Incorrect information on your report

Vehicle loan or lease: Lease

Account status incorrect
Complaint: I have had a lease for an XXXX vehicle since XX/XX/XXXX, replaced with a new vehicle early this year. My account has been on automatic payment since I initially signed up in XX/XX/XXXX. For my newest vehicle, the first month 's payment was to be included beginning with the day that I signed the lease ( XX/XX/XXXX ). I did not receive the first statement or even my account number until approximately XX/XX/XXXX which is when the next payment was debited from my account. For whatever reason, Infiniti Financial Services ( Nissan ) may not have timely processed my automatic payments. Nevertheless, I called Infiniti today and they verified that they are not reporting any 30 day past due payments ; however, despite that fact, my lessor has taken it upon itself to disparage me and published a derogatory 30-day past due payment to the credit reporting agencies in the past year. I spoke to two people over a thirty minute period today, neither of whom could figure out why the alleged past due payment is reporting. Furthermore I do not consent to the disclosure of my account information to any third parties for any reason whether positive or negative. This has been in writing with Infiniti 's dealer/agent since I signed my lease.

Problem with paying off the loan
Complaint: I have been treated poorly every time I interacted with this company as if I am not a customer at all and they are offering me welfare or something. I was misled about the details of my first car a XX/XX/XXXX Nissan Sentra and when I declined the extended warranty I was told I would get a XXXX refund that would lower my payment. this never happened and the money went to Nissan Motor acceptance who did not even credit me 1 payment. Now my car was in an accident and my insurance company is totaling the car. I received confirmation that they paid Nissan Motor Acceptance over XXXX on my loan and Nissan is harassing me for payments on the car even though they just opened a new loan for my replacement car. they are going to ruin my credit for being a second time customer. I also have gap insurance and the company has made completing my claim almost impossible asking me for documents only Nissan and my insurance company have. My insurance company said they will send them the ones they have but Nissan is doing nothing to help me on their end but threatening my credit. I can not afford to make two car payments. Nissan promised me this would not happen. Nissan Motor acceptance has been borderline abusive in their handling of my accounts and treatment. It has been an emotional assault on me and causing my health problems. I can not believe how horrible they treat their customers. Cold and unfeeling. If I can warn every person I meet for the rest of my life it wo n't be enough.

Billing problem
Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I enrolled in paperless and automatic billing for my XXXX XXXX lease through XXXX ( their own portal, not my bank 's ). I have email confirmation that I 've done so. Fast forward to XX/XX/XXXX XXXX - my car is being towed out of my driveway by a repo company. I received no emails, no phone calls, nothing in the mail, not even a message on nissanfinance.com 's message portal. Apparently they NEVER billed my bank for the monthly payments that I set up and never contacted me to tell me that I was delinquent. Normally when a bill is late you receive some correspondence from the company because they want their money, but apparently Nissan would rather steal your car and make you pay exorbitant repo fees. I tried calling Nissan and the representative refused to A ) admit that there could 've been an error in their system, B ) transfer me to a supervisor, C ) work with me on paying the repo fees that were unjust. I was n't delinquent on my account - always paid on time - and have the money in my account to pay in full. When I was paying through my bank my payments always arrived, but I was encouraged to enroll in their paperless billing, then all XXXX broke loose. Again, I have email confirmation that I enrolled in their paperless billing on their website, but it was never actualized. Horrible customer service.

Unable to receive car title or other problem after the loan is paid off
Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I went to XXXX XXXX in XXXX, North Carolina to trade in my XXXX XXXX XXXX for a XXXX XXXX. The trade-in/deal was successful with no issues and the payoff check for {$26000.00} was sent to Nissan Motors Acceptance Corporation ( NMAC ) on XX/XX/XXXX. I spoke to three different representatives from NMAC over the phone and each time the rep could n't explain why my auto loan account reopened and promised to call me back with any updates but never received a callback. On XX/XX/XXXX, I went to XXXX XXXX & spoke to the payoff clerk who handles the payoff checks and she confirmed with me that not only that the payoff check cleared with XXXX 's bank but the XXXX has since been sold and when the payoff check was cleared on Nissan 's end, NMAC sent XXXX XXXX the title of the car.

