Complaint: My car was almost in repo from Toyota financial. I talked to a supervisor and he agreed if paid 1 month XXXXto would come out of repo and I could pay the next month at a later date to get it caught up. I ended up paying 2 months through their automated system with a checking account. They can see the payment was set to go through on the XXXX but it came back as u sufficient funds. I need up putting in the routing number, account number but added the check number not realizing your not suppose to put the cHeck number as well. I have the money to catch up the car but they repoed the car today at XXXX. Beyond never told me the payment did n't go through or there was an error.. they refuse to let me pay the car to date and get it back. They want the car in full. It ws a typical error and they know I have the money. So they say they will sell at auction and I 'll owe the money.. why ca n't they take he money to catch it up if I have it and they know that? I do t want to owe money on a car that I dono havem. Both partied will lose money if they do it that way. Not right to efuse money when they know I tried to pay and I told them I have all the money now.

Complaint: I was a co-signer on a loan that fell behind a few months. The auto loan was opend in XXXX and closed in XXXX. I have repeatedly ask Toyota Financial to remove the loan from my credit report as a courtesy so the late payments would not effect my credit rating. They keep reporting late payments even though the auto loan has been paid in full for almost 2 years. Just recent as XX/XX/XXXX, they reported being late 120 days past due. I have never been late 120 days nor did I open an investigation on this paid loan in recent months. They are providing derogatory information on my credit report that hurts my credit score.

Complaint: When I went to the dealer, I signed for my credit check so they can see my credit and offer me a loan rate as they offer up to 0 % financing. The sales person told me that my credit score will give 8 % APR financing. I checked my credit score that night and it was already impacted for this credit check from Toyota. So I decided to continue and buy the car I found there. A couple of days later they have the car ready, I get the insurance and I was ready to sign for the car. When I was in the financial office, the person who attend me told me that my credit score was too low and they only way they can " help me '' to have the 8 % APR was if " I help them '' buying the extended warranty. It increased the final price for almost {$4000.00}. I told them I did n't want the extended warranties and all I want was the car and the 8 % finance initially offered. The person in charge of the financial office was pressuring me to get the extended warranty, as I refuse to take it he told me that the APR will be 9.44 %. As my credit score was already impacted and I 've spent many hours in this dealership I did n't want to go to other dealer, I decided to take the car and sign with the 9.44 %. I think that this sales tactics, pressure and confusing information is not correct. Why they offer and initial APR but do n't say that is subject to buy extra services that increase the final price of the vehicle. Also this person who I do n't remember his name at the moment, was very rude, unprofessional, and was acting like he was doing me a favor not treating me as a customer that is buying a car. He said " if you do n't like the way I do it, you can go to other place ''

Complaint: A payment of {$900.00} was made on XX/XX/XXXX, however, it was n't until XX/XX/XXXX that the payment was processed and returned as failed. The circumstances in which this issue has come are somewhat unclear to me since the bank account that funded the payment had enough funds to cover this charge. Furthermore, considering the amount of time it took for the payment to get processed we even reached out to Toyota Financial Services customer service to try and make a second payment ( if needed ), but we were told not to make it for two reasons.
1.If the payment were to fail, it is processed one more time by Toyota. ( this did n't happen ) 2.If we make a second payment both payments might end up going through.
At the direction of customer service, we did not follow through with this plan and it was n't until we were called again that we were notified about the payment failure. Through this call customer service took the payment once again ( it went through ) and notified us of our option to dispute the 30-day marker with Toyota Financial. We were told that the account has notes that detail our previous discussions with them, our attempts to make a second payment, as well as the failure to run the payment twice as previously mentioned to us.
I should note that this is the second time this very same issue occurred. I was able to successfully dispute the first incident and was under the impression that the same would happen this time around given the circumstances and given the notes left by customer service. In response to my first dispute letter Toyota Financial replied as followed : Our records reflect that you submitted the same dispute to one or more times in the past and Toyota Financial Services ( " TFS '' ) previously fully investigated and responded to your concerns. As a result of the prior investigation, we determined that we are correctly reporting the status of Your Account to the credit reporting agencies.
While it is true that the same dispute had been submitted once in the past I would like to note that the first and only dispute was successfully resolved in my favor and the 30-day later marker was removed from the account. Thus, I have XXXX points to make here : If this dispute is the " same '' as the previous dispute and the previous dispute was resolved in my favor why was this dispute not resolved as the " same ''? That is, why was it not resolved in my favor?
Furthermore, if the investigation is based on the previous investigation as TFS stated " As a result of the prior investigation, we determined that we are correctly reporting the status of Your Account to the credit reporting agencies. ". Strictly going off of the result of the previous investigation should yield the same results for the second.
I replied to them making these points as well as providing further financial documentation to support my cause. In response I received the exact same automated letter from Toyota Financial without a single response to the XXXX points I made. I am unable to reach them via telephone and they will not address my issue. I will to continue to dispute this until Toyota Financial acknowledges their mistake and removes the 30 day late marker from all XXXX credit bureaus.

Complaint: During the lease contract, the finance person at XXXX XXXX never went over all the clauses associated to the contract. The finance person was pretty deceptive in omitting the fact that Lexus financial would be charged a property tax by the city of XXXX XXXX when a vehicle is leased. The wording in the clause that I signed made it seem as if the fees imposed are my normal vehicle registration fees I would pay the city which is standard in my state. It even indicated that in the state of Texas we are exempt from property tax. I should not have to pay property tax on a vehicle I do n't fully own. I have never paid property tax on any of the vehicles I have financed and should not be held to a different standard because of a lease.

Complaint: Toyota Financial sent me included a miscellaneous charge in the amount of {$630.00}. XXXX. They stated that XXXX County ( XXXX XXXX, Texas ) assessed a property tax and that they paid it and passed the amount to me for payment. I requested a detailed accounting of the bill, however Toyota stated that they could not give me any records because of " privacy issues ''. I was instructed to contact the XXXX County Tax Assessors Office. I did so. They informed me that the county assesses a tax on the entire fleet of the leasing company 's yearly rendition and that the Tax Code requires the owner ( Toyota ) to complete the Lessee 's Affidavit of Primarily Non Income Producing Vehicle Use ( Form XXXX ). Toyota now claims that they did not receive a notarized TX affidavit " by the required deadline ''. They do not indicate when the deadline was, who was supposed to file it, and what type of notarized TX affidavit was required in order to be exempt. Further they stated, " Therefore we are required to report the vehicle as business use and no refund will be issued by the county. '' It is my understanding that this tax applies to commercial vehicles only and DOES NOT apply to personal use vehicles. Toyota Financial states that I need to refer to my original lease and that I am liable for payment, even though there appears to be some sort of clerical error on either XXXX County or Toyota. It hardly seems appropriate that I would have to pay a tax on my personal car because it has been erroneously listed for commercial use.
