Account information incorrect
Complaint: In the summer of 2018 I asked XXXX for a skip a payment option. It was approved but for some reason seems to have caused some confusion on my loan. After that request XXXX reported a 30 day late payment in the month of XXXX to XXXX. XXXX also reported a 30 day late to XXXX for the month of XXXX but marked the month of XXXX ok on XXXX. Same applies to XXXX, XXXX reported a 30 day late to XXXX but marked XXXX as ok on XXXX. So the company has reported inconsistent information during the time that I was approved for a skip a payment. This 30 day late keeps fluctuating between XXXX & XXXX between reports.

Complaint: My XXXX XXXX XXXX model was smashed into while I was towing it during a move from XXXX to XXXX XX/XX/2018. My Vehicle was then declared totaled by XXXX my insurance carrier in XX/XX/2018. XXXX worked with XXXX XXXX ( at fault drivers insurance ) and Nissan Financial from XXXX toXX/XX/2018 to determine the payout amount. In XXXX XXXX paid Nissan Financial aka NMAC close to {$11000.00}. I didnt have GAP insurance so I had to pay the balance about {$1600.00} to NMAC in XX/XX/2018. The vehicle is paid off XXXX balance. NMAC is reporting a missed payment on my credit report in XX/XX/2018. I have disputed it with all three credit bureaus numerous times with negative results. I have called NMAC and they refused to change it on my credit report. Im a XXXX Veteran and I can not use my VA loan to purchase a home in XX/XX/XXXX because this one missed payment error destroyed my credit score. Please help me with correcting this error and have XXXX take it off the three credit bureaus. Thank you.

Frequent or repeated calls
Complaint: Nissan Collections dept have threatened me by telling me he will take action on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX CST when I wasnt a full payment behind. Monthly Pmt is XXXX as I made a partial payment on XX/XX/XXXX of {$500.00}. Payment is due on the first. There is a 15 day grace period. I was {$180.00} delinquent/past due for XX/XX/XXXX + XXXX from XX/XX/XXXX.= {$370.00}. Nissan added {$52.00} late fee when I made the partial payment on time prior they charged a totally different late fee charg the next mon, getting higher of {$65.00}. Collector XXXX very rude, said how will you make your payment today, I said I will pay on the XX/XX/XXXX, he said I need a payment today. I said for the 2nd time-I cant make it right now I was laid off and wont have it til next week. He said if you dont pay by the XX/XX/XXXX we will take action. I said what is your name? XXXX. He asked me again ; yelling at me and said I need your payment today. I said it again, I said how dare you, who do you think you are? This man asked the same question 3 times and refused to take my answer. I will pay next week. For the 3rd time he asked when will you make your payment and I said I told you on the XX/XX/XXXX. He hung up on me. The very next day sounded like the same person ; very rude, on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX, not even 24 hours and called to ask the same question-when will you make your payment I said on the XX/XX/XXXX, he demanded me to make a payment over the phone that day or they will start action on XX/XX/XXXX. I said I dont owe a full payment. He disregarded what I said and threatened to take action as he needed my payment that day. I said you just called yesterday and I informed you that I would make pmt next week. Why are you calling again, you totally disregarded my answer and nothing has changed. He said We will take action, we went back and forth with the same info repeatedly. I said Because Im past due does not give you authority to be rude and aggressive, how dare youHe said you ran out of deferments and we need a payment today. I said I dont have it today. He insisted on me making a payment as I made it clear and repeatedly. I am trying and I have made efforts in paying as much as I could while being unemployed. Nissan does not want to work with me and has threatened me to make account current due to more than half partial payments. Im paying every month, atleast {$500.00} or more and he says they are taking action. To call me again less than 24 hours to ask the same question is a Threat. Nissan was calling 4 to 5 times a day due to a partial pmt. The last call was XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX and I told her I just made a pmt. I told her about the previous harassing calls and threats and since, never received a call. I never told Nissan to not call me ; however if I tell them Im making a pmt next week and call me less than 24 hours the next day is a threat and unacceptable. I dont have a prob with the calls but 5 times a day is harassment. They can call me as I never said they couldnt ; however they do not have the authority to threaten and harass me. I have been more than cooperative and this treatment as to how they communicate is just unfair. See history of phone calls.

