Complaint: I received a promotion from CapitalOne for a zero-interest balance transfer to my CapitalOne card. On XX/XX/XXXX, I transferred {$4800.00} from a XXXX card to the CapitalOne card. CapitalOne shows the transfer in my account on their website. Notwithstanding the no-interest promotion come-on, on XX/XX/XXXX, my account was charged {$63.00} of interest. On XX/XX/XXXX, I spoke to " XXXX, i.d . # XXXX, in Virginia '' at XXXX, the phone number on the back of my CapitalOne card. She assured me that CapitalOne was aware of the problem and was fixing it. It has now been almost a month since that call and over two months since the balance transfer but the interest charge has not been reversed. I expect to have another interest charge assessed to my account on or about XX/XX/XXXX. I believe that if the company truly wanted to fix this problem, it could have done so already.

Complaint: I was alerted by Capital One on Wednesday, XX/XX/XXXX of suspected fraud to my credit card. The credit card was originally a Cabela 's Visa ( ending XXXX ), however due to the XXXX XXXX XXXX buy-out, the credit card portion of the company was sold to Capital One. They issued a new Master Card ( ending XXXX ), however they still allowed purchases to be made on the old XXXX Visa, even though it had been ended.
The fraud was suspected to be {$320.00} from a " XXXX XXXX XXXX ''. No one in my household made that purchase. While looking at this, I observed one purchase for approximately {$100.00} had made it through. I called Capital One on the same day XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX EST, and alerted them to this. I was advised at the time both cards were now cancelled and a new one would be issued, and neither the XXXX Visa nor the XXXX Master Card would work now, and the fraudulent purchases would be resolved.
Upon looking at my statement today, another fraudulent purchase of {$94.00} was made to the same " XXXX XXXX XXXX ''. The purchase details show the purchase was made on XX/XX/XXXX and posted XX/XX/XXXX, meaning they allowed my card to be fraudulently used A FULL DAY after claiming to cancel it. They are now giving me issues in trying to resolve these purchases and I do not feel they are doing near enough to protect my information. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Complaint: I am an XXXX worker and came to US on work visa ( XXXX ) on XX/XX/2018 for first time. To start building credit history and confidence I was recommended that I should take a secured credit card by Capital One Bank. Currently I do not have any credit history in the country.
I applied for Secured Credit Card through Capital One Website ( application number : XXXX ) on XX/XX/2018. Capital One requested for additional information ( a ) Passport ( b ) Social Security to be uploaded online for verification.
On XX/XX/XXXX, I received credit card decline notice with justification that my address is invalid/incorrect.
I have all address verification documents with me like Bank Statement with Address, Lease Agreement, Utility Bills and Insurance Records with Address available, but still without asking for any of these documents, which are valid address verification proof, they rejected secured credit card.
I also validated with XXXX and there credit report also shows the same address which was filled during credit card application.
Due to hard entry of Capital One credit card rejection/application on XXXX Credit Report, other bank `` XXXX XXXX XXXX '' also rejected secured credit card for me with justification " multiple credit card requests on file ''.
Currently, I do not have any secured credit card / loan and I already got multiple hard enquries impacting my credit rating on the file. With this it is impossible to gain fast, reputed and good credit rating on my credit report

Complaint: Inappropriate probably illegal handling of deposits via Capitalone App.
Executive Summary, I proceeded to deposit a bank draft to my CapitalOne 360 Checking Acct, Deposit was successful as per their email communication instructing me to destroy the deposited check ( see Attached copy ), after 2 days the credited amount is debited, over the telephone they tell me " Bank refused payment ( of a bank check? ), they mail to me a copy of the check in their files ( see Attached ) that demonstrates a smear in the data transmission of the deposit via XXXX App, they request i resubmit deposit of the same check they instructed me to destroy ( again see Attached ), we continue over the course of 1 month through various escalations, to no avail - final position by a " XXXX '' that informs me they will not credit my checking acct. of the amount deposited for which they themselves sent me an email stating that the deposit was successful instructing me to destroy the check Bottom heavy infrastructure but " middle management '' as well in Customer Service with the arrogance of unchecked decisional power on one side.
On the other inappropriate handling of deosited funds, amounts inappropriately withheld - for this I believe this body or FDIC should take action independently and above and beyond Capitalone communications with me Specifics : XX/XX/XXXX : deposit of check using latest version of Capitalone XXXX App XX/XX/XXXX : e-mail communication from Capitalone confirming deposit and instructing me to destroy draft ( see Attached ) XX/XX/XXXX : deposit reversed and deposited amount debited, no communication to client XX/XX/XXXX : first interaction with Customer Service, " XXXX '', I ask for copy of deposited bank check intheir files, which they send me by USPS ( see Attached ) XX/XX/XXXX : last interaction with Customer Service, " XXXX '', in which he informs me their decison will not be reversed, furnishing no rationale or explanation Again, above and beyond Capitalone interaction with me on this matter, as prompted by this complaint with your Office, I request this body to proceed with a formal assessment of CapitalOne actions in this matter, that amount to inappropriate appropriation of funds following problems with their software I thank you in advance for your interest in this matter Please do note that the 2 Attachments mentioned in the text above, in spite of being of accepted formats and sizes as per your instructions, do not upload to your site - do feel free to contact me as appropriate should you need any further info or the Attachements themselves - Capitalone obviously has them and i requested them to maintain these records Sincerely XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX

Credit card company won't increase or decrease your credit limit
Complaint: On XX/XX/19 requested that an executive member of management ( CEO, COO, CFO, Director, underwriting executive management, etc. ) calls me back directly. The message specifically stated not to have an analyst that handles escalations or a manger of an executive escalations analyst to call me. On XX/XX/19, an escalations analyst called me, in which I refused to continue the conversation. I have attempted numerous times to resolve this issue with an escalations analyst and management of escalations and as of XX/XX/19 still do not have any resolution to the issue. In addition to the horrible customer service experiences with Capital One, there seems to be a major training issue. While asking the same question to different Capital One reps, all have provided a different answer in regards to same question at hand.
