Complaint: I was shocked when I reviewed my credit report and found late payment on XX/XX/2018. I am not sure how this happened, I believe that I had made my payments to you when I received my statements. My only thought is that my monthly statement did not get to me, or the payment was not applied as fast as expected. I checked my bank account and noticed that you deducted the money out of my checking account that on the month that you marked me late on my credit report.

Complaint: The issue is with my Line of Credit, I've added documents to show there is a huge problem when you look at the summary of payments for principal & Interest. There are payments made each month. When you look at your payments of Interest, you will see immediately something is wrong ... The payment is not set up to put an amount that is incorrect, or not include a payment of principal or interest. The entire payment has always been made & when I actually look at my account, there's some things going on that is affecting my credit & moving forward. I've called trying to get things resolved, no response or I got a call a couple days ago & voicemail was left it could take up to 30 days to get back to me?? That's when I registered with CFPB

Complaint: Wells Fargo rep by the name of XXXX claims to have made numerous attempts at resolution to complaints filed prior, I believe this to be false. The reasons are as follows .... They have denied my request for resolution which includes a refund of overdraft and other fees charged to accounts opened as a result of high pressure sales tactics to boost company profits by Wells Fargo reps. The refund amount, {$610.00}, was requested both in prior CFPB complaints and mediation requests. A total of five mediation packets were filled out, mailed in to Wells Fargo claims reps. A rep by the name of XXXX XXXX reached out, we spoke over the phone, a settlement amount of {$3700.00} was offered and never received. Additional complains were then filed with CFPB pertaining to this issue and issue of overdraft fee ( s ) refund, {$610.00} was requested again. It was denied, stating a check was sent and supposedly cashed which was never received. I did not receive any such check. XXXX XXXX would not provide settlement offer in writing, which I believe is shady and the reason for it is so Wells Fargo can deny they made such offer and not honor it. That being said I believe Wells Fargo is overall a very shady institution and should be investigated by CFPB. As for this matter, failing to honor settlement offer, a refund check in amount of {$610.00} will resolve this. The total of fees charged to accounts mentioned prior, opened as a result of high pressure sales tactics, is {$870.00}. I reasonably deducted prior refund amounts from this resulting in a total of {$610.00} which I request as resolution

Complaint: I have been charged a late fee in XX/XX/2019 by Wells Fargo because my payment was cleared before their billing cycle ended. As a result, they took the payment and applied it to the balance and did not count it towards my payment that was due on the XXXX of XXXX. Their representative stated this is clearly outlined on my statement when in fact there is nothing. According to her, my payment needs to be made after the close of the billing cycle in order for it to be applied to the current statement balance. In other words, if I make a payment on the first of the month, and before the XXXX of the month, Wells Fargo applies this as an additional principle payment and ignores the current amount due. They then charge me a late fee of {$38.00} and add {$1.00} of interest to the next payment. I received no notification that I had a late payment or an explanation as to why my payment was not applied to my account other than it was outside their billing cycles.
