Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX we purchased a XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX the XXXX was totaled in a car accident. Our insurance, XXXX XXXX, paid XXXX XXXX XXXX via check. We were under the impression that the GAP insurance we received from XXXX would cover the additional amount - because that is what GAP does. XX/XX/XXXX, we were notified that we were given inadequate GAP insurance and still owed to XXXX. This means that it had been over 60 days since our last payment which was made in XX/XX/XXXX - I must also add that we paid in XXXX because we were told it would count against us but that we would not have to pay after while GAP was being sorted. We begin our payments - always over the phone via debit - because they shut our online account down. We had paid on time leading up to the accident, always online. We never received communication from XXXX XXXX XXXX in regards to what was owed until the payment was late by months - we were always unaware of what was left owed and would make payments when we were called. If I must add we were also in poverty at this time.
From XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX we were consistently listed as current and on time with XXXX XXXX XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX I realized that they were still on our credit although we had fully paid them off. I disputed this. Unbeknownst to me, XXXX then maliciously put us in " Charge Off '' status from XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX. This obliterated my credit score and ruined my chance of getting a mortgage. A company that has always put us as " on-time '' has ruined our credit after being paid.
To top it off, in XX/XX/XXXX XXXX also approved us for a car loan at {$32000.00} price. We ended up going with another car, but for someone in " charge off '' status - a {$32000.00} loan seems odd.

Complaint: My main complaint is I feel my vehicle XXXX XXXX is no longer safe to drive. I request for XXXX XXXX XXXX to apply the repurchase program. However I was told I didn't qualify for the program under the Arizona Lemon Law. However, as a goodwill gesture ( HMA ) agreed to settle my claim and offer to reimbursement of 2 car payments.
I purchased this vehicle new in XX/XX/XXXX with less than 50 miles on it. In early XX/XX/XXXX I started to have mechanical issues and repairs on my car. Still under warranty. XX/XX/XXXX my engine was replaced with a new one. On XX/XX/XXXX I took my car in for a oil change and recall on the software ( computer system ). On XX/XX/XXXX as I was driving down XXXX XXXX, my check engine light came on and shortly afterwards my car stopped in the middle of the road. I immediately contacted the service at XXXX XXXX XXXX. At this time I advised XXXX XXXX service manager of the situation and that I was going to bring the car back in. After about twenty minutes I was able to get it started and returned back to the dealership. As i was headed back to the dealership I was not able to drive more than 35-40 miles per hour. That was as fast as the car would go. At one point I stared to pull over and call for a tow truck, but didn't have time because the dealership was closing shortly. My car has been at the dealership since XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX and still unable to figure out the problem. On XX/XX/XXXX ( HMA ) ordered another new engine to be put in my car and again this didn't fix the problem.My check engine light is still on, with no near repair date if any. Please help.

