Complaint: Im a service connected veteran I lost my job two years ago once I lost my job I made partial payments to Bridgecrest ( XXXX ) once I received a increase for my XXXX I caught my car payment up and set my payments on auto pay. XXXX has 16 inaccurate late payments on my report. I raised my score 160 points less than six months on my own however these late payments are affecting me personally and my score tremendously. I should have a 700-750 credit score but the late payments is causing my score to stay low. I have 30 days to move out of military housing and I cant rent nor purchase a home with my va loan due to the inaccurate late payments. I sent numerous goodwill letters pleading for forgiveness explaining what caused me to fall behind and My request was denied because my address wasnt updated. BRIDGECREST ( XXXX ) didnt update my address when I personally called to do so. I am currently caught up on my payments and will continue Lets me be clear every month I made a payment however its reported I didnt pay at all. My car payment is {$450.00} a month I only receive XXXX and just about every month my car is in the shop. I explained to Bridgecrest my issues but they wont help. Im currently fighting XXXX XXXX due to BRIDGECREST IM IN DESPERATE NEED TO HAVE THESE LATE PAYMENTS DELETED FROM MY REPORT. I pay {$450.00} for a car that has over XXXX miles I cant trade it in nor can I refinance. Im in desperate need please help

Complaint: Good Afternoon, My name is XXXX XXXX and I am writing to finish my ongoing battle with XXXX XXXX on some unfair and unreasonable marketing tactics. To start off I have been at this for a while with them and as of late I was obviously distressed and upset and still am for the treatment I had been given from them when dealing with my two vehicles I had purchased from them. Some emails had been exchanged on my part that I do have to apologize for but I have been and still am upset and just was trying o get what I believe is fairly owed to me. I have made all of my payments on time and will becoming up on a year now and have nothing to show for my troubles. My Credit Score hadn't gone up and the way they financed my new vehicle they made out and was able to increase my interest rate because of no fault of my own. They did offer me a settlement which at the time I had planned to reject because I was to give up my rights and youldnt complain any further but wrongs done to me. So I did reject it but before I could I was contacted by XXXX from Customer Relations with the message that offer of settlement was rescinded due to my emails and them basically coming to the conclusion that no matter what they did I wouldn't be happy. Looking back I should have taken the offer but glad I didn't because I still have the right to complain about horrible situations this company has put me into. They offered me to give me my original interest rate I had on my 1st vehicle I had purchased back from me because of the mechanical issues that I was having and going back and forth with them that this vehicle shouldn't have never been sold to someone in the General Public. Not to mention money I had paid into my first vehicle I wouldn't see back because it was time that I waist that vehicle which I was ok with at the time but was understanding that my Onetime payments would reflect my new interest rate. First they said it did before it was deleted and got another answer all together afterwards. I want what is fair tired dealing with this company by myself I was told even though the CFPB has no legal opinion in matters but could help me the customer who has been done wrong by a company who clearly takes advantage of consumers that have horrible credit and expect them not be able to fight back.

Complaint: I have a loan with XXXX XXXX located in XXXX, AZ. I filed bankruptcy and did NOT include them in the bankruptcy and have continued to make my payments on time. I noticed when I ran my credit report a few months ago, they removed the account from the report so it does not show I have a loan with them. I called them and they refused to rectify or explain after 3 calls and a complaint with the XXXX. All they told me was if someone files bankruptcy it is their policy to remove the account from the credit bureaus. They said they would " investigate '' and that it could take months, but then called me the next day and said there was nothing they could do. I have an open account with them and I need the payments to be reflected on my credit report which impacts my credit score.

Complaint: I sent a letter to Bridgecrest asking for verification of an account, they sent me back a letter saying that they did not have enough information to respond. I gave them my name and SS # which is more than enough. They have my physician address, as well as my P.O. Box ( so does the credit bureaus ). They also did not send me a 10 notice of redemption or a notice of sale, which are required by law for all repossessions. They also have my work address, so they had plenty of ways to notify me. My next step is small claims court with this issue. Thanks.

