Complaint: My personal information was used without my knowledge and because of several phone calls from creditors that did not belong to me, that prompted me to check my credit. According to XXXX and XXXX XXXX my personal information was exposed in both of their data breaches. XXXX, then confirmed that I was one of the individuals whose data was exposed twice this year alone. To date, I have noticed that there are several inquiries and credit accounts that were not requested by me were listed on my credit report. Complaint: I found information on my credit report which is inaccurate and incomplete, so I did contact the original creditor ( Westlake Financial Services ) through the help of an adviser for them to provide me documentation to proved that alleged car loan belonged to me. Such documentation requested were the complete copy of the loan contract dated and signed by me with all pages including the sticker which is part of the contract. I also requested the letter they allegedly sent that provides me with my right to redeem the vehicle, the notice of deficiency/surplus and the right to cure and reinstate the car loan. As you very well know, I am exercising my rights to request such documentation directly from the original creditor per section 623 of the FCRA, a federal law, a duty of furnishers of information to provide accurate information. I did send two separate letters requesting such documentation more than a month separate and I am yet to receive any response from Westlake Financial Services after 90 days have passed. They completely disregarded my request. Thank you and hope to hear from you soon!!

Complaint: I purchased a 2000 XXXX XXXX which was financed by Westlake Financial Services, LLC in XX/XX/XXXX. During a difficult financial period before I passed the California XXXX XXXX, my car was repossessed for being 45 days late. After extensive conversations, I was provided with a viable option to obtain the car back, including the waiver of repossession fees. I did in fact get my car back and paid off the loan in XXXX, except for a small balance representing the repossession fees ( which still had not been removed ). After several heated conversations with representatives of the company, this charge remained on my account. They threatened to repossess the car, but did not take such action ( in fact, the balance was charged off by Westlake in XXXX ). In XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from Westlake/Redress Administrator along with a check for {$180.00}, in connection with the Consent Order that Westlake Financial Services, LLC entered into with the CFPB ( File # XXXX ). I was identified as Group B in the letter. I reached out to Westlake in XXXX of XXXX and spoke with Mr. XXXX who advised me " well I'm not just giving you your title ; you have to pay something '' and falsely claimed that I received a refund check for interest ( I have in fact read the Consent Order in its entirety ). Mr. XXXX tried to make me pay {$230.00} to obtain my car title and refused my request to speak with a supervisor. He advised me that my only recourse was to send a letter to the charge off department. I subsequently sent a letter and received no response. On XX/XX/XXXX I finally got a supervisor on the phone ( XXXX XXXX ) who advised me to email all documentation to him so he could personally address the matter. When I called today ( XX/XX/XXXX ) I was transferred to a representative named XXXX XXXX who refused to transfer me to Mr. XXXX and insisted that I should have taken the check I received to pay them and demanded that I pay them in full. He also stated that the Consent Order did not apply to me. Westlake Financial Services, LLC is holding my car title XXXX. While I purchased a new car last year ( directly through XXXX ), I am unable to do anything with the 2000 XXXX because of their egregious practices.

Complaint: I have my car loan through Westlake Financial, Any time you are even a minute late on your payment ; even if you call them, explain why youre late, tell them when to expect youll make your account current - even after you ask them to limit the calls .... they call non-stop. Anywhere from 6 to as much as 10 times for the day. Equal calls one behind the other to my home and cell phone. Even to my old job where I have not worked for almost 2 years! Most of the time when I pick up its in the middle of a recording or it rings and hangs up. When I do get a person, its a few moments after asking hello multiple times as if it auto dialed me. This company, has also repossessed my car in the past. I was only 2 weeks late, I spoke with them about it, my monthly payment is {$410.00} but at the time I only owed a remainder of {$120.00}. It cost me {$700.00} plus another fee they put on the back end of my loan, to get my car back. Because we paid quickly, they assured us it would not appear on my credit score and it did. I was tanked by -100 points! Devastating! This company has ruined my life. Subprime loans should be illegal. I have begged to have my monthly amount lowered due to extreme hardship, I have done everything in my power and they have just repossessed my vehicle again. My payoff quote far exceeds what my contract is for ... its an extra {$7000.00} dollars on top of what the car is worth and even then, it wasnt worth what I agreed to. ( {$18000.00} ) The agents are nice until you are behind. Ive had a girl badger me and continue to interrupt me asking why didnt you just pay your car note?! Repeatedly!