Complaint: This is a complaint against XXXX XXXX.
Here is the story in short : On XX/XX/XXXX I was involved in an accident with a vehicle I leased from XXXX XXXX. My insurance company, XXXX declared the vehicle as a total loss and advised me they would be paying off my remaining lease with XXXX XXXX.
I was advised by both XXXX and my leasing company that whatever XXXX doesnt cover, my GAP insurance, which is mandatory by the law of NY, would cover the rest.
I was in contact many times with XXXX and I was under the impression that everything was taken care of.
Around XX/XX/XXXX I received a bill from XXXX XXXX for {$4800.00}. THIS IS THE LAST BILL I EVER RECEIVED FROM XXXX XXXX.
I was surprised I had a balance. After many back-and-forths with both XXXX and Hyundai, it seemed that there was some mistake with the way XXXX adjusted the vehicle. Something to do with rebates. XXXX told me they would submit the balance and GAP insurance would cover the rest.
I spoke to Hyundai many times. First they kept on telling me I do not have GAP insurance. I explained to them it is required by law, and it is also on my lease agreement. I was promised many times return calls from a supervisor. THEY NEVER EVER RETURN CALLS!
Finally, they admitted I have GAP insurance, but for some reason which they could not explain, they did not want to file a claim with GAP.
They told me many times they would call me to back to explain, but that never happened.
I believe the reason they did not file is because, as I later found out, HYUNDAI OWNS THE GAP INSURANCE, and they do not want to pay it! So they just dont make the claim!
My leasing company told me they never ever had such an experience with any other company.
Anyways, I was under the impression that between XXXX and GAP, everything would be taken care of.
AGAIN, AFTER XXXX TOLD ME THEY WERE SENDING ANOTHER PAYMENT, I NEVER ECIEVED ANOTHER BILL!
Sometime later, I was checking my credit report with XXXX XXXX, and I noticed HYYUNDAI FINANACE still chowed me owing XXXX. I checked again with XXXX and they said they sent the 2nd check, and they dont know why it shows Im still owing the money. I called XXXX XXXX. They admitted they received XXXX check, but we were still disputing why no claim was filed with GAP insurance for the remainder. The reps didnt know why, and a supervisor was supposed to look into it and call me back.
I was never called back. I emailed them and was not responded to.
This argument was for the small amount XXXX did not cover.
When I saw my Credit Report was still showing I owed the full XXXX, and it showed I was not paying it, I filed a complaint with the Credit Agency through XXXX XXXX.
Instead of just correcting, XXXX XXXX did update the amount, but instead of just billing and discussing the remaining {$560.00}, they sent it an agency for collection, and reported me as over 60 days behind and delinquent on my payment. They reported it as a write-off.
I WAS NEVER EVER BILLED FOR THIS AMOUNT.
NEVER EVER!!!!!!
How can I be delinquent on something I was never billed for?!?!
I believe they did this in retaliation against me for filing a complaint through XXXX XXXX.
As a side point, it should be illegal for the financing bank to own the GAP insurance. There is no oversite and they will never file. Why should they pay when they can just make up any excuse and bill the leaser!
Bottom line : How can I be delinquent on a bill I never received?!?
My credit score was killed because of them. It plummeted for no reason at all! They need to correct this!! Then they should be fined and reprimanded!
I am attaching the most recent bill ( XXXX ) which was before they received a check from XXXX. Then the next thing I received after I filed a complaint. I did not receive ANY correspondence in between these two.

Complaint: I bought a new XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX dealership FL. When I bought the vehicle I traded in XXXX XXXX XXXX. Within one month after buying the vehicle, the car had a dangerous brake failure while driving. I brought the vehicle back to the dealership and requested to take the car back. I requested to return back my trade in value vehicle or equivalent. My request was verbally denied. I understand that brake failures can happen but it was a new vehicle with less than 1500 miles. The remedy I am requesting is to cancel the contract without any negative impact on my credit standing with full recovery of the trade in value amount.

