Complaint: ACCT # : XXXX Car 's XXXX # : XXXX About a year later after returning the lease, and getting a new lease with the same company " Volkswagen credit '' I received a " Turn-in invoce '' charging me {$800.00} dollars. As soon as I received this invoice, I called them to explained to them, that 6 months prior to this letter, Volkswagen Credit had sent me another letter, letting me know, that the account HAD BEEN PAID IN FULL, and no other fees were needed. In addition, they had already updated the balance to {$0.00} on my credit report, as well as to the status of " Paid and closed '' They explained to me, that the had sent me the " PAID IN FULL LETTER '' by mistake, and prior to them re-selling the car. I told them, that it was n't my fault, and that they are in violation of the Uniform Commercial Code, by charging me this fees, 1 year after returning the car back to them, and after I had already received a letter from Volkswagen Credit stating that I owed anything at all. Volkswagen credit told me that, they can not do anything but to charge me % 50 of the turn-in invoice, as a courtesy. However, i refused to because, they had already sent me a PAID IN FULL letter. This is not fair. I had sent letters after that, without any response from them, I had called many times without response either. I have been leasing cars from them for more than 5 years now without being late once! This is not a good way to treat a loyal buyer.

Complaint: I purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX, part of XXXX XXXX XXXX, on XXXX XXXX XXXX. I explained that I was in the process of moving from the XXXX area to XXXX XXXX. The salesman, XXXX XXXX, told us that would not be a problem. I took possession of the car, paid the XXXX sales tax and was promised the dealer 's finance and title department representatives, XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX, would process the paperwork. It 's now been three months since the sale. I initially borrowed {$10000.00} which was paid off in full through their financing branch a month after the purchase. ( see attachment ). I 've paid all the applicable XXXX taxes and sent copies of the paid tax receipts to the individuals above. I 'm a XXXX XXXX resident and have sent a copy of my driver 's license for that state to XXXX along with all the other paper work they 've requested. Despite these efforts, I do not have a valid registration for the car nor do I have a title despite the car being paid off in full. The State of XXXX still has no record of my XXXX being registered. I can not register the car and I do not have a title despite paying off the loan if full. The car is not legal to drive since XXXX will not provide temporary tags beyond 60 days.

Complaint: The car was returned on XX/XX/XXXX and the last payment on the lease through XXXX or XXXX XXXX was made on XX/XX/XXXX and the receipt along with the California DMV are attached to this showing the last payment made on XX/XX/XXXX and the car changed title on XX/XX/XXXX. the account number is XXXX with XXXX XXXX XXXX and my name is XXXX XXXX XXXX. So first the account needs to show closed on XX/XX/XXXX and secondly there ca n't be a past due at all for XX/XX/XXXX as all of the lease payments were made prior to lease end on XX/XX/XXXX. They are trying to show a late for {$36.00} for something that is not a payment but a milage assessment that was done after the car was submitted and we did n't even get the bill for the difference until well after so the late needs to be removed for XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX/VW when I spoke with them told me that they were sending a letter to the bureaus to remove the late which was incorrect in XX/XX/XXXX but that still has n't happened, and they would not provide me a letter. Trying to get a re-fi and this false late is causing problems, and XXXX/VW needs to get this removed now from all 3 bureaus for XX/XX/XXXX and I was never late on the account. Thank you.

Complaint: This morning I received 22 computer generated calls to call VW Credit at XXXX. Each call was exactly the same in duration and in content. It was strange to me that I had to log into my phone to receive the messages, which is normally on 24/7. This is pure harassment. It was a clear violation of the FDCPA and if fines were to be applied, my car 's value would be exceeded in fines alone. Yes, I do owe the money and I will pay, though I am considering trading the car in to another dealer and not dealing with VW Credit in the future.

