Complaint: They put on my credit report I owed XXXX I dont know these people I was never contacted it took me along time to build my credit score up and now they have damaged it I had a score of 763 but now with this it makes me so anrgy. On the XXXX site it also talks of other people that dont have these bills and they have reported to credit bureau. These people are trying to scam old people plus XXXX knows who else. something needs to be done.

Complaint: On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, I received an alert that I have a new collection activity on my credit file. I found that it was this company ( Midwest Recovery Systems ) that supposedly purchased this account from another debt collector. I contacted them and XXXX, the recovery specialist informed me that it came from a payday loan that was taken out in XXXX and that he did not have the original paperwork that I asked for. I told him that I wanted to dispute this, and he told me that it would stay on my file until it was paid in full. He did say that he could make payment arrangements in order to settle the debt, but the mark on my credit will stay for seven years. I am a XXXX veteran XXXX, and I do not have the type of money he is seeking for a debt that I have no knowledge of.

Complaint: I received a new account notification from a credit monitoring service I use on XX/XX/2016 and upon looking into this, Midwest Recovery Solutions has an open collections account for me for what I 'm assuming is a payday loan through XXXX for {$800.00}. There are several problems with this : I have never taken out a payday loan, have never heard of XXXX nor received any correspondence whatsoever from that " company '' in regards to the account in question, and have never heard of Midwest Recovery Solutions nor received any correspondence by certified mail, phone, or email in regards to the account in question. I attempted to reach Midwest Recovery Solutions via phone, but was unable to. This account needs to be deleted immediately from my credit reports.

I called to find out why this has been placed on my credit report to and they said it was from a XXXX XXXX of {$840.00} in XXXX from XXXX XXXX. I have never received or applied for a payday loan and this is fraudulent. I asked for a proof of debt and they would not send. I have never received funds from this company and they need to be removed this from ALL XXXX credit bureaus asap! This is a scam to collect money. XXXX XXXX is no longer in business as well. This is complete Fraud!

Complaint: An agency known as Midwest Recovery Systems contacted me on XXXX/XXXX/16 via the phone stating I was about to be served with legal papers. Since I have heard this scam before, I yelled and them and hung up. I found an entry on my XXXX credit report today that dropped my credit score by XXXX points which alleges I owe {$680.00} to a company known as " XXXX XXXX '' which I have never heard of and have never done business with. I never received any written communication from this company nor anything stating I have a right to request verification and dispute this so-called " debt '' as per the Fair Debt and Collection Act. They have harassed me and placed a mark against my credit for a matter I know nothing of which appears to be downright fraudulent. I have requested an investigation with XXXX and also to never be contacted again by these people.