Complaint: XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX To whom it may concern : I am writing to complain about the service I have received from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ). In XXXX, I leased a XXXX XXXX XXXX from the above mentioned company. The Vehicle was returned to XXXX XXXX, located on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, since the lease was ending on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a statement with a balance of {$790.00} due by XX/XX/XXXX .The statement shows the following breakdown : {$390.00} Disposition fee, which I was aware of and have already succesfully processed the payment.
{$400.00} for Excess Wear and Use.
On XX/XX/XXXX when I have returned the vehicle, I was assisted by XXXX, the only representative at the " Lease-End '' department in XXXX XXXX XXXX location. I was never offered a day or a time for the inspection prior to the vehicle return by her. I was advised only to drop off the vehicle at the location mentioned above and that she will assist me with the rest of the process. Per XXXX 's initial inspection the vehicle was in a good condition, she stated there should not be any additional charges besides the disposition fee of {$390.00}. Upon receiving the statement I called the XXXX Quality Control Department on XX/XX/XXXX and spoke to representative named XXXX, who was very unprofessional in handling my complaint, he was rude and sarcastic. All he said, was if I do not agree with the statement and if I do not believe I caused any damages to the car, I need to transfer the balance to anyone I believe is responsible for it, which did not make any sense to me. He also stated that XXXX 's job is to bill clients, and not to assist with such an issue. After that I have explained him that I have taken pictures of the vehicle at the dealership parking lot on the day of the return ( please see attached pictures below ) and that pictures clearly indicate no damages of any kind. Only after that he advised me to go into XXXX XXXX XXXX enter the vehicle VIN number ( XXXX ) and the account number ( XXXX ) to check pictures of the inspected vehicle and the inspection report, that shows 3 different types of damages which are : 1. LF Carpet Burn Hole 1/8 '' to 1/2 '' 2. LT Rocker Panel Outer Dent/No Paint Dmg 3 '' to 4 '' 3. RF Wheel Curb Rash 7 '' to 8 '' After that I advised XXXX, that I do not recognize none of the damages and they clearly contradict with pictures I have taken on XX/XX/XXXX ( day of the return ).
The website pictures were uploaded on the day of inspection XX/XX/XXXX, which is 8 days after I have returned the vehicle. He only suggested to contact the dealership directly, since he could not assist me any further, He also mentioned that the dealership should be held responsible, since the vehicle was in their posession for that period of 8 days from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. Following his advise I called the dealership, and was transferred again to XXXX. XXXX has told me that the dealership can not help me with anything since they do not have the vehicle in their possession anymore, and I need to call the inspection company ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) The representative at XXXX XXXX XXXX has transferred me back to XXXX, stating that the owner of the vehicle and the company that is sending out the statement is XXXX and I need to deal with them. I have been dealing with this issue since then. Noone is willing to give me any explanation of : 1. why the vehicle was not thoroughly inspected on the day of return XX/XX/XXXX and I was not issued a copy of the inspection report?
2. why was the vehicle inspected 8 days after it was returned?
3. why I was never offered an option to be present at the time of the inspection ( even though it was conducted 8 days after the return )?
4. who is responsible for the vehicle after it has been returned.
None of the above mentioned companies are willing to assist me with the issue I am facing. XXXX representatives are not willing to assist me in any way, however, they have sent me another statement dated XX/XX/XXXX, notifying me that if I do not make a payment of {$790.00}, ( {$390.00} of which has been already paid ) they will utilize a collection agency to collect the payment. Since none of the above mentioned company representatives are willing to communicate to each other or get on a conference call to clear the issue, it makes it impossible for me to resolve the problem I am facing. Realizing that this may damage my credit history as well, I seek for your help. If I do not get help from XXXX and resolve this issue quickly, I will have no choice but to seek the help of an attorney to go after all parties that are involved in this mess, that caused me so much emotional distress and can possibly damage my credit. Turned the vehicle in XX/XX/XXXX, lease was up on XX/XX/XXXX, I paid in advance to turn it in early, thought that was it. On XXXX XXXX I received a credit alert that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX reported me delinquent, late 30 days, but early termination, obligation satisfied. It dropped my credit score over 120 points. I called them, they said so sorry, we will start an investigation, and it would help if you could send supporting paperwork, which I did and even mailed return receipt requested. I also reported to XXXX and XXXX and started disputes. On XXXX XXXX XXXX sent me their investigation which found in my favor and changed the status Improved account no delinquency and raised my score to XXXX. I then called XXXX to see why I hadn't heard from them, they said they were still looking into it, which had me puzzled, they said they would know within 30 days. Yesterday, I received another alert that XXXX reported me delinquent again. I am so upset and distraught over this false reporting I called, asked for a supervisor and they said they will start ANOTHER investigation. Please someone help.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I traded in my leased XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for a XX/XX/XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX. The initial intention was to purchase it but they said they would give a good deal on the XX/XX/XXXX and convinced me to bring that specific car that was outside. The car did not have the net, and has a lot of water marks on the glass, which has been cleaned with acid 3 times and every time it gets worse, to the point it is difficult to drive at sunset. That is not the major problem. When the car had approximately XXXX miles, on Sunday, XX/XX/XXXX I was driving to a hospital in LA with 2 friends in the car, on the fast lane. Suddenly the car slowed and slid to the left with an abrupt movement. It was very scary. If felt like it hit a pocket of ice. I thought it was normal because it is a new car. I was doing an internship at Hospital so I had to drive about 80 miles each way and I did it on Mon., Tue, & Wed. and Thu. one way, ( about 560 miles ). On Thursday, coming back, when entering XXXX XXXX, I was driving in the middle lane. Suddenly, the car slip to the left and was very difficult to control ; this time was stronger thant the first time. On Friday I was very afraid so I didn't show up to work and on Sat. XX/XX/XXXX & Sund. XX/XX/XXXX I drove around in town and nothing happened. On Mon. XX/XX/XXXX & Tues XX/XX/XXXX. & Wed XX/XX/XXXX. I drove to and from LA, about XXXX miles a day. I went to XXXX XXXX for a job interview ( drove about 500 miles ). On Wed XX/XX/XXXX, driving on XXXX XXXX to XXXX, I was driving on the slow lane about 55-60 miles/hr and the car abruptally switched to the left and Right in ZigZag. It was very scary. The car has been to the dealership several times to resolve this situation ( after the third incidente ) ... It is now 4 incidents, but they are focusing more on me saying that this bothers me due to my XXXX condition, than for the problem itself ... indeed, their report looks like a report for the cardiologist and not from a mechanic at a dealership. They drove the car for 75 miles and stated that they could not duplicate the problem and called me stating that the car does not have a problem and didn't even bother tocheck it. I am VERY AFRAID of driving a car that is not stable but mostly, a car that we don't know when the slipping will occur. It looks like the car hits an ice puddle. It was so strong that I was ucky in not having any cars on the left or to the right ... I could have killed somebody or killed myself. I need help. I can not continue driving that car. The promised me at the dealership that they would give me another car, but unfortunately they did not give me another car stating that my credit score had dropped. Anyway, their intensions at the dealership were to take this car back but giving it a much less value, meaning that the car they would give me, would be a totally different deal plus the devaluation on this car, making this way the payments go up to around XXXX higher.
On their repair orders, actually it is funny ... they do not mention the problem at all. I even told them that the problem had happened 3 times and it had been very scary.
They removed the " driver 's assistant '' button and told me that the car would be OK. I trusted them and yesterday I almost killed myself!