Complaint: Hello, My auto loan is currently past due. Have attempted to pay the outstanding balance, but each time my debit card has declined. In talking with my bank, will receive a new debit card, but since not a traditional bank ( XXXX XXXX ) have to wait. Contacted Bridgecrest on Saturday, because received an email on Friday that my payment didn't go through. Attempted with a rep named XXXX to make payment with my debit card and again it was declined. Explained the situation to her and she placed me on hold and said that the manager said " I was attempting to buy time ''. Why would I try to make good on my account if was trying to buy time? That comment was an insult. Furthermore, she wouldn't allow my co-signer who is a XXXX vet and only gets payment once a month to set up arrangements. I have had this loan since XX/XX/XXXX, the last payment on my account was on XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of XXXX. I want to be able to make a payment arrangement on my account to bring it current.

Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX overnight my vehicle was damaged in the hailstorm and I immediately contacted my insurance company and filed a claim the next morning XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX the insurance company representative came and inspected the vehicle and then, afterwards, on the same date made a settlement offer since the cost of repairs exceeded the value of the vehicle. XX/XX/XXXX I called Bridgecrest and asked the Bridgecrest employee for the payoff quote amount and the employee verbally said that the payoff quote amount is {$4300.00} and sent me the email with the same {$4300.00} payoff quote amount. The payoff quote period was from XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX. I forwarded the same email with the same payoff quote amount to the Insurance company and on XX/XX/XXXX the insurance company immediately sent the check # XXXX for the {$4300.00} payoff quote amount directly to Bridgecrest to their XXXX AZ address. Bri dgecrest received the check and did not apply the check to my loan account in a timely manner. And they did not update the account with the payoff check and did not report the account as paid in full to the Credit Bureaus. I called Bridgecrest and asked what happened to the check and why have they not applied the payoff check to my account ; I did not receive an explanation but they transferred me from one unhelpful employee to another unhelpful employee. And my issue was not resolved. Bridgecrest did not report the account as paid in full to the Credit Bureaus and they reported my loan account as late payment and delinquent. XX/XX/XXXX I filed disputes with XXXX ; and filed disputes with XXXX and XXXX and they did not conduct a proper investigation and they did not update my credit reports/files to remove the late payment, delinquency, any derogatory information from my report ; and, did not show the Bridgecrest account as being PAID IN FULL/SATISFACTORY.

Complaint: To Whom It May Concern : I am reaching out in the hope that you can assist me as I have been a victim of Fraud. On XX/XX/XXXX, I took possession of a XXXX white XXXX XXXX through XXXX, who advertised no fuss, and no pick up. Shopping online and having a vehicle dropped off at my door step was a large appeal as I am a busy working professional. XXXX used Bridgecrest a sub prime lender for the loan and there was no down payment, ( an added perk. ) When I took possession of the vehicle I was assured that it had been through XXXX point inspection, and educated about warranties and the like. I was given temporary tags and temporary registration that expired on XX/XX/XXXX. About 2 weeks into having the vehicle, I noticed a clicking noise when I happened to be driving with the windows down through a Sub division enjoying the weather. I was concerned and took the vehicle to the the mechanic that XXXX required which was a XXXX. They advised a screw in one of the tires, that was in at an odd angle so the tire kept air in it but there was a screw in it, and also advised cv joint damage which was disconcerting as I had not had the vehicle very long or driven it very frequently or outside of city limits, and this vehicle had allegedly undergone 100 point inspection. I contacted XXXX and Bridgecrest about these issues and this is where the real trouble began. When I contacted Bridgecrest they could not find me in their system, not even under my social security number. My loan came up under the name XXXX XXXX XXXX, and this XXXX lived in a completely different state. My name is XXXX XXXX XXXX and I live in Ohio. After discovering this I decided that I wanted to return the vehicle and do a completely new loan with the correct information this time. Bridgecrest would tell me to call XXXX and talk to them about it, and XXXX would tell me to call and talk to Bridgecrest. Myself and my partner XXXX both spoke with many representatives at both places and after many conversations ( because even though XXXX uses Bridgecrest as their lender, their communication is poor and put upon the client ) I was told by Bridgecrest 3 times that an " unwind '' would be done at the behest of XXXX and that after that I would be able to purchase a new vehicle with the registration done correctly this time and actually registered to me and in the actual state that I live in. I was told by XXXX twice that they would initiate an unwind, that it would take about 2 weeks to complete and that I would have no financial obligation. All of these conversations were recorded by these facilities though apparently what was actually written in the notes does not match what I was told multiple times. I asked that paperwork be mailed or emailed to me about this unwind and was advised that the paperwork would be with the driver of the tow truck when he picked it up. I was given a phone number to call and schedule for the pickup. I attempted to call and schedule a pick up and was told that the person who handled that was not in office and would later return my call. No one ever did return my call and then the tow truck showed up at my residence to get the vehicle on XX/XX/XXXX around midnight. I was only aware of it because I happened to be up, and he did not have any paperwork on him either. Let it be known that the temporary registration expired on XX/XX/XXXX and that I never received tags for this vehicle which makes sense when you take into account that it was registered to a different XXXX in a different state! I called XXXX the next day and was advised that they were not doing an unwind, that there were no notes indicating an unwind, and that I had would have full financial responsibility for this vehicle that I don't have, that is registered in the wrong name, that the temporary registration expired for, that I never received tags for. I called Bridgcrest who advised that XXXX would have to initiate the unwind and that since they were not, that the vehicle would be auctioned and that I would be financially responsible for the the outstanding balance on the loan. Please note that I never paid anything at all on this vehicle because I learned that the registration had the wrong identity attached to it, so I never paid a down payment and I never paid a monthly payment. My desire was to return the vehicle and start a new loan because I didn't want any looming concerns over incorrect identities being attached to my vehicle. I was blatantly lied to about what was happening and all of those conversations were recorded by those facilities. I am asking that you please help me resolve this matter. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX

