Complaint: I had a car accident on XX/XX/XXXX, in which this vehicle was completely totaled out. Nissan informed me that I owed one payment that was due XX/XX/XXXX for a total of XXXX. I completed this payment on XX/XX/XXXX. Once I completed this payment, XXXX ( my insurance company ) and GAP submitted in the total for the rest of the vehicle. At that point in time when I accessed my account with Nissan, they showed that the balance was 100 % taken care of and that I owed no further payments. I was also informed by a representative that I was owed approximately {$2000.00} more dollars in payment for warranty that I have not received and an additional {$460.00} in tire warranty ( that I have not received. I also received a {$58.00} check for my excess payment that I completed on XX/XX/XXXX. Nissan did not inform me that I owed any additional payments, yet they reported inadequately on my credit report that I am 30 days past due ( in which I am not ). Had I owed an additional payment, this payment would've been due XX/XX/XXXX and I wouldn't have been past due until XX/XX/XXXX. I have not received any notices from Nissan in any way stipulating that I owed any further balances.

Complaint: I was contacted in early XX/XX/XXXX to do an early-lease turn in/trade by XXXXXXXX XXXX of XXXX, VA, which is where I purchased/leased the vehicle in question. ( NOTE : That loan/lease started in XX/XX/XXXX and would mature XX/XX/XXXX ). After several " over-the-phone '' discussions, a deal was reached toward the end of XX/XX/XXXX, to which the dealership and Infiniti Financial Services ( IFS ) agreed, along with myself. Because I live in Alabama and the dealership is in VA, the new truck had to be shipped, which ended up taking about 2 weeks for me to receive from that dealership. It was agreed that all payments for the old truck ( including any existing payments, property taxes, fees, etc. ) would be paid to IFS from the deal and that I was no longer individually responsible for making any more payments to IFS on the old truck and that I could continue to drive it until I receive the new truck. I was specifically told ( & provided a letter ) that I did not have to worry about the remaining payments ( XXXX through XXXX ). In mid-XX/XX/XXXX, I had been in the process of buying a home at the time and my mortgage guy discovered that IFS was reporting me late to all three credit bureaus for XX/XX/XXXX. I contacted IFS and after several attempts at correcting this error, finally got a letter from IFS stating the XX/XX/XXXX should be removed. I'd also received a voicemail from XXXX XXXX of IFS stating they were using the XX/XX/XXXX as the ground date of the lease turn in and have in fact sent a correction to the credit bureaus. Thinking that was the end of the situation, I continued to meet other obligations in the home buying process but was told we'd have to re-pull credit in order to ensure the IFS account updated accordingly. Well low & behold, in early XX/XX/XXXX when my mortgage guy re-pulls credit, IFS is now reporting me late forXX/XX/XXXX. I immediately contacted IFS via phone on XXXX and was told to forward an email of what I was seeing on my credit report. I sent the snapshot to " XXXX XXXX '' of IFS and he stated he'd look into it and get back to me. I never heard back. I then contacted IFS again on XXXX, this time with the dealership ( XXXX XXXX, GM ) on the line with me. We spoke with XXXX XXXX of IFS and he asked me to forward a copy of the snapshot to him, which I did and he said he'd handle the matter. He sent me a letter, but it only addressed the XX/XX/XXXX late payment removal, not the XX/XX/XXXX removal. Since then, I've called IFS again on XXXX only to be told there's nothing additional they can do. Further, I've been in contact with Infiniti Consumer Affairs almost weekly since mid-XXXX trying to get the matter resolved but to no avail. Together, myself, Infiniti Consumer Affairs and then myself & the dealership ( XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, GM ) spoke with IFS and the IFS Lease-End Dept. on XX/XX/XXXX. They informed us that the ground date they were using is XX/XX/XXXX. As I explained, even if that's the case ( which was not the agreement ), I still would not be considered late as my actual due date is the 15th of the month, with a 15-day grace period. XXXX, the floor supervisor, asked for my number and promised that he'd look into the matter and call me back. I have yet to hear back from him or IFS. Again, I ask, why would IFS be reporting me late on a vehicle I timely turned in and that I in fact did not even own any longer??? Needless to say, by now, I am literally livid with Infiniti and worn out from all of this, not to mention have lost my ability to qualify for a home. Thus, I filed a complaint with the XXXX XXXX XXXX. IFS responds to that compliant stating they addressed the XX/XX/XXXX error but also says they did NOT report me late for XX/XX/XXXX. This is clearly incorrect as it is clearly shown on 2 of the 3 credit bureaus ( XXXX & XXXX ) reports that IFS is reporting me late for XX/XX/XXXX. How are they reporting me late to two bureaus and not the other? I have a snapshot of the response that IFS sent to the XXXX denying reporting me late. I also have a snapshot of my credit report showing clearly that they are reporting me late for XX/XX/XXXX. I simply want this matter resolved, which has always been my position, particularly because this has affected my LIVELIHOOD - I can't even get financed now to purchase my home!!!

