Problem with additional products or services purchased with the loan
Complaint: On XXXX we purchased a new 2017 Nissan XXXX XXXX and financed it with Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation.
When we were deciding on a vehicle, the salesperson informed us that the vehicle came with the Nissan Navigation System. The system is used in the vehicle for mapping as well as many online options through your smart phone.
We tried to connect the system to use with our vehicle ( after purchase ), which included downloading the " application '' on the smartphone.
I went to the Nissan website and referred to the instructions. The website also stated that this option is available with our vehicle. I tried to follow the steps to utilize the system. In the process, I spoke with a representative of Nissan, and she confirmed that the system is applicable to our vehicle. I tried and tried, finally getting to the point of inputting the vehicle VIN. It was at this time that the website indicated that the package was NOT applicable to our vehicle.
I feel the salesperson was misleading to us as well as the Nissa
n website, and again, with the rep from Nissan.
I feel this is false advertising as the system was one of the reasons we decided on this particular vehicle.

Lender trying to repossess or disable the vehicle
Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I received a phone called from consumers husband stating that consumer vehicle was missing. XXXX was then called because there was no reason for the SUV to be missing. The operator said that XXXX XXXX had consumers XXXX XXXX XXXX. Consumer calls XXXX XXXX and they proceed to say that the suv has a repo out for it from Nissan Acceptance Corporation. They then proceed to tell consumer that consumer needed to make an appt to get consumer personal item out of the SUV after they take everything out of the vehicle to assess the condition of the vehicle, XXXX XXXX is hoarding consumers belongs, and unlawfully came and toke consumers vehicle. Also after speaking with Nissan ( XXXX ) she told consumer that XXXX XXXX was not to go inside consumers vehicle without consumer being present. Nissan also stated that they did not give XXXX XXXX authorization to repo consumer vehicle, that they provided consumer information to a national data company, which is against the law, because Nissan did not get consumers consent to give a third party the consumers personal information. Consumer never received the statutory proper notices by mail per the North Carolina law stating they were about to repo consumers vehicle.

Credit inquiries on your report that you don't recognize
Complaint: I went in for my fourth lease over the last 9 years or so. I was told I was a tier one leasee and that I didnt need my credit run due to my long history of positive on time payments with Nissan over the last nine years. I have discovered that they ran my credit twice on XX/XX/17 without my authorization - causing my credit report to have two hard inquiries, which cause my report to drop from a perfect XXXX to a XXXX. I need this fixed as Im trying to buy a home and my mortgage is dependent on this.

Billing problem
Complaint: XXXX XXXX sold me a Nissan Altima under false pretenses stating it had a clean XXXX ( which I just found out it does not ) and under the false pretense that I had a 6.34 % rate. I overpaid for this car from the beginning based on their lie, as the damage on the XXXX that they claimed was clean immediately reduced the value of the car, which was greatly exaggerated. As for the 6.34 % APR, only 69 % of my payments have gone towards principle, which means I basically have a high interest credit card type payment for a car loan. I asked Nissan about it and they blamed the extensions they've given, but they never explained these extensions could nearly raise my interest paid to 500 % of what it should have been. When trying to trade of the Nissan completely, I found my car to be at nearly {$11000.00} negative equity, which means I can't leave Nissan if I want to. Assuming even 200 % the marked interest rate of the loan, over {$3000.00} more would have went to principle making a trade out slightly more possible. I am trapped by Nissan because of their deceit at the dealership and also by Nissan Finance practices themselves.

Debt was paid
Complaint: Called in to speak to NMAC Nissan acceptance motor corporation after payment submitted didnt go thru. They stated they could not take payment over the phone so I paid on their app. I fixed the billing information and submitted a payment. Now it is showing past due over 30 days and reporting on my credit and my husbands. We revieved no email or notification the payment did not go thru the second time after correcting the billing info. Made a payment XX/XX/XXXX as soon as I found out this didnt go thru. No it is pending and when I called in they were very rude and even hung up on my husband. Im trying to get this resolved as I have had the money in the account and paid it. I do not feel this is fair to have a late charge and this hurt our credit when they did nothing on their end after our payments were sent.

Credit inquiries on your report that you don't recognize
Complaint: Due to the fact that I am a victim of identity theft, I contacted the XXXX credit bureau in writing on or about XX/XX/XXXX and I asked XXXX to ask NMAC ( credit reporting company ) to promptly delete their 2 unauthorized inquiries ( dates : XX/XX/XXXX & XX/XX/XXXX ) from my credit file. Unfortunately, and as of this present date, XXXX has recently reported that these 2 unauthorized inquiries that are associated with NMAC ( Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation ) are still currently reporting on my XXXX credit file. Moreover, on XX/XX/XXXX, NMAC has sent me a written letter in which they responded to my CFPB complaint. This NMAC letter, which is also uploaded into this CFPB complaint file, has shown that NMAC is unwilling to take the appropriate actions that are necessary to promptly resolve my recent CFPB complaint. This letter has also shown that NMAC has ultimately decided to NOT take any responsibility for their improper actions and has therefore chosen to dishonestly place the blame on an " unknown '' or " phantom '' Nissan dealership yet my credit report clearly shows that this NMAC organization is the " only '' agency that is fraudulently reporting 2 inquiries on my credit file which are on the 2 dates of XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. Ultimately, an uploaded copy of my XXXX credit report will corroborate this fact and it will also show that NMAC is " complicit '' in their corrupt and unlawful tampering of my credit report.

