A few lease payments fail behind, and I received ongoing robo calls to my cell phone.
I reached out to an attorney who advised me to make a three way call to call XXXX XXXX XXXX while his office was on the other line, requesting that they stop the robo collection calls.
I continued to pay my lease off, However, Hyundai continued to dial my cell phone using different phone numbers. I maintained a call log.
Moreover, I have a paper trail of all or my payments.
My lease concluded on XX/XX/XXXX, and the vehicle was turned over to XXXX XXXX Dealership in accordance to my lease agreement.

Complaint: Hi, I have had numerous issues with Hyundai motor finance USA. I have had two issues of getting deferments on my account and then they reported them as 30 day lates. Ive also had some late fees showing on my credit as 30,60 days late. Ive never been more than 26 days late on my account I have always made my regulatory schedule payments. I had an XXXX credit score and now because of Hyundai reporting 2 -30 day lates and 1-60 late my score of down to XXXX all due to Hyundai as every other account in my credit has and shows a perfect payment history.
This needs to be corrected and stopped.

Complaint: On XXXX, a payment due for XX/XX/XXXX, in the amount of {$350.00} was submitted from one of my checking accounts, posted, then was reversed. The SAME DAY, I submitted another payment, in the amount of {$350.00} from a DIFFERENT checking account. The 2nd payment posted to my Hyundai account, reduced the principal balance, but the DUE DATE did not update. Hyundai has acknowledged there was a " glitch '', but failed to correct my due date. Hyundai opened a complaint, but no resolution has been made. The funds were deducted from my XXXX XXXX " XXXX checking '' account, trace ID # XXXX on XXXX. Per Hyundai 's own payment history, which they provided to me, my principal balance on XXXX was {$16000.00}, and after the XXXX payment posted, my principal balance was then {$15000.00}. Complaint: After an accident in my leased vehicle, my insurance company valued the car at an amount higher than the lease buyout amount and determined that the damage was sufficient for a total loss. XXXX XXXX has claimed that they have the right to any and all positive equity in the vehicle. After XXXX XXXX received payment from my insurance company for the amount requested by XXXX XXXX, they sent me an invoice for a portion of my insurance deductible without providing any explanation of the amount or any reasoning behind asking me to pay. Ive read the lease agreement, and I believe their interpretation is either incorrect or proves the agreement to be predatory. Further, XXXX XXXX did not inform me what was happening in their efforts to seek payment to close my account, nor did they seek my consent in determining what amounts would be dueand in doing so they have pursued an end which is against my fiduciary best interest. When I received the invoice I called XXXX XXXX customer service department to ask why I was being charged this amount, and soon discovered that my calls are automatically routed to the Recovery department, where multiple agents treated me like a delinquent customer, bullying me and telling me to read my lease agreement, talk to my insurance company, or this is our policy, I cant help you. The verbal accounting they have given for how the invoice amount was calculated does not make sense and effectively double-charges me for my deductible. After multiple calls lasting 30 mins to 1 hour and on multiple days, they have still not explained their justification for this charge. Ive tried unsuccessfully to escalate to a supervisor or to other departments within XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX. My insurance company says that the amount they paid XXXX XXXX was the exact amount requested by XXXX XXXX, and they are ready to send me payment for a nominal balance due to me ( assessed vehicle value minus deductible minus payment to XXXX XXXX ). Their story makes sense. But I don't understand why XXXX XXXX decided to ask me for an amount related to my insurance deductible, which has absolutely nothing to do with XXXX XXXX. If the lease agreement does in fact support their actions, I dont know why XXXX XXXX didnt request payment for the full assessed value ; that they requested from my insurance an amount eerily similar to what it would have cost me to pay off the lease and own the vehicle outright, is clearly suspect. Frankly, they dont seem to know what they are doing. At one point in this process I received paperwork from them requesting random information, which did not make sense ; and after calling they acknowledged that the paperwork was sent in error. Even now, when I login to the XXXX XXXX online portal to view my account history, I see all sorts of activity and random amounts debited and credited over the last 30+ days, which make no sense even in the context of the total loss or the random invoice. I've submitted multiple requests to XXXX XXXX ( verbally and in writing ) for them to provide a written explanation of the balance due on my account, including a clear and thorough accounting of all balances, payments, credits, or other activities on my account, over the past 90 days, as well as a clear and thorough explanation as to why these activities may or may not be within the rights of XXXX XXXX. They have not responded to this request, nor have the fulfilled the request. This invoice is due in about 2 weeks, and Im concerned that if I let it go unpaid ( ultimately I dont believe I owe them a cent ) their aggressive and unresponsive Recovery department could initiate action against my credit, which could prove a hardship for me to reverse, whether or not it is ultimately determined that the invoice is in error. I don't know what else to do besides seek legal advice.