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I signed a 3 year lease contract for a XXXX Nissan XXXX and financed my payments through Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation. In XX/XX/XXXX, I put two seperate insurance claims with XXXX insurance to have damage fixed to my car from a hit and run incident sometime in the fall of XXXX. This auto body work was completed in a timely fashion and great condition at XXXX XXXX XXXX shop in XXXX, PA. I turned my lease in within 1 day of picking the car up, in pristine condition, straight out of the body shop. Shortly after, I received an email from a credit bureau that I owed Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation {$4000.00} from various charges, but the bulk of them stemming from " previous repair ''. I called Nissan Motor Acceptance to dispute this, stating that I completed all of my repairs before lease turn in. The representative on the phone stated " you signed a contract and you're liable. The repairs you had completed were not up to our standards here. '' I was advised to call my insurance company. After several phone calls and emails back and forth with my XXXX Insurance Agent, XXXX XXXX ( who was very helpful ) he advised me to contact Nissan and that XXXX was not able to rectify this. In or around XX/XX/XXXX, I submitted a complaint with the Attorney General 's office of PA, followed by a letter a few weeks later that they submitted a complaint with Nissan but that by law, Nissan does not have to respond at all. Shortly after in XX/XX/XXXX, I started receiving phone calls from a debt collector. I do not contest the {$390.00} disposition fee, or the {$43.00} tax on that fee. I do not contest that the driver 's side mirror COVER was cracked, but the fair market value of this in somewhere around {$60.00} on the official Nissan website, not the {$460.00} that was charged. The majority of these charges are on the statement as " previous repair '' as the damage description, which was all fixed at a certified auto body shop. Furthermore, there was an 11 % tax added to the " excess wear and tear '' charges on this bill for a total of {$350.00}. I am questioning the validity of this tax percentage and where that number even came from. This is complete unfair business. I did my part and completed what I was advised to fix and sent the vehicle back in the condition I first received it in. My car before leasing the XXXX was a XXXX Nissan XXXX, and I turned it in with so many scratches and dents and never got a bill from Nissan for any of it. I am assuming it is because I leased another Nissan. This bill has given me tremendous stress and I do not know how to proceed. Aside from the illegitimate charges for my previous repairs on this bill, the prices are completely inflated and unjust. I was advised by a XXXX Insurance representative that the company could not have reported this to a credit agency until after 60 days. This balance already appeared on my credit report as unpaid. I do not even know if this is proper information given to me by the representative.

The car total came up to {$19000.00} including 7.94 %. But when I received my first month payment I realized they bumped my loan to {$29000.00}. Its clear that instead of taking my {$5000.00} deposit off they actually added it as an extra. I have been going to dealer to fix it however I keep getting thrown out and being yelled at. Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 Nissan finance called me at work. Never attempted to call my cell phone. Advised me I was 11 days past due. I told CSR I had made a half payment 2 weeks ago and I was going to make the other half XX/XX/19 but please do not call me at work. I made a full payment on XX/XX/19 online early that morning. At XXXX they called me at work again to collect this debt. After a full payment had been made online and i am currently a half payment ahead. This is harrasment. I have a clean pay history with Nissan. I have 2 vehicles financed through them and have been a long time customer. I advised the CSR that called me this morning i would file this complaint.

XXXX repeatedly called Nissan to pick up vehicle, sent them the odometer statement with no response from Nissan and til this day XX/XX/XXXX, over a year later the vehicle still has not been picked up by Nissan. XXXX did say that Nissan is guilty of this practice every time they take in a XXXX or Nissan because they do not want to pay to pick up vehicle. I repeatedly have spoken to both parties. Around XX/XX/XXXX Nissan called me to ask weather I was turning in the vehicle or wanted to purchase, this is nuts when the vehicle was turned in on XX/XX/XXXX. They have continued to keep account open and I have accumulated 2 payments overdue and I have a spotless credit report. I also spoke to XXXX XXXX at Nissan ( XXXX ) the last time being XX/XX/XXXX and also by email that day and he is well aware the vehicle was turned in in XXXX of XXXX. Would also like to know what XXXX has been doing with vehicle after over a year, did they use it for all this time?

