Complaint: Westlake Financial Services financed my loan ( 4year ) on my truck in XX/XX/XXXX. I had the truck 9 months and the truck was totaled at no fault of my own. XX/XX/XXXX. I owed XXXX on the truck. The at fault driver of the accident only had XXXX worth of insurance. They paid XXXX to West Lake in XX/XX/XXXX. West Lake will not refinance the loan for the other XXXX dollars. They said there is a daily interest and a lot of the money they was paid in went to the interest. They will not look at it as though its a 4 year loan and more than half is already paid off, they hit me every month with late charges and interest. The monthly payment was XXXX a month. I had to have another vehicle so I now have two truck payments of XXXX a month and XXXX a month. I can not afford both. I have tried to make smaller payments to them ( XXXX ) and they still want the whole amount of XXXX and charge me late fees and etc. They are aware that the truck was totaled, XXXX XXXX came and took my truck. If you paid a majority of the loan off in the first year why wouldn't they work with us and take off some of the interest or at least lower the payment and be feasible.

Complaint: West lake continues to report the incorrect amount to XXXX they have my loan amount listed {$1700.00} more than what I owe and more than what is showing on my statement, they keep reporting this inaccurate amount of {$15000.00}. The accurate amount that should be reporting to XXXX is {$14000.00} which is the amount that is on the statement from XX/XX/2018! Westlake is violating the FCRA federal law they keep updating my XXXX report with this inaccurate balance which keeps hurting my credit score. I will contact a lawyer if westlake does not update the account with XXXX to the correct amount!

Complaint: Hi there, I purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX from a used care dealer here in XXXX florida, They got me financed through a company by the name of Westlake Financial with a ridiculous Interest rate but I didn't care as I planned to pay the car off within the first year. Well that didn't happen because the place that sold me the car sold me a car which they swore up and down didn't have any issues with it at all and come to find out within 2 months I had to spend {$4500.00} dollars on a new/used transmission , Drive Shaft, And a bunch of other things that were wrong with the car so the money I had put aside to pay off the car went out the window. I kept up with payments and I fixed the car and got it to where I wouldn't have any issues with it for a long time. A few weeks after getting the car back I had it parked outside of a restaurant in downtown XXXX where a young drunk driver ran a red light and couldn't make the turn which in result ended up with my car getting totaled. This happen on XXXX XXXX, I was XXXX but the girl had full coverage insurance and I knew I had gap coverage so I wasn't worried about the car getting paid off and then I could get something else within a little bit of time after I saved up for another down payment. I notified my auto load company of what had happen and made sure they were aware, I was told by them I was not responsible for any payments after the date of loss which was on XX/XX/XXXX after about 3 weeks I went to meet with the girls insurance company to get my settlement check taken care of, They paid out {$5800.00} roughly towars the load amount which was for about {$7300.00} total at this point. The gap coverage paid about another {$1400.00} something dollars towards the loan which left me with almost nothing as a balance. Well comes to find out once the gap and everything got taken care of they told me that I owed them for XXXX, XXXX, XXXX for the payments I missed, I explained to them I was not going to pay for payments on a car I no longer had and that was deemed a total loss by the insurer of the person who wrecked into my car, Not to mention they already had a {$5800.00} check from the person insurer already at this point and they were waiting for the gap which was in house and they were also getting the {$1400.00} something dollar check from that to cover the loan amount, which left me a balance of like {$300.00} which I was prepared to pay if they would close my account and remove these bogus late fee payments which were reported to my credit. they refused and have been reporting me every month again and again and ruining my credit. They got {$7100.00} roughly of a {$7500.00} loan for a car that was worth way less than that and yet they are still trying to scam me out of more money. This is not a fare practice and they should be investigated, The next complain I will be making is going to be the Florida State Attorney General on this company. My credit score went from a XXXX to less than a 450 all because they are trying to scam me for more money. Please I need help resolving this issue

