Complaint: * * * I DID NOT OBTAIN A LOAN FROM XXXX/XXXX. I repeat I have never done any business with XXXX/XXXX. I never got nor received a payday loan/money from XXXX. Someone used my Identity to open an account with XXXX. This is IDENTITY THEFT/FRAUD SCAM : I take my credit serious and do have a 100 % Excellent Pay History with all XXXX-Credit Bureaus. On Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX. I checked my credit as I do every day. I noticed an odd name on my credit report with XXXX & XXXX that I have never seen before " MIDWST RCVRY " {$720.00}... I immediately called XXXX Credit Bureau to place a FRAUD/DISPUTE ALERT ON MY CREDIT REPORT and they immediately placed a FRAUD ALERT to all of Credit Bureaus : XXXX and XXXX. It was XXXX that gave me more information about who & what is " MIDWST RCVRY " {$720.00}... They told me it was Midwest Recovery Systems to call them at XXXX, so I did call Midwest Recovery Systems on Wednesday XX/XX/2016, and spoke to XXXX, she told me there was a loan opened XX/XX/XXXX with XXXX, XXXX XXXX chking acct # : XXXX, that is all the information XXXX had and I told her I do not have a checking acct # : XXXX with XXXX. I also spoke to XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, Manager and XXXX. Everyone at Midwest said the loan opened XXXX, but they show no deposit date of funds and they do not know the amount of funds. That already shows INVALID INFORMATION, IDENTITY THEFT/FRAUD. I told them I have never opened a loan with XXXX XXXX XXXX, I never received any money from them. I do not know who they are, I do not have a checking acct # : XXXX, there is no paper work ever sent to me from XX/XX/XXXX till present XX/XX/XXXX to tell me I owe this debt. How can I owe a Debt I never got nor opened with XXXX. So far all the information they have does not apply to me, it is INVALID INFORMATION. I was able to learn more about XXXX they went out of business to discover XXXX, bought a list and I called over at XXXX XXXX XXXX, on Tuesday XX/XX/XXXX. This is the information I have found on XXXX/XXXX, XXXX, XXXX NY XXXX, XXXX : XXXX, Phone : XXXX, XXXX Email : XXXX... Additional Employees : No known Employees and the web site link does not work. I have called and no one answers. I am not able to get hold of anyone. I called back to XXXX, to tell them how upset I am over this IDENTITY THEFT SOMEONE IS USING MY NAME, THIS IS FRAUD/SCAM created by from XXXX & XXXX. I WILL NOT PAY {$720.00} FOR A PAYDAY LOAN I NEVER GOT. I AM A VICTIM OF IDENTITY THEFT/FRAUD. I was told by XXXX to file FRAUD/COMPLAINS with XXXX, CFPB, Attorney General Office, and file a Police Report. I have done all of that. I have filed FRAUD ALERTS AND COMPLAINTS WITH XXXX, CFPB, Attorney General Office and Police Report as of Wednesday XX/XX/XXXX. I gave it another try and called XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Wednesday XXXX XXXX, XXXX and spoke to XXXX and XXXX. Wow someone answered over there. I am shocked. I ask them about XXXX, to let them know it is FRAUD, someone used my name with them and I did not take a loan from XXXX and both XXXX & XXXX told me all they did was give a list to Midwest Recovery Systems and they did not validate the list of the information to make sure it was correct and accurate. I told XXXX who I was, he has no information to give me all he said was XXXX

Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, I logged into to my account with XXXX XXXX and noticed that my score had dropped significantly. When I clicked on the factor it showed that there had been an account turned in to collections. The said account was for a pay day loan from a company called XXXX XXXX XXXX, and was turned over to Midwest Recovery Solutions, who had turned the account over to collections. I have never heard of XXXX XXXX XXXX and do not have pay day loans. I have received no written correspondence of any kind from either company. The first I 've heard of both companies was when I saw their names on my credit report. I have filed a direct dispute with them through XXXX XXXX, but I felt that I should also file a complaint.

Complaint: I recently have been working on my credit and when I got an alert from Midwest recovery for collections - I was shocked. Not only am I unable to verify any correspondence since 2012 - when they are saying the account was open but they have the incorrect address on file. I do n't understand how after 4 years this can pop up without any prior notice. I 've had the same address for over 3 years and has been updated on all my credit reports. If they were to properly provide a notice of attempt to collect a debt - they could have easily found my home address. In XXXX Carolina, by law a debt collector can not continue to attempt to collect a debt without good faith attempt to contact the individual. I have not been contacted at all. Please help in getting this off of my credit reports and have the company provide proper service proof of debt.

Complaint: I just checked my credit and have a collection attempt showing up this month from a company called Midwest Recovery Systems claiming to be collecting on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX. I 've found this to be a Pay Day Loan service. I have never in my life obtained a Pay Day Loan, from XXXX XXXX or any other Pay Day Loan company. I 've emailed them saying the debt is n't mine and that it is fraudulant, but in looking online, it seems I am just one of many consumers being impacted and targeted by these XXXX companies. I also would like to add that I 've never been contacted by this company in any way prior to them showing up on my credit report.

Complaint: Just recently i received an alert that a collection was placed on all XXXX of my credit reports, the collector showed as Midwest Recovery Systems with listing of an orginal creditor of XXXX XXXX i have never done business or had an acct with this company i was somewhat surprised.As far as the collector Midwest Recovery Systems i had dealt with this company once before, where they fraudulently posted another collection to my credit report and later after filing a complaint they removed the fraudulent collection.To me apears this company does this fraudulent activity on a regular basis to many consumers time and time again. Today they commited to serious violations.Violation # XXXX they send no letter/bill or any correspondance before putting a collection on the consumers credit report, not allowing consumer the opportunity to ask that debt be validated. Violation # XXXX The state of NC requires any collector trying to collect a debt from consumers living in the state to be licensed in the state, Midwest Recovery Systems is not licensed to do business in the state of XXXX.That could be another reason they dont send consumers documentation/letter or bill for these fraudulent debts, since that would provide a paper trail for the consumer to provide proof of their violation to the north carolina attorney general as proof aof an unlicensed debt collector who is in voilation of the statue which carries a considerable fine.But i will still contact the North Carolina Attorney General and as what documentation they need to prove that Midwest Recovery Systems had indeed contact me about a debt and is doing business in the state.So XXXX the violated the F.C.R.A and XXXX Violated XXXX law.So i expect this ftaudulent collections be removed from my credit reports within the next XXXX days, if not i will discuss this locally on my options to pursue this via the legal system and report to the state agencies.
