Complaint: Dear Sir ; In XXXX I took out a loan for my business. It was a capital loan. I was in the fuel business, purchasing fuel and selling to government facilities. Each purchase was between XXXX and XXXX so I needed capital to purchase the fuel and then pay my supplier, then repay the bank when I was paid by the government. My contract with the government was XXXX. My monthly sales were between XXXX and XXXX. So my loan of XXXX was within the scope of what I needed. There are very low margins in the business that I was in, so in order to operate as efficiently as possible, I signed up for money management service. They paid off the loan as quickly as possible following the deposits of money both XXXX and walk in checks. The reason that this effects me personally is because I signed personally for the loan and they took assets that they were not entitled to. Huntington Bank decided to call in the loan in XXXX, XXXX. They sent a demand letter and we started working on repaying the loan. We started making payments of XXXX and we were paying the monthly interest. Even though we were doing this they went and got a judgement against me personally and my business. The Judge signed the judgement letter and Huntington Bank started legal proceedings against me. The judgement was XXXX. They closed the business checking account in the negative even though I sent the money to pay for it. Since there was so much disparity between the two sides the judge appointed a receiver, who did nothing but make me collect the funds and then charge the company for it. It was also stated in one of the court proceedings that I only owed XXXX. I was asked to also give amounts that I had saved for my son 's college tuition. Also I did not have a full accounting of what went on because some the court documents went to a different address. They had XXXX XXXX XXXX, and XXXX E. XXXX. I tried filing bankruptcy but the attorney left, and I went through three or four attorneys trying to file bankruptcy, trying to sue, but I each time the attorney was offered a loan from Huntington Bank. I finally filed bankruptcy myself in XXXX after being abused by XXXX and after Huntington collected a small amount XXXX that was in my bank account. After the bankruptcy was XXXX there was still the lien on the house. Huntington would not remove it. I tried talking to XXXX XXXX in collection accounts at Huntington and who referred me to their attorney. He was the one that put the lien on the house. They would not remove the lien on the house. They were not longer entitled to the funds due to the bankruptcy. I attempted to renegotiate the terms of my home mortgage and XXXX XXXX would not renegotiate the terms of my loan due to the lien on my house. I missed out on funds that the state afforded me of XXXX to reduce the capital due on my home because of the lien. The XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was operating on no funds. I was desperately trying to get a job, but due to the fact that there was this huge lawsuit against me I was only able to procure temporary work. I tried filing Chapter XXXX Bankruptcy to try to save my home, but due to fact that I could not even afford the fees and credit counseling the judge dismissed the cases. I managed to scrape up enough fees to hire one attorney but I did n't have enough money to come up with her continued fees. Sure enough that attorney was offered a loan by Huntington. At that point the collection attorney demanded XXXX to remove the lien on the house and I would not pay it. I finally found a full time position, hiding behind XXXX XXXX. Huntington sold my home on the same day that I started work. Since I did not dare miss any work, I had to quit fighting Huntington and just concentrate on making money. Huntington sold the home to someone else in the neighborhood. XXXX XXXX received money from the loan guarantee to pay off the loan. This was a FHA loan. This also broke up my family, my son constantly badgered and followed by police had to move to another part of the city. We were always so nervous anyways because we did not know what else was going to happen. I also had to move my XXXX XXXX XXXX aunt out of the house because I could n't afford to take care of her anymore. When they foreclosed on the home items were stolen, which were also never recouped. I had to donate all of my furniture and belongs because I did n't have any money to store the items. I am not a slouch. I have received monthly appraisals of work done at my current employment and am constantly in the high XXXX 's in productivity. I have tried over the past two years to recoup time that was lost and money that was lost. This was a travesty that never should have happened. I am very afraid that by complaining I am going to lose my job, because XXXX is also involved with the company that I work for. The reason that this is coming up again is because, I am trying for a mortgage after saving for two years. The reason I can not get a mortgage, even though all payments have been made on time for the past two years is because of the foreclosure on my home, because I did the right thing and turned over the home to who I thought the mortgage was with which was XXXX XXXX. Huntington Bank should turn over all funds that they collected in error. I should also be reimbursed for the amount that they sold the home for since they had no right to sell the home. Please let me know if there is any information that you will need, since there are so many boxes and boxes of information that I have. I have tried sending a letter to the judge, I have tried filing a complaints against the lawyers and nothing seems to have worked. Complaint: After having an overdraft account to fund any pending overdraft charges, Huntington Bank has repeatedly charged my account such fees. I have spoken several times with a bank representative, " XXXX XXXX '' at the XXXX location. His direct number is XXXX. XXXX XXXX told me that he will speak to his bank Manager to get the funds back into my account, however, it has been three weeks. My account has been damaged due to these unauthorized charges. Any assistance to resolve this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Complaint: As of XXXX/XXXX/XXXX our small business checking account was transferred from XXXX XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX. I knew there would be an adjustment period and probable glitches so I decided to be patient and follow the XXXX employees advice wherever needed. I knew I could n't get online to my account but was told it would take some time for the transition. Fine, ok. Our seasonal business income goes up and down thus our account balance goes up and down. While it was up, there was no problem with automatic withdrawals. In other words I could manage our account just by monthly statements ; but, as time wore on it became a problem. We received a letter in the mail to contact a local branch because there was a problem that needed to be resolved with our ability to use online banking. My husband went to a local branch, they read the letter and then told him that they did not know why that letter was issued but there was no problem that they could see. So again I attempted the online banking but was refused. In XXXX there were two overdrafts ( {$35.00} each ) AND 2 extended overdraft fees of {$25.00} each. This was a larger quarterly withdrawal in addition to the monthly withdrawals. I learned this through my statement which I received in XXXX XXXX. We hurried to remedy this by depositing money. I once again tried to get online banking but again was unable to accomplish this. We went to the XXXX branch to remedy this problem. XXXX was most helpful. She found a major glitch where we had to go through the government to get the signature card reauthorized by XXXX standards. This process took a long time ( about 3 weeks or so ). XXXX then entered the necessary information and eventually we were easily able to get access to online banking. The problem I am disturbed about is the lack of XXXX BANK 'S taking responsibility as a business for all of the fees. But for the fact that I could not get online directly related to this " transition '' to their bank these automatic withdrawals would have been seen by me online and the low balance would have been taken care of. I NEVER had this issue with XXXX XXXX, NEVER. Our small business has been tormented by this bank NOT by the branch manager who has work very hard for us but by XXXX and their greedy standards. I tried to find a way to email XXXX but their were only phone numbers of departments who could not help me reverse all of these charges! Someone at XXXX decided to transition our account to the wrong kind that requires a {$5000.00} minimum balance. Never had that type of account at XXXX XXXX. I feel they have been deceitful with the transition of my account to XXXX XXXX. The branch manager was able to credit our account for {$60.00}. We paid {$80.00} total for the " new '' type of bank account management fees. Why are we paying these fees if the transition was supposed to be smooth and no change in our type of account was supposed to occur? No employee at XXXX has thus far been able to reverse these charges. It feel like they read from a script. Can you help me?