When i went to get the vehicle, it had already been sold. I was told it was sold at an auction but i was never notified that the vehicle was going to auction. I also never received a notice of the amount that the vehicle sold for.

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX I co-signed for a car for my grandson because of my credit they put my name first my grandson was late every month with his payments because his payment date from his job did not match up with the due date for the car note this was not brought to my attention until XX/XX/XXXX once they called me we changed the due date so that he would not be late and this was XX/XX/XXXXXX/XX/XXXX he was behind two payments at that time the company was called XXXX XXXX the only way I found out he was behind was because they reported it to the credit bureau and they took 80 points off my credit I call them and ask why they did not reach out to me XX/XX/XXXXthey gave him an extension I spoke to two people within the last couple of weeks one said they gave him 6 weeks within the loan to catch up and he still behind a half a payment which I did not see on printout to catch up the other said they put those two payments at the end of the loan then changed it and said one payment the contract States the loan was 47 payments and the amount was for {$18000.00} the loan was supposed to end XX/XX/XXXX I had them to send me out his payment sheets his contract a few days ago after the extension they continue to charge him late fees even though the date was changed he paid all his payments on time after that and two additional payments at the end of the loan they say he still owes an additional {$900.00} on the principal but he has paid {$18000.00} a little over what the contract stated the full payment would be so they told me he signed a modification I asked my grandson he said he did not so I told them to send it to me when I read the modification his signature was not on there but mine was and signed incorrectly they did not have my permission they forged my signature this car is paid in full all these additional fees they want to add on I feel it's illegal and they need to be stopped they once again report it to my credit and took 78 points

