I got a derogatory mark on my credit report ( XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX ) stating that I had 120+ days late payments and that I owed a balance. I called the company immediately after noticing the derogatory marks when running my annual credit report. I had not received any prior notice for this debt. After speaking with the collection company I was told the letters were being sent to my old address. I paid the amount due in full and asked if I could have the item removed from my report. I would like that this derogatory mark is removed from all 3 credit bureaus. The balance is also incorrect and shows a high balance of {$1200.00} when the max on the card was {$1000.00}.

Complaint: I signed up for the a Capital One 360 Money Market account with offer code XXXX for a {$500.00} account bonus. I deposited the required amount between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. Capital One 's fine print states that they will deposit the bonus within 60 days. I have still not gotten the bonus as of XX/XX/XXXX. I called on XX/XX/XXXX and was told that I must maintain the required deposit amount as a balance. No where is that stated on the original offer yet the CSRs kept telling that is a requirement. Capital One is not honoring their sign up bonus by retroactively adding terms. Attached is the full page of original terms.

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX my credit card with Capital One was in a {$780.00} state of closer so I called to make arrangements which was towards the end of XXXX of that same year. So I began to make payments to lower my card debited amount. I'd noticed that I also needed to cut down on my uses of the card which I'd done that also. I began to increase my payments, here I'm thinking that doing such would lower the amount of the balance, but it didn't, it just seems like this balance was getting longer to pay off. After staying up until XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX this morning and adding up what I've paid into this account with the {$280.00} that shows on my new balance will total to be {$1400.00} in a 9 months span. I know what my interests rate is and this rate that I'm being charged is more than what I agreed to. Complaint: I opened a credit card dispute for a charge amount of {$2500.00}. for merchant XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The merchant breached my agreement by not providing services listed in the agreement. The NC state bar association is still investigating the attorney for wrong doings. I told Capitol one very clearly that all communication regarding this dispute is to be sent to my Florida address as I am living in Florida for part of the year. Capital one was requesting additional information regarding my dispute but, sent their request by US mail to the WRONG ADDRESS! Once I realized their mistake I called the bank and told them I have the information they needed and they said " it was to late they closed the dispute. '' I explained the dispute was closed in error since the bank send the request for additional information to the wrong address. If I got the letter at the correct address the information they were requesting would have been there on time. I was defrauded by the merchant and XXXX by the credit card company ( Capital One ). The case against the merchant is being investigated by the NC state bar association and they suggested I request a dispute until the investigation is complete. Furthermore a state judge dismissed the attorney from representation and issued me another attorney THIS WAS A COURT ORDER! removing the merchant and ordered another attorney. I can't pay for the same service with another merchant that's just wrong! The bank didn't care and closed the case and are not willing to re-open the case and make good on their mistake by issuing a credit or a goodwill credit. I DO NOT OWE THE {$2500.00} and MASTER CARD WOULD HAVE RESOLVED THE CASE IN MY FAVOR IF CAPITAL ONE PROPERLY HANDLED MY DISPUTE. Because of the negligence of Capital One I am requesting they remove the charge of {$2500.00} for their mishandling of my dispute. OR re-open the dispute and let the charge card company make the decision in the mater. THIS CHARGE OF {$2500.00} MUST BE REMOVED OR PLACED IN DISPUTE AND ALL INTEREST WAIVED WHILE THE CASE IS PENDING WITH THE NC BAR ASSOCIATION.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 I did a cash advance of {$700.00} on my credit card. I did not use my card after the cash advance. The credit limit for this card is {$1000.00}, which left me a available credit of {$260.00} when I checked on Friday XX/XX/2019. On Saturday XX/XX/2019 around XXXX XXXX I went XXXX XXXX Station in XXXX , IN and was denied a purchase of gas and windshield fluids. I called Capital One and was informed by the staff person, I had no available credit due to the cash advance and it will take five days before the removal come off. I informed the staff person I was unaware of this policy and requesting to have the hold lift. I informed her I was in a XXXX winter storm right now and needed gas, staff person stated there was nothing she could do. She stated I apply for a increase in credit and I would get approved right then and there and I would have available credit. I explained I did not want to run my credit due to me trying to purchase a house but I did it because I was cold and did not want to run out of gas. After filling out the application the system told me I had to wait 10 days for a determination. This is not what the staff person told me. This is not right I have never been late with any of my payments, I had credit that I was not able to use in this emergency situation. Please file my complaint.

