Problems at the end of the loan or lease

Vehicle loan or lease: Loan

Unable to receive car title or other problem after the loan is paid off
Complaint: I refinanced and paid off a car loan that was held by Bridgecrest back in early XXXX of 2019. It was overpaid by aproximately {$130.00} and I have not yet received the refund of the overpayment. Everytime I call they tell me that a check has been sent and verify the address with me but it has been 2 months and I have not received a check. I think there has been adequate time to issue this refund and do what is necessary to make sure I receive it.

Managing the loan or lease

Vehicle loan or lease: Loan

Problem with additional products or services purchased with the loan
Complaint: According to Florida Law chapter 624 if I can't pay for insurance ( because the premium is higher than the car payments ) the bank has to pay for it : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX-XXXX/XXXX/XXXX/XXXX.XXXX I called my lender, Bridgecrest, to apply forced-placed insurance to my car in exchange for higher payments. Bridgecrest refused to do that and I can't afford full cover insurance. My HOA found out my car has no plate and are pushing me to move the car or have it towed at my expense, at which point I would need a license, proof of registration ( don't have ) and proof of insurance ( none ) in order to get it back from the impound lot. I have been struggling with this all week and I don't want my credit ruined and my bank account gnashed because Bridgecrest refuses to pay for car insurance. Bankruptcy won't help neither since filing for chapter XXXX or chapter XXXX won't help since I have to sell non-exempt property or make payments. I don't deserve a decade of financial suffering over a car. This has gone far enough and I can't lose everything I worked so hard to gain.

Incorrect information on your report

Vehicle loan or lease: Loan

Account status incorrect
Complaint: In XX/XX/2018, I paid my car loan off in full. Prior to paying the loan in full, I had been speaking with representatives at Bridgecrest regarding my account status. I initially requested that my late payment me pushed to the back of the loan. They denied my request multiple times stating I was not out of my hardship ( this was obviously untrue because I quickly paid the loan in full ). They then told me as long as I paid my account prior to the end of the month, I would not be considered late. I was told this multiple times and I recorded each phone call. I made my final payment prior to the end of XXXX as agreed, but Bridgecrest marked my account late in XXXX. I attempted to contact a supervisor in XXXX regarding the issue. He said he would listen to the recorded calls that Bridgecrest had on record and get back to me. I told him if he could not find them, I could provide my own personal phone calls. I never received an update. I called Bridgecrest and the supervisor directly for almost a month, received no update, no one even returned my phone calls. So I tried disputing through credit bureau, but Bridgecrest refused to update, XXXX refused to update, and each dispute I asked for where I could send my recorded calls for proof. I am trying again through CFPB. If someone would just listen to the recorded calls either from Bridgecrest or mine, they will here the reps say I always have until the end of the month to make a payment before I am considered late. Bridgecrest saw a customer in need, and denied them the opportunity to apply past due on back of loan, then reported me late after telling me I had until the end of the month. I have seen multiple complaints from other customers about how Bridgecrest has taken advantage of lendees in the exact same fashion. This is an extremely dirty business practice that needs to be addressed.

Struggling to pay your loan

Vehicle loan or lease: Loan

Problem after you declared or threatened to declare bankruptcy
Complaint: I have retained a bankruptcy lawyer and I notified Bridgecrest in XXXX that a lawyer has been retained and offered the attorney 's information which they refused to take. I received an email and text message XX/XX/2019 from Bridgecrest advising that a payment is due and I responded to the text message that I have an attorney and sent the name and phone number of my attorney. I received a return text that my vehicle is currently out for recovery and I needed to make a payment of {$1700.00} today XX/XX/2019 because there is not a notation on my account that an active bankruptcy is present. I followed my attorney 's instructions and notified all creditors of obtaining an attorney and this creditor is the only one that has continuously failed to stop collection proceedings.

Complaint: XXXX XXXX for a payment arrangement d/t sickness. I did not want this to negatively impact my credit and they agreed with the payment arrangements. I have a printed copy of the arrangement they agreed to. I completed my payments and now am receiving an alert that they turned me in for being 30 days late which is a false statement. I continued to make my agreed payments. I disputed this with XXXX and they contacted XXXX and said they confirmed it was correct. They didn't even ask for a copy of the payment arrangements or proof of my payments they took their word for it and now I can't file another dispute or upload the documents because it is closed.