Credit denial
Complaint: On XX/XX/2019, at approximately XXXX XXXX. my husband and I went to XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NJ XXXX to shop for a new vehicle ( XXXX XXXX ) as our lease is ending on our current vehicle ( an XXXX XXXX ). There we were met by XXXX XXXX ( Product Specialist ) and test drove the new vehicle. After deciding to move forward with a new lease, XXXX stepped away to meet with his sales manager, XXXX XXXX. Upon returning, XXXX provided us a monthly payment amount. When we were dissatisfied with the amount XXXX told us that this car wasn't for us because we couldn't afford the payments. Never once did they pull our credit or confirm our income. My husband and I are two highly compensated professionals. At this point, XXXX left and met with XXXX once more. When XXXX returned, XXXX accompanied him. When we met XXXX, he made a comment to us about the way we were dressed and asked if we called one another prior to coordinate. This rude comment was uncalled for, XXXX, and completely out of line and sync with reality. XXXX walked us through the pricing when I told him I had a better deal at another XXXX dealership. He asked to see my personal email from the other dealer. When I refused to show him he stated that it could not have been right - insinuating we were liars. At this point, we had enough and left.
Approximately 15-20 minutes later XXXX called and continued to try and discuss lease terms. Later that afternoon, we made a complaint through Infiniti 's corporate site and with XXXX XXXX. To exacerbate the situation we reviewed customer comments from others on XXXX and social media - we were shocked that this company has also treated others this way. More so, the others that were treated this way all had ethnic names such as myself.
Then on Monday, XX/XX/XXXX at approximately XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, the general manager, called to discuss what happened. After some discussion I asked him what he planned to do to ease this situation, he said : " I don't think we should do business together. '' After hearing this comment from him, I could no longer engage in hearing someone spew such hatred commentary.
This company should be held responsible for such behavior - to assume anyone, regardless of race, gender, or sexual orientation can not afford a car is deplorable.

Debt was paid
Complaint: I have been in contact with XXXX XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and XXXX XXXX XXXX dealership in XXXX XXXX, CA to resolve an outstanding amount of {$1000.00}. I have had many many phone calls, emails, and correspondence with all three over the last few months and need this issue to be resolved. The following is the information I have collected and noted after various phone calls and group calls with all of these entities.
XXXX XXXX has taken me to collections for {$1000.00}. XXXX XXXX claims the {$1000.00} is because XXXX noted there was a previous claim taken out on the XXXX XXXX XXXX in which the damages were not repaired. This is incorrect and a letter from XXXX is attached stating so. This needs to be fixed on Nissans end. XXXX XXXX claims that my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX has no GAP. This is also incorrect. Email correspondence that I had with XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX also states this is an error. I also spoke with the manager, and the salesperson who sold me the lease, XXXX XXXX. The two of them along with Finance Director, XXXX, XXXX clearly stated to me, in person, that ALL California Leases with Nissan automatically come with GAP insurance. They reassured me over and over that this is the case. They printed my contract, read it with me, and showed me in person that I should not be held liable. They said it doesnt make sense that I am being charged for anything as I held full coverage with XXXX, had paid everything to XXXX in order to close my account with them, and that all Nissan leases in California DO come with GAP. Again, this is coming from XXXX XXXX XXXX where I leased the XXXX from. I faxed XXXX XXXX and told them to follow up with them on this to resolve it and never heard back. XXXX XXXX has told me on the phone and through correspondence with XXXX that they were in fact underpaid by XXXX, and not by me, therefore, I do not owe the debt being collected by Nissan. XXXX says they paid out Nissan when Nissan requested the amount in XX/XX/XXXX when the car was totaled, and that if Nissan believes that XXXX owes them money, then Nissan is the one who needs to contact XXXX to fix this instead of taking me to collections. Nissan states a deductible was not paid, XXXX says it was paid. Nissan needs to resolve all charges with XXXX, as no claim has ever been taken out on the XXXX XXXX previous to the total loss in XX/XX/XXXX and there were no pre-existing damages to the vehicle.
I will include personal notes I have taken over time, the email correspondence I had with XXXX XXXX XXXX Finance Director XXXX XXXX, and with the representative, I spoke with at XXXX, XXXX XXXX. The letter from XXXX showing I have no outstanding amounts due at XXXX and that the only claim ever to be taken out on the entire history of the XXXX XXXX XXXX was for the total loss of the vehicle. Previous claims for any pre-existing damages never existed.

