Complaint: Bought a new XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX in Texas in late XXXX. Was pushed to finance at least 4 months with XXXX XXXX XXXX to get a {$2000.00} rebate. On XX/XX/XXXX made my first and only payment of {$10000.00}. Noticed it never posted so made numerous calls and was told account number inputted wrong but it was corrected and properly applied and would reflect so in my XXXX account. This never happened so i made numerous calls over the next few weeks to follow up. No hint of any problem from XXXX and all was well just taking longer than expected ... .... Today I was told XXXX returned the money on XX/XX/XXXX and it, whatever it is, was cashed on XX/XX/XXXX. This is the first time I was told this. All my other inquiries all was fine and just taking time to get the payment to its correct home. I had another $ XXXXpayment set for today but had the bank cancel it. Now I am out {$10000.00} and left to deal with an inept XXXX that every phone call tells me a new story. My bank says the payment was an electronic transfer to XXXX and they have no idea why a paper check would have been cut if in fact it was. Bottom line, my {$10000.00} is missing and I am left to deal with incompetents.

Complaint: previously have been trying to get an issue addressed regarding identity theft on my report .... I have had several addresses and accounts that were as a result of my identity being stolen ... the addresses and some information has been removed and corrected but the accounts have not, .... i have a past ftc affidavits and I have added the additional accounts that I left out on these ftc affidavits ... since I have reached out to the company and again sent all of my information XXXX has accepted the FTC affidavit and blocked all of the fraudulent items except the last one on the report ... it has been well over 4 days since this has been received and accepted by them and they have overlooked the account VW Credit acct # XXXX this account reporting is out of compliance with the FCRA and the statute regarding blocking fraudulent accounts .... I am thinking this is just an oversight seeing as this was the last one on the report but I am requesting that this is taken care of immediately and blocked from my credit file permanently

Complaint: In XX/XX/2017 I took out a car lease with XXXX XXXX at the time I paid for the first two months, I did inform them that the bills need to be sent to my XXXX XXXX . They failed to send the statements to the address they were told to. So I never knew a payment was due. My first indication of something being amiss is when I got a phone call to inform me of the past due balance. At that point I paid the past due balance and reiterated were the statements need to be mailed to.

Termination fees or other problem when ending the lease early
Complaint: I leased a vehicle from XXXX and due to Servicemembers Civil Relief Act I requested a early lease termination. The request was subsequently approved on XX/XX/XXXX by VW Credit.
After receiving notification of the approval, I closely followed the instructions for surrendering the vehicle. The turn in procedures went successfully and there were no problems however I contacted them several times about the Capitalized Cost Reduction reimbursement and on several occasions they denied my request stating that there are would be no refunds as no security deposit. During the purchase I placed a cash downpayment of {$3300.00} on XX/XX/XXXX as evidenced in the closed end motor vehicle lease paperwork.
Based on my research and past federal district court rulings has ruled that the cash capitalized cost reduction ( CCR ) payment allegedly made by a military servicemember upon signing his auto lease was refundable under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act ( SCRA ).
The SCRA allows a lessee called to active military duty to terminate an auto lease without incurring an early termination charge and requires the lessor to refund any lease amounts paid in advance for a period after the effective date of the termination of the lease. VW Credit has not and will not refund my CCR payment and the failure to refund a prorated portion of this cash CCR payment is a violation of the SCRA.
I believe that the cash CCR payment was a lease amount that he paid in advance, for the full period of the lease, that had the net effect of [ a ] prorata reduction or prepayment of a portion of each future month [ s ] payment.
I appreciate any assistance you can provide on this matter.

Complaint: XXXX XXXX appears to have intentionally destroyed my credit as well as the coborrower on the account. They offered me an extension, deferment on my account and clearly stated multiple times this will not report derogatorily as the account will be brought to current. I paid {$390.00} for this deferment and followed up with XXXX XXXX multiple times to make sure deferment cleared. Each time I was informed by representative that were back logged but no worries it will be processed and will not affect your credit. Five days later my credit score as well as coborrower 's score decreased by 60 points. I have called XXXX multiple times and their reps always say it will be corrected carelessly. It still hadn't been corrected. Please help.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2018, I sent the attached letter to VW Credit Inc. as a formal dispute of erroneous information on my credit reports. I clearly outlined specific errant information on each trade line with official screenshots from XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. The letter was sent via XXXX ( Tracking number XXXX ). I verified that the item was received. Additionally, I received a phone call from a VW Credit supervisor confirming receipt and asking to discuss the matter. VW Credit has had sufficient time to mark my account on each of my credit reports investigating my dispute, however this has not taken place - despite the clear evidence of outlined errant reporting and inaccuracy. I don't understand why they are not abiding by the FCRA by marking my accounts in dispute. I don't wish to discuss the matter over the phone and prefer all communication in writing to ensure I have a clear paper trail.