Complaint: I leased a XXXX XXXX XXXX that was financed through Nisan Motor Acceptance Corp. ( NMAC ). That lease comes due on XX/XX/XXXX. I spoke to three different Nissan dealers, all of whom told me that Nissan would waive up to the last four payments on my lease if I purchased a new vehicle from Nissan. As I was planning on doing just that I made the XXXX, XXXX payment on time but made no subsequent payments. In early XXXX, I started receiving a very high volume of calls from NMAC telling me that my auto lease payments were late. Every time I mentioned them waiving payments, they told me to go see a dealer. Finally NMAC told me that I had to go see the dealer who originally sold me the vehicle, even though they are over XXXX miles from my home, as I have recently moved. I complied with the instructions from NMAC and went to the dealer they specified. At that dealer, I was able to find that NMAC had reported me late for two month 's worth of auto lease payments and by doing so, NMAC had caused my FICO score to drop from from XXXX to XXXX. Because of the drop in FICO score and the lease payment lateness, Nissan would not lease me another vehicle even though my payment history over the previous 33 months was always on-time. And, unfortunately. because of Nissan 's report, no other auto lender would give me a loan or a lease. Their actions have been damaging, predatory and not in keeping with what the dealers told me. The two months late ( XXXX and XXXX ) have been paid and Nissan will still not approve me for a lease.

I understand that you must have procedures in place to respond to questions about credit reporting. It looks like some of the details that you guys are reporting arent true. For example : Account Type shows Auto Loan when I thought the correct term for this alleged account was credit sale. Also, how is it possible that according to the credit report it shows the Open Date is XX/XX/XXXX and the First Report Date is not until XX/XX/XXXX ; Where are the records of good payment? How about the alledged recent balance? Look at the report, did you see the DATE of STATUS XX/XX/XXXX. - Again, how is possible that the first reported date is XX/XX/XXXX, but the Date of XXXX XX/XX/XXXX ... ..Where the good payment history? Honestly, i'm so concerned about the way this account is reporting with multiple errors, and if it's not fixed I 'may '' hire one of those FCRA attorneys like XXXX XXXX XXXX Anyway, can you please help me understand whats going on? Id like to see the following documents so that I can compare them to the information on my credit report. I would appreciate a thoughtful response from your office. Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX my XXXX XXXX bankruptcy was converted to XXXX XXXX and discharged. Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp ( NMAC ) holds title and lien to my nearly paid off vehicle as the court was making payments to NMAC during the 3 year period prior while in XXXX XXXX reorganization. I was informed by my attorney at that time that I would have the option to either return the vehicle to NMAC and walk away free and clear or to pay the balance and keep the car. In XX/XX/XXXX, after waiting several months, I made a good faith attempt to contact NMAC to find out the status of my account, the payoff info and why I had not received any communication from them. I was told by customer service that they had not received any paperwork from the court as of yet. I specifically asked them to note the call to my account and asked that they call me when they got the paperwork so that we could proceed. The next thing I know, I am blind sided by a Notice of Default giving me 10 days to pay {$2900.00} amount they claim I owe ( in question ). I did not get this notice until XX/XX/XXXX as I was out of town during the holidays and tending to family business around my ailing fathers health and subsequent passing. The deadline on the notice was XX/XX/XXXX. I called immediately. It was apparent to me that they either did not review my account notes or there were no notes at all as they did not believe that I had called previously. Although I have made numerous requests for an accounting throughout this whole ordeal, my inquirys, concerns and even simple questions have only been met with deflection, threats, extreme intimidation and/or out and out ignored. The only response I have received at all is to Pay up or else! I felt so intimidated by their strong arm tactics I almost sent them a partial payment, but after a friends warning, decided not to without some kind of written assurance they won't take my car in the meantime. On one call they threatened to take my car the next day if I did not wire this partial payment to them by midnight. This was at XXXX XXXX the same day leaving me no time to get to bank let alone XXXX XXXX! I was told that, not only would they NOT give me anything in writing but they would not give me ANY assurances at all and they might just take my car anyway even if I did make the payment! My concerns over removal of the lien, how this would be reported on my credit and when I would get the pink slip have NEVER been addressed. I am a XXXX senior on a fixed income, and although I have no problem paying the fair balance that I owe, after the expense of my fathers passing, car repairs and travel during that time I just did not have the full amount they claim I owe. It is clear to me that my rights have been disregarded here as I have been lied too, threatened, abusively reprimanded by agents and have received no actioned response to the letters Ive sent attempting to resolve this situation. On one call the agent was quite literally yelling at me and finally hung up on me before she even knew what I was calling about! I wasnt able to get a word in edgewise. It would seem to me by timing, tactics and treatment that NMAC doesn't want the money, they just want to take my car ( worth more? )! I am quite sure NMAC would stack up deficiency, repo and other collection charges totaling more than I owe as well. It would surely ruin my credit for the next ten years at a time when I have struggled very hard to get back on my feet after a long expensive bankruptcy due to XXXX. Not only that but the In Default classification of my account has made it virtually impossible for me to refinance the very small balance remaining, even if I knew what that was. I have been given conflicting info about the amount as well. At this point NMAC has totally eroded any trust I had in them to deal with me fairly. We are now at a very disturbing stand still.

