Complaint: Capital One account number XXXX is claiming that I have a balance with them for {$11000.00}. Yet they can show no validation that is competent evidence bearing my signature that shows I have a contractual obligation to pay them.
Under the Fair Debt Collection Practice, they must show validation that bears my signature but they have failed to do so. Yet the continually report false and misleading information against my name.
And by doing so they are violating the FRCA & CFCPA because they can not validate the debt and therefore should delete the information from XXXX, XXXX and XXXX.
Capital One is in violation of federal and local laws and should not be allowed to continue damage my credit without validation showing my signature that I have any contractual obligation to pay them.
Please help me in resolving this issue.

Complaint: I sent a letter to CAPITAL ONE BANK USA NA asking them to have my credit card tradeline remove once payment was received and paid in full however the account does shows {$0.00} balance as of XX/XX/2017 however per agreement the account was never removed from any of the 3 major credit bureau and after 3 attempts i have not yet received any results and it still showes negative which is causing me to have a negative credit profile i ask that you please remove this paid but negative account from my report so that i may have a positive credit file

Complaint: I have a loan with CAPITAL ONE BANK USA N. I have always made my payments on time. For some reason I realized that there was a late payment on my credit report. As you can see, I have always had a stellar payment record with this company. I tried contacting both XXXX XXXX and XXXX and CAPITAL ONE BANK USA N with no successful resolution. XXXX XXXX and XXXX only reporting me late. There was definitely an error on their part. I was never 30 days late from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX.

Problem with customer service
Complaint: I have a capital one 360 checking account with an attached line of credit for XXXX, so essentially the account functions like a credit card.
The running ledger balance ( displayed by cap one ) shows a positive balance of XXXX yet it shows my available balance to be XXXX. I am pretty confident that the first balance is correct, yet when calling and chatting with Capital One they refuse to hear me on the balance and they keep stating that its an issue they are aware of, but then proclaim that my balance is indeed XXXX and basically brush me off.
It boggles the mind that this day in age a financial institution of their size can not accurately keep track of balances. This balance discrepancy has shows for weeks now but I only had time to call them today.
They are either unwilling or unable to give me my accurate balance. Why anyone let them buy XXXX XXXX is beyond me.
This company is openly stating that this is a problem with their system, yet in the same breath proclaim that the available balance is correct. They are a walking fraud!
They are telling me now, that I have to wait 25 days for them to respond with my correct balance.

Complaint: Ive went to check my credit score because Ive been doing good with paying my car note and went to see that theirs kohls credit cards, XXXX XXXX XXXX accounts that Ive never opened and other accounts that Ive never opened. I had my taxes done by a lady and she did them wrong which caused me to get rejected many times I went on XXXX XXXX and fixed my own and she got mad ad threatened to use my name so thats my only guess about whos been using my name for stuff that I had never opened or had knowledge of.

Confusing or misleading advertising about the credit card
Complaint: For the past several months I have come to learn that Capital One has been hiding/misleading I and possibly every other union member ( XXXX ) regarding Balance Transfer offers and fees. They have blatantly refused to honor the terms and conditions of their own terms and agreements provided with our accounts.
For each of my credit cards, one business and the other consumer, I have a standing offer to execute a Balance Transfer at the current market APR % rate without a transaction fee. This is not a promotional offer, and can be opted for use at anytime of my choosing.
However, whenever I attempt to execute a balance transfer online, the transaction ( s ) fail, thus forcing me to call into Capital One to process the transaction over the phone.
My call is usually routed to a foreign country where the agent 's accent is very thick and the person rambles through the disclosures in the hopes I won't notice the fact my balance transfer now gone from {$0.00} to 3 % of the amount being transferred.
Whenever I question this hidden fee, which again had not been disclosed within my original offer, the agent begins repeating the same canned response over and over, stating that there are no other Balance Transfer offers on my account.
Which of course would not be true, because I would be looking directly at the terms and conditions of my offer in real time within the dashboard of my account, which again states a NO FEE per transaction offer.

Complaint: This is my second complaint through your system with Capital One. My income has changed and prospects are good and I have been making payments - granted less than the amount due but making payments to honor my responsibility and yet Capital One has charged off my account like I haven't made a payment in months. I have gone through this with my other cards, namely XXXX, and they did not do a charge off in fact, I was able to get back on track with them and still have an active account.

Complaint: I have had a Capital One card for 10 years and paid it in full or close to it every month. Capital one cancels my card with no explanation. I call- they apparently don't have to provide me with an explanation. Fast forward year or two.. I get approved for the prestigious savor card with a {$500.00} bonus once you spend {$3000.00} in the first 3 months. I charge over 1,000 dollars within the first week and make a {$600.00} payment before the payment is even due- bam they close my account. Capital one will close your account if you pay your bill in full or make large payments that they are not earning interest on. It is disgusting. I have an XXXX credit score. I will never do business with them again. They don't want to give up the bonus nor lose interest. Last time I checked you were allowed to pay your bill in full. Unbelievable.

Complaint: Received a letter dated XX/XX/19 with case number XXXX for a billing dispute of {$73.00}, dated XXXX/XXXX/19 with merchant XXXX. Specifically, the letter advised to call XXXX by XX/XX/19 due to needing some missing information. Be advised, that I called this number on XX/XX/19 at XXXX XXXX, EST time and was on the phone for 7 minutes, until I hung up. Since, overseas agents are used to answer calls, the agent wasn't competent enough to locate the case number. However, Capital One has been provided with the specifics pertaining to this dispute, someone unknown to me, accessed my online account at XXXX and impersonated me. The merchant has already shut down my online account out of an abundance of caution.

Complaint: Consumers need to be protected against the lack of transparency by Capitol One, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX UT XXXX for the following : Unlike other major credit cards firms such as XXXX, XXXX, etc : Capitol One refuses to print on cardholder 's statements the expiration date of the promotion offer ( s ) that are in effect. Moreover, this expiration information can not be found on any online account.
Their customer service supervisor makes no apologies for this lack of transparency and informs cardholders that expiration dates of accepted offer ( s ) was mailed in the initial " Welcome Package ''.
This unfair policy by Capitol One is merely to keep the cardholder off-guard to the upcoming higher interest rates which is also unlisted.
Capitol One must be forced to be more transparent to their cardholders.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I applied for, and was approved for, the Capital One Spark credit card. Under the terms of the card agreement, Capital One agreed to pay me 2 % cash back on all purchases as an enticement for me to use their card. Because of this, I used their card for numerous purchases. All purchases were in accordance with their terms and conditions. Capital One paid the 2 % cash back up until they sent me an account closure letter, dated XX/XX/XXXX.
The reason for closure - We have observed activity on a past or present Capital One account that is not consistent with our expectations of usage for commercial or small business purposes.
As you'll notice, Capital One did not say they were closing the account due to any breach of the terms and conditions on my part. I used the card in accordance with Capital One 's agreement with me. I do not understand why they closed the account. I was never late for an account payment, and I used their card heavily, as I thought that was what they wanted, since they offered a generous spending bonus.
As of the XX/XX/XXXX closure letter, there were 18 transactions on the account that had either not posted or had not received 2 % cash back. These transactions totaled {$27000.00}. Capital One owes me {$540.00} cash back for these purchases. They have refused to pay me cash back for any of these purchases.
