Complaint: i have a vehicle financed by XXXX XXXX XXXX. I am receiving several phone calls from them on a daily basis every time I am late on my payment. Even the day payment is due including Saturday 's and Sunday 's starting as early as XXXX est up until XXXX. I advised them that my payment will there a few days after the due date and they still call me several times in a day. I asked if I can get my due date changed to coincide with my pay date and was advised that they could not change the date. did not give me a reason.

Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX Date of purchased/deliver XX/XX/XXXX vin # XXXX Tag # XXXX Describe your complaint : I purchased a vehicle at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Fl XXXX and Westlake Financial Services were the financial institution for the loan. When the car was purchased they had to jumpstart the vehicle in order to take it out of the dealership. They stated that the vehicle had a new battery and that they didnt start their vehicles often. That I should not worry about it and if that something happened they will take care of it at no extra cost. About five days later happened again at the house. They came to the house and jump started. The day after they replaced the battery. Then, on the XXXX of XXXX happened again. I purchased a box to jumpstart the vehicle and went to the dealership and informed them of the situation. They stated after checking the vehicle that is nothing wrong with the vehicle. And they told me that if happened again to bring it back to check it again. On the XXXX of XXXX the car did not want to start again. I took the vehicle to the dealer and left a letter about my disappointment of the vehicle, their lack of service in finding the problem and requesting them to solve that issue and other problems that the vehicle already had. The owner of the dealership call my husband very disrespectful stating that we couldnt bring the vehicle to the dealer every day. That they have a business to run and that we were interfering with their daily business. That their recommendation was for us to take it to an authorized XXXX dealership and have the vehicle diagnose at our own pocket. The owner of the dealership did not read the letter that I left there. My husband called him again at XXXX and the owner stated that he did not read the letter and that he was going to read it on Monday. Meanwhile the vehicle did not want to start on Sunday again. But this time when it was jumpstarted the signal lights and the headlights did not want to come up. Today the vehicle did not want to start again. Talk to the owner and he stated that since we had the vehicle over 30 days that he could not switch us to another vehicle nor cancel the sales agreement, that if we return the vehicle our down payment will be forfeited and that it will count as a volunteer surrender of the vehicle. I tried to get a mutual agreement with the dealership of them to keep the down payment and return the faulty vehicle. I contacted more than 20 times to Westlake Financial and asked to speak with the compliance dealership department and they refuse to transfer the call. With the representative that I have spoke they tell me that there is nothing from them to do unless the vehicle have an engine or transmission problems but they do not guarantee the cancellation of the loan. Tonight I asked them to find a supervisor and they denied me to speak to anybody else. Also, I asked for the name of the agency that regulates them and the representative said that she did not have that info nor transfer the call to somebody that could help. The vehicle has being 25 days in an auto shop and they can not find what is wrong with it. I hope by me contacting the relevant agencies that this issue can be solve since neither Westlake nor XXXX XXXX XXXX are doing anything solve it.

Complaint: I have submitted a previous complaint about this company, XXXX XXXX XXXX, and never heard back. During that time, my husband suffered a XXXX XXXX and I was focused on other things, so when I finally checked on the status of the complaint, they had closed it. Their response stated that my name was not on the loan and so they couldnt talk to me, even though I had submitted a P.O.A. previously. I had called them dozens of times trying to resolve this matter to no avail. We had MORE THAN repaid the loan, but with interest being raised to 90 %, I could never catch up. I ended up giving them back our car rather than have to deal with these people. I basically let it drop, but decided to contact them again about 4 weeks ago. I got an email response again saying they couldnt talk to me. I immediately emailed them a copy of my P.O.A. for my husband and have not heard back from them. I have emailed them about 4 times, never hearing back. What they did was unconscionable at a time when all I wanted to do was resolve the situation and my husband could not talk due to his XXXX. The details were in my original complaint that I have attached. I really hope you can help, not just for us, but for others in the same situation. Very sad to be so taken but what seemed like a reputable company.

Complaint: Hello, Sorry if this is the wrong section. I've been trying to get my refund back from XXXX XXXX XXXXWestlake Financial Company for about four months now and feel like neither side is really trying to help me, and just hoping I let it go. I received an extended warranty from Westlake Financial Group/XXXX XXXX with purchase of a Used Car. The car got in an accident, was determined totaled, and was covered partially by my Insurance Company. After that, I realized I had the extended warranty on a car I no longer had, so I attempted to get a refund from Westlake. I spoke to them and they explained they could give me a pro-rated refund, part of it being covered by Westlake and part of it being covered by the dealership ( XXXX XXXX ) Westlake financials processed my refund without any issue, however I've been having trouble trying to get the dealership to honor their side of the refund. According to the dealership, they had sent a check to westlake financial group and at this point have done what they need to do. According to westlake, I've heard two different things that happened ( from different people, so I'm not sure which is true ). One person said that the refund was sent, but because the person handling my account no longer worked for the company, the refund was never processed. Another person said that when the refund was sent, the dealership had insufficient funds in their account, so it was never processed. I'm not sure which is true, and my attempts to put together a call between myself, Westlake, and XXXX XXXX have been unsuccessful. Westlake has said they'd call me back on numerous occasions and they haven't and the dealership has told me to get Westlake on the phone and to call him and we'll figure it out, otherwise he's not really listening to me. At this point I'm tired of calling Westlake and getting false hope, and I'm tired of calling the dealership and being spoken over. Additionally, I've sent Westlake financial multiple emails about this issue, some which don't get responded to and others which don't really address my specific situations. I recently tried to call Westlake today, but my call didn't go through. Per an email with Westlake on XX/XX/XXXX, here are the warranty amounts : Your warranty refund amount due is {$970.00}. ( WFS portion XXXX was already subtracted towards your principle last XX/XX/XXXX ). Were still waiting for the Dealer Portion {$600.00}.

