Complaint: I bought a use XXXX XXXX car in XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX at 6 months I started having problems with the transmission. The XXXX XXXX fix for free because I had less than XXXX, XXXX miles on it. And then I took it to XXXX XXXX for an Oil change and then I started having problems with the timing sylenoid no car dealer wanted to tell me what was the problem in the beginning and XXXX in XXXX XXXX charge me aprox XXXX to fix one piece of my syneloid but there telling me my car is was going to still have issues turning off because there's another piece that needs to be fix but the car dealer didn't want to tell me. he said it was the sprocket gear and it wasn't .... I spent money for nothing. Then I finally found a good mechanic to fix and tell me the problem and is was the timing sylenoid. I spend almost XXXX couldn't make my car payments got behind and I call capital one to lower my payments and they dont want to. I told them I get pay biweekly and my car payment is not the only payment I got. And I was fine making the payments because at that time my boyfriend was helping with some money but now I financially struggling with the car payments and I just finish paying my car taxes in CT because if not I cant renew my registration. they still cant help me to lower my payments. I have called the bank to tell them my situation. Im a single mother and I really struggling making high payments. I pay XXXX every month plus my car taxes and insurance. I need help please I only have one income and capital one cant help me to lower my payments. I wish I can get rid of this car

Complaint: Recently, I, XXXX XXXX XXXX was contacted by XXXX and/or it's attorney ( s ) XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, VA XXXX in regards to engaging in a settlement for improper reporting that may have been done by XXXX. However, I, XXXX XXXX XXXX did not agree with the settlement and did not agree with what was being reported and/or was missing from my credit report. Therefore, the request is an effort to reconstruct the credit report of XXXX XXXX XXXX. Attached are receipts from two different Capital One Bank Credit Card accounts. One Capital One Bank Credit Card was discharged in a Chapter XXXX Bankruptcy. It was however in " good '' standing. The most recent Capital One Bank Credit Card was a reestablished credit card after filing Chapter XXXX and was agreed to be paid off outside of the Chapter XXXX Bankruptcy filed in XX/XX/2012. The account was paid as agreed until I was notified by my attorney to not make another payment because there had been a claim filed with the bankruptcy court. The account for that particular card is on the electronic check in the Re : section with the amount being paid as {$510.00}. The bankruptcy trustee report indicates that {$150.00} was paid to XXXX XXXX that alleged collection on behalf of Capital. This amount was in addition to the payment made by XXXX XXXX XXXX. The effort to reconstruct my credit report is to show that there was a positive history of paying creditor ( s ) despite having two bankruptcies that I was likely induced into because on each occasion my credit score was 650-680 or above going into bankruptcy and now it is likely 400 or less.

Complaint: Every other credit card company was able to help us in our financial hardship. They closed our credit accounts and put us on a five year loan to pay off our balance at half our monthly payments. {$100.00} a month credit card bills became {$50.00} a month and in five years we will be free of the debt. Capital One refuses to do this. They closed our account but continue to charge us {$70.00} in interest every month. After 5 phone calls begging them to help us we got hung up on. We need a five year payoff on our balance with no interest and late fees like every other company did for us. We can not afford the {$100.00} per month Capital One refuses to budge on. If they will not work with us on this we will have to file bankruptcy to stop the huge interest charges from them. They are heartless rude and cruel. If they wont help us I will be sure to tell everyone I know to avoid capital one over all other credit cards

I have contacted the business concerning these fees after multiple issues with being able to pay my credit card monthly due to issues with the institution 's mobile app and website. I called into the bank with complaints of technical issues on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and finally on XX/XX/XXXX. The bank admitted to its knowledge of such technicalities with its mobile app and payment processing functions, but refused to reverse the interest fees because it had done so previously. I have a longstanding relationship with this bank, and am shocked at its response.