Complaint: I have disputed the charge {$250.00} ( XXXX XXXX ) on XX/XX/2018. The amount {$250.00} had been credited on my account when I called Capital One customer services. It is a temporary credit while they were investigating my dispute charge. I have received a letter from Capital One and needed to send it to them with the documentation which shows the amount {$250.00} needs to be returned. I did send it to them without documentation. I had explained to them ( Capital One ) I don't have any documentation from XXXX. My ex-husband had spoken with their customer services. As per they said, the remaining balance which will be approximately {$250.00} will be credited on my account in 7-10 days after making the payment. The credit was not refunded from XXXX XXXX so I had called to Capital One to dispute this charge and explained to them all what I have. However, Capital One didn't do their job for their customer instead of resolving the issue. The temporary credit {$250.00} has been charge from Capital One. The reason they took {$250.00} was I didn't submit the document what tation they need. However, I have already explained to them but they have denied and rejected to resolve the issue what I have. If I have all documentation from XXXX, I wouldn't even call them to help and dispute the charge. I am not satisfied their services and whatever they have done was not properly for their customer.

Complaint: My complaint against Capitol One is below : I filed a dispute and was denied due to time. If you read the timeline below, I attempted multiple times to establish a delivery date of my item. Each time a delay was posted by the company. I agreed to the terms. It was only after the XX/XX/XXXX that I requested a refund from the merchant. Not hearing anything via email or phone I promptly filed a dispute with Capitol One. Capitol One provided a refund promptly and an agent left a message on my phone. Several attempts to return the call went unanswered by that agent. Capitol One then charged my account for the same amount that it had refunded and cited the reason for being lack of documentation. Although, this was provided to them within the given time frame. Agents for Capitol One would not attempt to locate the paperwork that I sent to them. The agent for Capitol One, instead required me to resubmit documentation and provide an additional letter. Each time the agent would respond to my questions with To be honest with you and continued as if this agent had already determined I would not be able to dispute my charge. The agent also told me that the first call that was made to my home phone was a scripted call, and the agent was not expected to call me back. I attempted to resolve issues with the merchant. I attempted to receive a refund from the merchant. Once denied I filled a dispute with Capitol One in a timely manner. I found no documentation within my CAPITOL ONE CONSUMER AGREEMENT indicating any time frame with regard to not receiving merchandise. I filed the dispute in a timely manner after having made an attempt with the merchant for the refund. As a consumer how am I able to determine a time frame on disputes if not given the information? Capitol One boosts protections for using their card. Yet, fail at providing those protections or providing information to its consumers. Capitol One did allow the merchant to accept a visa as deposit. As a Capitol One consumer I should have been allowed the dispute. Furthermore, the agent that first called me with a scripted message leaving a callback number, was not, and would not be returning my calls. This was confirmed by the second agent a talked to. I feel strongly that this was a deceptive business practice to induce the failure of a disputed transaction. Additionally, at the end of my final conversation with the agent I was not provided with any other dispute resolution or ways to have an additional review of the disputed item. Disputed charge timeline : During XX/XX/XXXX I made contact with a company, XXXX XXXX XXXX. During this time I had made arrangements for the purchase of a camper. After several emails I received a final contract and was required to place a deposit of {$7000.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX I received an email indicating from the merchant that the deposit could be made using several methods including a credit card. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a confirmation that my credit card ( Capitol One ) was charged for the full amount. At this time my expected delivery of the item was XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I sent an email regarding the status of my item. A return email indicated that the time for delivery was now XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX. I agreed to the wait. XX/XX/XXXX after a couple of emails I was advised that my item would be ready in XX/XX/XXXX. There were several emails and a general email sent to waiting customers that indicated reasons for the delays. In XX/XX/XXXX I inquired about my item and included a somewhat complaint within my email to the company. On XX/XX/XXXX I received the following reply : Your points are well taken. I appreciate your well-worded feedback. I will share your thoughts, especially re : communication, with XXXX so that we can better plan and staff for ongoing communication. Your math ( XXXX - XXXX ) is right. We build all our campers in order - no moving or skipping. I would only add that at the time of that XX/XX/XXXX email, you were actually # XXXX on the list as