Complaint: I have been experiencing a nightmare with my vehicle loan with XXXX. There was {$4600.00} added on my loan due to mandatory insurance although I have shown proof of insurance. My vehicle have been in storage for over a year there is no reason for me to have full coverage on my car. Due to this XXXX being added on my account my monthly payment has skyrocketed. I have late credit reportings on my credit report which is truly making this even more of a nightmare.I have sent in documents by fax which they have told me they have never received although I have a confirmation page that it was sent. I fell sick with XXXX and was hospitalized and fell behind on my payments due to the increased amounts needed, and have been getting terrible customer service. They told me to send in a hardship application with proof that I was in the hospital which I have done and now have been experiencing bad customer service from the delinquency department. Manager XXXX XXXX and one of his reps spoke to me in a very condescending tone, spoke over me, was not helpful on XX/XX/22. I just want to get this situation resolved so I can pay the correct amount and become current on my loan without the bad customer service.

Complaint: In XX/XX/2018 I receive a notification of a Pentagon Federal credit card being added to my credit report causing a negative effect on my credit score. This account has XXXX listed as an Authorized User on the card. This is a card I have no knowledge about never knew I was added to this card. So I called Pentagon Federal Credit Union to ask why was this added to my credit report and I have no knowledge of this. I then said that I would like to be remove as an authorized user because I never gave permission to be added to the account. The representative told me when I spoke to her to send in a written letter asking to be remove because I have no knowledge of the card. I did such, and they called me and told me that I couldnt be remove because the owner of the account has to remove me. She then asked me if I could make a payment I told her a payment I am not responsible for this account and make it worse I dont have knowledge of if.. They Decline my request. I then Ask them if there is any other way that I could be remove the clearly told me no.. I the. Dispute it 3 times and the results came back saying the the card is mine. I have tried over and over asking Pentagon to please please just remove my name because its adversely affecting my credit score, and affecting me from becoming a homeowner. Complaint: Ordered the PenFed Credit Union XXXX XXXX card about a month ago to make a few purchases ahead of overseas travel. Nearly every purchase attempted was declined from XXXX, to XXXX, to various airlines. Had 5+ hours of phone calls with customer support and bounced between various departments. Supervisors blamed me for entering card number incorrectly and then tried to blame vendors for not transmitting the number correctly. Clearly a problem on PenFed 's intake side. Still no resolution.

As you can see, I have always had a stellar payment record with this company. I tried contacting both XXXX and PENTAGON FEDERAL CRE with no successful resolution. XXXX only reporting me late. Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX I submitted a CFPB complaint # XXXX about Penfed regarding an account that was still listed as a past due charge off that was sold to collection company name XXXX. Penfed responded to this complaint XX/XX/XXXX stating that they still owned this account and that XXXX XXXX was collecting for them in their complaint response. XX/XX/XXXX I agreed with XXXX XXXX and Penfed to settle this account in full and to close this account out to a XXXX balance if I paid the amount of {$2700.00}. XX/XX/XXXX I paid this amount with my debit card and the funds were withdrawn from my account on XX/XX/XXXX. I contacted Penfed and was told that it would take 30 to 60 days for my account to reflect a XXXX balance and to be updated to a satisfied account. However, this never happened. On XX/XX/XXXX I initiated a dispute with XXXX echoing all the above details and on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX completed their dispute with a verification of the current reporting. XXXX could not have researched the reference account and then verify the information because that is not correct. I believe XXXX did an electronic XXXX verification and did not research this in its entirety. If PenFed did in fact verify that the account was reporting correctly on my credit report then they are in violation of credit reporting guidelines.

Complaint: This issue began last year,XX/XX/XXXX around this same time. I got into some financial troubles so fell behind on payments however each time I was contacted ( at this time only once per month ) I spoke with the rep and expressed my desire to NOT have the credit line closed and that I would make payments to catch up. Fast forward to XX/XX/XXXX, I made a {$300.00} payment towards a {$580.00} balance, it was only AFTER the payment was submitted and my credit report updated did that company then state the account was closed by consumer and they would not reopen, Ever since making that payment I have since been called on a DAILY BASIS! After SEVERAL requests to not be contacted and that I would cover the balance as soon as possible, They have since continued to call and recently started to contact my family members in regards to this account. They refused to remove the report stating I asked for the account to be closed which is a blatant lie, yet they continue to harass me day after day by leaving voicemails constantly.