Complaint: I turned in my VW Credit leased vehicle at XXXX XXXX which took my trade in and made the remaining payments on the lease. I took pictures and videos of the condition of the car when it was turned in to XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX kept the vehicle at their site for over a week and then the vehicle was taken to a VW dealership to be inspected and returned to VW credit. Over a month later I received an end of lease bill from VW for several items for which I was being charged for that appeared to be inaccurate including a cracked windshield and excessive wear on one tire ( all 4 tires were purchased and installed at the same exact time ). I called VW credit to dispute the inaccuracies of these charges and informed them that I had pictures and videos of the condition that the vehicle was turned in to XXXX XXXX and that XXXX XXXX sales man who delivered the vehicle to VW dealership was also contacted and attested that the windshield was not cracked. VW told me to hold off on payment until they investigated this further and that they would call me back, it was over a month and I phoned in a couple of times to get the same response ; they would call me back. Finally after nearly two months, I called again and after much frustration on my part because of these frivolous charges, they agreed to a lower the amount of the charges and to avoid further frustrations I agreed and paid the balance in full after I was assured that my credit would not be affected and that it would all be resolved. I am now checking my credit Report and my credit worthiness has been affected greatly by this incident for which I have paid in full even when the pictures and videos of my vehicle turn in date demonstrate the inaccuracy of VW charges for a cracked windshield. Furthermore, I pride myself in making all my payments on time to all creditors and I think my credit history, including previous VW accounts, can attest for me.

However, on XXXX I decided that the XXXX XXXX XXXX plan was not a good plan for me and decided to cancel. I went to XXXX XXXX and officially cancelled the plan with the same financial person that sold me the car. I received the receipt of the cancellation and I was told that the refunded money {$1700.00} would be applied to my account in about XXXX weeks. Since then, I have contacted both XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX periodically after XXXX weeks had passed to get a status updated and I always received the same response : it is getting processed. Well, it has been XXXX weeks now since I cancelled the plan and to this date, the total amount {$1700.00} has not been applied to my account. I 'm extremely disappointed with XXXX and the way this issue is being handled. If it was the opposite, with me not paying the monthly payment, they would have already charged me exorbitant late fees as well as potentially taken the car from me by now.

Spoke with sales but not finance. Did not initial or sign with finance. Numbers run for specific model but had not decided on specific model. Was told by sales associate 'it could be adjusted later '. XX/XX/XXXX : Received credit denial from XXXX XXXX with credit hit and denial for 'Lack of Down Payment '. App number : XXXX. XXXX XXXX , XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, IL XXXX. Phone : XXXX Received no call between dates to ask whether I would be returning for vehicle. Left message for VW XX/XX/XXXX. Spoke with finance officer at dealership who became abusive when asked for reason for discrepancy in app paperwork fill out and submission. Stated app was finished. I never spoke with the finance officer, only a sales associate. Finance submitted app after period of 2 and half weeks with no contacts from dealer. I never signed the additional legal from the finance office. Finance officer when asked about this stated it was done 'to teach me a lesson '.

Complaint: On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I entered into a lease contract for an Audi XXXX with Audi Financial services. The contract stipulated a monthly payment of {$660.00}. After several months the monthly payment began to vary ranging from {$670.00} to {$660.00} a month. I ignored this until XXXX, XXXX when I reviewed the monthly statement. I then saw that I was being charged a late payment fee of {$6.00}. No payment has ever been late. Late fees were also included in the two previous months. I called Audi Financial on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and was told the late fee was a system problem with their accounting system and it would be corrected and my payment adjusted. I was also informed that my new payment amount going forward was to be {$670.00}. I was also assured that Audi Financial had not recorded my payments as late. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I logged on to my Audi account and observed the following. The amount due for the XXXX payment prominently displayed on my home page was {$660.00} with no indication of a late fee. The amount due on the monthly statement however appeared as {$670.00} including the late fee charge. In a series of email exchanges with XXXXudi Financial I attempted to get clarification as to the actual payment amount due for the XXXX payment. At this point four different payments were possible : original contracted amount of {$660.00} amount stated by customer assistance of {$670.00} amount shown on my Audi home page of {$660.00} amount shown on monthly statement of {$670.00} The last response from Audi Financial regarding this confusing state of affairs was " We appreciate your feedback and apologize we are unable to meet your needs. '' Although the actual dollar discrepancies are small I do not think it unreasonable for the financial company to provide me with consistent information regarding monthly payments. I am also concerned that my statements have included a late fee assessment for at least three months even though all payments have been made on time.