we were finishing up 3 campers that shipped a few weeks later in late XXXX. I was trying to be positive at the time noting that your order would be # XXXX after those 3 shipped. However, even counting those 3 campers does not dramatically change the rate - i.e. 17 campers vs. 14 ). I hope you can hang onto the end of the rope you mentioned. The investment we are making in production re-tooling and staffing this summer ( mentioned in XXXX 's video update ) will help us get your camper built faster than our historical pattern you noted. With this response I decided to give it a little longer. I really wanted my item and the delays were somewhat reasonable until now. The company had also posted videos on XXXX to support the things they were telling customers. On XX/XX/XXXX the following was provided : XXXX XXXX XXXX Friends, I personally want to share with you an update on our company. As many of you already know, XXXX XXXX joined us in XXXX of this year to re-tune our manufacturing. By early XXXX, after digging into all that we do and then dividing it into small steps, we concluded that a plant re-work & some outside capital would be required to execute and to increase the production rate. By early XXXX, we had our plan outlined, we were moving things around and we began work on a relatively modest capital campaign. The plant is now largely ready and were working with a group of angel investors to finalize the funding. I am happy to share that this is moving along well and were confident that the funding will close fairly soon, barring any external upsets. This new capital will allow us to fully execute the manufacturing plan and enable us to reach a point where the business will hit production goals & timelines. Our hope was to have the capital available prior to XX/XX/XXXX, but unfortunately that has not happened - largely due to summer timing ( investor 's vacations, etc. ) and the legal structuring required. Its a lengthy process that is more complicated than we anticipated. As a result of the timing and our limited cash-on-hand, XXXX XXXX, XXXX has reduced operations for a short time. We are operating at a minimum level, with principles only, and our focus is on closing the investment. We are all-in and diligently working to get the business over the present hurdles and to the next level. Once the funds are in the bank, things will move fast. We have multiple campers ( more than 10 ) in varying stages of build and the completion of those units through the new line will happen quickly. Suppliers are primed and materials will be readily available to start filling the front half of our assembly line as well. As always, production quality is our # 1 priority and we expect to ramp-up intelligently to build >10 campers per month. We fully expect to have every unit now under deposit ready to ship over the winter and all campers are being built in-order, with no exceptions. We fully realize that the delays and long build-times have been frustrating and disappointing and we live with this pain every day. Many of you have missed trips and postponed plans because of this and a few of our customers have cancelled their orders. Our past inability to nail-down a delivery schedule has been tied to the overall production situation - preventing us from sharing updates/schedules that were anything other than broad estimations. This ongoing struggle was certainly not our plan and we apologize that we have not met our own goals. We are excited to begin operating with set timelines and predictable schedules as we move forward. We hope that you will hang with us. A ton of updates and improvements have been made to the campers since those early units - and everyone will get the latest and greatest. After determining that I would not be receiving my item and feeling that my deposit had been obtained fraudulently. I contacted I contacted Capitol One in order to file a dispute in early in XX/XX/XXXX I filed the dispute with Capitol One over the phone ( Case number XXXX ) I was contacted by an Agent from Capitol One via telephone, and a message was left on my answering machine advising me of her name and extension ( XXXX Ext. XXXX ). I called that number four times and left a message with my contact information on XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. I received no call back. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter indicating that my account was credited and I needed to submit documentation and sign a letter. Around the XX/XX/XXXX I sent all documentation to the listed address in XXXX XXXX XXXX to include the signed letter. This was sent via the XXXX XXXX XXXX and was tracked and the items were received. A copy of the letter from Capitol One was included with the packet. This letter required my signature and included the case number. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter indicating that my case was closed because of the lack of documentation. I promptly called Capitol One and once again talked to people ( XXXX, and XXXX ) regarding my situation. I called Capitol One on XX/XX/XXXX and spoke with XXXX and then XXXX. XXXX advised me that my case was denied because I did not provide documentation. I advised what I sent and after a while XXXX stated that the documentation may have been lost at the facility in Utah. I was then told to submit the documentation again along with a letter indicating I had not abandon my dispute. This was done. Another letter was received from Capitol One indicating that my dispute was beyond the time period.

