Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, at exactly XXXX pm per our receipt, I made a XXXX cash payment at the Huntington Bank XXXX branch drive through on my business credit card. Ever since the take over of XXXX XXXX we have had nothing but grief and hours and hours on hold being transferred all over just trying to make a payment!!! You can not link this card with your Huntington ap, so it 's like it 's Huntington but it 's not. One person even told me, " This is n't really a Huntington credit card, we just take the payments. '' That sure makes me feel secure as a now Huntington customer. On XXXX XXXX, I called for the balance, dialing the number on the back of the card and it would n't give me a balance just transferred me to a customer service person who then proceeded to tell me that there was NO RECORD OF A PAYMENT and it may take 3-5 business days. I said it 's been FOUR days and you ca n't find a CASH payment. We ended going back and forth with Huntington " Customer service '' all day. We were on a day vacation on the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and it ruined our whole day. We asked for a supervisor to call us at the end of the day. No one did, so we AGAIN called back to find out the status of the situation and no one knew. By the end of business day ( after calling someone to go to our house, go into our files where the receipt was filed call us back with the number which we then called Huntington with XXXX NOTHING WAS RESOLVED. We called the XXXX branch where the payment was made and that employee said she saw the transaction on her screen but could not help us at that time " I am busy with other customers '' My husband said " I am a customer do I not count? '' The answer was " No, you do n't. '' clearly. We were then told that our payment which was n't due until the XXXX would actually now be LATE but they would remove any fees. We asked for this in writing and they said that would take 2-3 business days too! On the XXXX we were told that the case would be resolved in 3-4 business days so after giving another WEEK we called on XXXX XXXX for literally the 6th time and were told I ca n't find record of the receipt number you said you provided, I ca n't find information on this case. I am going to have to open a whole new case. She said a THIRD one, so what the second was about we have no clue. This is so beyond ludicrous. Meanwhile, my husband had asked a deposit question of a branch in XXXX XXXX and that employee said " I can not talk to you about this account you are n't listed on it! '' Unbelievable. He was right with me when we opened this account. So we went into our local branch and she showed us his name on the signature card. Also, every time we give our phone numbers associated with the account we are told that nothing pulls up under those. We told our local manager that as well and she again showed us our phone numbers in the system that are the only numbers listed with our account. After yet ANOTHER call ( we have been the ones who have had to pursue this relentlessly as no one in this company has done anything to help us so far in the now 16 days after this transaction was made. We had a ruined vacation day, an have spent hours and hours on the phone with a bank that does not seem to care. When my husband said to a bank manager with Huntington, " This bank is fishy. '' She responded by saying, " I agree! '' WOW! Just wow! What else is there to say?

Complaint: I went into Huntington bank in XXXX XXXX with a promotion code that offered {$200.00} bonus when a new checking account is opened along with a {$25000.00} deposit into a money market account. XXXX XXXX is the person who keyed the promotional code checked it, opened my account and said that I will get my bonus within 90 days. She also assured me that I will be assessed a monthly maintenance fee because she is going to link all my accounts together. I went to the bank again in about a week to confirm the day I would get my bonus of {$200.00} she confirmed that I will get it in my account by the second week of XXXX XXXX. Today is XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I still did n't receive the bonus, also my account is being charged a monthly fee for XXXXwo months. I called five times over the course of three months, each time I would get only the answering machine and not a live person. I left couple of messages and no one got back to me. I finally kept calling over XXXX times on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX to get to a representative who said that she would pass my name and information to XXXX. XXXX what same story she did n't get back to me. I called again on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX talked to XXXX who assured me that she will pass on the message and said that there may be a glitch in system and the fee can be reversed and she would make sure that she would have XXXX call me about the promotion and that she would call and confirm by the end of the day that she passed on the message. Guess what, neither XXXX nor XXXX called me back to resolve the problem. Called again XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, talked to XXXX, who was very rude by saying, why did I wait three months to call about the issue?? Now she is changing the story and says that I wo n't get the bonus because I did n't deposit {$1000.00} into my checking account?? But the code that she used is a different on. Now I know she did n't even put in the code for my promotion and telling me stupid stories to cover herself up. When I was in the bank with my {$25000.00} she was trying to talk me into opening all sorts of accounts. She is so careless as to not even linking my accounts together to avoid the fee like she assured. Bottom line is very bad customer service. I will not recommend this bank to anyone else and am planning to close all of my accounts. Thanks XXXX

