Complaint: I buy a vehicle on XX/XX/2018, I payed on time my first payment but on XXXX was difficult for me make a payment, my mam has a XXXX I use the money for emergency. After having spoken 3 times with different people about my situation, I am receiving calls from particular numbers of Colorado demanding payment, these people have my personal information such as my name, phone, address, social security number but I have noticed that they are in Colorado and the calls do not come from California where the company is, ask why you call me after having explained my problem with 3 different people, the answer was that it is the system and they can not avoid it. It is a very strong psychological pressure to receive 3 to 5 calls every day. So far I have a phone list of people who call me around 45 calls from different Colorado phones. I worry because what happens to my privacy has been violated, I do not know these people to receive collection calls but after answering they identify that they work for Westlake Financial Services. I am responsible and I will cover the 2 payments XXXX and XXXX, but it is incredible that the day of XXXX XXXX they called me 4 times. The most anguishing thing for me is how easily this company shares the information without my authorization, they have not received anything in writing from my authorized share my privacy. I send documents of the contract for its revision. Thank you If you need I have a list the all phone call numbers, please let me know.

Complaint: XX/XX/2018 Purchase for a XX/XX/2014 XXXX. Two checks post dated of which one check was honored and the other checked cancelled. The loan is now in default due to the cancelled check. Let XXXX XXXX know and they said no problem. Westlake Financial Services was assigned to the the loan in a separate letter attached to the contract. It states, '' Your contract has been assigned to Westlake Financial Services. During the next week, XXXX will contact you regarding your automobile purchase. Please make sure that you are available for this phone interview, which is required for the financing of your new vihicle. '' The interview never took place upon waiting for 3 weeks. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer on XX/XX/2018. The dealer said that could not be done, hence the keys and the car was left on their lot. What financial company buys defaulted contracts unless they are one and the same? Let XXXX be aware of the situation and they kept putting me on hold as they would contact the dealership. Complaint: Hello, On XX/XX/2018 i paid the last bill issued by financial and after calculating the fees in total i found out i paid extra XXXX $ They supposed to refund this amount to me by XXXX I tried to call them but every time i speak with an company representative they keep telling me that they issued the refund and i will receive it in 15 days The problem is they keep telling me this every week " we issue the refund and you will receive it in 15 days '' Last week i called and i asked them to send me the receipt witch show s that they indeed send the refund but they refuse to do that witch means that they didn't send nothing at all today my wife called them again and they say they will issue the refund and we will receive it in 15 days every time we call they sell us same story we issue the refund today and you will receive in 15 days Thank you for reading this complaint

Complaint: In the past couple months this company allowed someone to use my credit without my permission. I received alert stating that I tried to apply for new credit, which is not true. I tried to dispute with all three bureaus and this company multiple time to resolve this matter about this inquiry. Each every time they stated that it was verified, not true. They cant provide with any voiceover, my Driver License or signature authorizing this inquiry. They are breaking the law and putting a hardship on me and my family with these negativity.

Also, when I called the company they responded that XXXX did not send them all of the verifying evidence to confirm each account is unverified.

Complaint: I purchased my XXXX XXXX from XXXX and it is being financed by Westlake Services , LLC. dba as Westlake Financial Services on XX/XX/2018. In the last two months this company has not posted the payments to my account in a timely manner. They are processing the {$450.00} the day after it is due date, then stating that the loan payment was received late. I send the money by certified mail every month and can track the date and time when the representative signed it which was on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX. Apparently, this billing practice is not a concern to them. I honestly feel this is an example of predatory lending at its best. When I send an email or called and spoke to the people in the Billing Department, nothing is ever done and the problem seems to be progressively getting worst. Additionally, the payoff amounts do not coincide, as the one on the Billing Statement is much higher than the one listed on their website. Evidently, this is another red flag and should be investigated as well.