Complaint: Capital One Bank has refused to abide by Federal Reserve Regulations and National Clearinghouse Rules to obtain authorization in order to convert my payment checks to ACH. I filed a complaint with CFPB before, to which the bank responded by letter to me that it would not follow the regulations. I have paid all my credit card bills in whole but the bank has refused to deposit them and has instead reported me owing then, totaling over {$20000.00}, ruining my good credit. I am again filing a new complaint with the CFPB and, considering the bank 's written refusal to abide by the regulations, if the CFPB does not fine the bank at this second complaint when the bank again refuses to abide by the federal regulations I am going to appeal the CFPB decision to the Federal Courts of Appeal and name the CFPB as a defendant, and seek Injunctive Relief and damages. Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX my son purchased a flight on XXXX for his college trip abroad on our Capital One credit card for {$1200.00}. When I looked at our credit card statement on XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX it said the charge was declined. I called Capital One to find out what was going on as my son needed the flight information to give to his college, but they said the charge was declined and to make other arrangements. I went online and made other arrangements with XXXX to give to his college. I called Capital One back at XXXX just to be sure since there was a lot of money involved and I could still cancel XXXX. The second representative also assured me that the charge was declined and had fallen off and he could see that the XXXX charge had gone through. A few days later, on XX/XX/XXXX, I decided to check my statement and noticed that the XXXX charge was back on my card as of XX/XX/XXXX. I called Capital One to find out what was going on and to have the XXXX fee removed. They told me it would be easier to contact XXXX to have the fee removed. I called XXXX and they said they would refund XXXX the rest was nonrefundable. I called Capital One back to start a dispute since the information I was given by Capital One was wrong. They said my dispute was with XXXX, but I felt it was with Capital One. They said lets start by filing a dispute for the {$1200.00} with XXXX. I called back on XX/XX/XXXX to see how things were progressing but no information was available. I received a phone call from a representative from Capital One, on XX/XX/XXXX stating that XXXX was not refunding the {$1200.00} and that amount was being put back on my card. I asked for a manager and spoke to XXXX who is a manager located in VA who said she would investigate this matter further since I felt my dispute was with Capital One for wrong information. She said she would pull the phone records and get back to me by Friday XX/XX/XXXX. She didn't. The most recent letter I received yesterday, XX/XX/XXXX from Capital One, which again stated that XXXX was not refunding the {$1200.00} and that amount was back on my card. Again at XXXX I called Capital One and asked for a manager. After 62 minutes, I was connected with XXXX who said she would look into it but didn't have the ability to make any final decisions and refund money. She said a higher manager would get back to me within the hour. No one has called back.

Complaint: On XX/XX/18 I ordered an item from Kohls in the amount of {$50.00}. Order number:XXXX. I realized when I got the email of order confirmation that the address on file was an old address of about 2 years ago. I then called Kohls to inform them and they advised when I got the tracking number to call them and they would intercept the package and have it delivered to my new address. When she came back to the phone after placing me on hold she told me the package had been intercepted and I would be receiving a follow up email. When I got the email it said I had to contact the person now living in my old house like I am supposed to know who lives there. Long story short, I never received the item and was mislead by Kohls saying the matter has been taken care of which it never was. So now I am responsible for paying for an item I never received.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX 2 of my credit cards were hacked and sent to fraudulent individual. I called immediately on XX/XX/XXXX, spent an hour on the phone. They did nothing and on XX/XX/XXXX charges were made for cash advances. In the 20+ years with this company I have never made a cash withdrawal and they didnt find it suspicious. I called back on XX/XX/XXXX to again report the fraud and attemp to lock my accounts. Still got it wrong. I called again on XX/XX/XXXX and now all 3 cards are locked 10 days after reporting the fraud. Capital one does not have the ability to protect me from fraud and breached their fiduciary responsibility to me. They dont process information correctly to protect me, allowed fraudulent charges due to their negligence and my account is still available to accessible online so now I have to make call # 4. Completely unacceptable and moving all debt from this company as soon as possible.

Complaint: Capital one has charge back away more charges then what was authorized I have file disputes as including of our police reports of identity theft yet they continue to take the merchant 's word over mine and of charge back over 600 dollars of charges on my credit cards but they can't validate them. I show 2 in screenshots I has some information I show screen shots and they still reversed the the adjustments after I report fraud so they're not backing behind their fraud prevention. They have charged me XXXX for a website I can't access for jobs when I have a job. They can't show signature for delivery of something I allegedly authorized XXXX for. Tracking that says it was delivered and it wasn't. A plane ticket when they see I'm in XXXX XXXX.

Complaint: CAPITAL ONE BANK USA is harassing me claiming I have a loan with them. Over the last 12 months I've corresponding back and forth with them to gain clarity on a loan they claim is in my name & social. After extensive research I learned this account was fraudulent & I filed an identity theft claim with identity theft.gov. I submitted the required report to CAPITAL ONE BANK USA along with a notarized affidavit claiming fraud. CAPITAL ONE BANK USA is still claiming I have any account with them & they're threatening to send me to collections ... I need this matter resolved ASAP & would like CAPITAL ONE BANK USA to close their files which have any information with my name & social on it ...
