Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 My wife and I sold our home and paid off a second mortgage. We moved to Wisconsin to be closer to family when we retire. One Main Mortgage reported the account paid in full. XXXX reported it as a short sale. The mortgage company says they did not report it this way and the credit report says they did. While they are pointing fingers at each other we were told that we CAN NOT PURCHASE A HOME FOR THREE YEARS!!!!! While they may not care or feel amused by this I assure you we are not. My wife and I would appreciate any help in this matter.

Complaint: This specific one involves OneMainFinancial. I unfortunately lost my job XX/XX/17 after XXXXyrs. I carried the insurance to cover all possible if anything likeso or else happened to hinder me from paying my bill. Prior to this, never late being automatically withdrawn from my account. When this happened and no income, all paperwork for this was taken to the office here making them aware as well as no unemployment etc. I am now getting a notice from XXXX and XXXX, XXXX in attempt to collect this debt in the amount of {$6500.00}! In no way do I feel this is appropriately taken care of nor does it need to be appearing on my credit report as for against me as well. This has been a tremendously challenging event for my family and I to say the least. My health has been the main reason for landing me to not being able to work. If a way of so and to pay my bills as I have my entire working life, by all means I would be. The unfortunate thing that I never thought would happen did though. Thinking of that insurance always making sure if having would be there surely obviously not. I would greatly appreciate the help if anything in any way with this matter. Thx in advance for the time.

Complaint: I applied for this loan online and was contacted by a local office. My credit score was good, somewhere XXXX. These days I decided to go over the loan paperwork and was frustrated how they charge me and how little goes to the principal every month. I am on paperless bills, so I never actually went through details. The most misleading is how they introduce their product online, and what you are sold at the end. I am expecting from them the pay off balance now. I was very frustrated when went to check again how much I should repay. This kind of personal loan should do not exist. If they are allowed, they should be sold to people with credit below 500. It is a shame to call this service a financing service.

Complaint: I used to be a Consumer Loan Originator for OneMain Financial. I'm writing this complain to report my manager for actively discouraging employees from completing proper investigation into fraud alerts on consumer accounts. Names on titled loans were checked by calling a private licensing office and no effort was ever made to ask about or investigate fraud alerts on consumer accounts. I had several instances when I raised concern about fraud on consumer accounts only to be assuaged by my manager that we should lend out money with no further request for questioning or documentation. An extreme of this situation would be a consumer who applied with 17 cars and no money to start a business. My manager told me not to worry about the situation and to try to secure a loan on one of his vehicles without any further questioning.

I have received 9 calls from various numbers since XX/XX/19. I have looked up every number and they all say One Main Financial. As I block a number, they call from a different location.I have spoken with them several times to voice my concern about the harassing calls but they continue. They told me they can call several times a day. I have gone online and scheduled a payment for XX/XX/XXXX. I owe {$320.00}, I've scheduled a payment for {$250.00} today online. Leaving {$78.00} balance to make me current. The payment has to show on their end.
