Problem with the interest rate
Complaint: Filing yet another complaint can only try to see have it explained and documented on how Bridgecrest and XXXX have done and will continue to do shady business deals while taking advantage of people like me in my situation with horrible credit. Thinking because I have horrible credit I will not fight the issues involved. My prior complaint they apologized for me not getting my reimbursement check in timely matter like promised I ', m over that just want to make it clear it wasn't sent in a timely matter because I believe they wanted me to make the first mistake and not make payment on time or do something that I believe that will help their case if we are to ever take this to court. I have done everything that has been asked even though I believe I'm in my right not to. But why would I hurt my already horrible credit score and end up hurting myself and getting my vehicle taken form me. They were advertised as a company to help people like myself in my situation with horrible credit, build it up and be able to get into a vehicle when no one else would. I do commend them for that but not at this price. Im doing everything right making payments on time even though I have been heated a number of times and after calming down realize why should I help their cause. It is my belief they delayed my reimbursement check until after I had too make a payment to see if I was bluffing about not paying them. In previous emails I have recently sent to them I have no issue filing complaints until I'm blue in the face. I have been wronged and want things adjusted. What is the hold up they were fined by you for doing almost the exact same thing a few years ago and obviously haven't learned. What have I done to warrant this kind of treatment. I can see if I wasn't paying them but I am and every time I get a response from them it is worded very well that I have nothing to say but ok. In the State of Maryland a verb agreement over {$500.00} has to be in writing according to my research and feel that I am owed those payments back. But looks past that maybe I'm wrong that can happen. In their own words stated numerous of times that they went against company policy and reminded my contract which I'm also thanking them for and those payments aren't refundable because it was time that I was in the vehicle I had driven. Ok so by saying that in my eyes correct me if Im wrong, it is company policy to sell sub standard vehicles to people in my position with horrible credit and no money so they cant fight back and take them to court. The only reason it took so long to get out of the vehicle was because their process was very long to get things documented so that being said if they cant give me all of my payments back should at least in my opinion pro rate part of my payments back. I didn't sell myself a sub standard vehicle they did. Seems like I'm getting punished with all of the repocussions and they are carrying on business as usual with nothing stopping them form doing this to other customers. It will be a cold day in XXXX before I stop with these complaints and have nothing better to do then be thorn in their side until something is done to prevent this from happening to other customers. I pay my payments on time so Im not doing anything that would put me in breach of contract so I'll keep doing what I have to do until I either get something done so no one has to go through this like I have or I guess they find some other loophole they have that Im unaware of to get me from stop filing these complaints. I'm not doing anything illegal or am not threatening anyone so I can keep filing complaints and being a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX until I'm blue I the face and they cant stop me as log as I'm making payments onetime and for the correct amount. All nice on paper how they answered my concerns but got look through the blurred lines and actions taken by them have only helped them and not me the customer in good standing. Also they have given me documentation showing when signing for new vehicle my other was on my credit report so it was used to give me new interest rate. WHY DIDNT IT GO DOWN if it wasn't enough time reported that fine but need a better explanation at this point we are beyond being subtle.

Incorrect information on your report

Credit reporting, credit repair services, or other personal consumer reports: Credit reporting

