I contacted Nissan to get this corrected and I disputed with the credit XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. Nothing has been done to corrected. I was never late or owed any other monies to Nissan. Everything was paid off including property taxes.

Struggling to pay your loan

Vehicle loan or lease: Loan

Lender trying to repossess or disable the vehicle
Complaint: My vehicle was picked up by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX per NMAC orders. Car was operating perfectly fine before pickup. After day four of being at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX the vehicle was transferred to XXXX XXXX XXXX. Nissan gave me 10 days to pick up my car and I was not notified by no one that the was transferred somewhere else after day four. I had to find that out by myself. Nissan said in their policy the car can get transferred to a auto auction anytime during those 10 days. I paid the monies to reinstate the vehicle on XX/XX/XXXX. I was told that I had until XX/XX/XXXX to pick up the car from the auto auction. I went to pick up my vehicle from XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX only to find out the vehicle is not operating. Supposedly between XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX someone tried cutting keys for the vehicle causing the vehicle to not start. I was at XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX for 2 hours while they tried fixing the problem and they were not able to fix it. The car will not start with the master key either. At XXXX they refuse to give me something in writing stating that I was there and they tried fixing the vehicle for 2 hours and the end result is that the car is not working. At first they told me they're the ones that cut the keys then they said it was XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. At XXXX XXXX XXXX they treated me like XXXX. At first the supervisor said he was going to send Nissan a email letting them know the car is having issues and he was going to print and give me a copy, then he said he can not give me anything in writing. It was after hours on Friday XX/XX/XXXX so I had to wait until Monday XX/XX/XXXX to contact Nissan. No one from the Auto Auction contacted Nissan to let them aware of the situation on hand either. My entire experience with Nissan throughout this process have be very sickening. Nissan representatives showed no care, concern or tried to help. I informed them of what happened and they gave me a XXXX number to call so i can file a claim. When I contacted the Claims department at XXXX XXXX I was told they will only investigate what happened at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, but not anything that happened at the Auto Auction. I was sent a claim document to fill out and send back and I did complete it and send it back along with a copy of the video from the auto auction attached. I contact Nissan on XX/XX/XXXX around XXXX XXXX and spoke with a supervisor because at this point I am out of patience. I paid to reinstate my car loan and still without a car. I explained everything to the supervisor and of course she did not seems to have any concerns. I ask if there is a way they can provide me a back up car while they're doing their investigation. I was told no they can't help me in that situation. The supervisor said she will get with her manager to see if there is anything they can do and follow up with me on XX/XX/XXXX. She called me back on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX and said she contacted the auto auction and was told the issue with the car is a battery issue. I then asked her how it is going from a re-keying issue to a battery issue. I advised her that I was at the auto auction for 2 hours and they said they tried to charge the battery and that was not the issue, but they're saying it is now. I informed her that I don't feel secure taking the car from the auto auction without a mechanic looking at it and making sure it is in fact a battery issue. I was told Nissan can't do that either. I will have to file a complaint with the auto auction. She of course sounded like she believe the auto auction over me. She said the auto auction wants me to make another appointment to pick up the vehicle. I asked her if I take the car home for a couple of days and it stop working what is going to happen. She said I will have to file complaint with the auto auction because Nissan is not responsible. At this point I feel so lost. Nissan just throw me out there in the woods and want me to handle this myself. I am so confused and this is causing a me a lot of stress because I paid for the car and don't have a working car and Nissan just don't seems to care. I did mentioned to the rep that it is my fault why the car got reprocessed, but its not my fault why I was unemployed and had to default on my loan. I also added that it is not fair that they picked up my car in perfect condition and now the car is damaged they don't want to deal with it. I been with Nissan since XX/XX/XXXX and they have the worst customer service ever. My entire family got their cars from Nissan and I will never ever purchase another car from Nissan or ever recommend anyone to a Nissan dealership. Customer service comes first and when your company instill those values into their employees, they usually go above and beyond and in this case Nissan has not met these expectations. I expected as a consumer you are to be treated with dignity and fairly and my experience with Nissan took that away from me.

Problems at the end of the loan or lease

Vehicle loan or lease: Lease

Problem while selling or giving up the vehicle
Complaint: Attempted to buy vehicle out of lease. Nissan Motor Acceptance provided incorrect information on payoff procedure. They informed us that payoff could be handled through their office, when in fact payout needed to be processed through a Nissan dealership. They instructed us to send them a payoff check. Three different individuals provided three different payoff amounts before settling on a final payoff amount. We sent them a payoff check for the agreed amount, which they did not apply. When we called to inquire why they had not applied the check, they did not timely provide information as to why. We specifically asked if the delay would negatively affect our credit. They informed us that it would not affect our credit. However, without sending us notification, they instead reported us late to credit agencies. When we requested that they review our numerous good-faith contacts with them to settle the lease contract, and to review our good payment history, they refused to removed the late payments from their credit reporting. Nissan Motor Acceptance did not provide correct payoff amounts to settle our lease contract. Nissan Motor Acceptance failed to provide correct information or procedures to turn in its vehicle. Nissan Motor Acceptance failed to apply funds that they specifically requested from us, and failed to communicate that they had not applied the funds. Nissan Motor Acceptance incorrectly stated that the delay in processing our payoff would not affect our credit. Nissan Motor Acceptance erroneously reported us late to credit agencies. Nissan Motor Acceptance refused to reasonably review our good-faith efforts to settle the lease contract and correct our credit history.