Complaint: Honor Finance sold me a car with recalls and engine problems. 2 days after I bought the car, my XXXX came.I called the dealership where i got the vehicle from and explained the engine problems and recalls on the vehicle, the dealership did nothing to fix my vehicle and advised me to call the Finance company " Honor Finance ''. When I called to report the XXXX information, they said the dealership should fix it, contact the person who sold you the car. When I contacted the man that sold me the car, ( XXXX XXXX ) he said when the Finance company Honor Finance call me, tell them the car is running fine, he tells me, " just tell them that over the phone, I'll get your car fixed ''. When Honor Finance called me I explained to them the car has trouble and it's not safe to drive. The finance company continue to process my loan and I got stuck with the vehicle for almost a year with major problems and recalls so I reported the company to DMV. After I made my complaint with DMV I called Honor Finance and asked them to pull up the recorded conversation of me 2 days later telling them the vehicle is recalled and not safe, they refuse to pull up ANY recorded conversation, in facts they said they cant find that conversation on file at all, mind you " ALL CALLS ARE MONITORED AND RECORDED " so they say. Come to find out the same car dealership ( XXXX XXXX ) sold another vehicle with problems, to one of my friends so now there's two complaints with DMV from the same dealership I haven't got a response back from DMV. So I made a complaint on the Finance Company, Honor Finance. The company is still under investigation at this point. At some point the XXXX Dealership contacted me and legally advised me to dont drive the car, or bring it in so the DEADLY AIRBAG RECALL can get repaired. XXXX put me in a rental for over 30days, even after ONE recall was repaired, I still had 2 more that needed replacement but no replacement was available. After I got my vehicle back the next recall on my car involved the shifting gears. I was never able to shift gears without a 5 min. Delay. This vehicle was a death trap and a hazard to my children and I from day one. Honor Finance has went out of business for selling fraudulent vehicles to people and processing overly high loans on vehicles with a 10 day shelf life. Westlake portfolio management has taken over the contracted loans. Westlake portfolio management is sending me letters stating that they will close my account if I give them {$900.00} if I do not pay this amount they will contact the IRS and proceed with the full balance which is {$4500.00} I've made several complaints to DMV about this company. Westlake Financial is doing the same thing to me asking and requesting for money or they will send this information to IRS. Please help me I no longer have the vehicle they came and picked it up. I do not want any more letters in the mail I do not want any financial responsibility to this vehicle that I no longer have, that was obviously a problem from the day I got it, I have two complaints on file with DMV about these issues. Iam a single parent of XXXX children. XXXX of my children is XXXX and now I have fallen ill from a XXXX XXXX. I'm beyond stressed and overwhelmed due to the harrassment, I'm even more disappointed that I wasn't getting the proper help I've been searching for to resolve this matter within 3years time span. This needs to end today. Please help me.

Complaint: I thought I had paid off my truck loan on the XX/XX/2019. The company sent me a bill that stated my payoff was {$47.00} by the XX/XX/XXXX, so I paid that day the XX/XX/XXXX by debit card for {$47.00}. I checked my bank account and it stated pending transaction, I had over {$5000.00} in the account. I received a phone call yesterday XX/XX/XXXX stating I owed a past due amount of {$160.00} with no late fees!? I called and stated that I had paid off the loan on the XXXX for {$47.00}, but when I went to get the proof of the payoff from my account there was no transaction on my statement. Now they say I have to pay the {$160.00}, what if anything can I do in this situation?

XX/XX/XXXX a bill/due date in the amount of {$990.00} that differs from the principal but without detailed, itemized expenses. XX/XX/XXXX late charge of {$30.00} that should not have been assessed. XX/XX/XXXX a final payment of {$240.00} was made which was the amount that a Westlake representative stated was the remaining amount due. According to the payment history sent by Westlake on XX/XX/XXXX, there is a balance of {$16.00} that was remaining but there is no bill/due date noted that shows at any time any representative of Westlake either by mail or telephonically informed me of the {$16.00} balance. XX/XX/XXXX notes that the account was noted as a Charge Off even though the loan had been completely paid off via the amount Westlake stated on XX/XX/XXXX and I was never notified of a remaining balance of {$16.00}. XX/XX/XXXX notes an additional repossession expense charge off in the amount of {$400.00} that should not have been assessed as it was previously paid and again not in the stated pay off amount, via Westlake Financial on XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX late charge off fees of {$120.00} that should not have been assessed. XX/XX/XXXX non sufficient funds fee/charge off fees of {$25.00} that should not have been assessed. XX/XX/XXXX interest fees/charge off of {$.00} that should not have been assessed. In addition, the amounts paid on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX equates to a total of {$1000.00} which is greater than the final bill/due date that was sent on XX/XX/XXXX and stated a final payment of {$990.00}. This was the last bill/payment request that Westlake Financial mailed to me. On or around XX/XX/XXXX the paid off vehicle that this loan was secured on was traded in to XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, VA. Legal ownership of the vehicle then transferred. The XX/XX/XXXX payment in the amount of {$560.00} should not be represented on my financial history account as the final payment as made on XX/XX/XXXX, the vehicle was sold to the dealership on or around XX/XX/XXXX, thus I was no longer the legal owner or in possession of the vehicle on XX/XX/XXXX. This payment activity transpired 9 months after legal ownership had transferred.

Complaint: Im in the XXXX, I got this car for 21 % arp, which the Finance guy at the dealership said I would be able to refinance in 6 months. Listening to my brother I was fine with bitting the bullet for 6 months with a payment of {$440.00} each month. The dealership didnt have in my packet that I was XXXX XXXX so this I got the loan off of for XXXX for my car was charging at 21 % which one day I was told they didnt even have In my loan that I was XXXX and if I gave them my XXXX XXXX orders that I Would qualify for lower interest rates. Since months go by I try to put in a request and receive nothing back from them in the mail or email. Calling them about 2 times every week to see if there is any progress with and after about 4 months of going back and fourth Im done paying and I want my payment lowered this company keeps giving me the run around Im done
