Card was charged for something you did not purchase with the card
Complaint: First, on XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted Wells Fargo using the toll free number provided in the billing sent via email to dispute the charges and to let them know that the old credit card I had ( XXXX XXXX was closed on my request with a XXXX balance.
Secondly, I told the associate that I have not applied for nor have I received the credit card ; and, third and most importantly, I was not in the country when the card was sent and the charges were made.
The associate from the Wells Fargo dispute center told me that someone from their office will contact me within seven days to let me know of the status of my dispute. Instead, the company sent me a letter stating that I have violated the card agreement and that I am responsible for the {$XXXX} charges, late fees and penalties.
The outrageous claim that I violated the card agreement is that there were none to begin with since I have never applied for or received the card.
The charges were made in early XXXX when I was actually working at the XXXX XXXX to the XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I left for XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and did not return to XXXX until XX/XX/XXXX. The charges were made at bars and cigar shops, places I never been in my life.
Wells Fargo 's poor business practice has led to my credit scores plummeting from the high 700 to the mid 500s.

Complaint: My tenant deposited the check on XX/XX/19. Initially, there was a problem with the check. So Wells Fargo, decided to put a 15 day hold on the check. My tenant then got proof of funds from XXXX XXXX showing that the funds are in fact available and have been available since XX/XX/19.
My tenant, the depositor then faxed a letter to Wells Fargo showing proof of funds. Wells Fargo has continued to drag their feet in expediting these funds so they deposited into my account. The check is for {$870.00} and it's deposited into my account every month for the entire year - same amount, same accounts.
I have a family and children. My children depend on this money to eat and basic living. We're literally waiting on this check to clear so we can continue to eat and live normally until the next payday as I'm back to work next week. The attitude of Wells Fargo is " I don't care ''. I don't care about your family or when they eat. They are terrible in terms of understanding and expediting when necessary. My case number with Wells is XXXX. I spoke with XXXX XXXX and she told me it takes 24-48 hours to speak with her manager XXXX XXXX. I asked to speak with the CEO XXXX XXXX. There's no way to escalate to his office.
Right now, my children need to eat and we as a family function normally. The money has been available since XX/XX/19 actually XX/XX/19 but it was a timing issue. It is now XX/XX/19 and I'm told I won't be paid until XX/XX/19. Unacceptable - especially to my children who need to eat. Please expedite and send to president/CEO XXXX XXXX. I'd like a phone call from him personally. Thank you.

Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Complaint: I purchased a refrigerator for {$1400.00} using Wells Fargo Credit card, the refrigerator makes loud roaring sounds, I called the merchant but the merchant was of no use and did not solve the problem, so I filed the dispute with Wells Fargo and they gave 30 days to the merchant to respond, merchant did not respond in 30 days and Wells fargo made the credit permanent. Now after two months merchant contacted Wells Fargo and said that now they want to respond and Wells fargo opened the dispute again. This is not how it works, Wells fargo have a standard procedure and they should follow it.

Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX Dear Customer Financial Protection Bureau Representative, I am an XXXX XXXX old Woman, a 15 year Wells Fargo customer in XXXX, Nevada. I went to my primary bank the XXXX Wells Fargo Bank XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX to file a complaint. I reported a crime to the banker and manager on my savings account that was missing over {$45000.00}. The Bank confirmed the unauthorized ATM transactions over a 22 month period. The last unauthorized ATM withdrawal being XX/XX/XXXX of {$300.00}, 2 days prior to my complaint bank visit. I provided the bank with all my information and left hoping to hear the status of my claim in the coming days. The Bank did not issue me any case # with my complaint. After weeks of frustration with the XXXX banker not providing any status of my complaint, we filed multiple complaints with Wells Fargo to help retrieve my lost retirement funds and want to know how this happened and who did it. After 2 years of multiple emails and letters and grievance complaints, I received this letter ( attached ) on XX/XX/XXXX. Wells Fargo Operations Management Manager stated they reviewed the Savings account and no claims were ever reported on this account. Wells Fargo never investigated the crime or issued a case # for tracking or reporting. Today is XX/XX/XXXX, I reported this XX/XX/XXXX. I am still missing over {$53000.00} from my savings for almost 2 years. No explanation on the return of my funds or what happened? I have provided CFPB with a list of my corporate complaints and law enforcement information. No Claims? Wells Fargo filed false claims with no case number on file.

