Complaint: In XX/XX/2018 I was contacted by a lawyer claiming to represent a creditor I owed from a loan. I made payment arrangements through said lawyer to avoid going to court. The amount due to the creditor was agreed upon as {$2400.00}. I made {$360.00} in payments between XXXX and XXXX of 2018. In XX/XX/2018 I noticed on my credit report that the balance was being reported as {$2300.00}, which is entirely incorrect as I had made payments which indicated my balance was {$2100.00}. I disputed the account through the XXXX Dispute process and the account was removed due to an incorrect balance being reported. Today XXXX XXXX, I received in my regular mail a notice of hearing for this account in which the lawyer is attempting to reinstate judgement due to failed payments. On the lawyers Motion he states that as of XXXX XXXX I have not made payments as agreed which is entirely false. They also state the judgement amount should be for {$2200.00} plus court costs which is also incorrect due to the payments I had previously made.

Complaint: XX/XX/2019, amount paid to me {$3000.00} dollars check. I need proof that this amount was paid to me on the date that's shown above from One Main Financial. Additional to that, XX/XX/2019 I need proof in writing with a copy of check from One Main Financial. {$5300.00} amount paid on prior account, XX/XX/2019. However, I was accused on XX/XX/2019 that I claimed I wanted to refinance and takeout an additional loan for my XXXX XXXX of {$5300.00}. The representative who was working with my title loan on XX/XX/2019 and XX/XX/2019 is ( XXXX XXXX ) she the one claimed that I said I wanted refinance my loan and I takeout additional loan in her possession. I had spoken with the Manager ( XXXX XXXX ) on multiple occasions regarding my concerns of what I state above, at the location in XXXX Ca. However, she redirected to the Executive Office OF Customer Care name ( XXXX XXXX ) sometimes inXX/XX/2019 I had spoken with her with the issues of above. For some reason, I am not getting the information I need to settle my account with the accurate Amounts. ( Amount Financed and Finance charged ). I definitely recalculated the amount that supposed to be issued to me on XX/XX/2019 by check. And the amount does not add up in my calculation. And numbers don't lie. Complaint: This is actually me having to re-open this complaint since One Main took over a month and still did not address my issues. My previous complaint consisted of : How can an already established customer who always make on-time payments for over a year, start off being approved by the lender up until you actually meet with their representative? This is how ... I contacted them to apply for a loan for an emergency and they told me approximately 24 hours later that I was approved as long as I bring in pretty much the same documents I was required to bring in the last loan I received through them. I brought in the documents and the minute she approached me ( the XXXX XXXX ) I immediately assumed she must've been having a bad day since her attitude, demeanor, and commentary was nothing like what I had experienced while speaking with her on the phone. I attempted to cheer her up by being complimenting but her attitude just continued to get worse. Then she started asking me for whatever documents she can come up with ( e.g, birth certificates, credit card & bank statements ) that had nothing to do with the list of requirements she expressed to me over the phone or nothing similar to the list of documents that I had to bring to them my last closing. It was then that I realized that she was attempting to figure out a way to turn me away for no other reason but my appearance since her attitude was nothing of the sort over the phone. My first loan officer was thorough, friendly, and willing to answer all questions since it was my first loan ever. This different/new One Main rep told me she no longer needed the documents and will get back to me the next morning. The next day she called to informed me that even though I had once been approved they decided to deny me and they will send me a letter with an explanation and she was rude enough to hang right up on me. Weeks later they sent me a letter stating only that I was denied and I would have to make a request in writing if I wanted to know the specific reason for their decision. Over a month later they sent me another letter saying that an application that I had never been given was incomplete. I had done everything I was expected to do, I maintained a great credit history with ONe Main with their extremely high interest rates, I brought in all documents required which included the same employer from the first loan, I even showed up to my appointment when asked and I still got mistreated and told anything. I am attaching both correspondences I received back from One Main regarding this loan. -concluded- Since this complaint over a month later One Main finally responds back alleging that, even though I exercised my right and had requested from them in writing the reason for their decision of denying me, my verification of income indicated fraud. Yet, their reason given upon request ( still attached ) said " incomplete application ''. They did not even take the time to verify the authenticity of my income as they did with my prior loan approval with them they just jumped to the conclusion that it resembled fraud, yet their false accusations does not explain why their representative from the beginning before exchanging any documents, was so rude and negative towards me the moment she saw me. It also does not explain why this representative acted as if she had requested me to bring in documents that I did not bring or why I would suddenly need my birth certificate, credit card & bank statements. How does a format constitutes me suddenly needing to conjure up never mentioned before documents. Just because the exact same employer that was already verified during my first One Main loan that was approved decides to use a format that resembles with what you label as fraud does not change not a single fact. The verification of income could have easily been verified besides just looking at the XXXX of ones skin or a format on paper just like the previous representative managed to verify my income through my exact same employer. The fact is still evident by their own admittance that my rights was violated since I do reserve the right to know why I was denied upon request, and One Main denied me that right. One Main also claimed to be " committed '' to being non-discriminatory, yet, instead of recognizing that one obviously slipped through the cracks and attempting to repair it they decide to use defense tactics and point the finger since I am just one person and they are a whole company that still managed to take over a month to come up with a reply that still violates my rights.

