Plus the added {$41.00} for interest charged in 2018 looks like XXXX dollars in fees put me over the limit wow this doesnt look right

Other problem getting your report or credit score
Complaint: I added my husband onto my Capital One credit card as an authorized user. Capital One was reporting his credit scores until I called in about a balance that I ended up having to dispute. The problem was resolved with the balance, but my husband 's credit scores went from 700+ to XXXX. I contacted Capital One 7 times to explain the situation and they said they were submitting his scores and to contact XXXX. I contacted XXXX who informed me that Capital One was not reporting my husband 's credit scores as an authorized user on my account. I contacted Capital One repeatedly concerning this issue and they asked me to write a letter to their Discrepancy Department. My husband still does not have his scores being reported even though he is an authorized user with an active credit card.

Complaint: Creditor is reporting accounts that are invalid and unverified. XXXX have investigated this account and they concluded the account was not matching my records of being assigned to me. I would like proof these accounts were disputed per FCRA/ FDCPA. This is causing me anguish and its slandering my good name. Please block this account from my report so I can breathe again.

Complaint: I looked at my paid XXXX subscription today and I notice that a closed collection account that was once posting a {$970.00} dollar balance currently shows {$3800.00} due and a 514 % credit utilization SUDDENLY. This account has been closed for years and is currently in dispute. I will include a copy of the letter upon which they have been sent. I recently paid off {$330.00} on my past due XXXX and I had an 11 % utilization yesterday. I need to get a new vehicle and other things and these erroneous and fraudulent reporting schemes used by these companies are making it very hard for me to get my life off of the ground. What on earth could I possibly have done to ever owe someone {$3800.00} when I have never even had a credit card that would give me that much money to get into that much debt with. Please do something about this non-sensical reporting.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2019, I deposited a Cashiers check in Capital one bank. The check was from a buyer ( name : XXXX XXXX XXXX, phone number is XXXX XXXX XXXX, and XXXX XXXX XXXX ) because I was selling a queen bed through XXXX. The buyer sent me a check for the bed and movers ( {$150.00} for the bed and {$900.00} for mover, total is {$1000.00} ). On XX/XX/XXXX, I saw the money {$1000.00} already in my account. Even though, I went to the bank to confirm if the check went through. The cashier checked for me and said yes. And capital one sent me an email that Youve successfully deposited your check ( s ) into your Checking account ending in XXXX, and the money should be available by the next business day.
Amount : {$1000.00} Since the cashier told me the check went through, I thought the check was good. Both cashier and the email didnt mention anything about the money need 4 to 5 days to transfer or verify. Otherwise I would not mail {$900.00} to the mover. On XX/XX/XXXX, I mailed {$600.00} to the mover, XXXX XXXX, address is XXXX, Rhode Island, zip code XXXX through XXXX to XXXX and mailed {$300.00} on XX/XX/XXXX.
Since no one come to pick the bed and I couldnt get back from the buyer, I checked my checking account on XX/XX/XXXX, I saw the check pending for chargeback. I called Capital one bank and I was told the check was not right. But I have mailed {$900.00} to someone.
I made several calls to Capital one to complain because I dont trust the buyer, but I trust the bank. If the money was not on my account and if the cashier or the Capital one bank email mentioned that the fund need several days to verify, I would wait. However, I was told there is nothing Capital one bank can do about.
When I deposit a regular check, it takes several days to go through. But the cashiers check can get next day. I thought cashier check takes shorter time to verify. Now I know it is not verified. But no one mentioned it to me. I dont think it is my fault. It should be banks problem.

Credit card company won't work with you while you're going through financial hardship
Complaint: I have had these two credit cards for many years, but between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, besides my own medical and dental bills, I was taking care of my elderly mom and got my two Mastercard credit cards with Capital One maxed out. Approximately a year ago I requested that Capital One please freeze my accounts, stop all interest, and let me continue to pay on the principal balance. They would not agree to that. I also offered a {$12000.00} payoff v. the balance of approximately {$16000.00}, and they would not agree to that either.
I was on a plan for lesser payments, but ultimately they kept requiring me to catch payments up, including late fees assessed for not making full payments, and of course interest. The amount of interest being charged monthly is more than the payments I was making. I tried to settle with them, but nothing has worked. I can not afford an attorney for bankruptcy at this time, and their payment requirements are now beyond reach.
I was going to utilize another credit card for a no interest period, but my credit has been destroyed and my other card now has only {$1000.00} available, not the {$12000.00} I had available when this started with my trying to settle with them over the last year or more.
I have now paid so much interest that I have more than likely paid at least half of what would have been the original balance. I would like to see if you can help in any way. I think Capital One should have let me pay on the principal balance and stopped any interest from accruing.
According to our Constitution, interest is not legal, and maybe some day that can be enforced again, but I would ask at minimum that they reduce the balance due by removing all interest they have charged me, at least for the last year or so that I have been trying to work with them, and also late payment fees while I was making the lesser payments they agreed to..
They told me it would save my credit report if I made the lesser payments under their plan but obviously that has not been the case.
I finally stopped making payments because, as I said, the interest continued to be more than any payment I would make. Since discovering MasterCard is also providing funds for the invasion of illegal immigrants into our country by providing them with prepaid debit cards, it is my feeling that they should release all debt and clear my credit report.

Complaint: I received money from FEMA in 2013 that was given to Capital One, my mortgage holder. They held it until such time as I paid off my mortgage. They released the funds to me in the form of a check. However, they included my wife 's name in the check. This made the check impossible to deposit at another bank. I sent them the death certificate and information regarding my position as executor of her estate. They never reissued the check and I never received the money. They continued to redirect me to my local branch and I pestered them for it, until they closed. Now they no longer deal in mortgages and I have no idea where the {$30000.00} is.

Complaint: My mother died XXXX XX/XX/2018. On XXXX XX/XX/2018 I notified the credit card company to close the account which they agreed to asking me to submit a copy of her obituary. They said there was no need to wait for a death certificate. I complied. The outstanding balance was paid off and I believed all was complete. Her estate was due a refund of {$350.00} from XXXX XXXX and from them I requested a check. On XX/XX/2018 they deposited the refund to the Capital One credit card that I had closed on XX/XX/XXXX. Capital One accepted the deposit from XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX provided me a transaction number of XXXX. I called Capital One requesting a check for the amount and while they would not acknowledge the deposit they did say any money due would be refunded within 90 days. I called them twice but could not get details from them. This is the only outstanding event on my mother 's estate and I would like to be able to close her business but it has now been almost 120 days with no return of funds. I personally think they should have to include a 17 % to 25 % interest payment with the return since that is the normal interest charges for credit cards. Can you help me get this reconciled? Her account was listed as : XXXX XXXX XXXX Acct # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The last statement I received from Capital One was dated XX/XX/2018.