Billing problem
Complaint: This is not a problem with the vehicle - which was fine. This is purely a problem with XXXX XXXX XXXX billing me for additional lease payments after I have completed all my payments. XXXX XXXX even sent me a notice that I am " past due '' on a lease payment. This is affecting my credit rating, and it is harassment to be hounded for payments that I do not owe.
I leased an XXXX XXXX for three years. The lease ( account ending XXXX ) ended XX/XX/2019. I returned the car on XX/XX/2019. During the three-years, I never missed a payment or was late on a payment. XXXX emailed me on XX/XX/2019, to confirm that I had completed my final payment due.
But now XXXX XXXX persists in making statements that I still owe monthly payments on the lease. On XX/XX/2019, XXXX claimed in an email that I was past due.
I repeatedly asked XXXX to stop publishing false and libelous statements claiming that I am defaulting on payments. I have an excellent credit rating and am concerned that XXXX false claims will impact me financially.
I sent emails to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, explaining its error. I engaged XXXX in an online chat. But XXXX refuses to acknowledge the error, and it refuses to stop the false statements about me.
It appears that XXXX will not reasonably respond.

Problem extending the lease
Complaint: This is my second attempt to find fair and just treatment at the end of my lease relationship with Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.
Not only have they improperly reported me late to the credit bureaus which dropped my credit score by XXXX points, but they claimed that my relationship with them was resolved when it is clearly not resolved.
Though my lease with NMAC is now current, that company is still trying to bill me for issues that were caused by them and not me. This is, specifically, their inability to process video tolls in a timely fashion which caused the very small tolls ( under {$5.00} in every case ) to increase to over {$50.00} in every case, due to the penalties that were added to the tolls. These tolls were NEVER sent to me and were always sent to them for payment, as the registered owner of the vehicle,. In addition, they have charged me late payment fees with NO explanation. as I do not believe I incurred any late payment fees even though NMAC claims that I have paid late almost two years ago.
How much additional proof does the CFPB need before they declare NMAC a predatory lending institution and fine them accordingly?
If nothing else, please have NMAC send a letter of explanation to the credit bureaus so my FICO score will rebound and have them take the responsibility for the video toll penalties so that I can pay the actual tolls.

Complaint: Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation / XXXX XXXX has for the second time fraudulently reported a 30 day or more late payment on my credit reports for XX/XX/2019. this issue was filed on the CFPB and the credit agencies last month and Nissan has falsely claimed in response to CFPB and to myself that they had made a mistake and that it will be fixed accordingly. I found out recently that they have reported the same false reporting intentionally damaging my credit and costing me much money and my job.
Again : XXXX was 28 days, and the payment I made on XX/XX/XXXX is XXXX calendar days from the due date and NOT 30 DAYS.
XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX have a few bad apples in their credit department and they are seeking personal vendettas against many customers, I'm one of those customers. If Nissan fraudulently lies to the CFPB and myself again about acknowledging and fixing this issue and yet playing it under the table to keep on submitting wrongful information they will be sued for damages and reported to the main stream media.

Billing problem
Complaint: A loan payment was submitted online on XX/XX/2019. The online summary of the account shows the payment booking then reversing. The bank account for which the payment was to be drafted shows the draft going thru on XX/XX/2019. It has not posted to the account. After several phone calls, a letter with a copy of the bank statement showing the draft on XX/XX/XXXX was faxed to the help desk on XX/XX/2019. Spoke with XXXX again on or around XX/XX/XXXX to confirm they received the fax, since no confirmation was provided. They confirmed they received the package.
As of today, the payment still has not been posted, the account has been reported to the credit bureaus as late and interest is still accruing. It should not take almost 6 weeks to find and post the payment

Problem with additional products or services purchased with the loan
Complaint: I selected a vehicle XXXX at the XXXX Florida Infiniti store located at NMAC XXXX XXXX, XXXX TX, XXXX. Customer service # XXXX.
Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing this complaint due to an agreement that I was promised when I leased my XXXX vehicle during the month of XX/XX/2016 at the Infiniti of XXXX store located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX Florida XXXX XXXX # XXXX XXXX XXXX.
I was promised free maintenance on my vehicle for the term of the lease contract however when I first went in for my initial maintenance check there was nothing in the maintenance system that I had maintenance coverage for my vehicle and I then told him it was suppose to be in the system because I was promised it free for his manager / sales manager selling the vehicle I had selected sold my vehicle to someone else therefore for selling it to some lady customer that wanted a darker gray in lieu of the silver that was available that I ended up getting after he told me he would make the mistake up to me by giving me free maintenance on my vehicle for the life of my contract however later while checking my contract with Nissan it was discovered I was charged for my maintenance contract which I believe was done after my inquiry during my first maintenance visit. I also discovered that someone signed and initial a maintenance document on my behalf because the salesman tried putting a maintenance document in my original set of paperwork and I told him your manager stated that my maintenance was suppose to be free due to the mix-up on the car that I selected and sold to lady I mentioned previously I believe his name was XXXX XXXX and he now works next door for the XXXX dealership. I am requesting that I be reimbursed for the maintenance contract I was charged for and all interests and fees associated with the term of my lease which is still open until next year. In addition I believe my lease should be terminated immediately due to the misuse of my information inappropriately and the signing of documents that were not signed by me.