Complaint: Went into branch and asked for payoff on X/XX/17 received payoff of XXXX. Paid off account at that time in person at branch. Branch had me sign a piece of paper with intention to close and payoff and sign- they faxed them to corporate headquarters. Checked status of account a week later and a balance was still showing. Called customer service and they basically said that 's the balance. They stated we never received letter of intent to close. I went into branch again and business banker stated the remaining balance was the banks fault and said he would waive it and ensure account was closed and paid off. Still nothing. Have called customer service 4 more times they say it 's not closed nothing they will do. Been back in branch and they say oh a few more days. Nothing. I want this account closed - I paid it off, I sent letter -- they are keeping it open. Giving me run around. Not good customer service. Bad policy. I have done everything correctly- got payoff, paid amount, sent letter .... they are giving me the run around, not helping.

Complaint: on XXXX XXXX XXXX I refinanced my home equity line with XXXX XXXX, They sent out a check and on XXXX XXXX Huntington deposited it. I had an account at Huntington that I had money saved and did n't touch so I was unaware that monthly Huntington was now taking a minimum monthly payment from that account, I went into the local branch to closet that account to find it was drained and found out why. The local branch was no help and the XXXX was no help. They essentially deposited that check and stole that money, they said since there was not an account number on the check they would not have known what to do with the check. XXXX XXXX sent a payoff letter with the check that had the account number and all my information that Huntington conveniently misplaced. I need this taken care ASAP because I 'm refinance my home with XXXX XXXX and that line is still showing open so I now technically have XXXX liens on my home and Huntington 's should have been closed & released over 2 years ago.

Complaint: My name is XXXX XXXX. I am a small business owner and my account for that business was housed with the financial institution known as, Huntington National XXXX. InXX/XX/XXXX an employee of the business I ran had access to multiple checks and account information. She used these checks, and corresponding account information to steal from the business and myself. {$2700.00} was the amount taken in a 40 day timeframe. I inquired and informed my local Huntington Branch the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on XXXX XXXX in XXXX, Ohio. Now when this conversation happened, two things should have happened in tandem with one another immediately. 1. Stop payments on the checks I informed the branch that I was missing 2. Account Closure. Neither of these required responses occurred. Instead the account continued to overdraft, expand upon the fees being allocated to my account, and eventually reported my overdrawn account to check systems as a " closed with a negative balance '' account. I filed a police report, I have a signed document that possess a notary stamp verifying that I swore to the fact and indemnify myself of these charges, I also attested this information to the Huntington Fraud Department. I have done everything they have requested, and instead of supporting me, a small business owner who had fraud occur on his account, through no fault or inaction of his own, they decide to tell me multiple times. They are busy. This gross negligence is unacceptable. I would simply like the fees removed, my case resolved, and the check systems report to disappear. In essence, I want Huntington to do their job.