Complaint: I recently filed a dispute with XXXX because there is an istallment loan reported on my credit report for a vehicle from west lake finiacal that I never recieved if you read the dates on the loan and call west lake finiacial they will tell you that the deal was never funded because the dealer was trying to sell me a vehicle that was wrecked and damage I went ahead and cancel the transaction so the dealer is reporting to the credit beuraus as paid by dealer and because of this my credit score is extremely low affecting me getting a job, a house or any future funding the XXXX report number is XXXX please help me get this item removed from my credit report.

You didnt addressed my complaint if you look at my credit report it shows that in XX/XX/XXXX,XX/XX/XXXX,XX/XX/XXXX I made payments on this car that information is falsified. Show me my payment history. They made {$1.00} payments to keep this automobile in statue. I dont know what I owe. I dont think I owe anything. Ive been given several different amounts and it was XXXX then it was XXXX and now its reflecting as XXXX on my XXXX. I have not made any payments since XXXX or XXXX the car was sold to me as a total out vehicle. Check and see wasnt that car totaled by checking the VIN # and youll find out that XXXX XXXX was paid by Insurance Company and Westlake. They should go after them. I spent over 5,000.00 in repairs on this car only to find out they shouldnt have never sold me that vehicle. On top of that Westlake is also shady they have been making payments on this account as though I was making them. Please investigate this to the fullest and you get to the bottom of the truth. I could have sent you those same papers but thats not what I owe, like I said if you look further you will find deceit on XXXX XXXX behalf and Westlake Financial. Thank you

Also they paid XXXX on this account monthly to start the Statute over and make it seem like I had been making these payments. Im upset that they would do that because I sent this car back in 2012 and hasnt made any payments since because the car I purchased was a total out vehicle. Ive explained this to XXXX and they refuse to look into it so that this account is removed from my credit report. They have reported 4 different amounts that I owe them and to think they would go to such links to try to solicit money from me that I dont owe.

Complaint: i purchased a vehicle from westlake financial i paid all but XXXX and they know i get paid on the XX/XX/XXXX of the month i am on retirement they call my house 20 times a day sometimes they hang up and sometimes they disconnect calls and argue over XXXX which i told them would be paid the XXXX of the month every month they called my house again at XXXX XXXX waking upo the grandkids and they call right up to XXXX XXXX my time isnt that way to late to call. i want it to stop stop harrassing me over XXXX and i told them the XXXX of everymonth it is paid not my fault my bank sends them out the XXXX of the month. i pay all bills with online banking they get notified of the payment and have not called me til recently and frequently during the day it needs to stop. the car i got was a lemon i paid XXXX for a car that cost me close to 5000 to repair and to my surprise there warranty is not valid it doesnt cover anything and they new this car was in a flood and the back frame fell off the truck when my kids were driving the car there lucky it didnt cause an accident. stay away from XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX and do not ever go thru westlake financial both rip offs

Complaint: In XX/XX/2018 pulled my credit report because score was low realized that 20-monthly car payments not reflected on credit file from original lender ( Pelican auto Finance ) not one payment was ever reported. In XX/XX/2018 loan was transferred from Pelican Auto Finance to Westlake Financial Services. In XX/XX/2018 reached out to the current lender explaining 20- monthly payments wasn't recorded to the 3-major credit bureaus ( XXXX , XXXX, XXXX ). Westlake sent a written response stating there is nothing they could do about the current situation. My loan with Westlake Financial is reporting with the credit agencies, but it reflects a new loan as appose to an existing loan.

Complaint: Hi I am XXXX XXXX, I co-signed for my friend to buy CAR from WESTLAKE FINANCIAL SERVICES on XX/XX/XXXX. But car got stolen on XX/XX/XXXX, and filed the police complaint on same day. The car is stolen, and same information is passed to WESTLAKE FINANCIAL SERVICES. If car is stolen, how we are responsible for the payment?? They keep on reducing the my credit score ( initially, it is XXXX ) without contacting me. I tried several times to contact them, but they are keep on holding the calls for several hours, but ultimately no is able to solve my problem. Vehicle got recovered by Insurance on first week of XX/XX/XXXX. Now issue is Insurance company handed the car to Title owner ( i.e..WESTLAKE FINANCIAL SERVICES ) and the car is with dealer. There is some negotiation going on between dealer and WESTLAKE FINANCIAL SERVICES. In the Meanwhile, my CREDIT SCORE is reduced to XXXX and surprisingly my creditcard limit is reduced from XXXX $ to XXXX . It is not fair at all. I am not the owner and car was stolen and no proper communication services from WESTLAKE FINANCIAL SERVICES.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2016, I was involved in a car accident, which totaled out the vehicle. That same week, I contacted West-lake Financial, and submitted a claim to them to let them know what happened. My Insurance was handling the claim to pay out the value of the vehicle, and because I was paying for Gap Coverage, they would handle the rest. West-Lake financial picked up the Vehicle before my Insurance Company could send them the payment for the value of the car. This was also labeled as an Repo on my credit report, which in fact it was not. I have been on the phone with West lake several times, with no cooperation what so ever. My insurance company claimed that, because they picked up the car, they were supposed to contact them for payment of the value of the vehicle, and they did not.This is severely impacting my credit report, and i just need for this to be resolved.

This account was included in a Chapter XXXX bankruptcy, that was discharged in XX/XX/2016. Despite that, Westlake continues to report this account as an active collection account, and stating that I still have a liability with their company for $ XXXX+. This account should be updated to show as " resolved through bankruptcy '', and the amount owed should report a {$0.00} liability. What they continue to report is a violation of federal bankruptcy law.