Debt collection: Auto debt

Threatened or suggested your credit would be damaged
Complaint: NOTICE- Step 2 of 5 gives me limited choices, the only reason for my choice in step 2 is that it closely refers to my situation by way of credit report. To explain on XX/XX/XXXX I purchased a XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX in CA from XXXX XXXX, the commercial vehicle manager. He requested info about my LLC as well and I was certain this was a commercial lease. Regardless, the problem that followed was I found the XXXX to be unstable it was a basic XXXX XXXX, my test drive at Nissan was not on the freeway but around the dealership. So driving it on the freeway was a horrendous experience. Emailed XXXX XXXX. He advised bring XXXX in for inspection. Upon inspection he claimed " there is no problem '' yet a third party mechanic found the issue, Nissan was not willing to work with me, I decided to return the vehicle, voluntary surrender. On XX/XX/XXXX I received certified mail " Notice of right to reinstate contract and redeem vehicle ''. ( having discussed with third party mechanic, I decided to accept offer, have the repair done privately and save my credit ) so I accepted the offer by signing and section " E '' - right to request extension of time to reinstate contract or redeem " which gave me an additional 10 days plus the standard 20 days from date of notice XX/XX/XXXX ( which was weird since I only received the notice on XX/XX/XXXX but I knew this gave me ample time for Nissan to work with me and promptly mailed off the acceptance via certified mail and extension to the address XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX. During this time I was never late and attempting to reinstate my contract but Nissan failed to honor the offer to reinstate. The certified mail with my acceptance to reinstate was delivered to Nissan well before deadline. The certified mail tracking confirms this. Why then was I told by XXXX XXXX on or around the XX/XX/XXXX that " its too late the vehicle is sold? I advised that I received a notice to reinstate but he said no the vehicle " is gone '', no offer to make ''. Did Nissan have any intention to reinstate or did they send out the notice as a pretext to comply with state law since I was never delinquent on the auto payment? I am utterly disappointed and I need clarification as to what went wrong? Why was Nissan so quick to report on my credit while in negotiations with me to reinstate? Why was the vehicle sold on XX/XX/XXXX, per the notice dated XX/XX/XXXX I received from Nissan?

Problems at the end of the loan or lease

Vehicle loan or lease: Lease

Problem when attempting to purchase vehicle at the end of the lease
Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I came to XXXX XXXX XXXX dealership to buy out our car XXXX XXXX XXXX, which was on a lease for 3 years since XX/XX/XXXX. The lease was originated for my husband after I searched for and decided on leasing the XXXX XXXX XXXX. We had a cap on miles XXXX miles for the whole 36-month lease period. Current miles on odometer are XXXX. We would like to buy our car and received a buyout amount from NMAC. As I was told on the phone by NMAC, I came to the dealership to apply for financing. My goal was to prepare to find out how much it will cost the purchase the XXXX XXXX with taxes, insurance, title and ect. I wanted to do all I can in advance so my husband could come and sign prepared documents. He has very busy schedule at work and doesnt have time to spend hours and hours and hours at the dealership getting a run-around. ALL dealers and representatives attempted to sell me a new car, when each person was told that I simply wanted to buy the car we were leasing. Nissan dealership representative XXXX called my husband and took his permission to run his credit. After that XXXX got busy with the paperwork and submitted his info for approval. In about 49 minutes I was told that they got approval through XXXX and he will make all paperwork for my husband to sign. But we have to put down {$1000.00} and monthly payments would be around {$380.00}. I called my husband and he agreed to come and sign. We agreed that we will come on Friday, XX/XX/XXXX, or the first available day for my husband to get off work early on following week. I came once again on XXXX XXXX just to be sure that we are still on track. XXXX said he was leaving on vacation and XXXX will take care of us. I was introduced to XXXX and he sat down with me to go through the paperwork again and told me to come on XX/XX/XXXX with my husband. I said that we can come after 4 and we agreed that we would be there around 5 pm. When we came XXXX was not there but we were assured that somebody else will work on our paperwork and everything will be ready to sign shortly. After nearly 2 hours of waiting, we were informed that they have too many other people ( customers ), to prepare our paperwork will take 3 hours, and they dont have time for it because of other clients and the short time before closing. We were sent home and asked to come on Saturday, XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX when XXXX will be there. We came on XX/XX/XXXX, and after waiting for another hour XXXX told me that we have to put {$1600.00} down not, {$1000.00}, but it would be better anyway to buy a new car, and he called XXXX from XXXX XXXX New Car Dealership. We were sent to there to do the trade. We were told that they dont have results of my husband credit score and have to run it again. I spent the whole day at the dealership, from XXXX XXXX. until XXXX XXXX and at the end we were told that because of low credit scores and over-miliage on our lease they cant get approval for my husband to buy out our leased car. But what they CAN do is to approve me for a new car with {$700.00} a month payment and {$500.00} down. In that case my husband had to drop off our lease car and stuck with payments for over miliage and I will have a car to drive. My credit score is only 2 points higher than my husbands. The new car price was {$20000.00}. And that wouldnt solve our lease problem because the leased car would had to be dropped at the dealership and my husband stuck with payments for over-miles. This treatment is beyond unethical. I dont understand why we are approved to buy a car for {$20000.00}, but my husband with stable high income, or I were NOT approved to purchase our lease car for {$11000.00}. I consider this run-around nothing more than a bait-and-switch fraud and massively unnecessary pressure to get your customers into financial disaster. The dealer was repeatedly telling me that its because of how many miles we have in our car. We want to finance the purchase of that car! We agree to pay monthly payments as we did for 3 years for that car with whatever miles it has. Are Nissan 's cars so fragile that XXXX miles renders the car wortless? We request Nissan Main office take a look at our situation and finance us for the car we want which is twice cheaper that the dealer wants to SELL, SELL, SELL to us. The dead line to purchase our car from the lease is XX/XX/XXXX. I refuse to be emotionally abused further and let more numerous Nissan Dealer Representatives take advantage of me and my family for any reason in the this situation.