Complaint: I opened a checking account at Wells Fargo as a new customer on XX/XX/2019. I used a valid bonus offer code while applied the new checking account online and received the new account welcome letter along with Bonus Offer Disclosure and Additional Requirements. I met all the requirements that Bonus Offer Disclosure and Additional Requirements stated on 9XX/XX/2019 but I haven't received {$400.00} bonus as new customer opening a new checking account.
I contacted their customer support and they replied to me that " I reviewed your credit for the promotion wasn't issued because the requirements of the campaign weren't met. They enrolled me in a program to which I did not consent, shared my financial data with a third party that I did not authorize, started charging me cash advance fees when what I was trying to do was stop paying overdraft fees on my checking account to which I notified a banker to resolve and has not been.

Complaint: I complaint is the following against Wells Fargo 's response to this federal agency and to me.
One : In the response, Wells Fargo mentions that it waived the interest charge. This was only done because it told the supervisor on the XXXX that I believed the account to be closed. He then waived the charge and proceeded to close the account. Wells Fargo makes it look like it was a charity and good will on their part. The whole story needs to be explained.
Two : The author of the report did not listen to the entire call. This is a very important disclosure that should have been mentioned and reported in the report. This above fact in all honesty negates the report and incomplete and in accurate.
Three : The report states that they representative told me that their was a request on th XXXX for the closure. Again not the whole story. The fact is that I called Wells Fargo mad as XXXX that the account was still not closed several days later. I was assured by the supervisor that the account was to be closed later that day. I was mad because the two requests did not happen. This is not in the report. I brought up the fact that I made the request for this account to be closed not once but twice not the Wells Fargo employees.
Four : The lady in the executive office told me several times that they account was not closed in fact it was still open. She then went on to ask me if I still wanted the account open. This statement would not be made if she was aware of any closure requests because that would be a red flag to do more research to make sure that account was in progress to be closed. She further went on to ask if I wanted a replacement card and a new pin number. I told her that I wanted to account to remain open, but I thought that since I made the account to be closed request that it could not be reopened per Wells Fargo 's own policy. She assured me that it was open and their was nothing there to stop me from getting a replacement card and that I should receive that replacement card later. These facts are not in the report any where.
Five ; Why are these people making misleading statements to a federal agency still employed by Wells Fargo?
Six : Why are their 10 different letters from Wells Fargo employees on this complaint that states 10 different opinions?
Seven : Why is not one employee and one department working on this complaint?
Eight : The confusion about this complaint is not mine but on the shoulders of Wells Fargo.

Problem with paying off the loan
Complaint: This is same case ..from the previous compliant against Wells Fargo Auto Finance , the case nbr is XXXX. I got payment reports and letter from Wells Fargo ... same company, this is unresolved. There is no signature of the agreement to the 8 % interest rate since the banker offered me to refinance my truck for 6 % interest rate. I will have to check e mail from him. I will try to dig through my old e mail to find his e mail on the 6 % agreement. It is NOT 8 % I am to pay so technically, my truck is paid off and there is overpayments. I also will have to go to my storage in Texas soon to get the copies of the papers I signed. Wells Fargo shows you the forms with NO SIGNATURE of mine. So theirs is invalid.
This will be UNRESOLVED until I get the proofs. Wells Fargo is known to rip off a lot of XXXX including deaf people. On FB when I mentioned of the Wells Fargo bank, a lot of people replied their hatred toward Wells Fargo. I am not surprised. It happened to me now ... tsk tsk