Complaint: 2. Ive leased three or four black VW Jettas through VW Credit over the last 12 or so years. The most recent vehicle is a XXXX Jetta, the lease on which ended XXXX XXXX 3. Over the summer the dealership representative made multiple calls each week urging me to get out of the lease early and take on a new lease with lower monthly payments. Each time he called, the number was a little lower. 4. I was reluctant to lease a VW again because of a serious problem with the fuel pump that caused the vehicle to stop dead on the XXXX XXXX at rush hour. It had previously shut down, but not in such a dangerous situation. I asked the dealership to check it ; they claimed no problem. 5. The dealership representative was the one who mentioned the fuel pump problem and said that VW was keeping it quiet. A friend had a similar situation with a shutdown on XXXX XXXX. 6. Over the course of dealership representatives calls, I neither made the monthly payments nor did I open VW envelopes because I normally pay the same amount directly from my bank. I dont take calls from 800 numbers, so I had no warning when VW seized the car XX/XX/XXXX. No reason for not making payments, I simply didnt think about it. 7. I offered to pay the outstanding lease amount ( and an excise tax bill for the vehicle ) which totaled {$1200.00} and change. 8. XXXX of the VW Credit Active Resolution Team ( XXXX ) informed me XX/XX/XXXX that because the end of the lease was so close, I am obliged to pay {$15000.00} ( plus compensation for other expenses ) in order to retrieve the car. 9. It doesnt strike me as remotely reasonable to pay close to {$30000.00} to acquire a three-year old Jetta with a serious problem for that amount. That amount includes the cash I already have into the car. 10. In the meantime, my credit has been destroyed. If you need other documentation, please let me know.

Complaint: In about XXXX my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX broke down. The dealer examined the car and said it was the engine. I informed XXXX corporate and they refused to repair it because it was XXXX miles out of warranty. I provided XXXX with proof of proper maintenance to the car. I made every attempt to resolve this issue but XXXX refused to work with me. They offered to pay for 50 % of the repair. The problem with that is my balance on the loan was approximately {$19000.00}. To repair the vehicle would be {$13000.00}. One half of that is {$6500.00}, which makes the entire cost {$25000.00} for repair and the balance on the car. According to XXXX XXXX XXXX the car was only worth {$13000.00}. I left the car at the dealership and cancelled the contract. It did n't make financial sense to continue to pay for a car that I was n't driving. All correspondence is attached hereto. I 've since found out that XXXX did n't repair the car and resell it but instead is selling it to a salvage company for scrap metal. XXXX should have repaired it and resold it.

Complaint: I was promised verbally, bc VW refused to agree in writing, that I would be able to reinstate my lease after payment. They did not honor that promise. My car was then repossessed on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX & the vehicle contained my work equipment etc. When I went to retrieve my belongings, I was told I had to pay {$150.00} to retrieve them, which I had to pay, in cash. Some belongings were also not listed & missing from inventory list. I was told by the repo company that this was VW policy & the law. I contacted VW, who never responded. Then on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I received a letter from VW credit that I owe XXXX, there was no detail breakdown included, & I was told that I would owe the remaining payments, along with repo fees etc. My remaining payments were possibly 6 payments, I ca n't get a hold of anyone who will talk to me about my lease, so I do n't have the exact information. My payments were approximately {$570.00}, so I am not sure why I owe so much. I believe my rights were violated by VW financial. Now they are threatening collection activity and have not responded to my written objection dated XXXX/XXXX/XXXX.

Complaint: My name is XXXX XXXX. Last year XXXX XXXX, XXXX I purchased a lease from XXXX of XXXX, FL. I was asked by the cars salesman to pay him cash for my car payment so he could give me a discount. The cars salesman named XXXX XXXX, pocketed the money I was giving for my car payment. I paid him every month. I have text messages between him and myself of me giving him payment as proof. He never paid the car payment until XXXX XXXX. The reason why he paid it was because a repo man came to my job and tried to reposes the car. He paid the back payments from XXXX to bring me back up to date. He took another {$460.00} from me and never paid the car payment. I called VW and they fired him because of this. I am now behind my payments again because he took that {$460.00} from ( ( which is all on record via text ). I am now trapped in a XXXX year lease for a car payment of {$440.00}. I was promised by the salesman after a year of the lease I could bring the car back in and swap it out for a newer lease or to buy a new car. I only did this to bring my credit up. My credit is now XXXX. I am stuck in a car payment that is so high I am working a second full time job to make up for the car payment. VW will not help me get out of the lease or bring the car payment down. I 've spoken to VW credit and I 've spoken to the XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX at VW of XXXX, where the incident happened. I ca n't afford a lawyer and I am really trying to seek some justice. I want to be put back into a more affordable car. I am so unhappy with the way VW handled this situation. I am a single person asking for help. They are a XXXX dollar company that can afford to help me out in this situation. Please contact me so we can figure out how to come to a resolution.