Problems at the end of the loan or lease

Vehicle loan or lease: Lease

Termination fees or other problem when ending the lease early
Complaint: I am writing to complain about the Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp ( NMAC ) charge of {$1100.00} on my XXXX XXXX lease termination. My account number is XXXX. I am surprised that I am charged anything more than {$190.00}. We returned the XXXX XXXX under account XXXX to the XXXX XXXX dealership in great condition on XX/XX/2018 around 21k miles. This is way under the 36k miles contracted in the lease, and 2 months before the lease expired. We also gladly lease a new XXXX XXXX from the same dealer on that same day ( new account number XXXX ). We consulted with the dealer, before we returned the XXXX and signed the new lease on the new XXXX, that the Special Lease Turn-In Offer of {$500.00} off Excess Wear and Use Charges we received in mail is good even if we put the new lease on different members of my family as far as we validate that the names are all under the same address. We returned the car with its manual and every single part. It is hard to imagine that a car with 21k miles have excess wear & use of {$480.00}. We even put on a new tire for the car. Anyway, this amount should be covered by the Special Lease Turn-In Offer of {$500.00} off Excess Wear and Use Charges. I was also told by the dealer that we do not have to worry about the Disposition Fee of {$390.00} since we leased a new XXXX from the same dealer again. As such, the only charges I can understand in the NMAC statement is the remaining payments of {$190.00}. I kindly ask that NMAC correct the invoice promptly.

Complaint: Nissan Motor acceptance has continuously reported inaccurate information as recent as this month for a auto loan that was paid by additional gap insurance i had on my auto. Nissan, has also reported the same account twice as derogatory. I have repeatedly requested the method of verification used to proof the balance owed & have not been provided with it. I have requested to have the items deleted from my credit report & they have not complied. First they reported In XX/XX/2017 that I owed over 13k and just this month they reported I owe {$580.00}. When I spoke with a Nissa rep they said they wasnt certain where the balance was from and couldnt verify it. Please have this item deleted from my credit reports.

Problem with the interest rate
Complaint: I entered into a contract for a 36 month lease through Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation in XX/XX/XXXX for which I have monthly payments set up through my bank auto-pay feature. On XX/XX/XXXX I logged into my NMAC account to find the payment for next month had increased by {$3.00}. When I called NMAC to inquire about the increase, the representative advised that there were 9 counties in Florida that increased sales tax this year. She went on to mention that my county, XXXX XXXX, increased from 0 % to .05 % which increased my lease payment. I asked the representative whether NMAC contacted me to notify me of the payment adjustment and her response was, " No, this was something that was voted on in your county & not Nissan 's responsibility to communicate. '' This is completely unacceptable. Had I not checked the XXXX site on my own accord & because I have auto-pay enabled for this lease I would not have known about this payment increase.

Attempts to collect debt not owed

Debt is not yours
Complaint: XXXX19 XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) left a message regarding a debt that my brother and his girlfriend have. I am not a cosigner nor have anything to do with the loan. I don't know how they obtained my house number, the number is not even under my name nor is it connected to my brother in any way. '' Mind you I wasn't yelling or anything, I was just frustrated that this company XXXX their way into my house phone number and are taking liberties they shouldn't be taking. Instead of an apology or acceptance of their wrong doing, I got an attitude. Now, I don't know much about debt collection practices but I don't think that the company can XXXX their way into contact information of family members of their clients and contact them regarding a debt they have nothing to do with it. Also, by calling and leaving messages about debt collection they are dispersing information about overdue payments regarding their clients.
