Complaint: I had an auto loan from Westlake Financial Services for a car opened on XX/XX/XXXX and closed on XX/XX/XXXX. There was an accident where the car was totaled in XX/XX/XXXX and the other drivers insurance paid for the car in full. Under my XXXX credit report, it states that the account is still open and an incorrect balance of {$5800.00} still due. I've disputed the accuracy several times and each time it comes back completed, no information has changed, and the account remains open with the same balance.

Complaint: I contacted Westlake Financial Services regarding an old auto loan that I paid off back in XX/XX/XXXX. While reviewing my credit score, I noticed Westlake Financial Services noted the account was paid, charged off. I contacted them to correct this as well as the times they reported to the credit bureaus that my payments were not made and explained that those dates reported were payments made on time and I was allowed to make payment arrangements later in the loan 's life. I was told to file a dispute. I filed several disputes with XXXX ( both online and over the phone ) regarding both the charge off as well as disputing that the payments were late. I attached a payment history I received directly from Westlake Financial Services as well as a letter disputing the information reported. XXXX not only did not correct anything on my dispute, they also changed the charge off date from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX said the only thing I could do was keep filing disputes. I contacted Westlake Financial Services regarding the change. I was told that the reason the charge off date was changed was because I filed a dispute and that they wouldn't correct the information. I already have an open complaint against XXXX for failing to investigate this properly especially with them allowing Westlake Financial Services to change the charge off date by 5 years. I would like to file a complaint against Westlake Financial Services as well.

Complaint: A while back in XX/XX/2017, I purchased an auto lease turn in of a 3 year old XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX The car had XXXX miles on it and valued at approximatel {$13.00}. I put a down payment of approx {$2600.00} on the car ... ... .I agreed to monthly payments but I didn't agree to make illegal State of California interest payments over the statutory rate of 12 percent or whatever the legal amount is. As far as I am concerned I am paying illegal interest payments of almost 30 percent. This is usury. When the car is paid off in 7 entire years I will have paid them double the money for that car approximately {$26.00} This is illegal. The State allows them to do legal business and charge interest of 12 percent. Why am I being charged double when I did not agree to be involved in no illegal rang-lings..

FL License # XXXX VIN : XXXX 2011 XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX The Financial transactions was Lien holder by West lake Financial Services XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX CA XXXX This Vehicle start problems on immediately after Last Week XXXX, Leaving me in the Road onXX/XX/XXXXXXXX first week, When I took the car back to them ( XXXX DEALER ) they was informed that vehicle chain change was completed in improper procedures and the Car need a New Motor, At this Point I call Insurance XXXX XXXX, they told me one of theirs Authorized mechanics will revise the vehicle. up to today I have not received any answer or resolutions to address this incident, However I did payment for the Vehicle XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX to the Bank West lake Financial Services. The Dealer advice the Car need a New Motor and XXXX XXXX XXXX refuse to pay anything to fix the Vehicle. I will like juts to know in this case if I purchased a Lemon Car what are my best practice to ensure my record don't get missed up with this Financial Transactions because I won't be able to continuing a payments for a Car I do n't Drive.

They run our SSN through several financial companies without our authorization, finally the only one that approved the loan was Westlake Financial Services. After a few days, we received the account information to setup autopay and we realized that my SSN ( XXXX XXXX ) was wrong, immediately I send them many e-mails reporting this problem and also making several calls to fix it but they refuse. Info : Westlake account number XXXX Our info : Main = XXXX XXXX SSN -- - -- XXXX ( reported OK ) Co-signer = XXXX XXXX SSN -- - -- XXXX ( they put another SSN ) So they never report my on-time payments to Credit Bureaus and my score shows no activity yet.

I have been calling Westlake Financial about record of my payment history. Finally today XX/XX/XXXX I receive a email of my record and what I own left to pay my car off was a total of {$31000.00}. I was surprised in shock of this Cardealer Fraud me for months that I never have know this. First thing I called the financial about the bills the only things Westlake Financial could explain for me to deal with XXXX. that why I'm here today. I know this for a fact that no one will buy a XXXX car total to {$31000.00}. I rather will just Finance a XXXX cars for that amount of money.

Complaint: I took out a used auto loan through XXXX XXXX XXXX with Westlake Financial Services in XX/XX/2019. I called the bank mid XX/XX/2019 to let them know that the vehicle was returned to the dealership because it was disabled and couldnt be driven. The bank was informed that I received my down payment deposit back from the dealership in the end of XX/XX/2019 and the dealership already started the buy back process with the bank. I called the bank multiple times to see why the account was still opened in my name, they wouldnt give me any information stating that its between them and the dealership. When I contacted the dealership I was informed of the dealership paying the loan back through Westlake flooring program that takes payments monthly until the loan is paid in full but what I want to know is why am I being penalized with an open loan in my name for a vehicle I no longer have that the dealership took over the payments to buy back. As per contract I do not have the vehicle, as it was never repossessed and when it was returned I didnt owe any money on it.

Complaint: Westlake Financial Services, XXXX, CA took my XX/XX/XXXX car loan payment and applied it to another consumers account. The money was deducted from my bank account so I did not realize it had not been deducted from my principal loan balance ; until it happened again in XX/XX/XXXX. I activated my online account and researched all payments against loan payments and found the 2 Missing payment. I contacted WFS and after proving with bank tracking numbers they correctly applied my payment to my account. I pay approx {$6.00} per day in interest. I asked them to put back 1 years worth of interest as the payment was missing for that long, as well as late fees, as they payment was not late, but for a year it my account was obviously not current and always 30 days behind. WFS opened a complaint in my name and told me for nearly 2 months the accounting department was trying to calculate the correct interest amount and apply it back to my loan. They would never let me speak to anyone in the accounting department. I reached out to WFS on XXXX, XXXX, email, and phone, and get the same answer. We are looking into it and please wait for the accounting department to investigate. I then contacted the XXXX XXXX XXXX, and WFS said I needed to wait for a letter they sent me. I never received the letter, or an email, or a phone call. XXXX sent them a follow up and they replied that I needed to give usps time to deliver their letter. 3 weeks and it never arrived, is plenty of time. I think they were playing the waiting gameas they knew XXXX would close the complaint. Which they did today, and advised me to file a complaint with you. I would like the interest accrued daily for 1 year plus late fees to be returned.

For some reason, I realized that there was a late payment on my credit report, I called XXXX XXXX XXXX and they said their system automatically put me on paperless billing, which I did not request. I was awaiting letter in the mail all this time just to find out their system had an error. As you can see, I have always had a stellar payment record with this company.
