Complaint: Monthly statements do not display current interest rate or breakdown as to how much of monthly payment is principal versus interest. I have written to the company asking for the interest rate of this installment loan, and requesting the XXXX interest rate reduction - but, my correspondence has been ignored. I am a reservist who has been on multiple periods of XXXX XXXX orders since getting this loan ( for an HVAC replacement ) ... Complaint: In XXXX of XXXX, I responded to an online advertisement for an unsecured loan. I applied for the loan with the intent to pay off my outstanding car loan and other smaller bills. When applying for the loan, it was n't until after I was approved did I realize the unsecured loan was now a title loan. XXXX reduced the loan by the payoff amount and retained the title of the car. I launched a complaint against the company in XXXX XXXX during the time of an unknown business acquisition. My account with XXXX is now transferred to Lendmark Financials in XXXX XXXX. At this time I was told by the customer service agent at the XXXX, CA location she could no longer discuss my XXXX account. Ever since the transfer to Lendmark Financials in XXXX XXXX, my monthly statements DO NOT reflect how payments are applied or the active balance. Only in the month of XXXX XXXX did my statement reflect my balance of {$7300.00}. I have no way of knowing what the balance is unless I call every time to get this information. With every called I am told they are still working on transferring everything over and they apologize. I have made numerous calls asking how much would I have to pay to purchase my car back from them and gain the title and every response is different. I called them in XXXX XXXX stating I did not want the car anymore and they could come pick it up. I was told they are not in the business of repossessing cars. I am STUCK in an upside down title loan that still has a balance of {$7000.00} something dollars for the last 12 months. I have since bought another car.

Complaint: I took out a loan with XXXX in XXXX for {$3000.00}, I have paid {$1600.00} in payments since and they say my balance is {$2400.00}. They say I am delinquent and they are going to take legal action against me if I dont pay in XXXX days. I got a statement in the mail from XXXX that is dated XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and it says I owe {$130.00} on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. When I told the XXXX person on the phone about this they said they just send those out they dont really know if you have paid or not. I just paid {$220.00} on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. They never give you your balance unless you ask for it and when you say why can you see your statements online or your balance they say it is under construction. Is this loan legal in Virginia? If it is why?

XXXX called Lendmark financial and asked an employee named XXXX to call me regarding the $ XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX claims is owed to them on purchase of my motorcycle from several months ago. XXXX then called me ( as a third party person ) at XXXX today, to discuss my obligation and responsibility to contact XXXX XXXX XXXX and pay off this debt. My account at Lendmark Finance is current, all payments have been on time or early. I dont have another payment due until XXXX XXXX with Lendmark. So a representative of Lendmark had no reason to call, most especially on behalf of another business. XXXX shared details of a debt with a third party and asked them to make a collection call on her behalf, and on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I feel both parties violated rules and regulations and would like to have this matter investigated.

Complaint: Back in XXXX I applied for and received a loan from Lendmark Financial located in XXXX Maryland in the amount of {$6500.00}. As of today, XXXX, I am still owe over {$7000.00}. All of my payments that have been made are being applied to the interest only. I do not believe that is fair business practice to consumers and I believe that it is up to our elected officials to stop this unfair business practice and put a stop to lenders who out to only steal from hard-working consumers. It is really hard today with extremely high cost for just about everything. I have reached out to Lendmark to make a settlement offer but they refuse to accept a lower amount. I want to take them to court and start a class-action suit against them.

I am only 30 days late and i get daily calls from them. They have also called my 3 references and left them daily voicemails. Harassing me about payments. Complaint: 2 weeks after i purchased the vehicle in XXXX 2014 the motor blew up. I then had to take out another loan to replace it even tho i purchased a warranty which was denied when i was trying to have the vehicle fixed.Neither the dealership ( XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX al ) or the finance company ( lendmark financial ) resolved the issue. I was told it was my responsibility. I have nothing but issues with this vehicle. I have been behind because of the issues with the vehicle. The solution was for the finance company to rewrite the loan so i could pay for it or not fall behind. I stiil owe thousands more than this vehicle is worth so i cant trade it it. Pretty much they point their finger at the other company and tell me its my problem.