Complaint: I find out in XXXX that Westlake Portfolio Management is stating that I owe them {$7700.00}. Because XXXX XXXX company went out of business. I called the in XXXX. I spoken to a customer service rep. I told the rep. I do NOT know who Westlake Portfolio Management is so can you please send me documents connecting with this debt. He basically told me to just pay the debt we do NOT have to send anything. He was very rude and offensive with his tone. I wrote total of 3 letters. I wrote two to XXXX XXXX, XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX and one to an XXXX XXXXXXXX, XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX. I also send the letters Certified Mail Receipt with a signature. This basically said, I am disputing alleged debt. I would like the name and address of the of the original creditor, long with an agreement with my original signature binding me to the alleged debt. I requested confirmation of account not crossed the status of limitation Period ( SOL ). I need evidence of your license number and your registered agent. The company Westlake Portfolio Management did not send me NOTHING!! They wrongful repossess my auto ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) on XX/XX/2018. I spoke to XXXX on XX/XX/2018, he was polite and very helpful. I called back on XX/XX/18 and spoke to a supervisor in Servicing, XXXX. She basically said, Westlake Portfolio Management ( Debt Collector ) do NOT have to send me any proof of anything!! On XX/XX/2018 I spoke to XXXX XXXX, she stated, that it is under review. I get a call from they every morning now said you going to pay this debt. I asked they do they see the note in the system they say yes but you know this is you debt and you is going to pay it, Harassing! I did research Westlake Portfolio management. I know they do NOT have an license to operated in the state of Florida. I know they do not have the legal right to repossess my car. I know when they repossess my car the tow company ( XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX ). They give me a receipt after I PAID for my belongings. The receipt stated, the Lien Holder is XXXX XXXX! Now I know they did NOT have any legal standing to repossess my car. They ignore my written request to verify the debt and continue to collect. The requested was made in 30 days ( [ 15 USC 1692g ] 809 ( b ). They continue to collect on the debt before providing verification after receiving my dispute letter, the debt collector must STOP collecting on the debt until I have receive verification. [ [ 15 USC 1692g ] 809 ( b ). To top it off : On XX/XX/2018 Friday, I was called into my supervisor office to find out they have been calling my job repeatedly non-stop. My supervisor XXXX said, this must STOP. She looked it up while I was sitting in her office. She said, with in the last 3 days I got 20 calls from this number, XXXX. I called the number to find out it was them ( Westlake Portfolio Management ). I spoke to XXXX on XX/XX/2018. I specifically told her to call me at my number and had her to repeated the the number twice. She ignored my request and called my job. My supervisor gave me a verbal warning. I want my auto vehicle back in my drive way. I would like to be compensated for ALL the money I had to use and ALL the inconvenience that it cause me. All the duress and harassment that Westlake Portfolio Management has cause me, my family and my job.

Complaint: We had a car that was financed with XXXX XXXX. We had an agreement to close loan and release the title for XXXX. They received the money and then got shut down by the government. They sold the loan ( which was closed in XX/XX/2018 XXXX to westlake protfolio management in XXXX. I received a notice that my loan payments will be due for XXXX and to send to them as they are the new loan servicer! I called and called and sent in the loan release letter from Honor finance stating that I had paid off the loan. They forward to legal and said please allow 7 to 10 biz days to clear. That was in XXXX! It is now mid XXXX. My loan is in default showing repo status ( ont heir file and credit report ). I have called on about 30 occasions and they blow me off. Call center tells me that legal is looking at it. ONE person gave me the number to a guy in the legal dept. He talked to me 2x and now just ignores my calls and does not respond to email! I WANT THIS CLEARED UP. The car is gone ( insurance has it ) the loan is showing in default and it is affecting my ability to get another loan and my score!! I couldnt close on my home loan since I was in REPO status!! This is beyond rediculous and frustrating! Please help

Complaint: I financed a vehical throught XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. The company was reporting all of my on time payments correctly until XX/XX/XXXX. I still have the vehicle and i still make my payments on time but for some unknown reason XXXX XXXX turned over my account to a new financing company without my knowledge ( Westlake Profolio Management ). I've tried with no satisfaction to contact Westlake and also XXXX to update and correct the deletion or missing information on my credit report. Because of this my credit scores have dropped drastically. XXXX, XXXX and XXXX have been alerted of this but all three claim there is nothing they can do. I've filed disputes and yet nothing has changed.

Complaint: This is a complaint from XXXX XXXX against XXXX XXXX , XXXX and Westlake Services LLC for improper communication tactics and repeatedly repossessing my vehicle when I was not in default on the debt. On XX/XX/2018, we purchased a vehicle from XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$11000.00} ( VIN XXXX ). We financed the purchase through XXXX XXXX , XXXX. Over the next 9 months, we made our regularly scheduled payments. I understand that at some point during this time, XXXX lost its legal status in Arizona and the debt was passed to Westlake. On XX/XX/2018, the vehicle disappeared. We thought it had been stolen ; but as it turned out, XXXX/Westlake had sent a tow truck to repossess it. Because of the disorganization of XXXX/Westlake, we did not get the car back until XX/XX/2018. A Westlake representative informed me that the car had been repossessed because of a clerical error. Apparently their computer system showed another debtor as the owner. Because that debtor was in default, my car had been taken instead of his I was offered no remedy, and was assured that the problem had been fixed and there would be no further confusion. On XX/XX/2018, the car was again repossessed. Once again, XXXX/Westlake seemed confused and did not know the location of the vehicle. We were given no assistance in locating the vehicle, and had to do all the legwork ourselves to track it down. Fortunately we were able to retrieve the car the next day. We were once again informed that, there had been a mix-up with our vehicle and another debtor 's debt, and offered no remedy. Since the second repossession, we have been hassled by Westlake representatives with nonstop calls. We informed them of the mix-up between debtor accounts, but they will not listen. We told them that we had retained an attorney, but they refused to talk to him. We have asked for assurance that the money we pay toward the debt is going toward our debt, but they will not provide this documentation. We need assistance clearing up this problem. We have missed work because the vehicle was taken and live under constant stress because we are being hassled with dozens of calls from Westlake every day. We are scared that Westlake is going to repossess the vehicle again. We don't even know if our payments are paying down our debt or not.