Information is missing that should be on the report
Complaint: I financed a vehicle with Bridgecrest and made the first payment on XX/XX/XXXX. Unfortunately, on XX/XX/XXXX I had to file bankruptcy to stop a debt from an ex-husband. All of my bills were paid on time and I had not missed any payments, the filing was simply to stop a tax debt that was not mine. When I filed, I notified Bridgecrest to let them know that I would be reaffirming the loan, however an employee name XXXX XXXX contacted me to inform me that even though I would be continuing to pay for the vehicle, they would no longer report the payments ( I was willing to live with that ), and also that they would be REMOVING the account completely from my credit file. This I DO NOT AGREE WITH. Other than for punitive purposes, there is no reason to remove an account from anyone 's credit report. This is a form of " Re-aging '' and I believe it's illegal. I spoke to another employee there who stated that reporting was voluntary, and that's fine, however, once a company decides to report that account has to remain with accurate information. My other accounts remained but reflected the bankruptcy status. I even mentioned this to the bankruptcy trustee and even he stated that he had never heard of such a thing. I paid that account on time until the surrender and I want that account put back on my credit for it has re-aged my credit reports by its removal. That account was opened in XX/XX/XXXX and the credit file that it was removed from states that my oldest account is only 8 months old. This has in essence re-aged my credit report. At the time that Ms. XXXX informed me of there unscrupulous policy, I had her email a copy of my payment history for my records and for proof. Please let me know what documentation you need as this is in direct violation of the FCRA. I am trying to resolve this issue through this method however, I am prepared to take Bridgecrest to court as it has caused some financial hardships with having to pay higher interest rates because with this account being removed from my file, it appeared that I had not financed a car prior. I also have two finance managers from two well-known dealerships that are willing to make a statement and/or testify if I have to take this to court verifying the above statement. The original contract date was XX/XX/XXXX. Reaffirmation amount was to be {$18000.00}. Bankruptcy case number is : XXXX

Old information reappears or never goes away
Complaint: Bridgecrest is reporting falsely every month on my XXXX Credit Report. This account was closed due to a lemon vehicle that they sold me that did not work properly in 2009. It broke down on me several times within the years I had it. I filed many complaints with the company. Finally the transmission blew, I towed the car to them, and they refused to help other than to trade in for a another car with them. The transmission cost more than the car was worth. They sold the vehicle at auction {$2900.00}, then asked to negotiate for $ XXXX years later after they had already ruined my credit. This account is closed, reappeared again, and every time I dispute it they Update the status with the current date. It was removed then popped up again! They started to report it every month as " failed to pay '' since my disputes. I humbly asked them to remove it since its passed over 6 years and its going to drop from my report, but they keep saying they will not. This vehicle never worked properly and was a hazard to my safety. It was a XXXX XXXX with constant problems and parts needed replacing all the time. They acknowledged this as every time there was an issue I called them. This account should be dropping soon and their reps threatened me that now it may stay on my credit for 10 years not 7? They stated the only ones that can remove it is XXXX and to call them instead. Yet XXXX stated they are posting what Bridgecrest is reporting to them.

Credit reporting, credit repair services, or other personal consumer reports: Credit reporting

Information is missing that should be on the report
Complaint: Filed bankruptcy in XX/XX/XXXX which was eventually dismissed ; auto loan company has not reported payment history since then even though they were notified that the bankruptcy had been dismissed. Approximately XX/XX/XXXX Bridgecrest Acceptance Corporation provided a " Letter of Credit '' via email in lieu of reporting the open tradeline. The company indicated that the account was paid " 1 time 30 days late ''. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a hard copy letter that indicated the account was paid " 4 times 30 days late ''. I have sent written correspondence via email to have this corrected ; I have received no response to date with regard to that matter. However, the company still continues to make repeated, harassing calls several times of day, 4-5 messages and are relentless with requesting payment. I would like for the company to report ACCURATE information, as it is clear that their record keeping is egregious.

Complaint: Per the terms listed on the Bridgecrest.com website, in order to submit a request for name change, please fax a copy of your marriage license and government issued ID showing both your former and married names. I complied and faxed the documents and was replied via USPS that I needed a notary to verify my legal drivers license. Bridegecrest continues to report my payments and account to the credit bureaus in my maiden name which is no longer valid. Again, calling to ask why my name hasnt been updated, the rep claimed that my marriage license hadnt been received. I have a digital fax service which verified the pages were received. I faxed additional copies of my drivers licenses and marriage license requesting a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th time via fax and forwarding the faxes to email and they remain ignored. I want my legal name reflected on my loan account and it to be updated as such.

