Complaint: Westlake Financial Services is subprime auto lender which illegally harrasses customers. The minute your payment is late they repeatedly robocall from hundreds of different phone numbers. Couple months ago they called my cousin also my boss and credit reference and discussed my late payment without my permission. I expected bad service with my credit situation but this is beyond acceptable behavior. CFPB fhas already filled consent order for these practices but they continue to violate every right afforded by your agency.

Complaint: I have wrote to all Credit Bureau to have this debt with West Lake Financial removed from my credit report. This debt is over seven years and West Lake Financial is reporting it as a new debt and placing it back on my credit after removed. I never agreed to a payment arrangement on this with West Lake Financial because I'm unable to work and the bill is over seven years old. It is a violation of law for a collection agency to report old past-due amounts as if they are new again. If an agency persists in reporting old debts with updated activity dates, I may have a legal case against them. West Lake Financial is reporting a debt that's over seven years on my credit report and hindering my credit score. I would like this removed once again off all credit bureau and not to be replaced again as if I open a new contract with West Lake Financial.

Complaint: Every month on the due date I receive 7-10 calls per day until XXXX at night from Westlake Financial. These calls are affecting my job and waking me up at bedtime. Complaint: Westlake financial has been issues with there online system for months at least for me now I'm behind trying to pay them cash at a XXXX XXXX store which costs me XXXX at a time. I try paying online dont work. Then they charge fees which I want cleared already complained XXXX and attorney generals office. I pay cash at small amount to make sure it clears at system. But to pay online it dont work. I've heard bad stuff about this company

Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 I received a notice of transferred services letter from my previous lender XXXX XXXX stating that effective XX/XX/XXXX the servicing of my account would be transferred to Westlake portfolio management services. My loan reached its maturity date on XX/XX/2019, however I still have a balance owed of a little over $3000 of which the following payments have been made to Westlake in an attempt to satisfy and pay the account in full; $XXXX on XX/XX/19, $XXXX on XX/XX/19 and $XXXX on XX/XX/19. I received a past due letter dated XX/XX/XXXX requesting the full amount to be paid. Immediately I contacted Westlake and inquired about the account and expressed my concerned w/ the details of the letter specifically where the letter stated that my vehicle could be repossessed. I was informed by the customer service rep that Westlake granted my account an extension until XX/XX/19 to pay the remaining balance. About 4 weeks later I received another past due noticed. I contacted Westlake again and was told once more that I had an extension until XX/XX/XXXX and that as long as I continued to make payments my vehicle wouldn't be repossessed. Fast forward to today XX/XX/XXXX and my car was repossessed at XXXX. I spoke with Ivonne the repossession supervisor and now the story they are giving is that my account was noted for the extension but wasn't granted, information that has never been communicated to me during my previous conversations w/ their customer service reps, and that she would be sending my account for review and if approved for the extension I would get my vehicle back. While I appreciate XXXX diligence to help I am very upset at the amount of miss-information from the lender and the situation I've been placed in is unfair. This company is a nightmare.

Complaint: I had a car loan from Honor finance was going through a tough time lost job and had a repo. I did not want a repo on my credit so i contacted Honor finance and made an arangement with them to pay back what i was behind on and that i would get the car back. I made my payments every two weeks to catch up i called to make my last payment to honor fiance to get my car back and came to find out the company no longer exists and that they claimed bankruptcy. Due to the bankruptcy my account was reffered to another company called west lake finacial i called them to make my last payment and get my car back to find out from one of there reps that my car was sold in auction and that they had no information of the deal i had worked out with my original company honor finance i am disputing the dept since my arrangements that were set with my original financing company were not followed on there end. I have emails from my original financing company of our agreement and feel as if i was being lied to and cheated out of my money.

Complaint: My name is XXXX and I have a Title Loan with the company Wilshire Consumer Credit based in XXXX XXXX, CA. I opened a new loan back in XXXX of XXXX with a balance that is logged of {$11000.00}. I've paid numerous of payments that is {$570.00}. Sometimes I split it and paid two payments to make the {$570.00} payment of the month. What I'm concerned is that it is now the end of XX/XX/XXXX and my current balance left is {$11000.00}. They have gotten thousands of dollars from me with no relief of my title loan debt and will be stuck with it longer than it will. Please help me and find out what is going on that they are doing these practices of NOT paying down your principal and instead paying into interest to GAIN for the company by making profit for themselves. I feel that I am not the only one going through with this. My vehicle has over XXXX miles. How bout if one day my car breaks down and I am still stuck with this debt. That is NOT fair. I need help and resolve this loan issue. I am an honest consumer and want what is fair. I feel like I'm being taken advantage. I'm a single mother and widow with XXXX teenagers.

Complaint: I have reached out to the Financial department of Westlake 's Financial Services to apply for my SCRA benefits as I am a XXXX XXXX back in XX/XX/XXXX letting them know that my XXXX XXXX start date is XX/XX/XXXX.
I have repeatedly called them because the interest rate and new payment was not applied to my account until XX/XX/XXXX. I have been hung up on by staff and supervisors when I request the break down of how my interest rate was applied. My command sent me to a financial counselor who called the company and spoke with XXXX. we were placed on hold multiple times with an end result of them explaining that they would fax the paperwork requested and that their record shows this was applied on XX/XX/XXXX. We have yet to receive a fax showing the breakdown.