Complaint: I have an auto loan with Bridgecrest. I fell behind on payments because I was recently diagnosed with XXXX.I tried several times to get my payment lowered or to defer payments as a result but was never successful so I paid what I could, when I could. Either way, my car was repossessed on XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX. I had a payment arrangement set up to avoid repossession for XXXX XXXX but they came and got my car anyway. I called to find out how much I had to pay to get my car back and for the past two days no one has given me an exact number, or known anything about the process to get it back. All day yesterday I attempted to get in touch with a supervisor after XXXX, made fun of me for having XXXX and told me cross my fingers that my car didnt get sold before I could pay for it. He told me that I owed {$1900.00} and that my car payment was 180 days behind so it would be charged off anyway. HE also stated that there were fees everyday. When I asked the cost of the fees he said that there was no set cost. I explained that if that was the case how would I know how much I had to pay to get my car out. He hung up. I did some research and found that my payment was 86 days late and in order to charge off an account it had to be 180 days, which it wasnt. I also logged into my account online and the balance owed was much less than the {$1900.00} but I made a {$490.00} payment anyway bringing my balance down to {$1100.00}. I called back seven times yesterday to speak to the manager due to my experience speaking with XXXX and no one called back or was available for the entire day. Finally, today I was able to speak to a manager at XXXX : XXXX XXXX, CST and he wouldnt do anything to help me make any arrangements other than a 7 day notice for the auction to not make any changes to my car. Numerous times in our hour long conversation I asked what the amount was that I had to pay to get my car out and/or if there was any way to wait to sell my car until XXXX XXXX being that they had 21 days per IL before they could sell it. I explained it was a five day difference and given the circumstances it would be a tremendous help to me.I explained that I could pay everything but {$400.00} which I could pay on the XXXX when I get my next check, therefore, paying all that was owed. HE refused. He stated that if I waited until the XXXX to make the final payment my car may have been sold and that I would have to cover any costs associated with preparing it for the auction sale. I explained that I would have all but {$400.00} paid by the XXXX which is before the car could legally be auctioned and that I only needed the additional five days to get paid and make the final payment but he still refused to accept the arrangement. I also explained that they would be set to lose thousands of dollars by auctioning the car rather than working with me and that I would do whatever necessary to prove I was going to make the payment on the XXXX and he still refused. He stated that any payment made after XXXX XXXX would have to include the XXXX payment that is due on the XXXX. I explained that if that had to be included I would be paying over {$3000.00} to get my car back and asked if there was any arrangement that could be made, once more I was told no. I then explained in order for me to even pay to get my car back before the XXXX I wouldn't be able to pay my rent, buy the medication I need or see a doctor and he said " ok ''. Being that I wasn't getting anywhere I asked when the car was going to be sent to the auction and he claimed it hadnt been sent yet. I asked what the cost associated with the transfer was and he claimed he did not know he could only estimate the cost and assured me that the car had not been moved as of yet. He stated that if I called the lot the car was taken to and they agreed not to move it yet I wouldnt have to pay the transfer fee and at the end of our conversation I Was told in order to get my car out today I had to pay {$1400.00}. Which included any fees that would happen. I again asked what the fees were and he could not give me a direct answer. I asked him why the amount he was telling me was not reflected with the online account and I did not receive an answer. We ended the conversation with the understanding that I would be paying that amount by EOD either by my father or myself. At XXXX I logged on to my online account with Bridgecrest and noticed my balance reflected was not {$1400.00} but {$1100.00}, I still made an online payment to Bridgecrest for {$1400.00} and I called the tow company my car was taken to prior to going to the auction. When I called I spoke to an agent who notified me that the car was sent to the auction this morning. I explained that I just had gotten off the phone with Bridgecrest and they told me it hadnt been sent. She assured me it was sent. When I asked where the auction was she could not give me a name, she just told me it was in XXXX which is 40 minutes from the tow yard the car was originally at. The way this entire repossession was handled may have been legally done but not with ethics. For someone who is battling XXXX to make a payment arrangement only to have my car repoed anyway it outlandish. I am skipping out on XXXX and my rent in order to pay for my car and try to get it back but it seems like a waste of time. When I call tomorrow to see what I need to do to get my car back I can nearly bet that they will say a different number even though I have made the payment today. I just want my car back, to be handled ethically and to have some understanding. Things happen in lives. You cant go around treating people like trash because of it. I am not asking for a miracle, however, I am asking for some understanding. I have offered to pay all but {$400.00} and the XXXX XXXX payment in a timely manner. I asked that XXXX XXXX payment be pushed to XXXX and that I would pay XXXX and XXXX payments together. I also let them know that even though I feel sick every day and have XXXX, I still went and got a job so that I could ensure I can pay this bill. No matter what resolution I offered nothing was beneficial. It is about to be winter in a few months, going through XXXX, isn't an option if I am not driving myself. It would only make me more sick. And I am not using it as an excuse but I would hope someone in my situation would have some compassion or understanding in return.