Getting a loan or lease

Vehicle loan or lease: Lease

Changes in terms mid-deal or after closing
Complaint: My husband and I were in the market for a new vehicle. We decided to go to our local dealership XXXX XXXX. The loan was secured by XXXX XXXX. We decided that we wanted to obtain the loan in both of our names in order to rebuild my husbands credit. We were told only by a miracle they were able to add my husband to the loan but the tier would go up causing the payment to go up as well. We agreed to the terms and moved forward with the lease. XXXX 2017 we were going to trade his car in and went back XXXX XXXX to secure a loan. My husband andd I again wanted the loan in both of our names. We were made aware that my husbands credit was not good enough to do that and that he was never added to the previous loan. When we inquired about it we were told that it was not the dealerships issue and that was the fault of XXXX XXXX. However our payment was increased for no reason for those 2.5 years. They then offered that for the current lease that he could be added for an additional fee. We agreed again. Additionally we never received our loan paperwork nor our manual. When I called XXXX XXXX on another issue, I was advised by the lease termination manager, that my husband was on the original loan and that it was just not reporting to the credit bureaus and then placed a request for this to report. So now my issues are the inconsistencies. I am concerned that I have or are currently overpaying on my loan. Additionally how much have we overpaid in obtaining new credit due to the incorrect credit score? This my 4th car with XXXX XXXX and I am concerned that I am being taken advantage of. This has caused material damage and is unfair.

