Complaint: I never bought a car from the dealer that financed it using Westlake financial car was never registered to my name It never even was reported to motor vehicle saying that I owned it the dealership stole the money directly from the bank and kept it I only found out that in my credit report I tried to contact the dealer they closed down so I contacted Westlake myself and they told me that someone has the money they lend out I told them I never took the car at all registered it or insured it the dealer himself took the money using my personal information they claim I owe them {$14000.00} for a XXXX XXXX XXXX car that I never owned my personal records will show that I never owned this car or anything related to it

Complaint: I called for a payoff amount in XXXX of 2014 on my vehicle loan, and I paid the amount I was told which was {$260.00}. I did not receive a clear title, however I still had my title with the lien holder on it, and I wasn't selling the car, so I didn't think anything about it. I tried to obtain the title recently, and I was told that I still owed money, however I was never contacted about this, and no attempt to collect the money was ever made by XXXX XXXX. I don't feel I owe this money, as I was told the amount to pay by XXXX XXXX when they gave me the payoff. I just would like to get a clear title.

Complaint: This is my last and final attempt to have this issue resolved before seeking legal action against the credit reporting agency and the company. My rights have been violated. I sent in several disputes to have incorrect information deleted from my credit report. Westlake financial services has been reporting incorrect information on my report. I have asked them to provide proof the proof provided was incorrect and was not what was being reported on my credit report. I have asked XXXX to do and complete a thorough 8investigation and have not received any feedback or even an update on the dispute. Yet they have added this account back to my Credit Report without my knowledge. I do believe that under the FCRA this is illegal on both the CRA and the company. So again this is my final attempt to have this problem fixed before I seek legal action to have this completed.

Complaint: To whom it may concern : I took out a car title loan around XX/XX/XXXX from XX/XX/XXXX and unfortunately fell behind on my payments. My vehicle was repossessed, however, I quickly paid to have my car reinstated back to me in the amount of {$1000.00}, which was wired to XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX using code # XXXX ( reference # XXXX ). I called XXXX several days later to pay off my balance and close the account. I was told by the agent that the repossession fee had cleared, and that my pay-off balance was {$3500.00}, which I paid on XX/XX/XXXX ( reference # XXXX ). I asked several times to make sure that this was all I owed and each time the answer was Yes. I was also told that my title would be released back to me, which led me to believe there was no longer a lien on my vehicle, or any balance owed to XXXX. Come to the present, I was going through my paperwork and realized I never received my title. I went online to the XXXX website only to discover a {$210.00} balance on the account. I immediately called on XX/XX/XXXX and explained to the agent the issue, and was told a supervisor would review my case, and that I needed to call back the next day. I called back on XX/XX/XXXX and calmly explained to the agent the issue again, and was rudely interrupted telling me that she needed to explain what the supervisor noted. I asked to speak with the supervisor, XXXX, who reviewed my account and was told she was not there, even though I was told to call back that day to speak with her. I then asked to speak with another supervisor or manager and was placed on hold for over 12 minutes, which is excessive. Frustrated, I called back and talked to XXXX, who was actually polite and quickly got me to a supervisor. Low and behold the supervisor was XXXX XXXX, whom I was told was not there in a previous call. XXXX said that there were 2 charges of {$80.00} and {$75.00} assessed to my account that were part of the repossession charge, and any amount from XX/XX/XXXX to now is all interest fees. I told her I was never disclosed this information and that I dispute any balance on my account. I said I was promised my title and I felt I was deceived. I was then told that she would waive the interest fees, but unless I pay them {$150.00} they will not release my title. I am now frightened that they will try and repossess my vehicle over a balance that was never disclosed, or charged to my account incorrectly. I believe that XXXX in violation of several consumer protection acts, withheld information and behaved in an unfair and deceptive manner. The resolution I am seeking is for XXXX to waive the entire balance owed and release the title immediately through certified mail. Thank you,

Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I disputed information on my credit report with XXXX. They did not investigate my dispute in a timely matter ( 30 days ) and is still reporting this inaccurate information. As of XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX is in violation of the FCRA. I called them the same day to see why they did not follow the law. It is very difficult to get anybody on the phone. Their automated phone system is designed to hang up on you if don't pick one of two options that did not apply to my situation ( I did not need a new credit report or place a fraud alert on my account ). I tried getting through for several days. I finally got through to someone, which she was not much help. Another dispute was started, but the phone got disconnected after being on the phone for an hour. My dispute is with Westlake Financial Service, which they is reporting accurate information. This account was deleted once and then reinserted back on my credit report. XXXX violated the 5 day reinsertion notification. On top of that the information reporting is inaccurate and incomplete ( XXXX XXXX ). Westlake also uses another name to stay on credit reports. Their other name is Westlake Service Inc. They once was on my credit report with both names at the same time. XXXX recently verified this account as being accurate. But how is that? I recently wrote Westlake last month and I have not heard from them ( 30 days ) 2 ) XXXX XXXX is on my report. This old outdated account is still on my report, which they stretched the dates, because this is a XXXX account. The information reporting is also inaccurate and incomplete. 3 ) XXXX XXXX XXXX is account that is reporting inaccurate information and the wrong account type. I disputed the balance and the days late is not accurate. 4 ) XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX is an item that I do not recognize the account number or the account. They reporting late payments that don't add up and charge off balances that don't match the past due. How can the past due amount be more than the charged off amount? 5 ) XXXX XXXX XXXX is reporting 120 days late back in XXXX which is inaccurate. They are a school loan that was in deferment. I have challenged the accuracy, compliance and reportability of these listings to no avail. As of today, XXXX has failed to comply with the laws of the FTC and the FCRA. These reporting errors has greatly impacted my credit score and is making it hard for me to be financed with the best interest rates.

Complaint: I will start with my original issue with the company Westlake Financial Services : on XX/XX/XXXX I purchased a vehicle and took out a loan through westlake. That vehicle proceeded to fail Massachusetts state inspection 3+ times. The dealer and westlake were both contacted and informed. The dealer proceeded to make some repairs and the vehicle still failed again. And again. And again. I tried returning this vehicle but unfortunately I did not go through the proper steps. that aside. Westlake never made one effort to contact this dealer. They never once tried correcting this issue and because of this. I am paying on a {$6000.00} loan with a 24 % interest rate for a vehicle that has been sitting in my yard. Undrivable since XX/XX/XXXX the day I bought it. This vehicle qualified under the Massachusetts lemon aid law MGL chapter 90 section 7n and westlake made no efforts to see through to their end of the contract by providing me money for a vehicle that WILL pass inspection. They trapped me into a loan for a vehicle that TO THIS DAY HAS A REJECTION STICKER ON IT. So that is my first issue. Let me go on to my second and most concerning issue I have with Westlake, the inaccurate credit reporting. Firstly. Westlake has granted me a deferral for the payment due in XXXX. They later on said that there was NEVER a deferral given to me. Months later I found the original deferral contract ( which I have ) and they still deny it. On top of all of this. They have been reporting that I am over 30 days late for the month of XXXX. And over 60 days late for the month of XXXX. I will provide pictures of my payments. Please note this!!!!!! : I have a video/ audio recording of a phone call with Westlake of them acknowledging that I was not late! They told me in a phone call that my issue would be corrected and my info would correctly be reported to the credit agencies. BUT THEY NEVER DID!!! And they deny that anyone ever told me that! Also there was a confusing phone call made on XX/XX/XXXX where it was stated that I was caught up to date. Later on come to find out they tell me I was not up to date. And nobody ever told me that. So rest assure. If you find the phonyou call between Westlake and myself on XX/XX/XXXX you will clearly hear a Westlake employee tell me I am caught up to date. PLEASE HELP ME. I have been dealing with COUNTLESS similar issues with Westlake and it is never ending. I am on my last straw. I am in the process of filing against them in small claims court for the full price of the vehicle. Westlake shouldve voided the contract as soon as they found out the vehicle failed inspection. But they didnt and now Im trapped in a loan for a vehicle I couldnt use since day one. And not only that but they are inaccurately reporting on my credit which is INABLING ME FROM DOING ANYTHING Westlake has tarnished my credit illegally and now my wife and I are having an extremely hard time buying a house, and getting another vehicle. Because I am trapped in this loan. Please help me ( also innacuratly reporting my payoff balance to the credit companies for the entire time Ive had this loan )

Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX - Buy XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX and Westlake Finance as the financing company with {$6400.00} Amount Financed 10.15 % APR, 36 months to pay with a Financed Charge of {$1000.00}, Total payment of {$7500.00} and payment of $ XXXX/month for 36 months beginning XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX - cancelled the extended warranty worth {$1300.00} So now the Principal Amount/Amount Financed was reduced. The WESTLAKE FINANCE told me to pay the same amount $ XXXX/month, nothing has been reduced, so I asked them to send me a new updated accounting but until now nothing. What I understand is my payment of {$200.00} have a fixed rate, meaning fixed monthly Finance/interest charge and fixed monthly Principal amount, but every month said interest and principal amount keep on chaging. Again I asked them thru email to explain. I have made 4 monthly payments already and the account statement that they are sending have different amount in interest and principal, and until now they have nit sent me an updated account where I can see how long will I pay and the adjusted amount and every important details that can be easily understand.

Complaint: I was involved in a hit n run accident. The defendants auto insurance paid the value of the car, but that did not satisfy the loan. I paid off the entire loan in full. However, the title and lien release was sent to the defendants insurance company. The insurance co. Only pais for the " fair market value '' of the XXXX XXXX that has been totaled. The loan that I paid off on XX/XX/XXXX is listed on the credit bureau as being paid off by the insurance company. Westlake Financial never reported the paid off vehicle until after I purchased my new vehicle XXXX XXXX XXXX, on XX/XX/XXXX. I had to request that they vehicle paid off, get reported. Therefore my interest rate is 22 %. My new loan is with Westlake, as well. However, they never held up their end of the contract.

It was never disclosed that the loan was intetest only upfront before any principle was paid. This loan would cost approximately {$23000.00} for a {$13000.00} car. Had this been disclosed as required by law I would have declined. This is textbook racketeering.

Complaint: On Thursday XX/XX/XXXX I mailed a check to payoff my vehicle. I included an extra day of interest, whereas they would not receive the payment until XX/XX/XXXX. At XXXX XXXX in California on XX/XX/XXXX they received the payment, and I have confirmation from the USPS in regards to who signed for it and at what time Westlake did not apply the payment until the XXXX and are trying to charge me a daily interest rate of {$7.00} On XX/XX/XXXX they were showing that I owed {$29.00} and I contacted them. I was told that the matter would be taken care of in 24 hours. On XX/XX/XXXX they are showing that I owe them {$7.00} and it will continue to climb daily until they figure it out. The payment was received on the day that I paid them through, it is not my fault they did not post it immediately even though they claim that they post payments on the day they are received. Until this matter is resolved I will not receive my vehicle title

Complaint: The dealer who handled my documents did not properly transfer the title, leading the vehicle to get repossessed. He misused my Identity ( ID fraud ) In the interim, he prolonged the time in correcting his mistake, resulting in the car to be sold. I then contacted the initial financing company ( Westlake ) explained the situation and provided them with documentation. Because I was left without a vehicle after financing it, I went to the Dept of Motor vehicle and put in a complaint. Upon the DMV 's instigation, the dealer was fined for faulty practices. I have contacted the collection company in regards to this matter as well as Westlake Financial to properly report on my credit report. I gave Westlake the police report, showing the vehicle was repossessed due to the title not matching the plates and then sold and I had no longer possess the vehicle. XXXX stated they will not collect the balance on this account because I provided proof of the fraud that was committed. However, they continued to report this fraudulent debt on my report.

Was told my payment would be a certain amount ( under {$200.00} ) and when the monthly payment was due, the amount was twice as much ( {$460.00} ) as the guy told me on the phone ... I borrowed {$2500.00} and with in four months The loan has ballooned to {$8100.00} ... I was misinformed, the statements that are sent to my house are inconsistent with the online account balance, when you call the customer service reps, they talk in circles and use language and jargon the average person cant understand ... This Company is out to manipulate and steal peoples money. They are vultures
