Complaint: Midwest recovery systems has filed a false claim on my credit report. I never recieved any notification about a debt or communication. It is reported on my credit report as of XXXX XXXX 2016 for a XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX I have researched is a " pay day '' loan company. I have not taaken out a pay day loan and do not owe this debt. I have been monitoring my credit for the last 3 years and this just appears without any notice. I have written them and demanded they remove this negative item immediately. I also imformed them that " Payday '' loans are illegal and unenforceable in NC. I have not taken out a payday loan, and do not owe this debt. I am a XXXX and will take this to litigation as a class action suit as I am sure I am not the only XXXX they victimized in this manner.

Complaint: while checking credit report I noticed a COLLECTION account from Midwest Recovery when I called them they said I had a PAYDAY loan in XXXX Original creditor Current Creditor : XXXX, now its under XXXX ALL SCAM FOLKS,, First never had XXXX from any of these folks, Second, its over XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX of limitations,, third If I did which I did not,, No Calls, No Mails, no nothing! if I was that late! Fourth the only way I found out was when I saw XXXX on my Credit report as a account in collections on XXXX and was forced to call these folks,, I claimed fraud not mine etc now I have to go get a police report on ID THEFT and fax it to XXXX so I can get this off my report! Oh they will send the report to the so called creditors that I never dealt with to fix this discrepancy,, DOESNT XXXX check this so called creditors? these XXXX creditors are blasted by every state agency and XXXX as Scam folks,, How do they get away with contacting XXXX and say yea 5 years ago this was a loan we gave him,, go get the money,,, XXXX cant even tell me the loan amount original, ( BECAUSE THEIR ISNT ANY!!! ) THEN XXXX PUTS IN ON MY REPORT and DROPS ME XXXX points!! WHY COULDNT XXXX call me first or said mail to the house PRIOR TO the Credit report,, is this the tactic they use to get folks to contact them???

Complaint: To CFPB, My name is XXXX XXXX and I am following up on a complaint I requested about Midwest Recovery Systems ( MRS ), using fraud to put a collections account on my credit history. They do n't follow the FCRA law and the correct steps and procedures in the FCRA. They are saying this is from a pay day loan from XXXX in 2012. I have never applied or taken a payday loan in my life. I have also never been contacted by anyone regarding this account ever. I do not believe XXXX is even in business anymore. I want this immediately deleted off my credit report with all the XXXX major Credit Bureaus : It never should have been reported in the first place before having the chance to dispute it within the 30 legal days. I want proof of debt by providing the following : a ) proof of I.D provided at the time of account opening. b ) copy of signed contract ( not a signed application but signed contract ) c ) itemized statements of account activity.d ) itemized breakdown of how you came up with the balance owed. If this company should not resolve this in a timely manner, 30 days, I will pursue legal action as I take my credit very seriously. Complaint: I have a derogatory report for Midwest Recovery Systems on my credit report. I contacted this agency and they informed me this collection is in regards to a pay day loan I have taken out XX/XX/2011. However, I have no knowledge of this payday loan of XXXX . I contacted this number for 5 days straight. XXXX/XXXX/XXXX a lady picked up phone saying " yes! '' then hung up, I called back immediately I was placed on a brief hold then spoke with a XXXX. The debt collector had the last XXXX of my social and email address which he told me they have sent me emails in regards to collection. This is false. I asked him if he had the account this " pay day loan was deposited into '' or the agreement signed or anything and he has nothing or the exact date of loan deposited so I can contact my bank. He did n't even have the contact information for XXXX for me to contact personally to investigate this fraud account. I would have remembered the {$800.00} I borrow which I never have and why would they contact me 5 years later if they had my address. He asked me how would I like to take care of this account. I refuse to pay for an account I have no knowledge of or proof. I disputed with XXXX. The agency and pay day loan is all over the internet as a scam. This collection is on my credit report and is FRAUDULENT. PLEASE HELP. It is on my credit report as collections.

This company has never contacted me about this matter in any form. I never received a letter stating who the creditor was and was not given the 30 days to lawfully dispute this claim because I was NEVER contacted. This company is in serious violation of Fair Debt Collection Practice Act. Under this act the consumer ( me ) is to be given a 30 days validation period before a debt collection can be reported to all XXXX major bureaus by a collection company. In this case I have never received a bill or any correspondence from this company or the creditor regarding me owing this debt that is being reported on my credit report.

Complaint: On Friday XXXX XXXX, 2016 I was notified by my credit monitoring service that a new collection, in the amount of {$670.00} from Midwest Recovery Services LLC via XXXX XXXX XXXX was applied to my credit reports. Having not incurred the alleged debt, I did some research and it appears that MRC buys outdated, often incorrect zombie debt and haphazardly applies it to individuals credit reporting agencies, which is a clear violation of Fair Debt Collection Practice Act as in my case they never even allowed me my right to dispute the collection within 30 days. Under the FDCPA the consumer ( me ) is to be given a 30 days validation period before a debt collection can be reported to all XXXX major bureaus by a collection company. That Midwest Recovery System can be so reckless and cavalier with their debt buying and collection practices is nothing short of terrifying. Innocent individuals, like myself, are constantly being put through extreme stress and the onus is on US to clear our names from their egregious practices.

Complaint: Midwest recovery has violated all of the issues above. communication I have never heard of them let alone from them at all. they would not verify any debit at all beside from a loan in XXXX, continued to try and collect after a discharged bankruptcy claiming they didnt know, but they knew enough to falsely change the date form XXXX to XXXX to get it on my credit file. I have never had any dealings with Midwest recovery syste ever no phone calls, no letters no nothing they have violated the consumer protection act and the collection laws they immediately place an account in collections without notifying me prior to this, they have not retrieved or verified the account they are trying to collect on. I called them at the number listed in a XXXX search at XXXX they told me it was from some loan company that i have never heard of they dropped my credit score by XXXX by placing an account with collections while I 'm in the process of trying to purchase a home, they told me it would take 30 days for removal so now i have to wait 30 days and allow my current creditors to see a negative impact to my credit score. They also told me it was from a loan dated XXXX and they listed with the credit bureau it was from XXXX so they could circumvent my bankruptcy on file that was discharged XXXX XXXX XXXX, so they have lied and purposefully cheated the collection laws to continue to collect on bogus debits