Problem with fees charged
Complaint: On XX/XX/2016 I was offered a low interest auto loan if I bought a new car from a dealership and that they were going to take in as trade my present less than 2 yrs. old car which I owed money on still ( more than the car was worth because of high interest rate on loan I had on it ). I was told that my loan for the new car would be around 9 % and that they were going to be able to erase most of the negative equity taking in my trade-in because of all the rebates and offers that applied to me buying the new car from them. ( Which I would have gotten on the new vehicle w/o using it up on the trade-in negative amount ). Anyways, they raised the interest rate higher saying that I could n't get the rate first mentioned, they told me that I had to buy GAP insurance, an extended warrenty, etc. On the contract # 6 : Total Down Payment A. Total Agreed Value = {$10000.00} B. Total less prior credit {$19000.00} C : Total Net Trade-in ( A-B ) : -XXXXX, E. Manufacturer 's Rebate : {$4200.00} G. Cash, Credit Card, Check = {$1000.00} ( from my checking acct. ) Total Downpayment ( C thru G ) : {$0.00}. 7 : Amount Financed = {$40000.00}. Besides the fact that I just ended up paying {$1000.00} cash to the dealer which they used towards the neg on my old vehicle and not towards the cost of the new car, I was also made to pay for an extended warranty which I did n't want ( the car came with a good warranty that covered the car for like 60 months/100,000 miles. But they told me I had to purchase the 72 month/75,000 ( Optional Service Contract ) which was {$3200.00} and the GAP ( Optional Debt Cancellation Agreement ) of {$990.00} = a total of {$4200.00} ). On the contract item J : Prior Credit or Lease Balance paid by Seller to Vehicle 1 ( XXXX XXXX ) {$3900.00}. Are you confused? Well I certainly was. I mentioned that I did n't know what I was signing and basically I was told do n't worry it 's all fine, we would n't trick you or anything. BUT ... ..the next day, I received a call from the Dealer and they were asking me to come back because the contract had a mistake on it and they needed me to come in to sign a corrected contract. It seems that they somehow had DOUBLED the TAXES charged on the new vehicle. Contract item G : {$4500.00}. Well I had noticed that, like I really had time to, no calculator with me, my head was swimming, and they assured me that everything was correct on the contract. SECOND CONTRACT : I was told that correcting the amount of tax on the contract would n't be changing the actual payment I was going to be paying every month. WHAT? I mean if I was getting a loan for a smaller amount why would n't the payment be lowered. Now I ca n't tell you what they said was the reason, because frankly, I did n't understand a thing they were throwing at me. However, as the finance guy was re-doing the contract while I was there he said to me, " Oh, yeah, cuz of this trouble I 'm going to give you a lifetime oil & tune-up warrenty, you just bring the car in every time that you need to get that service and we 'll do it here for free. '' Not until I got home and tried to go over this contract trying to figure out what the XXXX had just happened, did I notice that he gave me? He charged me for the Lifetime Oil ( only oil ) Contract in the amount of {$440.00}. He lowered the amount of tax charged on line G. from {$4500.00} to {$2300.00} ( when actually half of the taxes would have been {$2200.00} - go figure ). I believe that the difference of {$2200.00} or 1/2 of the doubled taxes charged on the original contract should have been subtracted off the balance owed and financed. But instead he added in the fee for the " Lifetime Oil '' of {$440.00} ( which I did not want, did not ask for, and was respresented to me as being a freebie ) and that leaves an amount of at least {$1800.00} that went to where??? I left my copy of the original contract at home so that I would n't have to give it to them thank gosh ... .they asked for it and I told them I had forgotten it and they told me to make sure and shred it up and throw it away when I got home so that I did n't accidentally mix it up with the one that was corrected. So please see attached copies of both contracts. On the first the Total Cash Price of the vehicle is {$27000.00} and on the " corrected one '' it goes up to a new total cash price of {$28000.00} for the very same exact vehicle. I do n't ' understand how they could just raise the price of the vehicle from the price that they had negotiated with me and that I agreed to purchase the car for after the original contract was signed, etc. I was n't told that they were going to do that and why should I be charged this extra money which of course is in the amount of the loan that I am going to have to pay for the vehicle. Another change was on XXXX XXXX. = Prior Credit or Lease Balance paid by Seller to Vehicle a XXXX XXXX from {$3900.00} on the first contract to {$4200.00} on the second contract. Since I do n't even understand what that is referring to, as in where they come in with that amount?? Under Downpayment on the contracts Item 6. Total Downpayment A. Agreed value of trade in = {$10000.00}. is the same on both, but on line B. Total Less Prior Credit vehicle 1 = {$19000.00} on the first contract and {$19000.00} on the second contract. = C. Total Net trade in ( A-B ) vehicle 1 = minus {$9200.00} on first contract and minus {$9500.00} on second contract. The amouonts that I paid in cash of {$1000.00} and the manufacturer 's Rebates of {$4200.00} for buying the new car which total {$5200.00} actually go to paying off my trade in and not towards the vehicle that I just purchased. The way I see this the new car should have cost me the amount that we had agreed on {$27000.00} plus tax & license, taxes & fees = {$30000.00} I really did n't need the optional warranty or the Gap Insurance = {$4200.00} and I especially did n't need, want, ask for and actually was told I was being given the " Lifetime Oil '' which I was actually charged for in the amount of {$440.00}. Sub-total of {$4600.00}. I could have received the rebates of {$4200.00} and should have gotten credit for the {$1000.00} I gave them cash. Leaving me with a {$24000.00} loan to pay on the car that I bought. However, I traded in a car that I still owed {$19000.00} for and so after we agreed the value of the trade in would be {$10000.00} and they were going to pay me that for the car. There was still {$9200.00} that needed to be paid to pay off my original car loan. That amount would be added to my new car loan. XXXX plus {$9200.00} = {$33000.00}. My loan was financed for {$40000.00} on the frirst contract and {$40000.00} on the second contract ( is n't that strange that the final amount financed on both contracts was for the same amount even though there had been that error of double taxes " accidentally computed incorrectly on the first contract ''?. I am paying a very large car payment every month and I 'm a retired XXXX yr. old woman on a small pension amount. I do n't know how they got this loan to go through. I wanted to lower my interest rate on my original car loan that was very high because my credit was n't all that great but I had been working on it. I was already at a {$520.00} a month payment and I was hoping to lower that because it was too high to pay each month. I walked out of there dizzy, spinning, enticed by the brand new fancy car and fast talking, salesmen who put me into a lower interest rate loan but not by very much percentage wise and into a new loan for a newer vehicle which included all the money I still owed on my other contract plus I gave them {$1000.00} which they used towards paying for the vehicle I traded in and warranties for the new car I did n't want and did n't need and charged me a lot for all of those warrenties that I did n't ask for or want. My new car payment is {$760.00} a month and every month I am barely able to pay my bills without using up credit on my credit cards to get by for foodl, etc.

