Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 I spent a night at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and I went to an ATM to make a small cash advance. The machine did not dispense money and I promptly contacted security in the casino and never left the ATM. When security responded I explained that the machine did not dispense money and she told me that I had to call my bank.. Having not moved from the ATM I called Pentagon Federal Credit Union to report my problem. I stood there approximately 20 minutes while they took all pertinent information. After a long wait the representative told me it would be taken care of. I went to a different ATM and took two small cash advances which went through without a hitch. When I came home I noticed that Pentagon Federal Credit Union had the disputed amount in a pending file on my credit card account. After 3 days they simply added it to my total credit car balance, knowing I did not receive the advance. I called PFCU twice and spoke to representatives who assured me they would handle this issue.
Nothing changed. On XX/XX/2018 I called PFCU yet again and this time I asked the agent to allow me to speak to a supervisor since the agents were doing nothing more than making assurances they could not keep or perhaps lying might be a better term. The supervisor said he would look into my issue and call me back no later than Tuesday XX/XX/XXXX. Needless to say no call came and I am still stuck with no resolution. Every ATM has a camera and on top of that I was in a casino hotel where you are under surveillance every second unless you are in your hotel room or the bathroom so they know full well that the machine never dispensed money and it relatively simple to verify if they made the effort. Moreover the Cas advance fee and dollar amount should not have immediately been posted to my account without PFCU even bothering to check. I have just submitted forms to discontinue any direct deposits to PFCU since they simply can not be trusted. In addition I intend to pay off my PFCU Visa with the exception of the disputed amount and I will close the account, however I will never pay the amount I did not receive. I would rather face this in court out of principal.. I hope that you are able to get a satisfactory answer and explanation as to why. By all means share this information with others. In my view these people can no longer be trusted. I am stuck with PFCU for my mortgage loan but as long as I live I will never trust them again. I need a financial institution that has integrity and is responsive and can give me straight answers. Pentagon Federal Credit Union is not one of those institutions

Confusing or misleading advertising or marketing
Complaint: I opened a PenFed account on XX/XX/XXXX and applied for a car loan. The loan was completed XX/XX/XXXX and the representative mentioned there would not be an additional credit pull, they would use the first original one from XX/XX/XXXX and that it's good for up to 90 days from application for opening any accounts.
I received an alert today on my XXXX that they had pulled my credit today without my consent or authorization based off my conversation with the representative on XX/XX/XXXX. I should only have 1 credit pull based off my authorization and conversations.
I have reached out to PenFed again XX/XX/XXXX and they mentioned that they should have told me that they might still need to pull credit. That was not disclosed at all.
I a greatly upset with the service from PenFed that I will consider not even doing business with them now.
Please remove this unauthorized credit pull

Complaint: Pentagon Federal Credit Union sent me an erroneous notice about needing flood insurance on property. Ive had a HELOC with this lender for over 5 years and was never required to get flood insurance as the property was built above a 100-year flood plain. I called the lender and after a few transfers and absence of answers for the notification, I was told to disregard it. Fast forwarding it to day, i just saw my mortgage payment erroneously reflects an increase in monthly payment by {$2000.00} ( assessed charge for flood insurance ). This puts me at a potential of not making the new erroneous payment. This is a diceitful and erroneous practice of the lender. Asking for investigation, identification of root cause, and corrective/preventive action that insures other customers are not affected by these practices.

Complaint: PENTAGON FEDERAL CREDIT UNION reporting and attempt to collect on a debit I do not owe.
Per Federal and State Lending Guidelines for consumer loans ( Auto, Personal, Real Estate ) in this case an Auto Loan.
THIS IS NOT MY LOAN OR ACCOUNT AS ANY TYPE OF RESPONSABLE PARTY An auto loan shall have a endorsed and signed promissory note, a signed Truth-In-Lending, and a Signed Security Instrument Note for all consumer loans. The endorsee and signers by all parties would be the Borrowers, Co-Borrowers, and or Guarantors.
In this case the auto loan with Pentagon Federal Union a request was made to them to provide actual proof that the reporting guarantor did actually make this loan by providing a copy of the signed promissory note, a signed Truth-In-Lending, and a Signed Security Instrument Note. Which they have fail to do.
The only documentation they were able to provide was a Notice to Guarantor from Pentagon Federal Credit Union and a check cashed and signed by another person identified as the borrower of the loan which happens to be a relative of mine.
To note the Notice to Guarantor from Pentagon Federal Credit Union clearly states the notice is not the contract that makes you liable for the debit. It also further states that the sign promissory is the actually agreement and contact of liability of such a loan and debit.
Theyre failure to provide any such proof and supporting require documentation clearly shows that I XXXX XXXX am not liable for or agreed to this said such loan.
That I never agreed to finalize and or accept any loan, nor did I sign or agree to any legal loan documentation such as promissory note, a Truth-In-Lending, Security Instrument as a Borrowers, Co-Borrowers, and or Guarantor which is required by law. Nor did I XXXX XXXX sign for, accept, and or cash any check or instrument in this supposed Auto Loan.
See attach documentation I was able to obtain which clearly supports my dispute.
If the creditor disagrees with my dispute I demand them to present a signed promissory note, a signed Truth-In-Lending, and a Signed Security Instrument Note by me XXXX XXXX as a Borrower, Co-Borrower, and or Guarantor which is required by federal and state lending laws. Failure to do so again will support my claim that this loan being reported in not mine nor do I have any liability to such said loan.
Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Consumer Protection Act, and other Federal and State Lending and Financial laws and guidelines they Pentagon Federal Credit Union have fail to follow and adhere to.

Debt was result of identity theft
Complaint: Pentagon Federal Credit Union has been trying to collect on an debt that I do not owe for the past two years. I have been a victim of Identity Theft and have tried contacting the credit bureaus and Credit Union via mail and phone to inform them of that. Pentagon has hired 3 companies to collect on this debt and I do not believe that is legal, because I have never given either of these companies to input any information to my personal credit profile.
