Complaint: ON XX/XX/2018 I CALLED PENFED AT XXXX, AND SPOKE WITH A GIRL NAMED XXXX. I EXPLAINED THAT AFTER GOING OVER MY STATEMENT I HAD FOUND A CHARGE I DID NOT APPROVE ON XX/XX/18 FOR {$1000.00} DONE BY XXXX XXXX. SHE TOOK MY FRAUD COMPLAINT AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD SEND OUT A NEW CARD AND ID GET A REFUND. THEN ON XX/XX/18 I WAS SENT A LETTER WHICH I HAVE ATTATCHED CLAIMING THAT BECAUSE I DID NOT SEND IT IN WRITING IN THE FIRST 60 DAYS I WILL NOT GET THIS CHARGE REMOVED! I AM VERY UPSET! Complaint: I am an XXXX XXXX servicemember. On XX/XX/2018, I applied for membership and a Power Cash Rewards credit card with Pentagon Federal Credit Union. On the date I applied, I had recently moved from my prior XXXX XXXX in XXXX to XXXX, XXXX.
On XX/XX/XXXX, PenFed member services instructed me to provide copies of a drivers license, utility bill, and social security card.
On XX/XX/XXXX, I complied, providing a copy of my license, a utility bill, and my social security card. The drivers license I provided listed my address from my first military duty station ( XXXX XXXX, XXXX ).
On XX/XX/XXXX, I was told I needed to provide a notarized id, utility bill and social security card. I called PenFed and asked why. The agent I spoke with told me my old XXXX drivers license was insufficient due to reflecting my old address. He told me that due to the PATRIOT ACT I would need to get a XXXX drivers license reflecting my current address.
I then obtained a XXXX drivers license.
On XX/XX/2018, I sent notarized copies of my utility bill, XXXX drivers license, and social security card. I can provide these upon request ( not attaching now due to PII ).
On XX/XX/2018, after multiple phone calls over several weeks to PenFed, I was told PenFeds Financial Intelligence Department could not verify my documents. I asked for an explanation as to why they could not verify my documents, and I was told they could not tell me why. I asked if there was an appeals process, and was told there was no appeals process. I asked to speak to the individuals supervisor. The supervisor told me my XXXX drivers license looked fake, and that was the reason for the denial. I made it clear I provided my XXXX driver 's license, and told the individual he essentially was accusing me of lying. I offered to re-send all of my documents, offered to provide a copy of my military orders, lease, and military ID, but was told there was no appeals process and no method of recourse.

Our initial payment arraigments where changed three time, twice before we left and then again a couple weeks later. We have gap insurance added on and come to find out our car is only worth XXXX We owe way more than this car will ever be worth. We need out of this car payment We returned a month later to have them fix the broken interior light thats when we to sign new papers again, We brought the car in for servicing and told them that the seat belt in the rear did not work. Complaint: I XXXX XXXX have recently gone through a great deal of personal hardship. This hardship was caused initially from a XXXX my husband had, along with his fight against XXXX. However, there are several credit cards where I was added on as a user only, and its time that I request the removal of my name off of the accounts of my husband XXXX XXXX. I also demand the deletion of these accounts from every pertinent credit reporting agencies, XXXX, XXXX and XXXX XXXX respectively. I believe its necessary to file my notice through the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, as I do not see these creditors working fairly or quickly. Accordingly, I request the deletion of these items from my credit bureaus and the purging of my information with each financial institution.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX hours, the City of XXXX XXXX Police Department verified on their database that Pentagon Federal Credit Union is responsible for having my privately owned vehicle, a XXXX XXXX XXXX - Platinum Trim, towed from my private and gated residential property located at XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, Texas for alleged non-payment. Again, I live in a gated community with a gate guard and where it is clearly posted there is camera surveillance throughout our entire private property.
My multiple and exhaustive efforts in attempting to communicate with someone from the Office of The Chairman or their elected legal representative via telephone, written and electronic correspondence have been ineffective and literally a waste of time.