Complaint: After falling behind {$2800.00} on my mortgage I reached out to Huntington for help getting the account current in XX/XX/XXXX. I was told if I made three consecutive payments on time that the past due balance who would be deferred to the end of the loan and my account would be made current. I made those consecutive payments in XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. If not all at least part of the monthly payments were made via check through my account with another credit union the remaining portion was transfer out of my Huntington checking account to the mortgage account. Sometimes I paid it in cash but always at local branches. On XX/XX/XXXX Huntington Bank sent me a letter stating that I had successfully completed the deferment program and the past due balance of {$2800.00} was going to be deferred to the end of my loan as well as letting me know that my account was now current. The letter also stated that my next payment was n't going to be due till XX/XX/XXXX. Prior to receiving this letter it was brought to my attention that my payment for XX/XX/XXXX had not cleared so I resubmitted the payment via cash at a local Huntington branch. On XX/XX/XXXX i received another letter from Huntington stating that my home was now in foreclosure and my account was being referred to a lawyer. The letter also stated that if I wanted any help saving my home then to reach out to their Home Savers Department which I did. At that time I requested to start the process for saving my home as well as ask questions as to why my home was being placed in foreclosure status. At that time I was told that they can not answer any questions and that I had to contact the law firm that was given. Once contacting the firm they told me they did not have such information and after several calls between Huntington and myself and myself and the law firm I decided to ask the lawyers for a Redemption amount. On XX/XX/XXXX Huntington sent me another letter along with a check for the payment amount of my mortgage. Last week I received the Redemption letter I requested from the lawyer. To my surprise the letter stated that I was a total of 7 months behind on my mortgage. The two months that was supposed to be deferred to the end of the loan ( {$2800.00} ) along with 5 additional months ( {$7100.00} ). Totalling in {$11000.00} including fees. Once reading this I went to the local branch and spoke with the branch manager named XXXX. We went over the paperwork and she made some phone calls and told me that she would get back with me for the branch was soon to close. At that time I also asked for itemized printout of the payments made for my mortgage account. The next day she called me and told me that she was able to speak to someone and they express that I needed to get some missing documents for the homesavers program back to them. When I asked her about the print out of my account and was told that the person she spoke with said that they did n't have that for me. With that being said my question is where is the money that I have paid. My Huntington checking account does n't reflect the transferred funds but the check through cleared with the credit union. I do not understand how I can receive one letter stating that I was only behind {$2800.00} and now it 's a sum of {$7100.00}. Where did my payments go and why are they being held against me.? No one from the bank will speak to me nor give me the documents that I requested. And when I speak with the lawyers they do not have the information that I 'm seeking. It 's my fear that I will have to pay them twice for the same month and or loose my home.

Complaint: In XXXX of this year I contacted my local Huntington Bank branch ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, MI XXXX ) to inquire about a cash-out refinance mortgage for my personal home. I was then contacted by Loan Officer XXXX XXXX and on XXXX XXXX, XXXX we began the mortgage process. I was also contacted by XXXX XXXX XXXX later in the loan process who is listed as Home Lending Advocate Sr and XXXX XXXX who XXXX XXXX referred to as her manager and who she would often defer to with questions during this process. A few weeks after XXXX contacted me I decided to do a cash-out refinance on 3 other rental properties I own as well ( 4 mortgages total ). I have the following complaints : 1. The length of this loan process. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX it will be 6 months since we started these loans. I have applied for and closed on 3 other mortgages in my life and each one took about 1 months each to close. I realize that 4 mortgages take longer than one but 6 + months? As of XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I still do not have a closing date for these loans. 2. Lack of communication. There have been periods of a week or more that have gone by many times throughout this process with no communication from Huntington Bank. My last email to XXXX XXXX was on XXXX XXXX, XXXX asking about this loan and a closing date and as of XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I have had no response. 