Complaint: At the end of lease my vehicle was inspected and I was charged for extra wear and tear. The letter they provided detialed that if the balance is not paid by XX/XX/2018 it will be reported to the credit reporting agencies as charged off balance.
I checked my credit report a week ago and saw that this balance was already reported to the credit bureaus as late payment. I called Hyundai Finance and was told they could not do anything about it. I condemned their letter and explained to them that you were not supposed to report anything untill the date you mentioned on the letter. The customer service apologised and said they could not change the past even if I piad the balance off before XX/XX/2018.

Complaint: Back in XX/XX/XXXX my wife and I decided to trade-in our XXXX XXXX XXXX Coupe Vehicle and get a XXXX XXXX XXXX Lease Contract.
We drove it until XX/XX/XXXX and decided we were paying to much for the car and the car insurance when I was not using the car as often because my new job at the time was in the city and I took public transportation to get to work ( The car was literally parked 5 days a week ). My wife and I decided to return the vehicle still in NEW condition.
I was told because it was relatively new, I after they send it to an Auction, I was more likely to pay a small amount back, due to the condition of the vehicle.
After a few months we notice XXXX XXXX decided to notify us that we still owe {$17000.00} which I believe is too high, considering the vehicle is a XXXX vehicle and is in great condition. To make matters worse, I was forced to re-signed at the job I had and was unable to pay that Debt and now they affected my wife and my credit score for not being able to pay that huge amount, for a car we barely used.

Complaint: I have advised the CEO of this company twice about their practice of billing my account when I have cancelled the payment. Whenever, I cancel that payment and advise them that I will make the payment on another date they still BILL my checking account thereby causing my checking account to to overdrawn.