Complaint: NMAC reported a charge off reporting to the three credit bureaus - I have a letter from NMAC dated XX/XX/2016, they accepted the settlement amount of {$3600.00} and would report the loan as paid full and remove the charge off. They reported the charge off almost two years later. I disputed the charge off with the credit bureaus but it came back as accurate. I did not communicate with any collection agency only with NMAC. My understanding is that if they sent the letter and received payment for the balance of the loan why do they get to report a charge off. I did not receive a XXXX from them so how do they legally get to write off a loan that has technically been paid.

Reported on XX/XX/XXXX a payment status of 30 days and an amount delinquent of {$640.00} my payment was due on the XX/XX/XXXX, I paid and the payment posted on XX/XX/XXXX the amount of {$650.00} and XXXX XXXX processed the payment on that same date. Given that XX/XX/XXXX has 28 days this means that my payment was made and processed on the 28th day and not 30 days or more. By law they should have not reported a payment made before 30 days as a 30 to 59 days late. Now this is reported on all major credit bureaus and XXXX XXXX is refusing to acknowledge and abide by the consumer protection protocols and laws. 2. Reported on XX/XX/XXXX a payment status of 30 days and an amount delinquent of {$640.00}. my payment was due on the XX/XX/XXXX, I paid and the payment posted on XX/XX/XXXX the amount of {$640.00} and XXXX XXXX processed the payment on that same date. Given that XX/XX/XXXX was a Saturday this means that my payment was made and processed on the 8th but what XXXX did is that they counted the week end and end of business the following Monday and reported my payment to the credit agencies as paid on XX/XX/XXXX.

Complaint: Thursday, XX/XX/2019 I called XXXX Nissan of XXXX about a vehicle I was interested in online. I spoke with a salesman named XXXX. XXXX and I negotiated price over the phone and I made clear my intentions were to make a down payment of {$10000.00} on the vehicle and finance the rest. XXXX had to get approval from his manager but in the end he came back and told me his manager approved the deal. Friday, XX/XX/2019 My wife and I drove to Nissan to purchase the vehicle based on the agreed deal. Our salesman, XXXX had stepped away to make copies of our driver licenses and print the paperwork. He was gone for a pretty long time and eventually another associate came over to our desk. This other gentleman begins to explain how he can not allow us to make a down payment on the agreed upon price of the vehicle because, " we wouldn't make enough money on the deal. '' I argued and pushed back because I was told the manager had approved the deal knowing my intent to put money down. In the end, I agreed to purchase the vehicle anyway, because I wanted/needed it. We eventually made our way back to the finance manager, XXXX to close our loan. I told XXXX what happened and he shrugged it off like it was no big deal and even said, " Oh yea we have a new sales manager out there who came from a dealership in Florida. He won't let anyone with good credit make a down payment. '' The next week or so ... I called Nissan USA Consumer Affairs to make them aware and they created a ticket so that someone could follow up with me. A man named XXXX called me and explained that since the dealership is privately owned they couldn't really do anything about it, but that he would send it to the dealership directly so they could contact me. No one from the dealership ever reached out for resolution.

Complaint: COMPLAINT AGAINST XXXX NISSAN XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX NY XXXX i HAVE BOUGHT TOTAL OF 5 NISSAN VEHICLES. WE GOT THE WORST SALES REP EVER. WE WERE PLANNING TO GET XXXX CARS. WE COULDN'T GET A LOAN WITHOUT AN INCOME VERIFICATION FOR MY SELF IN ADDITION TO MY WIFE. I AM ON PERMANENT XXXX AND IS ONLY COLLECTING {$1600.00} A MONTH IN XXXX PENSION. THEY PROMISED TO GET THE LOAN APPROVED AND WE GAVE A DEPOSIT OF {$1500.00}. THE DEAL DID NOT WORK OUT AND THE SALES REP TOLD US THAT THE CORPORATE WILL SEND YOU THE REFUND AND MADE ME FILL OUT A REQUEST FOR REFUND. HE SAID WE WILL GET THE REFUND WITHIN 30 DAYS AND IF WE WANT WE CAN DISPUTE THE TRANSACTION WITH OUR BANK AND WE DID. WE CALLED THEM MANY TIMES AND EVEN WENT THERE THREE TIMES. YESTERDAY THE General Manager MADE US WAIT OVER AN HOUR AND NEVER CAME OUT TO SPEAK TO US.. THE SALES REP IS XXXX. XXXX. your immediate assistance will be appreciated.
