This company, XXXX, is no longer in business, according the the BBB. Also on XX/XX/2014 XXXX of the State of California issued a Permanent Injunction against this company. This collection needs to be immediately removed from my credit report.

Complaint: Received alert today of a negative item was posted to my credit report. Contacted Midwest Recovery Systems to find out what this item was. I talked to XXXX XXXX, who was rude, distrepecrltful and very unprofessional who told me the creditor was XXXX whom I had a payday loan with in XXXX 2012. I have never heard of nor did any business with company. Told him I never received anything in the mail regarding this collection. He said no they did n't send anything in the mail and they did n't have to because this was there 1st contact and this was all that was needed. I said no it was n't and by law I have 30 days to respond and I was n't given that time to respond, so please remove this item immediately from my credit report. He said they were not going to remove anything until this account was paid in full and hung up on me..

Complaint: I received an email on my credit report that I have an alert. When I looked it up. It stated that I owed XXXX XXXX group {$740.00}. I was never notified of this from Midwest Recovery. I spoke to the manager and he stated it was taken out on XXXX XXXX with XXXX. I told him that I did not have an account with them and why was I not notified of this before it went on my credit report. He stated that he did not have my number or address, but he told me my address on the phone when we spoke. Then the date on the credit report said they recieved this on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. He also say that it came from a third party but could not give me the numbers of the creditor or three party who is XXXX XXXX XXXX

Complaint: I checked my credit and found a collection item. I called Midwest Recovery Group, which told me this is from XXXX XXXX, another debt collection company??? I was told this was from a payday loan in XXXX Ca. in XX/XX/XXXX, I have not lived in XXXX since XX/XX/XXXX. I have not been notified of this, by mail, phone or email. I have no outstanding debts to be put in collections. I do not know who the ORIGINAL creditor is supposed to be. I have been getting calls now for about 2 years and every time I turn to CFPB and get results. I have had this removed before because it is not mine, beyond collections in Ca. I asked for validation to be sent to me but the person never asked for my correct address after I told him I have not lived in XXXX since XX/XX/XXXX. This is a scam just like all the other complaints I have filled out. If this is a payday loan then it its supposed to be arbitrated and no attempt has been made in a legal fashion.the process to put such an item on my reports was circumvented in violation of the FCRA. I have absolutely no information on this debt to even begin disputing it.This is an end run around the law because whatever this is can not stand up to the scrutiny of a court room. In court I have discovery and can get to the bottom of this. I believe it is not mine and the light of a court room would prove this is not mine and who ever is responsible for this item will be found uncollectible due to age of said item. This is a scam and I want my info back. My info has been breached by XXXX XXXX, XXXX, my local hospital and my XXXX doctor in XXXX Ca. I can not fight or dispute this as I have no information about this.

Complaint: I 'm not even sure the original company that issued the payday loan. Which every company it is, it has been well over 5 years ago when I discovered that these payday loans were issued illegally in the state of NC. A few days ago I received a notification on my credit report that I owed MIDWEST RECOVERY SYSTEM. After researching them, it shows that they are trying to collect on a payday loan. I used the XXXX complaint system to have them remove this account from my credit report as their contract was illegally issued in the state of NC. XXXX however only updated the account saying it was valid.

Complaint: Midwest Recovery Systems recently added themselves to my credit report as a collection agency. No info was added about the original debtor. After several attempts to contact the company, I finally spoke with XXXX XXXX whom advised he is a manager. He informed me that the debt is for a payday loan from 2012, which was received from a company named XXXX XXXX. He then advised that the debt was bought by his client, being XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I worked with Maryland 's Dept of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation, whom informed me that payday loans are illegal in MD. They also instructed me not to pay the loan and informed me that they would be seeking legal recourse against the many lenders that are illegally lending to MD residents. I thought this nightmare was over, but now this company is hurting my ability to purchase a home and move forward with other plans for my family as this blemish is bringing my credit score down. I am requesting assistance in removing this issue and learning how to make sure this issue does n't happen again, in the future.

Complaint: According to a new collections account on my credit report from Midwest Recovery Systems, I apparently took out a payday loan from XXXX XXXX on XXXX XXXX, 2012 and defaulted on it in XXXX. I am contesting that this is inaccurate, I never took said loan. This fraudulent activity is now part of my credit report and is a misrepresentation of my score. In addition, Midwest Recovery Systems never sent correspondence to our address prior to reporting it to the credit bureaus. As a matter of fact, I have never heard of either company before, and am reading nothing but complaints and investigations involving this same type of situation. Midwest claims to be a XXXX party collection agency that reports to the credit bureaus, and apparently continues to get away with scamming innocent consumers.

Complaint: I received an alert from my credit monitoring system that I had new changes. When I reviewed, there were XXXX new collections, dated XXXX from Midwest Recovery for XXXX XXXX for XXXX and XXXX XXXX for XXXX. I then contacted Midwest Recovery because I have NO knowledge of these debts. They informed me that they were payday loans take under my SSN through my personal email on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and XXXX/XXXX/XXXX respectively and in my former name. I did not take out these accounts and have n't used my former name since XXXX. I also do not hold a bank account with the bank that the funds were deposited into and never have ( XXXX ). I was told to file a fraud report with my local police department and have but they will not remove the items from my credit report and they do not belong to me. I went to the FTC website to learn what I needed to do about the fraud and it directed me here.
