Complaint: I received an alert on my XXXX and XXXX credit monitoring service that a hard Inquiry was placed on my credit report by XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2018 and Pentagon FCU. How is this possible because I placed fraud alerts on my credit report. Someone tried to obtain credit using my information. I have not applied for any credit with XXXX XXXX. I also, filed a police report a few weeks ago because of my missing wallet which contained my Driver 's License, Military ID, Social Security and Debit Cards. Please remove this hard Inquiry from XXXX XXXX and Pentagon FCU.

Complaint: The situations selected are not actually my situation. I selected the closes match. I filing this complaint against Pentagon Federal Credit Union for issuing 2 money market Certificate to the wrong address and they were cashed by some unknown person. I have been working with Pentagon for last 4 mos.trying to obtain images of the cashed/paid checks but no luck so this why I am contacting you. I am trying to find out why would Pentagon issue this checks when they matured without confirming with the owner. I requested to see the check images and know where the checks were sent but no luck because they said this occurred too long ago. On XX/XX/11, I opened a total of 9 money market certificates worth over $ 30k for my children, nieces and nephews on behalf of my terminally ill mother, who's last request was to leave some money for each of her grandchildren so she asked me to obtain certificates. All but 2 of the 9 received there money when the certificates matured. In the meanwhile, my nieces are out of their money because of their error/negligence. This is just coming to light because one of the owners ( my niece ) asked for her money and recently had twins. Certificates were opened XX/XX/11 and paid XX/XX/11 starting value {$2000.00}, 7 years term.

Complaint: I would like to file a complaint against Penfed Credit Union. They are the most unethical and XXXX company that i have ever dealt with.
I decided to apply for a credit with them. After submitting my application, a loan officer called me and asked some questions regarding my business and employment. I have a translation business and I am employed full-time as a consultant. He asked me to send him 2 years of tax returns which I did. Last week same person aggressively calls me and states that my income verification is fake and he verified from 3rd sources. He was discriminating, aggressive and unprofessional. He refused to provide any details and refused to connect to supervisor claiming that he is the decision maker and highest person in the company. I called immediately the customer service and spoke with supervisor. He was very friendly and responsive and he offered me to file a complaint regarding the loan officer which i declined. He was able to find out the reason. According to their ''genius '' loan officer my employment is fraudulent as my business a sole proprietor was required to be registered with California Secretary of State and I was required to have an EIN. I explained the supervisor that both statements are incorrect and he told me that i should reconsider the decision and send a letter to them. I sent a detailed explanation letter attaching more supportive documents regarding my income. The next day I called and was informed that they received the email. on XX/XX/2018 I received the letter stating that my application was declined due to same reason. I called and I was connected to some aggressive and unprofessional representative who declined to connect me to supervisor and provide any reason. After spending 40 minutes with them a representative XXXX told me that my tax documents are fake!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I requested him to clarify how were they able to determine that, did they contacted IRS? He said no! I requested him to send me in a written form that penfed determined that my tax documents are fake he refused to do so. He stated that i could never apply with penfed and he confirmed that they did nothing to verify genuineness of my documents. So basing on their assumption Penfed employees insult, discriminate, harm your credit and call you liar. This is the most unethical company in the world. I provided them with written explanation, I was eager to provide more documents to support my application and i even contacted state and Irs to confirm that my arguments were correct but these people refused to help me.

Complaint: Without and prior notice my mortgage payment went from {$770.00} inXX/XX/2018 to {$780.00} in XX/XX/2018. I called Pen Fed Mortgage Company this morning and was told that the payment had been increased by a decision made by the company in XX/XX/2018. I was told that the escrow payments were increased and that the new amount was due to tax and insurance increases. I asked the lady whether the company bothered to send a notice of increase and she said that there was no notice sent on record. I am totally bothered by the fact that this company can just raise the amount collected from direct deposit without notifying me of any increases.

Complaint: This creditor is reporting a paid and closed account with a XXXX balance as an open account paid satisfactory with a balance of {$19000.00} on my credit report. I called them to inform them and they had the audacity to tell me to send them my credit report to prove this so they can dispute it or Id have to give them permission to do a hard inquiry on my report to see that they are reporting this wrong. I refused both options of course because that makes no sense. In fact all Pen Fed has to do is report the account paid and closed with a XXXX balance especially when they show the account was paid in full and closed on XX/XX/2018. Its that simple. Credit bureaus only report what creditors send them not what they want as its a violation of consumer protection laws just like the company here is in violation for reporting inaccurate information in an effort to discredit my credibility with others. If they dont stop reporting this account as open with a balance I ask that it be reported to the FTC and they be charged for the violation. Theres no reason for me to send them anything as my business as far as this loan goes is done with them. I have kept up my end so they need to govern themselves accordingly.

