Complaint: Nissan Motors Acceptance Company ( NMAC ) Loan # XXXX . XXXX I have requested that this company report all my loan payoffs, as well as the payment in full for the vehicle to all XXXX credit bureaus, which they have refused to do. XXXX They stated the law prevents them from reporting the full payment history as I listed the loan in my bankruptcy. They stated even though I am willing to give them written permission to report the payments they are forbidden from reporting the payments. XXXX My mortgage company, who was also listed in the bankruptcy, is reporting my payments after I gave them written permission, and I find it quite difficult to believe there is a different law for automobile loans.

Complaint: I purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX off the lot. During the purchase I was guaranteed that XXXX would lower my interest rate after 6 consecutive months of on time payments. 3 years later and nothing. I 've called and got the run around. Gone to the dealership and they say I have to call. The bigger issue is a late payment they reported about 2 years ago that was their fault because my bank said they did n't pull the payment out. I 've asked to have it removed since it was n't late and the money was there as well as my branch manager confirming how the transactions always occur monthly. It 's not fair to continue to carry a negative that does n't belong to me.

Problems at the end of the loan or lease

Vehicle loan or lease: Lease

Termination fees or other problem when ending the lease early
Complaint: XXXX XXXX a XXXX year old man thought that he was purchasing a Brand New XXXX in XXXX 2014, he agreed to pay approximately {$30000.00} for the car. XXXX XXXX did not realize this was a lease and grossly over-paid. Once the papers were read we explained to him that it was a lease not a sale and the price of the car was {$22000.00} and not XXXX he paid. XXXX XXXX requested the Lease Agreement for the car and was sent a illegible agreement which was not included in his original paperwork. It appears that the Dealership changed hands and now is controlled by someone new, furthermore, XXXX XXXX was sent to a collection Agency which has demanded an additional XXXX on a car not worth more than XXXX and XXXX received nearly 40K. The Dealer contacted the customer and said we can sell it for more than you can, which did not happen. After reading the contract with a magnifying glass it is in contradiction with the demand for the additional XXXX the contract says that the amount collected after the completion of the lease is no more than XXXX. This is Elder Abuse in the worse way and XXXX should be held to a higher standard beginning with including the contract up front and a clear explanation of the lease. The dealer also included a Contract Cancellation Option Agreement which clearly says for " Used Motor Vehicle Purchases Only '' XXXX XXXX car was supposedly " Brand New '' So it is unclear why this document was included.

Managing the loan or lease

Vehicle loan or lease: Loan

Problem with additional products or services purchased with the loan
Complaint: To whom it may concern : I purchased a brand new XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. I had leather seats installed shortly thereafter. When I turned in my vehicle to have my seats installed, I left it with my second key. When I picked up my vehicle, my second key was not returned. Because I had the other key, I did not realize that they had not returned the other key until I was contacted, about two months later in XXXX XXXX, by their service department telling me that my key was at the dealership and that I could come pick them up. <P/>When I came to retrieve the keys no one could locate them. I spoke with the salesperson who sold me my car and he said that he would make sure that my keys were located and then mailed to me. He also said that, if the original keys could not be located, that he would make sure a new pair was mailed. To date, I have not received the keys in the mail. <P/>Unfortunately, due to some personal circumstances, this situation fell off of my radar until recently. <P/>I recently went back ( in XX/XX/XXXX ) to inquire about the status of my keys. I spoke with the manager on duty who advised me that I needed to contact the owner loyalty manager and he gave me a business card for her. I called onXX/XX/XXXX, asked to speak to a manager on duty and was transferred. He advised me that he could not help me at the moment but that he would check on it and call me back that afternoon by XXXX XXXX. I did not receive a telephone call back that day so I emailed the owner loyalty manager the next day. <P/>The owner loyalty manager informed me via email on XXXX XXXX, that she was forwarding my concerns to the General Sales Manager who happened to be the same manager I spoke with when I called on XX/XX/XXXX, who said that he could not help me. <P/>Fast forward to XX/XX/XXXX, the general sales manager called and essentially informed me that he could not help me still. He said that all of the staff that worked at XXXX XXXX XXXX when this happened no longer worked there and, because of the staff turnover, and length of time which had passed, that he could not justify the expense of cutting me a new key and that he could not help me. I then asked if he could call the original salesperson to the transaction and verify what happened. His reply to me was that the issue was not whether or not he believed me, because he does, but the issue is that he could not justify paying out the expense to replace the key after so much time passing. He said that this would be the case even if they got confirmation from salesperson. <P/>I am very frustrated, to say the least, about this situation. They have been giving me the run around about my keys, that they lost, since XXXX of XX/XX/XXXXand now they are refusing to stand by their word. XXXX XXXX should either cut me a new key or reimburse me the retail price of the key. I purchased my vehicle BRAND NEW with two keys, one of which XXXX XXXX XXXX misplaced. Providing two keys to a buyer when they purchase a brand new vehicle is standard procedure in the car selling industry. By not having both keys, I am not receiving the full benefit of the loan that I took out with Nissan Acceptance Corporation. A loan which I pay for every month. <P/>Whether or not the individuals responsible for this are still working for XXXX XXXX XXXX does not matter because, at the time my key was misplaced, these individuals were employed by XXXX XXXX and operating within the scope of their employment, therefore, the company is vicariously liable/responsible for these employees ' actions. Again, I purchased a BRAND NEW vehicle from XXXX XXXX, which came with TWO keys. XXXX XXXX lost my key and now they are refusing to replace it as they previously promised they would. <P/>The Sales Manager quoted a new set of keys starting at {$300.00} dollars and then had the nerve to tell me that this multi-billion dollar company can not justify the expense of {$300.00} to replace a key that THEY LOST!!! Again, by not having both keys, I am not receiving the full benefit of the loan that I took out with Nissan which includes monthly payments for ( no matter how meniscal ) two keys. I did not misplace my key, the staff at XXXX XXXX XXXX did and, because of this, XXXX XXXX XXXX should either 1 ) produce my original key, which was misplaced or 2 ) cut a new key for me or 3 ) reimburse me the retail value for the key so I can have a new key made. <P/>Attached to this complaint you will find the following : The Retail Installment Sales Contract Title Application for my vehicle which identifies Nissan Acceptance Corporation as the lien holder and XXXX XXXX XXXX as the Seller Application Declaration ( first page ) which identifies the odometer reading for my car when I purchased it, the purchase price, and the lien holder information. <P/>Please look into this situation for me and let me know whether or not my key will be replaced at your earliest convenience. Thank you in advance for your assistance in this matter.

