Complaint: I have been filing complaints left and right with Pentagon Federal Credit Union about an unauthorized inquiry on my report. They stated they made an inquiry back in XX/XX/XXXX. And have not made any other inquiries since. Well i mentioned to them about an inquiry that was done on XX/XX/XXXX and they are claiming it's bogus and in other words I'm making it up. I sent them proof before and they still are requesting more proof. ITS A STALL TACTIC!!! ITS FRAUD!!! But now worries I Have Spoken With An Attorney and i will be bringing a lawsuit against Pentagon Federal. When inquires are made on your report that you didn't authorize it drops your credit score. But of course you knew that though.

Complaint: After being advised by XXXX that an unauthorized transaction in the amount of {$39.00} effective XX/XX/2018, needed to be resolved by my financial institution ( PenFed ), I filed two disputes to have the charge investigated and my account credited. Confirmations on XX/XX/2018 and XX/XX/2018 from PenFed advised an analyst would contact me within 21 business days. This never occurred. Three follow-ups via phone ( the latest on XX/XX/2018 ) and two follow-ups via email ( the latest on XX/XX/2018 ) yielded zero results. No agent of PenFed has contacted me regarding this charge. In the meantime, when charges are in dispute consumers are not responsible for the charge, yet the institution auto-debited the amount upon my statement due date.

You never received your bill or did not know a payment was due
Complaint: For the last few months there has was not payment due there was all XXXX nor minimum payment all XXXX. I began making payments on my own in XX/XX/2018 for {$50.00} then another payment XXXX XXXX for {$41.00}. When I saw a payment due for {$17.00} for the end of this month on XX/XX/2018 I call and enquired. I was told I did not make a payment this month and that I had to pay. I was upset as each time I call I get a representative with a smart mouth. The representatives talk to me like I am XXXX as though I can not add or subtract and I by no means know what I am talking about. I have before tired of the insults. I have proof that I paid when I said I paid and I wish I would have captured a screen shot of the PenFed account page as further proof but it is long gone. ( see attached transfer to PenFed from XXXX ).
In addition I believe PenFed owes me transfer fees for the transfers made to XXXX XXXX. There were several delays in transferring the money to pay off the high interest rate card and the INTEREST CONTINUED to ACCRUE for MONTHS, by the time the transfer was completed I had secured funds from another financial institution. I believe it is around {$430.00} PenFed owes me. I am positive there should be notation on this account regarding a three way conference call with XXXX about XX/XX/XXXX or XX/XX/2018. If not I am positive XXXX XXXX has this information. The delays in transfer cost me and it appearing this issue with this account is proof as to why there were disturbances within PenFed system. The last representative I spoke said you was behind. My thought is why should I be subjected to these frustrations because of PenFed system issues?

In response to that complaint they replied back to me stating i allowed the inquiry. XXXX XXXX XXXX, the Vice President wrote stating that one inquiry was for XX/XX/XXXX and he found no other instances in which they requested my credit report. Well Mr Vice President of PenFed explain to me what this is then in the attached files. To the CFPB stop closing the account just because the company responded. Complaint: In XX/XX/2015 I opened a Credit Card with Pentagon Federal Credit Union. I fell on hard times due to a accident that left me incapacitated. Nonetheless when I received my settlement money I called Pentagon Federal and spoke with a nice woman about taking payment for both my line of credit and credit card. The woman advised me that she would have someone give me a call back making sure that I was still able to pay on the card since it was close to approaching Charge-Off Status. The woman called me back the following day and stated that I just met the cut off stated her supervisor and she then proceeded to take the payment information.
I would never pay money that I do not have just to have them report my credit on my credit as a charge off. I could have kept my money. In good faith I called to pay them and now they are stating that it was paid after it was charged off. If this is the case they need to give me back my money. The woman I spoke with was 100 % certain that it had not reached charge off status and that was how I was even able to pay the balance. This makes no sense and they are hurting my chances of purchasing a new home because of it. Not to mention my daughters tuition payments hold a higher than usual interest payment since they did this XXXX. I have the name of the woman some place and will send that in as soon as I locate it. I am tired of trying to fight these people to do what is right.