Complaint: I have a loan with PENTAGON FCU. I have always made my payments on time. For some reason I realized that there was a late payment on my credit report. As you can see, I have always had a stellar payment record with this company. I tried contacting both XXXX, XXXX and PENTAGON FCU with no successful resolution. XXXX and XXXX were reporting me late. There was definitely an error on their part. I was never 30 days late XXXX 2018.

Complaint: I spoke with a representative with penfed credit union an offered me a re-age program to pay {$93.00} a month on my penfed credit card. My account wasn't past due. The representative stated I wouldn't be reported to the credit buero because I was offered a program to pay for 3 months the {$93.00} not my normal minimum payment. Well after paying the {$93.00} for 3 months, I was reported to the credit buero 30 days past due with no indication or notice I was late, after the representative told me I wouldn't be reported its was a safe program penfed offered to help pay off you credit card balance. I spoke with penfed and they said they don't record there calls, and they would try to fix it. Well they reported me current for the next month, but the 30 points I lost on the score didn't return. I would like a apology for them misleading me and my score dropping 30 points at no fault of mine.

Problem with rewards from credit card
Complaint: I applied and was approved for the PenFed Pathfinder Credit Card. The benefit includes a {$100.00} per year credit when using the card for baggage fees or in flight expenses ( food, drinks etc ).
On XX/XX/XXXX, i used the card for a {$3.00} expense - transaction # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX TX On XX/XX/XXXX, i used the card for a {$26.00} expense - transaction # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX TX On XX/XX/XXXX, I used the card for a {$14.00} transaction # XXXX, {$35.00} transaction # XXXX & {$16.00} transaction # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX TX The total above comes out to {$94.00}. I was told i would receive the credit as soon as an eligible transaction is made. I have not received ANY of the 5 credits mention above. In fact, I WAS TOLD that i had to pay the {$15.00} minimum payment due on XX/XX/XXXX. I even was charged interest on the balance because the bank DID not credit my account as it should had been. This bank is not issuing credit on-time and taking advantage of customers by leaving the balance and earning interest when the statement closes. I made the {$15.00} dollar payment and was charge {$1.00} in interest on a balance that should had never been there.
The only credit issued so far was the XXXX XXXX of {$100.00}, and that was credited about 4 days after use.

Complaint: I filed a fraud claim on several charges on XX/XX/XXXX. From XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX I called and emailed numerous times daily to either speak to someone in the fraud department or to have someone call me back in regards to my claim. I was consistently denied access to the department, being told different things in regards to my claim. I also asked to have a password added to my account so no one would be able to access it. I was told the paperwork would be overnighted and I would receive it by the XXXX of XXXX. It was sent standard ground mail and I did not receive it until XX/XX/XXXX. Finally, I was told that the manager of the fraud department would be calling me back in an hour on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX, CST. However, I did not receive a call until XXXX XXXX, CST. The manager XXXX XXXX had a horrible attitude, laughing as I explained the situation and implying that I was lying about the fraud. I explained that I already filed a police report with the Police Department and I already emailed it. She stated that they had never received an email from me, I explained I have every email chain including responses from people in her organization. She then stated that I had to complete an affidavit and have it notarized, mailing it back. I explained if that was the case I wanted the paperwork sent overnight to my address and I would do as asked. It is now XXXX XXXX, CST on the XX/XX/XXXX. I took an entire day off of work to be here when the paperwork came and it has not. In fact, nothing was sent. I spoke to the fraud analyst today, XXXX XXXX and sent her a copy of the police report that I have been given and for whatever reason she has insisted that it is not the correct report and that I have to send another report. I explained to her that the report I sent is the report I got directly from the headquarters of the Police Department and there was nothing additional I could do. It has literally been one thing after another dealing with Pentatgon Federal. From being called a liar, to having people give me illegitimate information in hopes of scaring me from reporting the fraud. It is my understanding that the bank has 10 business days to issue credit on my account, it has now been more than that and I have not been issued any credit. Instead, I have been given nasty attitudes, unprofessional feedback and information and no solution. I've been lied to numerous times about paperwork being sent to me and passwords being added to my account. I filed a claim on a {$270.00} charge previously that was never actually filed and until the XX/XX/XXXX no one was assigned to this claim, which is exactly what I wanted to avoid and why I continued to ask to speak to someone in the fraud department. It is also my understanding that the bank is to fight for me, not the other way around. It is absolutely unacceptable for any organization to carry themselves in the manner in which Pentagon Federal Credit Union has and against the law in regards to how they process fraud claims. For all I know, someone within their organization is omitting the fraud on my account.
