Confusing or misleading advertising about the credit card
Complaint: Received card - Terms were to make {$500.00} in purchases to get {$150.00} back - Also had balance transfer offer. Made purchases, used Wells Fargo App to ensure all transactions were posted to account. The app shows details like Transaction Date and Posting Date. I reviewed ALL transactions, and they ALL showed that they have been posted to the account a minimum of 24 hrs prior. So, I made payment in full, which posted a couple days later. I happened to look back at my app and it showed a new balance of {$140.00}. When I called Wells they told me that it was still part of my charges that were posting. I asked why they had all shown posted to my account via my app a full 24 hours prior, why would I still have outstanding transactions. The response was that even though they show posted to my account, it takes 1-3 days to HARD POST. Three separate levels of reps told me this. I asked if the words HARD POST were explained or even present in my Cardmember Agreement, they said it was. Upon a search it was revealed to in fact not be in my agreement and any language could not be found around hard posting times.
This is a deceptive practice, I was presented with a total balance, and confirmation that all transactions had posted, I made payment in full. Then a couple days later, without any further use of my card, I have a new balance. All this activity was well before any statement date, so if I had not done due diligence in checking my account again, I would have interest billed that I was not expecting or planning for.
When I asked if they thought that was clear to the Customer, I received a canned answer that it is my responsibility to review my statement each time. If I paid my account in full, with all transactions showing posted, and did not use my card further, all before any cycle date, why would i need to review my statement!? As you read this, I hope you can understand my position and why this is totally deceptive.

Didn't receive terms that were advertised
Complaint: Wells Fargo is refusing to pay {$400.00} bonus they advertised because they now claim the qualifying deposits had to be made during each monthly statement period not during each actual month. So for example in my case between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, etc ... instead of between XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, etc ... However, this is not what they advertised. The bonus offer clearly states " three consecutive months '' ... not monthly statement periods.
From their website : Within 150 days of account opening, receive a monthly total of {$3000.00} or more in qualifying direct deposits to the checking account opened for this bonus offer for three consecutive months. During this time, your new account balance must be {$1.00} or more.
I opened my account on XX/XX/XXXX and made {$3000.00} in qualifying direct deposits within 150 days for the consecutive months of XXXX, XXXX & XXXX.

Cashing a check
Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I, wrote a check to a friend for {$130.00}. On that date she took the check to her Wells Fargo bank branch in XXXX XXXX and cashed it.
A few days later the bank returned the check saying " refer to maker " and deducted the {$130.00} from her account. She contacted me at which time I pulled my XXXX XXXX XXXX statement that showed the check cleared my account. I have since received the copy of the check showing it cleared XXXX XXXX XXXX. When trying to provide the information to XXXX XXXX " Financial Crimes Manager " XXXX I was informed that she could not discuss with me because I do not have an account with Wells Fargo. The person I wrote the check to proceeded to contact the XXXX XXXX XXXX investigation unit and the response was that they could not help her, it was a XXXX XXXX XXXX problem. I have subsequently received information from XXXX XXXX XXXX, front and back of check, showing funds were wire transferred to Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo has neglected to provide any information that the funds were never received. Nor will Wells Fargo reach out to XXXX XXXX XXXX.

Complaint: I sent money ( {$1600.00} ) with XXXX from Wells Fargo Online account on XX/XX/2019.
Money was sent via email address to a person known to me and to an email address that I have used to communicate with her. The money was not received. I filed multiple claims with Wells Fargo Bank. I was on a conference call with WFB and the person I sent money to. WFB knows the person did not receive the money.
Wells Fargo notified me that the transfer was processed and there is nothing more they can do.

Complaint: I recently complained about Wells Fargo and a credit issue and although I disagreed with the company response in Case No. XXXX, nothing has been followed up on yet the company completely ignored the issues causing my concerns.
Wells Fargo DID NOT address my concerns yet merely did the same thing they always have done which is ignore my complaints and refuse to explain issues I pointed out.
Please reopen this complaint. They went through my personal bank account and went through all my checking statements, which I find very troubling as XXXX should only be able to look at my payments and statement from XXXX. XXXX Wells Fargo should not allow the review my personal purchases that have nothing to do with XXXX payments. I advised in my complaint that payments made to Wells Fargo XXXX were withdrawn from my account 'immediately ', yet on the statements they have dates that do not align with when the payments were made. Example, make a payment via the Wells Fargo app, the money is taken out of my bank account IMMEDIATELY ( say a Thursday ). However, Wells Fargo would sometimes post these payments 3 & 4 days later ( not till Wednesday or Thursday ), making it appear the payments were later than they were. To be clear, when I made a payment to XXXX money came out of my checking account right then!!!!! Reviewing my statement does NOTHING if you do not review the faulty payment system. My complaint pointed out that their payment system was not accurately reflecting payment posting dates and reviewing the statements has nothing to due with Wells Fargos faulty payment processing I complained about in my original complaint. In addition, Wells Fargo has incorrectly calculated the 28 days in XXXX. Combined with the delay in posting my payments due to the payment error on Wells Fargos side, Wells Fargo needs to remove the late payments and fix my credit report. I was also not late in XXXX & XXXX of 2019 yet WELLS FARGO refused to address that in my complaint too. Even if I was late 2x in one year per their misleading account statement ( XXXX & XXXX ), I WAS NOT LATE FOUR TIMES!!!! PLEASE GET THIS RESOLVED AND DO NOT LET WELLS FARGO PULL THE WOOL OVER YOUR EYES AGAIN!!