Seized or attempted to seize your property
Complaint: On XX/XX/18 XXXX XXXX repossessed my vehicle. During the course of the recovery the agent violated SC breach of peace laws and was reported to Bridgecrest. The agent also failed to produce repossession documents as well. Bridgecrest was contacted regarding this attempt and was asked to produce the repo affidavit, copy of title, right to cure and repossession order. This was requested both verbally, in email and from an FOIA request. They referred me to the agent. I contacted the agent to inquire about their surety bond information and insurance. The agent refused to release the info and referred me back to Bridgecrest. Bridgecrest fails to suppy the requested information so I can pursue my claim against them and the agent contracted by them. Bridgecrest also has submitted false facts to the SC Dept of Consumer Affairs regarding their stance on the ongoing situation. Bridgecrest was notified on XX/XX/XXXX that my debt was disputed and they should cease collection activities until investigated completely. They refused this and repossessed the vehicle. I am disputing interest applied on my account, incoreect application of payment, past due amount and total amount due. Bridgecrest continues to charge daily interest even though the car isn't in my possession. They also have failed to produce the state required 10 day letter as well as my personal belongings. Their shady practices and their agents should be investigated.

Billing problem
Complaint: I have been trying since XXXX to get an amortization schedule from Bridgecrest for my auto loan showing how my payments are allocated on my loan. I kept seeing a very high payoff quote online for my loan, near what I paid for the original loan. I keep getting conflicting information. Today I recieved a transaction history of my payments on my loan which clearly shows that they are not applying my payments correctly to my loan, including 3 payments towards nothing but interest on the loan. I have spoken to them several times about this and the foreign customer service is not understanding my complaint or requests for the payment schedule. I have made several payments well before the due dates to help keep the interest charged to me lower on a daily basis. Roughly around $ 10/day in interest. Please help me with what I believe is illegal practices on part of Bridgecrest. Thank you.

Lender trying to repossess or disable the vehicle
Complaint: I have repeatedly had to submit complaints about several separate times of this company calling more than one time per day leaving message. After the frist complaint they said they would stop doing that because that was wrong. It still continued. 4 separate days I had 2 voicemails and I again made a complaint but nothing was done again. I got a call today Monday XX/XX/XXXX and they left a voicemail that did not state the company name but did give a phone number to return their call and the message stated that payments made recently would not clear the deliquieny status of the account and that I should call to see if there are any options left. I called the company and all they said was that they would review the call and do internal training. This company continues to call and leave multiple voicemails on same day and has now left messages about collecting on a deliquent account and has not corrected thier behavior.

Difficulty submitting a dispute or getting information about a dispute over the phone
Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I had purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX located in XXXX XXXX, MD. Financed with Bridgecrest Account # XXXX. Up until XX/XX/XXXX I had issues with my XXXX XXXX XXXX and finally after jumping through hopes with XXXX and Bridgecrest it was offered to me that my vehicle would be bought back from me with out taking a negative hit to my credit. I eventually got a XXXX XXXX XXXX Bridgecrest financed again Account # XXXX. My interest Rate went up because what I finally found out after calling with Bridgecrest and XXXX is that when they bought my vehicle back even though I had made every payment on time they would have the credit Beauru to delete my on time payments that I had worked hard on and know when I bought my new vehicle my interest rate went up because of my credit score. SO I am out the 6 months of onetime payments I had paid towards my other car and my credit score is unchanged or worst. I was never told that my credit score would change like that after switching out into a new vehicle.

Complaint: In XX/XX/2015 I became unemployed and was receiving unemployment benefits. I had requested assistance from this lender in regards to assisting me with getting caught up on my payments but I continuously was behind a week, two weeks, and even into 30-60 days. The lender refused to offer any type of deferment/forbearance to assist me even though I repeatedly called and requested something to help me get caught back up. On a call a couple of months ago with the lender regarding a previous CFPB complaint I made regarding this matter, the agent stated that they do not have to offer assistance to their borrowers across the board and that these types of programs are only offered as the company allows and they are limited and not available all the time. I believe that this company is violating fair lending laws and is discriminating by not treating all borrowers the same across the board.