Problem with additional products or services purchased with the loan
Complaint: I signed a contract with XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/18. I am XXXX yrs old. I was under the impression I was getting a good deal on a car. When I got home my daughter and POA told me I was driving a base model car and over paying for it. I was stuffed into a XXXX car payment for 72 month with outrageous fees for example, one that totaled XXXX alone. I was told I was getting a limited edition vehicle when it was a base model vehicle. My daughter called and spoke to XXXX XXXX about the issue and was told the vehicle couldn't be returned due to the 3 day return Law by the State of GA. I decided to keep the car and get it refinanced. On the XXXX I received texts and calls from the dealership that financing wasn't secured and I needed to bring the car back after I was told I did receive financing and the vehicle couldn't be returned, that I was approved for financing. I talked to a Federal Attorney who informed me I am being what is called YO-YO'ed and I needed to get the Attorney Generals office state involved so I am now informing your office of this dealerships practices and treatment of consumers. The dealership also mentioned I was getting a top of the line vehicle for my money. I have been being harrassed and threatened that I don't own the car, that I didnt receive financing and an approval, told I DID get approved but needed to COMPLETE the transaction? I am confused. When I tried returning the car I was told by the manager XXXX the car can NOT be returned it had been financed I have signed contracts and the 3 day window according to GA State Law had closed, then I was told I could trade out of the vehicle into a XXXX that had been sold after the calls started and after I was told the dealer couldnt SECURE financing all this after I was told the 3 days window had closed to return the vehicle. I dont understand whats going on.

Problem with additional products or services purchased with the loan
Complaint: On XX/XX/2018, I had an issue with my tire and needed to obtain proof of additional products purchased ( Road Hazard ) to get assistance in the current city I live in ( XXXX, FL ). Due to me not having the documents needed, I tried to contact XXXX FL XXXX and my calls was never returned and when I got through to Sales I was denied assistance.
I then reached out to corporate and made a complaint ( XXXX # XXXX ) and requested to cancel my XXXX XXXX extended warranty and additional products purchased through the dealership ( GAP and Road Hazard ). XXXX XXXX promptly processed my request to cancel my extended warranty ( Case # XXXX ) but I am still having issues cancelling my GAP and Road Hazard because the XXXX FL dealership is giving me the " run around '' to process the request.
Due to the numerous issues I am having with XXXX and being tied to a vehicle loan, I only wish to pay my car loan and obtain other business needed with another company ( GAP/ Road Hazard ).
On XX/XX/2018, I spoke with a specialist at XXXX named " XXXX '' and left a voicemail explaining the issues with this dealership but I do not know what else to do. I will not and find it ridiculous that I drive or complete the process through mail with the dealership. I have done ever other request via phone/ electronic and I wish to proceed that way.

Problem with additional products or services purchased with the loan
Complaint: In XX/XX/2016, I financed a vehicle with XXXX XXXX of XXXX. At financing, I opted to take the gap coverage. I am attaching a copy of my sales contract that clearly shows that the XXXX XXXX was included at the time of financing. Unfortunately, a few months later, and accident occurred that totaled the vehicle. My standard auto insurance funded a claim, but as expected, the amount they paid was shy of the total left on the finance contract. This is where the gap insurance I opted for should have covered me. I have made repeated calls and visits to the dealership and XXXX XXXX about this matter, but they refuse to process my claim. The Nissan dealership, nor XXXX XXXX, does nothing to help me process my gap coverage claim. Instead, all they seem to be able to do is report that I have a {$10000.00} collection balance with their organization on my credit report ; despite the Gap coverage.

Excess mileage, damage, or wear fees, or other problem after the lease is finish
Complaint: My three year Nissan lease expires next month. I have been informed by Nissan NMAC that I must pay : - {$390.00} for a Disposition Fee - {$230.00} Excess wear for three small scratches ( two are on the hubcaps ) The Disposition fee was never disclosed while at the dealership when I signed the lease.
The fee for three small scratches is exhorbitent. It is impossible to drive a car in the XXXX XXXX for three years and not get a scratch on it.
These hidden fees are abusive. Attached is the correspondance I have had with Nissan NMAc to resolve this matter. I would welcome any assistance you can provide me.
Thanks, XXXX XXXX XXXX