Complaint: I had called the first week in XXXX, I was laid off and wanted to see if they could help. I was told they could modify the payment for two months, from XXXX. To XXXX, they sent paperwork I signed and was told all good. First payment I made that day was correct, second payment full amount was taken. I called to try to resolve this and was told by XXXX I was wrong, he had notes and recorded call. I asked for the paperwork to be emailed to me and to pull call. I never got paperwork, and was told he was not sure how to get call pulled and could not give a timeline. I also set up a new due date in XXXX, and they did not set it up until I called after they took the payment on the old date and was told it fell through the cracks.

Complaint: I have previously sent in a complaint against this company for this exact reason. I also spoke with someone in the corporate department, and she assured me this would be handled. I told her I was to not be contacted unless I ran a month behind. It is the XXXX of XXXX, this company called my cell phone first as to which I couldn't answer because I am at work. They then proceeded to call my work phone AFTER I asked them to put a " DNC '' Do Not Call on the account. I mail my payments in, and I have mailed them a check for last month and a check for this one as well. It is XX/XX/XXXX, my payment due date is the XXXX of every month. XXXX also speaks with a condescending tone and regularly cuts me off when asking questions. Again, these people have the title to my vehicle. I will always pay it, I was waiting for my new bank to send me checks. If these people call me again, I will pursue a lawyer. Especially when I am not even a month past due. XXXX is the person who keeps calling me. I also, told her for the second time, do not call me at work. I am done playing with this company. This is the last time before I take further action against them.

Complaint: Dear Bureau : About 1 year and 4 months ago, I decided to refinance my car with OneMain financial. At that time the staff of One Main proceeded to explain the details of the loan, it was quick and a lot of information to assimilate at the same time. Anyways, I applied and I was approved, the details are broken down in the attached document. My previous loan with XXXX XXXX was XXXX that they proceeded to pay and on that amount they also financed an amount of XXXX, for a total of XXXX ( OneMain loan plus the daily interest payment on this principal amount ) Since XX/XX/XXXX I have been paying around XXXX dollars per month every month, many times with a lot of sacrifice as you will see attached the bank 's emails of " insufficient funds ''. This loan with ONEMAIN has cost me my emotional tranquility, this debt is unsustainable, by itself and also because my emotional and financial situation is in detriment. I asked for help, OneMain offered me a loan deferment for 2 months ( document attached ) which actually ended up making things worse because the process was not explained clearly to me ) and it ended up adding late fees. In the last months I have suffered several difficult situations, among them my mother 's illness in the middle of XXXX until her passing in XX/XX/XXXX ( I had to be responsible for medication and funeral costs ), I have also been forced to sign with a XXXX XXXX XXXX to pay my credit cards to the limit since it has spiraled out of control, my health It is deteriorating and I have had more than 10 visits to the doctor in the last two or three months ( XXXX, XXXX, XXXX problems, among other ), on top of all other expenses and daily situations that occur in life. I appeal to One Main through you, to request help in these difficult times emotionally and financially, for a restructuring of this loan, interest reduction, or any help that can decompress my situation in these difficult moments. Complaint: Upon checking my credit report on XX/XX/XXXX, I observed unauthorized hard inquirys on my credit report with XXXX, XXXX and XXXX from a unknown companies such as One Main XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. These hard inquirys was not authorized by me and was done without my consent. I have been a victim of fraud a while back and periodically check my credit report. I am requesting for these companies/ creditor to remove any inquiries associated with these companys above from my credit report. Attached is document showing that is on my credit report from all 3 credit bureaus and is damaging my credit. I have no service with them, havent applied for any service with them nor have any obligation as well.