Credit reporting, credit repair services, or other personal consumer reports: Credit reporting

Account information incorrect
Complaint: I bought a XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX around XX/XX/2018. I bought the car and then traded it in for an XXXX XXXX XXXX. When I did this, I had Bridgecrest send the payoff amount that they quoted me, to themselves for the XXXX. XXXX/Bridgecrest is claiming that the payoff was {$3000.00} short. I understand that, however the quote I was given covered the full amount of the car, and I sent it to Bridgecrest and XXXX and it was approved. The issue here is that on my credit, Bridgecrest shows a charge off amount for the XXXX on my credit of {$27000.00}. This is not accurate as I got a payoff for the XXXX. Please remove the XXXX off my credit as I properly traded that car in for the XXXX XXXX.

Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem

Credit reporting, credit repair services, or other personal consumer reports: Credit reporting

Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I got a response from Bridgecrest for my complaint with CFPB XXXX about my total loss claim on my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in the complaint Bridgecrest agreed to omit the days pass do because of my Insurance company had not sent them the last XXXX but, Bridgecrest did get pretty much 99 % of the payment. This was not my fault, as that last payment was supposed to go to me for registration that I paid on the car, but instead, it was somehow added to the payment to the lien holder. I thought after the complaint Bridgecrest and, I came to a resolution they would omit the days pass due to 0 30 days late 0 60 days late 0 90 late. They even sent me a letter while the CFPB complaint was still open saying that is what they were going to do, and they also responded to CFPB complaint and, the complaint with XXXX stating that is what they were going to do upon both complaints being closed they waited to tell XX/XX/XXXX and, sent me another letter stating they where changing it to 91 days late. even though they got payments in XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX and, XX/XX/XXXX. This is insane how this company can lie to both me CFPB AND, XXXX and get away with this. I also sent a certified letter out requesting proof of contract, and all payments, and checks that were made because I never got reimbursed for my warranty, no response other then the letter stating they were changing the late dates from 0 to 91 days although the account was never 91 days past due.

Incorrect information on your report

Credit reporting, credit repair services, or other personal consumer reports: Credit reporting

Account information incorrect
Complaint: I am the owner of a vehicle in a car accident XX/XX/XXXX. The car was declared a total loss by the insurance company on XX/XX/XXXX and the insurance company negotiated a payment with the lender. At the time the driver, my husband, was the person paying the car loan. A payment was made XX/XX/XXXX. The lender estimated the car value ( loan and interest at {$19000.00} ). The insurance company sent a check for {$10000.00} ( on XX/XX/XXXX ). We had also been paying for gap insurance ( through Bridgecrest ) and other services along with the monthly payment. During the entire time we were in correspondence with the lender. In XX/XX/XXXX I followed up with the lender ( bridgecrest ) regarding an update. On XX/XX/XXXX they informed me they just sent the documents required to the gap insurance for payment and that would take another 20 days to process. In the interim on XX/XX/XXXX I received an email from one of the added service providers ( XXXX ) concerning they refunded to Bridgecrest {$2800.00} for the service contract and GPS contact I had. XXXX informed me that the gap insurance would cover any balance remaining after their refund was applied. With the check from my insurance, and the refund from XXXX the company still charged off {$8300.00} to my credit report without a final statement or any other accounting being made. No gap insurance was applied ( even though they were paid at the very least through XX/XX/XXXX ). I requested this from them but have gotten no response.

I have been in this 2009 XXXX XXXX almost 5 years and have paid over {$21000.00} and still owe over {$9000.00} on the loan. I am being ripped off. Managing the loan or lease

Vehicle loan or lease: Loan

Loan sold or transferred to another company
Complaint: I am a co-signer on this loan which is now in good standing ; I would like to be removed from this loan ; as i am trying to purchase my first home. When I co-signed for this loan with my ex-husband ; I thought that I was still married. It wasn't until after I co-signed with him ; that I found out that I was divorced. He divorced me in another county ( 100 ) miles from me in XXXX County ; stating that he couldn't find me, which was a lie ; he had already started a new relationship. I found out by getting a call from his girlfriend that I was divorced now. If I would have known that I was divorced from him, I would have NEVER co-signed on that loan. The only reason why I was added to the loan was because he just started his new job and needed someone who was on the job for a longer period of time. When he left, he left me and my children with nothing, cleaned out all of the accounts, and we lost everything. I have worked really hard to build my credit up and pay off thousands of dollars of debt to get to a place where me and my children can finally get out this apartment. I am begging to be removed from this loan ; he has been on the job for 2 years +, and he's making payments on time ; and paying additional each payment. I dont drive the car ; nor have I ever driven it. I dont even know where its at. Please remove my name from the loan ; as I will not be able to move into my own home with this removal. What can be done here? Please, help me.