3. Lack of information. I have sent numerous emails over many months trying to get updates on the following but no answers have been provided : a. Why was an Appraisal Review ordered for the original XXXX XXXX XXXX appraisal? b. Why was the Original Appraisal for XXXX XXXX XXXX heavily scrutinized and the appraiser asked to answer several detailed questions ( XXXX XXXX XXXX w/ Addendum attached ) regarding his appraisal valuation but the Appraisal Review not scrutinized at all and that appraiser not asked a single question by Huntington Bank regarding his valuation? c. Why were the Original Appraisers explanations regarding his valuation for XXXX XXXX XXXX not accepted? d. Why was the Original Appraisal valuation rejected but the Appraisal Review valuation accepted? e. Why were the factual errors, valuation metrics errors, and other issues I brought up regarding the appraisal review for XXXX XXXX not addressed by Huntington Bank? f. Why hasnt Huntington Bank addressed the fact that one of the comparables the Appraiser Reviewer used for his valuation was in fact a single family property and not a 2-unit property? g. Why hasnt Huntington Bank addressed the fact that the Appraisal Review lists an incorrect amount of rental revenue for XXXX XXXX that is {$100.00} less than the actual amount? h. Why hasnt Huntington Bank given me any explanation as to why they decided to accept the lower appraised valuation and what, if anything, was incorrect about my appeal of the Appraisal Review? i. If Huntington Bank is being ethical in their decision to reject the original appraisal but accept the appraisal review then why did they initially refuse to provide me with a copy of the original XXXX appraisal? ( XXXX XXXX, XXXX email attached ) j. I have been trying to get information regarding titling of the properties since XXXX XXXX, XXXX ( email regarding LLCs attached ). Why cant I get a decision as to whether I can switch the properties back to the LLCs after closing or not? Why is this a question that takes nearly a month to answer? k. Why is this loan process taking so long? l. What is the projected closing date? I believe the Original Appraisal for XXXX XXXX XXXX was accurate and the appraiser gave a detailed justification for his valuation. But for some reason Huntington Bank flagged that appraisal for review and no reason was ever provided to me. XXXX XXXX said she had no idea why it was flagged. Then the Appraisal Review came back {$35000.00} lower than the original valuation. I was told I could agree to the new lower amount or I could write a letter explaining why I didnt agree with it. I wrote 2 letters explaining everything I found wrong with the Appraisal Review and why I felt the Original Appraisal was more accurate. I was told my letters were received and would be forwarded to underwriting. I was eventually told the lower valuation was what they were going with but given no explanation. I sent XXXX Manager XXXX XXXX 5 emails ( see attached ) but all emails were ignored. All I have received is an email telling me I need to sign a new mortgage document and agree to the lower appraisal and the new lower mortgage amount. I responded that I was not going to sign anything until I heard back from underwriting regarding my letter, which I never did. I then told XXXX XXXX that based on the new Appraisal Review valuation I wanted to withdraw the loan for XXXX XXXX. I dont think I am a difficult person to work with and I feel I have been very patient with this process. But is 6+ is an acceptable amount of time to wait for a closing date? And has he communication from Huntington Bank been acceptable? As soon as I received a request for a document I sent it immediately. Anything that was needed from me whether a tax return or a tenants lease I quickly and gladly provided. My family and I have been doing business with Huntington Bank for many years and have been very happy with the service we have received. I am just disillusioned at the customer service I have received with these particular loans and I think Huntington Bank has not only acted unethical but perhaps illegally regarding their handling of the appraisal process. This has been an absolute nightmare and I dont think any human being should be treated the way Huntington Bank and its representatives have treated me over the past 6 months. Thank you.

I have attached a screenshot of the tradeline that needs to be removed from my credit report because it is over 7 years old. I went XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX and this item should not be on here. I also went through a divorce and do not hold ownership in this property that this loan is attached to. This is harming me in many ways and I am trying to refinance my current home so that I may get a new roof before winter hits in full force here in Michigan. Complaint: I am the representative payee on my XXXX minor children 's accounts which are held at Huntington Bank also known as The Huntington National Bank. The three accounts are housed at the branch located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, IN XXXX. Per the Social Security office I was made the representative payee and the legal vesting on all three accounts specify that I am the representative payee for each minor child. I was incarcerated from XXXX XXXX through XXXX XXXX XXXX and called Huntington Bank 's customer service at XXXX on XXXX XXXX XXXX and spoke with XXXX to advise the bank of my situation. It was at that time that XXXX checked all three accounts and said there had been withdrawals made on all accounts. The first withdrawal took place on XXXX XXXX, XXXX inside the XXXX branch at the teller window for {$500.00} on my daughter 's account that I am the rep payee on. The next withdrawals took place on XXXX XXXX, XXXX on all of my XXXX children 's accounts inside the XXXX branch at the teller window. The combined total withdrawn on XXXX XXXX from the three accounts was {$1500.00}. I advised XXXX that I am the only person on the three accounts that would be able to make withdrawals. XXXX placed me on hold and immediately called the branch and spoke to XXXX to advise of what was being reported on the accounts. XXXX then said she would submit a complaint for a violation of bank regulations since the transactions occurred inside the branch and the teller would have had to follow proper bank procedure to identify the person doing the transaction. Holds were placed on all accounts as of XXXX to prevent any further transactions from occurring since each account had monthly direct deposits coming in from social security. I constantly kept calling