Moreover, my countless efforts in attempting to communicate directly with numerous Executive Resolutions and Corporate Retention Departments for Pentagon Federal Credit Union have been met with an unreceptive demeanor to further consider all other alternatives available or to judiciously make certain exceptions to particular policies in place and take appropriate executive actions has been exhibited from every bank. This type of inefficient, ineffective and unreceptive behavior has been unfortunately demonstrated since XX/XX/XXXX.
Despite my extraneous and exhaustive efforts to avoid such federal and civil litigation from taking place, I have no other option left but to file a civil grievance and officially request for your organization 's assistance with the filing of a federal civil litigation against this American financial institution. Their unreceptive character and demeanor have drastically impacted not only my private wealth management and diversified financial portfolio, but has infiltrated and affected all of my personal, private and professional relationships and establishments - to include my own marriage and my entire family globally located in XXXX, D.C. ; XXXX XXXX, TX ; XXXX, TX ; XXXX XXXX, CA ; XXXX XXXX, CA ; XXXX XXXX, CA ; XXXX XXXX, CA ; and abroad in the XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX.

Complaint: I opened a bank account with PEDFED with intentions of building a relationship.I applied for a credit card during the process, I WAS APPROVED!!! for a XXXX Credit Line. I was then asked to send in proof of income, I did it was accepted. the customer service rep indicated that my income was high and they get a lot of fraud from XXXX XXXX. I waited 10 days the card never came. I called and I was told that the loan processor wanted to speak with me, I called back and I wasn't able to speak to the loan processor, but the The rep told me they wanted to verify my job, they pretended to call my job, never spoke to me, the guy name XXXX XXXX left a message from XXXX, I'm guessing he wanted to find out my race. I called XXXX back and never got him on the phone, the CSR told me that everything was find and they were sending the card via XXXX. I believed him, and waited a few more days and nothing came. I called back and I was told it was denied. I was shocked because it was already approved, that's not how it works. banks don't lie to their customers. So I wrote a letter asking to reconsider my request which was odd because this bank did everything possible not to honor my approval and then lied multiple times, sent out false letters of the reason.
I wrote : I was told twice that I was approved. I was told the card was sent out to me via XXXX XXXX yesterday I sent in my check stubs almost 2 weeks ago. I am gainfully employed earning a great income this year with no long-term debt. I was told someone from PenFed called my job and hung up, they have caller ID. I am requesting your reconsideration of the original credit line I was approved for, I have similar credit limits rarely used, My creditworthiness is not the issue. The letter has the wrong information. I am employed and I sent you proof of income.
I was then told via email to send in my taxes, I said OK but before I could do that I was treated like a criminal, I was told they really didn't want to see my taxes and that they have decided based on my ethnicity and location that they will continue to not honor my approval. Attached is them doing everything not to honor my approval.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 I contacted PenFed via phone to make a domestic wire transfer to fund an investment in XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. This was the third transfer to this fund made over the past three months. Previous transfers from PenFed totaled {$92000.00}. After a series of questions and verifications the agent indicated the transfer would be processed and I hung up.
On XX/XX/2018 I received an email that there was a problem with my account. I checked online and I was able to see that my funds were NOT transferred. I called an agent who said that they could not help me because the wire transfer department was closed and I would have to call back on Monday.
On Monday XX/XX/2018 I called back almost immediately when the customer service opened only to be told that it would be another 30 minutes before the wire transfer department was open.
I called back in 30 minutes and after lengthy periods on hold was told that the transfer could not be completed on Friday because the Federal Reserve was closed. I was assured the funds would be transferred quickly.
I contacted XXXX would said I have missed the investment deadline and would miss out on the profit for this period of investment. I was very upset.
I have checked my PenFed share account and I see that 7 days have passed and no transfer has taken place.
I have received no explanation from PenFed or notification that they did not fulfill my request.
I have suffered monetary damages due to PenFeds negligence, incompetence and deceit in handling my wire transfer.