Complaint: -XX/XX/XXXX I bought a used XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX in XXXX MI -I made all payments on time via automatic bank withdrawal from my XXXX XXXX XXXX. -XX/XX/XXXX I traded the XXXX in at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX MI -XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter from Nissan Motor Acceptance thanking me for financing and affirming that my " contract obligation has been satisfied. '' XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter from Nissan Motor Acceptance saying I still owed them money. I called the 800 on the bill and spoke with XXXX who threatened me with an even larger bill if I did not pay the one they sent me. I refused and called XXXX XXXX to make sure the loan had been paid off. They assured me it had and that Nissan 's records must be in error. -From that date forward, I kept getting letters as well as threatening phone calls. I have dates and names of those I spoke with. -It has been continuous even though I threatened them with legal action, but they have continued to harass me and now I find that they have also falsely registered this as a current delinquent amount on my credit report EVEN though they have marked it closed and paid. They have harassed me and turned me over to collectors who have harassed me with early morning calls, etc. -I have all necessary documentation to support this, and I want them to cease and I want to sue them for harassment and for damaging my pristine credit history. -This has been ridiculous!!

Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem

Credit reporting, credit repair services, or other personal consumer reports: Credit reporting

Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Complaint: I XXXX XXXX paid off a vehicle lease several years ago. However, the loan company Nissan-Infinity still has me reported with a balance of {$350.00}. That is not possible if this same company shows the lease status as a full termination. I have protested this reporting with XXXX and the matter was not sufficiently completed with a proper reinvestigation. Accordingly, I believe the matter should get resolved, whereas the balance should show as XXXX. This correction is necessary to fulfill the obligation of Nissan-Infinity with XXXX under their subscriber agreement with the credit reporting agencies in general. This credit item needs to be corrected immediately.

Billing problem
Complaint: When I moved to XXXX ( from XXXX ) i n XXXX XXXX , Infiniti Financial Serv ices ( IFS ) began charging me a 10 % XXXX sales tax on my monthly bill. A fter researching XXXX tax code, I do not see any code that indicates a sales tax is required for vehicles originally registered in another state before establishing residency in XXXX . Since XX/XX/XXXX , I 've made several inquiries to IFS via phone and in writing but they have not provided any details to support this 10 % XXXX sales tax. I also contacted the XXXX Office of Tax Revenue and was informed that sales of motor vehicles and trailers are not subject to sales and use tax but only to excise tax of 6 % in XXXX . Even XXXX states that the sales and use tax does not apply to the sale of motor vehicles. The 10 % rate in XXXX applies to rentals of motor vehicles and utility trailers, except those registered for commercial purposes. Only rental or leasing of rental vehicles and ut ility trailers is taxable. I did n't purchase/lease this car in XXXX nor is my lease classified as a rental vehicle. <P/> I believe IFS is erroneously charging me ( along with many other lease customers ) and refuses to correct their mistake. Please help!