I request that BRIDGECREST CREDIT provide verification of the following : 1. The original Application or contract ; 2. Any and all statements allegedly related to this debt ; 3. Any and all signed receipts ; 4. Any and all canceled checks ; 5. Original date of default and collection activity begin 6. Whether you purchased the debt, and if so, the amount paid for the debt 7. If what they did is true when I had signed for my new vehicle trade line on my XXXX XXXX XXXX and what they have stated say that when I had signed for my new vehicle my old deadline or contract on my XXXX XXXX XXXX was still on my report before it was deleted and was put into consideration for my new interest rate than why did my interest rate increase after 6 plus months of on time payments and they also financed me for 2 to 3 payments longer at a lower payment as well but thatisnt the issue the issue is those extra payments is extra money in there pocket they are not entitled to and should have been given a Lower one because of set conditions. On time payments should lower not raise interest rate.

I didn't live in VA at the time of purchase my drivers license can prove this I had the car repossessed becaue I was told " I '' didn't register the car I can prove this I paid XXXX Tax and Tags I can prove this I currently on this day of XX/XX/2018 have a credit of over {$100.00} dollars I can prove this I tried to find a law that gives the lien holder the right to take the car under these circumstances I couldn't find any. I was told today I need to get VA dirvers licenses I can prove this also. I told " XXXX '' from XXXX XXXX XXXX can you ship the car to a XXXX location in N.C. and because it's now a problem and it wasn't them and have them register the car there and I'll pick it up. I was told no " you have to get a VA driver 's license, and hey all you have to do is do that and this matter is resolved ''. I then told her " I'm not getting a licesnse in VA it wasn't required when I brought this car and I don't live in VA ''. I also told her well a person can sign an agreement for a loan for 5 years and move! it not a crime to move or is it a problem at all to move when your financing a car. In addition once I obtain a VA license I'm admitting wrong! I'll have to send you a copy of all paper work. I would like you to publish this and us my name and info :

Complaint: I made my final scheduled payment on an auto loan with Bridgecrest ( formerly XXXX ) on XX/XX/2018, a few days before the scheduled maturity date of XX/XX/2018. When I made the final payment the agent that I spoke with informed me that I had 90 days from the maturity date to pay the remaining balance on the loan. I paid the remaining balance 84 days later on XX/XX/2018. Roughly a week later on XX/XX/2018 I pulled a new credit report and was surprised to find that they had reported 30 days late in XX/XX/XXXX and 60 days late in XX/XX/XXXX. At no point during the initial conversation did the agent mention that it would be reported negatively during the 90 days. I also spoke with an agent a few times during that 90 days and was never told that it was reporting negatively or that it would report negatively. After pulling the credit report, I contacted the loan company and spoke with a manager who assured me that it would be fixed. A few days later I received a credit reporting letter with an account status of " Paid / 81 days past due '' and 1x30 for XX/XX/2018. Again I contacted the loan company and spoke with a different manager that is now stating that there is nothing that they can do.

Complaint: I purchased a car from XXXX and it was financed by XXXX XXXX -- now Bridgecrest. XXXX never took the first $ XXXX from my account and without telling me decided to mark my car to be repossessed. ( after having paid all of my bridgecrest payments for 6 months ) In addition to totally being inaccessible, they refused to accept my $ XXXX once I found this out. Never delivered my registration and reported on behalf of bridgecrest on my credit report that I was late on payment ( which I was definitively NOT apart of the loan for bridecrest that they falsely reported on ). XXXX removed this after a dispute was initiated. But XXXX still intends to take my car as a repossession. I even offered to give them back the car if they agreed to not write anything further derogatory on my credit report and they have flatly ignored my offer. Such XXXX and am out thousands of dollars because they refuse to accept my money.

Problem with fees charged
Complaint: We enrolled in autopay for a used car loan from Bridgecrest on XX/XX/2018 for a car loan with the first payment due on XX/XX/2018. The company website set the first payment for XX/XX/2018 without making us aware that it would mean that the first payment would not be made. They called me when the loan was past due and said that they couldn't autodeduct the payment because there is a 2 week delay after signing up. Then they charged me a XXXX fee for paying over the phone by checking account. All information they had in the autopay registration from XX/XX/XXXX. This practice must be to gain extra fees and interest from late payments because it does not take 2 weeks to set up an autopay and even if it did the registration process should state that the payment will be late and provide alternatives to make the payment by the due date.
