Complaint: I leased a Hyundai XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, CA in XX/XX/XXXX for a 36-mo. term. XX/XX/XXXX I decided to lease a new vehicle from XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, TX. At that time XXXX XXXX contacted Hyundai to obtain the payoff amount to pay off the remainder of the lease term. XXXX XXXX mailed on XX/XX/XXXX a check in the amount of {$6000.00} per Hyundai Motor Finance 's ( HMF ) instructions and the check was cashed the following day XX/XX/XXXX. Within days of leasing a new car from XXXX XXXX, the XXXX was shipped from XXXX XXXX to the GM at XXXX XXXX XXXX. The GM at XXXX XXXX made the shipping arrangements. I never had any contact with HMF after I returned the car and XXXX XXXX paid off the remainder of the lease. On XX/XX/XXXX I applied for a mortgage loan and found that late pays in XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX and a charge-off was reported on my credit in XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. I immediately contacted HMF to find out why. They told me the car was returned XX/XX/XXXX and they did not receive a payoff payment XX/XX/XXXX. This was alarming to me because I had not been in possession of the XXXX since XX/XX/XXXX and I have a copy of the {$6000.00} payoff check that was cashed by HMF. I then requested a full payment history that details the source of who the payments were coming from and a vehicle return receipt and photo ID showing who returned the vehicle. HMF kept passing me around and refused to provide the documentation I requested. I finally spoke to XXXX in the Recovery dept of HMF and he sent me a simple payment history ( without details of where the payment source came from ) and it shows that HMF did not record that they received the {$6000.00} and that someone had been making payments on the XXXX up until XX/XX/XXXX. He told me that HMF spoke to me on XX/XX/XXXX about damages on XXXX. That conversation did not take place with me because I had not talked to HMF since XX/XX/XXXX. It is apparent to me that a Hyundai employee must have taken the XXXX after it was shipped to California in XX/XX/XXXX, drove it and made payments on it without my knowledge or consent, stole my identity, and returned it on XX/XX/XXXX. HMF either failed to report the payoff check or an employee intercepted the check and fraudulently cashed it. I found out that the GM at XXXX XXXX, who I leased the XXXX from and who I shipped the XXXX back to in XX/XX/XXXX had been fired and is no longer working for Hyundai. Hyundai refuses to provide me any information proving who returned and made payments on the XXXX. I believe Hyundai is passing me around and refusing to provide pertinent information about my account in an effort to avoid proving their liability in this apparent fraudulent activity.

Complaint: We went to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, CA XXXX to purchased XXXX XXXX. My husband communicated with salesman and sale manager XXXX before we head down there but once we got there, they told us they dont have the car. We drove 75 miles on their word they have the car on the lot! Salesman, XXXX, was very nice and helpful so we thought we will give it a chance even though they dont have the car. They promised the car by Monday XXXX the lastest but that never happened. They also overcharged us by {$1000.00} but we caught it after we got home. I reached out to XXXX but didnt hear back from him with straight answer and not within a timely manner. We wait until last Friday and the dealership still not reach out to us. We got tired of waiting for them so we went to another dealership and found out that XXXX XXXX already submitted our paperwork to Kia Motors Finance to fund a car that they never even provided! They never provided us a car but already take fund under our name. We were told when we signed paper work with them that this is not final and will not submit until they have the car. We reached out to Kia finance and they were not helpful. They said to contact XXXX XXXX directly. This is extremely disappointing. How could north Kia get the fund for the car that they havent provided us. We would really need help. Please

Complaint: I spoke to KIA in XX/XX/XXXX about my account. I have been unable to work since XX/XX/XXXX, I receive 60 % of my salary. I had to place six to ten payment to the end of my car loan since XX/XX/XXXX. I spoke with them around XX/XX/XXXX. I explained I could not payoff this loan XX/XX/XXXX. They said I could keep making the monthly payment until it is paid off. Now I get a letter saying I am 48 days pass due as of XX/XX/XXXX. I wanted the due dated extended till the total payoff of XX/XX/XXXX. I had to take a double look and see they sent a default notice to me anyway. I owe {$700.00} I called twice to get help, all they kept saying was pay now, pay now. I felt such pressure I said I would pay {$100.00} by XX/XX/XXXX. However the clock keeps ticking and they are reporting me late on my credit report. I get paid once a month on the XX/XX/XXXX, Please can you help me.I already got beat by KIA selling me a fraud type car warranty. I also want add the KIA warranty to this complaint. Never used it, never asked for it, they added the {$3000.00} to my loan

Complaint: I have been paying extra on each monthly payment to lower my principle balance. The company isn't applying the payments correctly. They continue to lower my upcoming monthly payment by the extra payment amount. Eventually, I would skip a payment using their method because the monthly amount continues to lower each month. However, the extra payments should be applied to the outstanding balance, lowering the total amount owed on principle. My monthly payment would remain the same if they were applying correctly.

Complaint: End of Lease notice emailed on XX/XX/2019 showing amount owed. Check for {$460.00} cashed by Hyundai capital by electronic check on XX/XX/2019. The letter from XX/XX/2019 stated that the funds needed to be paid within 15 days. I received an additional notice that the account was not paid via text. I called back on XX/XX/2019 and explained the check had been cashed on XX/XX/2019 and they explained they posted the payment to the wrong account on XX/XX/2019. I said I did not want this to reflect poorly on my credit since it was the company 's error. I was told they would get it reversed and show that it was paid on time. This did not happen and my credit report is showing a delinquency that is paid. I want this removed as it was not my error and was paid in a timely fashion. On XX/XX/2019 I spoke with XXXX XXXX, Senior Customer Service Manager and he explained that all the notes reflect what I have stated in this complaint and that they are not able to do anything at the customer service level since they are not credit report experts. I explained that I wanted them to reverse their error so the credit report would be updated and I was told they are only able to file an investigation to see what is already in their system as a company error. I was told this can take up to 30 days and they would not send me anything in writing that I would have to call back to check on the status or if I saw it was reversed on my credit that would be proof it was done. This is not acceptable.

Complaint: Through out the duration of my loan I made two payments, one approximately on the XXXX and one on the XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX I began receiving calls from Hyundai Capital America stating that they had not received any of my payments. I explained to them on serveral occasions that I submitted payments. I also requested they document our conversations. In XX/XX/XXXX I noticed they began reporting late payments which was inaccurate. I called them and advised them and still no resolution. I faxed proof of payments and still no resolution. I then reported a discrepancy with the credit bureaus and they declined responsibility after I submitted proof from my back. I called them to question the dispute and they stated they have a section called care team that dealt with the disputes but I was not able to speak to them regarding my dispute. They failed to assume responsibility and have impacted my credit after I have tried to contact them via fax and submitted the proof.