Problem with additional products or services purchased with the loan
Complaint: I financed a XXXX Nissan Altima from Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation ( NMAC ) in XX/XX/XXXX. I also purchased GAP and other warranty products at the time of purchase. On XX/XX/XXXX I was involved in a car accident in which the vehicle was totaled. My insurance paid most of the car balance off with NMAC except for approximately {$1500.00}, which comprised of the GAP premium and warranty package. I filed a claim with the GAP company listed on my loan documents from NMAC which put me through a series of hoops in order to fax them paperwork every week only to not review it for another whole week and send me a letter via mail each time they requested new information. I would not receive a call related to my claim or any direct communication. I spent over 3 months trying to have the remaining loan balance paid off with NMAC. I even requested to just have NMAC place the remaining balance onto the new car I financed with them in XX/XX/XXXX. They declined. Instead they insisted on allowing my GAP claim to be denied for charges that were only there due to me even purchasing the GAP and extending warranty to begin with. Had I not purchased these products that in no way helped me in the way they portrayed that it would if I ever was to find myself in this situation, I would not have a remaining balance on this loan. Since I had to purchase a new car after totaling my car I could not afford to continue making payments on the XX/XX/XXXXloan, thus it has affected my credit significantly. I feel this practice of selling GAP products without fully explaining how they work is a total sham. I

Struggling to pay your loan

Vehicle loan or lease: Loan

Lender trying to repossess or disable the vehicle
Complaint: I bought the car in XX/XX/XXXX, at that time I was employed as a XXXX making $ XXXX/yr. I lost that job inXX/XX/XXXX and was out of work for about 6 months. I asked Nissan several times to possibly lower my payment to accommodate my reduced income. They refused. They suggested a refinance, even while seeing how I 'd started to call behind in my payments. The next job I took on ( out of desperation ) started with a base pay of $ XXXX/year. Still, no help from Nissan. They deferred ONE payment a few times, even though agents have made comments on various calls as if a TWO payment deferment could have ever been an option. <P/>I called NMAC onXX/XX/XXXX, spoke to XXXX. She confirmed the car was out for repo and the # of days/payments owed. She confirmed that I needed a minimum of {$580.00} for XX/XX/XXXX payment to put a hold of the repo. I asked her a few times if this one payment would hold the repo action, and she confirmed. She suggested to call back with a payment confirmation # before XXXX, so that they can guarantee contact with the repo vendor. After XXXX, they could no longer guarantee. I made arrangements to get the {$580.00} and paid it. I called back and spoke with XXXX ( or XXXX? ). She confirmed the same info, took my confirmation #, and left me on hold for apprx 6-7 minutes while she " documented this '' to the account. XXXX ( or XXXX ) confirmed that she 'd noted my account and put the hold through on the repo. We confirmed my next payment arrangement forXX/XX/XXXX payday forXX/XX/XXXX payment. <P/>The morning ofXX/XX/XXXX, I was late for work because I did n't realize that Nissan came and got the car anyway. I called NMACXX/XX/XXXX apprx XXXX, and spoke with a supervisor in collections named XXXX . He said I needed to speak to Reinstatements, who would n't be in for another hour. XXXX confirmed that XXXX was correct in everything that she told me, however XXXX made it seem that neither collector should have provided assurance that the payment arrangement would suffice. I still have no clue as to where my vehicle is, why they did n't honor the hold, etc. <P/>My complaint is that NMAC is ok with collectors using deceptive practices, answering direct questions from me as a consumer, with deliberate inaccurate information. They lied to get me to make a payment, knowing that they would still allow the vendor to repossess the car anyway.

Problem while selling or giving up the vehicle
Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, we returned the XXXX to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) ( dealer ) which we were leasing and in exchange for a new lease on a XXXX. We decided to seal the deal based on the dealer 's offer to terminate the lease on the XXXX without having to pay the remaining lease for 3 months. Hence, we were required to make only the {$1000.00} down payment for the XXXX. On XXXX XXXX, we got a call from Infiniti Financial Services ( IFS ) claiming that we still owe money on the XXXX. On XXXX XXXX, I talked to XXXX XXXX of the dealership saying she talked to XXXX of IFS who resolved the matter so there wo n't be anymore calleXXXX from IFS. However in XX/XX/XXXX and other letters I was getting End of Lease Liability Statement showing we owe the 3 months lease payment. Billing problem
Complaint: Infiniti Financial Services has reported many inaccurate statements of late payments and early lease termination on several accounts with them. These include Account numbers XXXX and XXXX . I have not been late. Regarding account XXXX , I was in dispute with them direct because they did not validate vehicle insurance when I leased my new vehicle from them in XX/2016 . The lease is therefore void and not valid. Also, they reported I was late in XX/XX/XXXX whe n we were in dispute and they said they would not. They never returned any of my phone calls. They have reported on several other accounts with them. Stating falsely that I terminated lease early when I purchased a new lease from XXXX XXXX in XXXX from Infiniti Finance. I w as never told they would report lease terminated early. They promised to remove all negative account information because I have not been late and I have not terminated any lease early.