Complaint: Today XX/XX/XXXX I received a call from Westlake Financial Services that they had taken over my loan from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I had received no prior notice giving me any time to refinance my loan thru another company as I do not want to do business with Westlake. I do not want to have my loan via a company that has had multiple lawsuits against them for deceitful lending practices as well as other concerning things like their deceitful debt collecting tactics. One of the lawsuits just ran out on XX/XX/XXXX for consumers to file against them. Which is very curious as to their take over 5 days later and makes me wonder if this is why there was no prior notice. I talked to Westlake and they could give me no information other than it was a " business decision '' and to talk to XXXX. Which every number i have tried for them goes to a generic voicemail. This seems very off to me and I would like time to find another lender for my loan. However I have a payment due in 7 days and I do not want to go thru Westlake. I feel this was done in a very unprofessional way and illegally as there was no notice of this takeover. And i have received nothing from either company with any of the details of my account or anything else. Yet Westlake expects me to just make my payment to them next week.

Complaint: My car was wrongful repossessed by Westlake financial in XX/XX/2017. I was under the impression that I had paid off all my principal debt for my car. I was told a specific amount to pay by their collection agent and I paid that amount using my debt card in XX/XX/2017. The agent told me that I would only have the late charges remaining but I could pay the late charges a little bit at a time, but my car would not be repossessed. The day my car was repossessed, Westlake didnt have the information right away. Once they confirmed the repossession, I asked them why and told them they didnt have a right to repossess my car. Thats when they told me I had XXXX left in principle and late charges. I asked them to review the call from the agent but they refused. I then reached out to their leadership but they were very little help ; the complaint mangers response time to my emails was horrible. It took the manager days to response and when she did, she offer very little information or assistance. After I realized Westlake was not going to give back my car, I asked for a settlement to help with the charges. Westlake agreed to accept less but said it had to be approved by a manager. I waited over 5 days for a decision only to be told, they could not accept because my car was worth more than the settlement and they could get the full balance if they sold my car at auction. I was shocked and disgusted that this rep was telling me this. I feel this is unfair treatment, had I not had equity in my car Westlake would have been more than happy to accept less. And again I mention Westlake offered me the settlement. Now I have repossession on my CBR and I feel it is wrongful reported. I did not receive a letter of default or stating my car was in jeopardy of being repossessed. I want the repossession removed and I still have not received my title for my unit.

Complaint: XXXX XXXX purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2016. We recently had a issue with the Finance company Westlake Financial in California. They actually repoed our vehicle becasue of a NSF, which was not the case, XXXX XXXX, can verify there was sufficient funds. We then decided to get rid of the car, and go with another finance company. Upon trying to find the value of the car, the car purchased according to paperwork, and Westlake Financial is not the car she has. My wife is paying for an XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, she was given a XXXX XXXX XXXX, the first is the high end model, hers is the base. The dealer provided which we have with their writing on it, a fake XXXX report which have discovered, thich has her VIN number, but the vehicle listed is not the same, total fraud, and scam. Claiming the car she purchwas valued at listed price.

Complaint: To Whom It May Concern, Westlake Financial apparently bought the car loan for the XXXX XXXX XXXX I purchased from XXXX XXXX XXXX which is also known as XXXX XXXX XXXX ( both entities are owned by the same person ). I purchased the car on XX/XX/XXXX. I did not receive a copy of the contract when I purchased the car. Shortly after, I became ill and required the assistance of my mother to assist me with my finances. My mother made the initial payment using her debit card in XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX. When I was able to take care of my own finances, my mother questioned me about the loan terms of the loan and asked for a copy of my contract. So, we ( my mother and I ) contacted Westlake Financial ; requested a copy of the original contract, on or about XX/XX/XXXX. We were informed by a female representative, I would receive a copy of the contract via email within 24-48 hrs. After I did not receive the contract, I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX and requested a copy of my contract. To this day, XXXX XXXX XXXX, also known as XXXX XXXX XXXX, has not given me a copy of the requested document. We intentionally did not make a payment from XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX because we were waiting to receive the document I had requested ( contract ). My mother and I decided to call again and spoke with another Westlake Financial representative ( male ) on XX/XX/XXXX. We requested a copy of the original contract, once again and informed him this was the 2nd request for a copy of the contract. He assured me he would send a copy of the contract via email if I agreed to make a payment. He also informed me, there was a repossession order in affect due to none payment. My mother made a 2nd payment with this same representative on XX/XX/XXXX using her debit card. We still did not receive a copy of the contract but instead, a copy of the buyers order was emailed. Upon viewing the buyers order, I noticed there were 2 e-signed signatures on the last page and e-signed initials. I also noticed the terms on the buyers order were not the terms I agreed upon when I purchased the car from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I began to call XXXX XXXX XXXX to question what happened and why was the buyers order different and also requested a copy of my application and original contract. I still have not received the documents. On XX/XX/XXXX, I made a payment by contacting Westlake but turned around and cancelled the payment within an hour, after speaking to my mom and she informed me, XXXX XXXX XXXX nor Westlake Financial had sent me a copy of my original contract that I requested around XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, my mother and I contacted Westlake Financial and demanded a copy of the original contract and a copy of the original application. We informed a female supervisor at XXXX XXXX, this was the 3rd request for a copy of the contract. She apologized for the inconvenience and immediately sent a copy of a contract via email. Upon viewing the contract, I noticed there were singed signatures on the document. I am furious because this is not the document I signed when I purchased the car plus someone forged my signature with an e-sign signature! My question is why did Westlake Financial purchase the loan without a document that contained my original penmanship signature? My rights have been violated as a consumer!