Complaint: I went to Volkswagen in XXXX XXXX MO when I was XXXX years old to look at getting my first car. I was asked by the car salesman to call my mom and see if she would co-sign for me. He explained that I might be able to get a better deal if she did so. After she agreed he immediately started showing me new vehicles. He suggested a lease knowing I could not pay anything over {$500.00} stating that this is better deal. He misconstrued what a lease was and the features on the contract. He stated that when I got to 48,000 miles ( or 4 years whichever came sooner ) the lease would be over and I could end it or trade it in for a new car. When I was nearing this amount of miles I went back to the dealership to discuss my options. The person I spoke to said that everything I said I was told is incorrect and because I was at this mileage at this point in my contract I would be subject to thousands of dollars in fees and suggested I switched to a purchase. I am XXXX now and barely able to survive after making my rent and car payment. I have tried to look at trading it in but I owe about {$22000.00} more than it is worth and nobody can help me. I believe Volkswagen took advantage of my ignorance and lied when explaining the specifics of my contract to me verbally. I have submitted several written complaints via email from Volkswagen Credits website and have never received any response.

Complaint: On Friday, XX/XX/2018 I reached out to XXXX XXXX to request a quote on the 2018 XXXX XXXX. I was going to be leasing it with my mother. After reviewing my income, they decided that they couldn't lease me a car. That's fine, we parted ways and I moved on with my day. Later, I got a notification from all three credit bureaus that a hard inquiry has been placed on my accounts by XXXX XXXX via XXXX. I never authorized the use of my social. I tried contacting them but to no avail - I've left countless messages and e-mails for the finance manager who has never gotten back to me. On XX/XX/2018 I got ANOTHER email stating that ANOTHER inquiry had been placed on my social with all three credit bureaus by XXXX XXXX via XXXX. I did not authorize this, nor did I speak to anyone. Once I was rejected on XXXX it was case closed. Additionally, my mother, who they did not speak to, and did not need to verify her info until we were to be signing documents ( which didn't happen ) had her social run TWICE as well on all three credit bureaus. THEY HAD ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHT to run my social the first time, let alone A SECOND TIME after they refused to lease me a car and especially had no business running my mothers information once they refused to lease me a car. I've tried reaching out to them countless times and they just keep telling me no one is available to speak to me, or they take a message and never get back to me. These need to be removed IMMEDIATELY from my accounts as well as my mothers accounts. We do not have any outstanding debts with them, we did not lease a car from them and we did not sign any paperwork authorizing the use of ourinformation - not once or twice.

Complaint: I financed a XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. I made my first payment on XX/XX/XXXX even though my first payment wasn't required until XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$400.00}. I had stopped receiving statements after the month of XX/XX/XXXX but continued to make payments every month since I knew that there were funds due. In the month of XX/XX/XXXX I had made an additional payment to pay down the principal. On XX/XX/XXXX after reviewing the amount of my principal payment, I called to inquire if my principal payments were applied correctly. After speaking with the rep she had advised my XX/XX/XXXX payment was applied to XX/XX/XXXX and so forth and my account was actually considered paid ahead as of XX/XX/XXXX. I had advised the rep that I had made 2 " extra '' payments that should have been applied to principal only and she stated that it would have been the XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX payments that would need to be reversed and reapplied to principal. She advised she would put in the request to get it updated. I had to call back on the following dates to check on the status of my request : XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and each time was told it was either being worked on or was completed but was not being provided any proof and my principal balance wasn't updated. On XX/XX/XXXX I called back and spoke with a rep asking again about the status of my reversals and was told again it should've taken place and when I requested proof was told they weren't able to generate statements on my account and would have to put in a special request to get documentation. I then advised them that by not providing me with my statements so I could see payment/billing information they were violating Reg Z/Truth in Lending Act they transferred me to a manager XXXX ( XXXX XXXX. XXXX ). He advised he would follow up on the account to make sure that statements would be provided and that the principal only payments were reflected correctly. On XX/XX/XXXX I had to call back to advise the statements that were sent did not provide sufficient information regarding how payments were applied and requested this be done so I could verify that the principal only went to just principal. I was advised that future statements would provide me with the information since they turned off the " pay ahead '' feature on my account and suggested setting up auto payments. On 9/24 I had called back after receiving a manually generated payment history letter to advise that the payments were still not applied correctly because per the letter both the XXXX and XXXX payments had interest taken out of the payment amounts even though they were principal only payments and shouldn't have had interest applied and the subsequent payments should've had less interest since being charged to a lower principal amount. XXXX again advised he would work with the finance dept to correct and would have a new payment history regenerated. The Payment history I received on XX/XX/XXXX still did not reflect the correct information. The interest was simply 0 'd out next to the XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX payments however was charged to the following month. It's evidenced that not only was more interest charged to the subsequent months but the amount paid to principal was less than a normal payment. This information appears to be intentionally deceptive or misleading in an attempt to collect interest where there should not have been and should be reviewed for an UDAAP violation.

Volkswagen credit received payoff from XXXX then charged my credit for a 30 day late payment for the month of XX/XX/2018. I dispute late payment on my credit through XXXX on XX/XX/2018 and XX/XX/2018 staying I was not late for the payment on XX/XX/2018 when the car was no longer in my possession. Volkswagen credit refuses to delete the negative late payment and is continuing to put me in financial hardship due to me ending my loan and lease options with them.