Problem when attempting to purchase vehicle at the end of the lease
Complaint: I would like to pay off my car lease. But NMAC/XXXX XXXX has blocked my online account, making that impossible. When it was active, ( before XXXX XXXX closed it ), I deliberately changed my permissions, so Nissan would stop calling me over and over, with people who are such " hard salespeople '', I feel I can not trust and have not given me the whole picture. Since I have cut off phone comunication, NMAC Finance is perfectly welcome to communicate with me in writing through the mail.
And yet, no letter has arrived. Though I keep receiving unwanted call after call after call. Yes, we have business to complete. It sending late messages to my credit report. Yet it not allowing me to pay. I would like to do that. How can a company hit your credit repeatedly, without even sending a letter about it? Especially over a few thousand dollars. This is ridiculous. People can be ruined while NMAC sits by and believes that debt-collecting houds are a proper way to do business. All I want is for them to contact me in writing and to pay them. In the latest call, I can not even tell if the rep could accurately capture what I was talking about, based on his English. ( And I am very much ok with foreign call centers in general ).
But I do know that Nissan should not be calling me, and that I WANT to pay Nissan Finance, but Nissan Finance appears to be deliberately making that impossible.

Debt is not yours
Complaint: Dismissed bankruptcy in XXXX that included an account with NMAC for a XXXX XXXX XXXX. Contacted NISSAN to try to negotiate to keep the vehicle around the time of the dismissal but wasn't successful and agreed to surrender the vehicle to my local Nissan dealership. Was told they would contact me once they had possession of the vehicle. After a few weeks, didn't hear from them, reached back out and was told they didn't know the vehicle had been surrendered and once they have possession, they would reach out with balances, redemption amount, etc. As of XX/XX/XXXX - nothing and I assume the vehicle has been sold now as I have an entry on my credit report for {$15000.00} owed to NMAC. This is really hurting my ability to obtain anything. According to Alabama Law, I was to receive an opportunity to redeem the vehicle and/or a post-surrender notice, none of which I have received. I have contacted NMAC via a demand letter.

Problem with product or service terms changing
Complaint: I purchased an XXXX and was financed with XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX in which my first payment was not due until XX/XX/XXXX. Unfortunately, after I purchased the vehicle, the government was shut down and I was on furlough and just last month received my retro pay. Due to this I requested a balloon payment or some sort of assistance in making my first payment as I had no money or means to make it and desperately did not want to miss the payment or have it negatively affect my credit report.
I was told in early XXXX that they had placed the request and I would be receiving the forms to review, confirm, and sign and since it was shutdown, they would only put one, instead of the two, payments to the rear. After 10 business days, I noticed I had not received the forms and called to inquire, in which time I was advised that they were not sent, as the representative did not send them because although she said the manger had approved it, they did not sign it. They then stated they had put in another request and I would be receiving the forms again in the mail. I waited again and now the due date, which is XX/XX/XXXX was her and I was getting anxious and nervous as I was still without funding and no work. When I called back I was told that I was misinformed the entire time and they had no relief for the shutdown victims unfortunately and that I need to make a payment asap to avoid a negative remark on my credit and have a late fee. Of course, I was very upset and had to scramble to make the full {$740.00} payment and now am at a total financial hardship as to where I could not even make the payment in full on time last months and trying to recover from everything has been challenge and not to mention a total financial hardship.
I placed a request in two week ago for some assistance again and advised the payment would be late but was there anything they could do because of the circumstances and requested to have a courtesy credit mark removeable, as they reported late, and my credit has gone down an entire 30 points, which is very hurtful to me and my credit. Although the request was placed, again when I call them I get the run around and no word yet if it was or was not approved.
With all being considered and reviewed, I am desperately requesting that they do a one-time courtesy removal of the negative mark on my credit report ASAP. I want a confirmation of the approval for it too, so I can have to send to the credit bureaus to ensure they remove it in a timely fashion.