Complaint: I had a car reposesed by Westlake Financial Services. I sent them certified mail disputing their credit reporting XX/XX/XXXX. Then XX/XX/XXXX ... I notified all 3 credit bureaus in certified mail I disputed Westlake claim. As of XX/XX/XXXX they had not marked my credit file as Dispute by the Consumer and I asked for a completed deletion on that inaccuracy alone. On XX/XX/XXXX, I sent Westlake and XXXX XXXX a letter request documentation of the repossession and the so called Redeemed Repossession .... neither company responded. As I have the original contract and wanted to calculated the correct amount owed or needed to be refunded. On XX/XX/XXXX ... I ask all 3 credit bureaus to delete on the inaccurate reporting and various DATE OF STATUS ... .They are reporting 3 different dates of status ... ... which in turn affects the time this derogatory items comes off my credit file. They never marked this account DISPUTED ... I am challenging the so called Redeemed Repossession ... and the fluctuating balances.By them reporting this INACCURATELY ... I am faced with a poor credit score, economic loss and misery that come along with bad credit ... denial of credit, lost opportunity to receive credit, degraded social standing and emotional distress.They Failed to comply with the requirements of the FCRA ... and they fail to comply with the requirements in 15 USC 1i and fail to comply with the requirements in 15 USC 1g ... so I am asking for a completed REMOVAL FROM ALL 3 CREDIT BUREAUS.

Complaint: My payment for my auto loan was due and I made a payment on XX/XX/18 for {$460.00}, I wasnt sure if I submitted the correct account so I made another payment to be sure with the correct account for the same amount for {$460.00}. The next Day XX/XX/18 I called to let them know what happened, they told me to go ahead and make a THIRD payment and that the other two would be CANCELED. So on XX/XX/18 i made a 3rd payment for XXXX, the next day- all three payments had been processed including the wrong account and I was charged a {$25.00} NSF FEE. I called to get this reversed they told me the extra payment would be refunded and the {$25.00} would be removed. I called they told me it would take 2 days, I waited until Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and NOTHING. I have called every single day and have called my bank to confirm this and nothing has been refunded to my account. I have asked for them today overnight my check and they said they are not going to waste money on shipping. I called today asking for this amount to be credited back and to confirm whether or not the money was refunded I was told to wait until next week. I am not sure why I am being scammed and given the run around everytime I call. I keep being told different things every time I call and have spoken with XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, and XXXX XXXX. This is not including all of the others that I have spoken to along the way. Today I was told I never made any payment but I have the double transaction showing on my account and I have the confirmation number for all three payments made. Please please help me with this

Complaint: Westlake financial has me on a auto loan that I never signed for it belongs to my ex fianc which knew all my information so I'm guessing the car lot let him add me to the loan as a co applicant without my knowledge. I spoke with them and they told me to dispute it and they would take it off. I disputed and they didn't take it off even after explaining the situation. This needs to be removed off of all three of my credit reports because I will take this as far as I can.