and checking on the status of all accounts from jail. I spoke with the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on several occasions regarding the money that was taken out of the accounts and he kept saying " I do n't have an answer yet '' and would give me the run around. He told me when I got out of jail I would need to come into the branch and file an affidavit about the transactions that occurred. On XXXX XXXX when I was released from jail I immediately went to the branch and was advised by XXXX ( teller ) to come back that day so I could speak with XXXX ( Branch Manager ). I returned the same day and met with XXXX who then told me that I would need to file a police report and then come back to the branch. XXXX said he was booked with appointments for the rest of the day so I would need to return on another day. XXXX said he would order copies of the withdrawal slips that were being questioned and call me when they were ready. I returned to pick up the copies and all of the withdrawal slips that were used at the teller window for the unauthorized withdrawals done on XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX were all signed by my ex-wife ( she signed her own name ) who 's name is not on any of my children 's accounts. After reviewing the withdrawal slips it was clear that the bank did violate bank regulations and failed to keep my children 's account information confidential and they also failed to protect the funds in each account by not properly identifying the person withdrawing the funds at the teller window. I returned on XXXX XXXX, XXXX and gave the police report that the Branch Manager insisted I had to have in order to file an affidavit. I advised the branch manager that I was going to be moving out of state on XXXX XXXX and he said that it would be ok. I gave him a contact phone number and an updated address so that the bank could communicate with me as to what was going on. I never received a follow up call. I called the customer service at XXXX on XXXX XXXX, XXXX and XXXX and each time I was given the run around. None of the representatives would give me an answer as to what was happening. As a customer, I complied with all of the bank/branch manager 's request and the bank refuses to return the funds on all three accounts. I received three letters from Huntington dated XXXX/XXXX/XXXX stating that " it was determined that we were not provided notice of unauthorized /forged item ( s ) within 30 days after your statement was made available to you as required by Rules and Regulations ... '' My complaint is that they were notified on XXXX XXXX and this caused the bank to place a hold on all accounts until I was released on XXXX XXXX so there statement is false. Also, I never received my bank statements during the period the transactions were done because I was incarcerated. They also failed to follow proper procedure to insure the protection of confidentiality and protection of funds on a consumer bank account. I want the bank to be held responsible for the mishandling of all three accounts. The money should have never been given to someone who was not authorized to get information or do transactions on the accounts. I want the {$2000.00} that was given out negligently on my children 's accounts to be returned. My children get XXXX due to XXXX they have and this should NEVER be allowed to happen on a customer 's account. There are bank regulations in place so that this type of situation can be prevented from happening and this branch and it 's employees are not conducting business in a manner that would insure a customer 's information and money to be secure.

Complaint: I am a victim of negative inquiries. I have XXXX negative inquiries on my credit. I talked and wrote letters to each of the companies and no action was done. And customer service would not help me. I would like for the following unauthorized and unaware XXXX to be removed from my credit report please : XXXX XXXX, XXXX Account Name XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX

Complaint: I am a long time customer ( 7yrs ) of XXXX XXXX XXXX which recently became Huntington Bank. I had two safe deposit boxes. I went into the XXXX office on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Ohio XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX to make my payment to renew one of my safe deposit boxes. I was assisted by the Teller Supervisor that day. She took the payment for the amount of {$150.00}. The funds were transferred from my savings account to pay for the renewal of the box I decided to keep. I mistakenly left the key for the box I was closing. The manager told me to bring it back later. I returned to the branch approximately two weeks later with the key. I emptied the box I was closing. I also asked for entry into the box that I paid to keep. Again, The teller supvr assisted me on this day. I handed her the key because she stated that she needed to make sure everything was out of the box. I never handled the key for the closed box again. I have been receiving late notices for the box that I closed. I went to the branch to have a conversation regarding this but was treated badly by one of the Branch Relationship Banker II. She told me that she could see the withdrawal but could not see the money applied to the box. I have taken copies of the receipts ( dropped in the night deposit box ) but still they are denying that the payment was made and they are also accusing me of not returning the key. I have tried numerous times to speak with the Branch Mgr XXXX XXXX but she is not responding to my need for resolution. She leaves messages but does not indicate any resolution. My concern is that they have this bill marked as 90 days late. I miss the courteous and sincere treatment that we were given by XXXX XXXX. This is a simple problem that should have been handled w/n a few days.