Complaint: I make monthly payments to XXXX XXXX XXXX. My car was repossessed at the end of XX/XX/XXXX all fees were paid in the amount of XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX including repo fee was paid to reinstate account. I was proactive and reached out to the towing company to be advised on fees and the amount I need to pay to pick up my car. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX who repossessed my car advised me to speak with XXXX XXXX XXXX about repossession fee. I spoke with Hyundai about fee they advised me I need to speak with the towing company. I went back and forth with both companies about the fee for several days and even reached out to XXXX who scheduled the tow truck to pick up my vehicle and they advised me to speak with the towing company. After going back and forth for several day i finally spoke with someone at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX who took the initiative to speak with the middle company XXXX about my vehicle and finally advised about storage fees which was {$25.00} per day for 10 days and still knew nothing about the repossession fee. Finally the day I was picking my car up the towing company told me the repossession fee is {$370.00} which I paid at the time of pick up and have my receipt. I retrieved my XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I continued to inquire about a repossession fee after with XXXX XXXX XXXX just to stay on top of things and to prevent another repossession and I was told twice there was no repossession fee at this time. I made payments in XXXX to stay current and up to date. I made a payment of XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and another payment on XX/XX/XXXX for XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX when I made my payment I requested a payment extension for XXXX. The rep asked me why I needed an extension and what type of hardship I was going through and I provided this information to the rep who then advised me she submitted the request and that I need to wait 72 hours for the request to be approved. Prior to this I have made other extensions where I know I need to call in before next months due date in order to be approved for an extension. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX on XXXX to confirm if the payment extension request was processed the rep told me the request was processed and approved and my next payment would be XX/XX/XXXX. Based upon experience once a payment arrangement or request is made the calls to obtain a payment cease. I kept receiving calls and spoke with a rep around XX/XX/XXXX I asked him why am I continuing to receive calls if I requested a payment extension and it was approved, he advised the rep I originally spoke with did not submit the payment extension request and I asked why he said he wasn't sure and continued to attempt to collect a debt I asked to speak with a supervisor he told me one wasn't available I then became frustrated asking to speak with a supervisor and he came back on the line and stated he processed the extension again and to wait 72 hours to be approved. I called XXXX XXXX again and was advised again that the payment extension was processed. Now around XX/XX/XXXX I spoke with another rep who called me about XXXX payment I advised he I requested an extension for XXXX that was approved she advised me there was no extension on the account she states there is a balance on the account of XXXX from the repossession fee that I was told I did not have to pay I then requested a supervisor once again and went over my repossession process. The supervisor stated the balance on the account is from the repossession fee. He then stated he has to reach out to customer service to get the funds allocated to go towards the repo fee and that it would take 3 to 5 business days. I called in early XXXX to be advised if the funds were allocated for the repo fee. Another rep tells me a completely different story now stating I owe {$800.00} and that my payment from XX/XX/XXXX was reversed for late fees. I stayed on the phone for nearly 2 hours trying to get this issue resolved at this time I am now speaking to collections who placed me on excessive holds to speak with customer service about my account. The last rep I spoke with advised XXXX extension went towards a past due balance in XXXX I advised the rep per my bank I don't have any returned payments. I requested a supervisor who advised me I am unable to speak with customer service because of the balance on the account and in no way tried to resolve my issue. every supervisor I spoke to has misinformed me about the balance and information on my account and several reps have misinformed me as well. I spoke with someone today XX/XX/XXXX and went over the entire issue again he advised me the payment I made XX/XX/XXXX was reversed and applied to late fees on my account. I advised the rep funds were reversed without my consent and I am not paying for the balance from XXXX and I made an arrangement to pay XXXX payment on XX/XX/XXXX I advised I will not pay XXXX until my issue is resolved. I requested to speak to a supervisor who then advised me of new information stating I have unpaid late fees from XXXX and it was put back into the loan and My XXXX extension went towards the late fees that were put back from my repossession .It is XX/XX/XXXX and i'm finally getting clear information about the balance on my account a month and a half later while I am in between jobs. If a rep would have told me in XXXX the extension was not valid I would have made a payment now its XXXX and I am 40 days past due because XXXX XXXX XXXX employees and supervisors failed to provide the accurate information about my account. I don't think I am being treated fair and I don't think I should have to pay for XXXX at this point. I need my issue resolved immediately.

I entered in the calculator for a {$500.00} down payment. The calculator stated the car loan would be only XXXX a month for a XXXX XXXX When I went to dealership they stated cant offer that payment. I would have to do an additional XXXX down to get that payment amount.
They offered me 0 % for about XXXX a month. I told them I would put a XXXX down but their final offer was a payment of XXXX with a 5 % interest for 72 months.