Problem with additional products or services purchased with the loan
Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXXmy XXXX XXXX XXXX broke down on the interstate. I had the vehicle towed to Nissan of XXXX located at XXXX XXXX XXXX., XXXX, GA. After performing a diagnostic test on the car Nissan contacted me to say a Mass Air Flow sensor caused the problem. I was also advised the tire rod on the vehicle was bent. Nissan repaired the sensor and the tire rod. They then contacted me to say my transmission is bad in the vehicle due to the wrong fluid being in it. I have never had my transmission serviced on the vehicle. The only maintenance performed outside of Nissan was an oil change. Nissan of XXXX had conflicting stories from their technicians. One tech said the fluid was yellow in color while another said it was black. This raised concerns. So after they sent whatever samples off to a lab it was determined it was not the proper fluid. Well my concern is who added the fluid to the vehicle and why was it yellow for one tech then black for another. Where did they get these samples they sent off for testing? Was it the black sample or the yellow sample? Nissan 's Security Plus Warranty Department refused to honor my warranty and will not repair my transmission. My car has never had transmission service, their techs had conflicting stories and why was the transmission issue not diagnosed initially. I believe someone added a bad fluid to the vehicle at Nissan because the issue did not come up until after they had the car diagnosis done a second time. I am still paying Nissan Finance {$500.00} a month on this vehicle until XX/XX/XXXX. The warranty I purchased costs {$2100.00}. Now that I need the warranty they will not honor it. Please assist.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I 've purchased XXXX Nissan Altima at XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, NY. We agreed on cash price of {$12000.00} and after my down payment of {$2400.00} I financed remaining balance via Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation bank for 72 months. At the time of purchase I did not notice that car dealer added Extended warranty/service charge in the amount of {$2100.00} as well as Maintenance fee in the amount of {$890.00}. Later on I have reviewed Nissan retail installment contract, because I was planning to refinance this loan, since I had better interest rate offered to me through XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and noticed above mentioned charges. I 've called a dealer and was told that I can cancel it and get refund check, but I 'll have to come in with vehicle ( 1 hour drive ) to sign Odometer and Damage disclosure Statement as well as Dealer Cancellation request form which I did on XX/XX/XXXX. After that I have placed numerous phone calls to Nissan bank and the XXXX XXXX and inquired about my refund check. I did not get any phone call back from the dealer at all. Bank 's customer service acted like they trying to help me, and started Special Investigation on this issue, but they could not proceed, because dealership did not return their phone calls too. Until today I have not received refund on services, I never requested. I have refinanced this loan with XXXX XXXX for much better interest rate since, and until today I still wait for refund check or explanation phone call from XXXX XXXX, Finance Manager from XXXX XXXX in XXXX, NY, on where my refund is.

Incorrect information on your report

Vehicle loan or lease: Loan

Account status incorrect
Complaint: I have financed my automobile through Nissan Motor Finance since XXXX of XXXX. I have a 5 year loan on my vehicle. My monthly payments were made via auto pay on time every month for 3 years without incident. In XXXX of XXXX, Nissan Finance, without any warning or notification, simply stopped taking my auto payments. I received no late payment notice, and only stumbled upon the fact that the XXXX payment was not taken when the XXXX payment came due..by this time the XXXX payment had been reported to the credit reporting agencies as 30 days past due. According to Nissan, although I have a 5 year loan, the auto payment option stopped at the end of three years and had to be manually reinstated by me via their website at that time. I had no idea, nothing in the loan paperwork tells me this. One might have thought they might have notified me that this was the case. I have reinstated the auto pay, and all payments continue to be made every month. Attempts to have the late payment removed from my credit report have been futile. I feel strongly that this should not be on my credit report, as I did not " miss '' a payment.
