Complaint: I called in XX/XX/2016 to make the final mortgage payment on my account with Huntington National Bank. They told me the payment amount due which I paid in full. Several months later ( XX/XX/2016 I believe ) I received information stating I owed a balance, at this time it was placed with their debt recovery department and was in a charge off status. I went ahead and paid the amount in full hoping that would satisfy my obligations. I received another call stating I still yet had a small balance and again paid that in full.
Now I'm looking at my credit report for the first time since and see they are showing a balance on my account and have reported it as charged off. I filed a dispute, Huntington corrected the amount it said I owed to XXXX but refused to change the charge off status to paid as agreed. The only reason it went to charge off was because I was not given the correct amount not once, but on two separate occasions.

Complaint: Friday morning on the XX/XX/XXXX I returned home early from work to call the manager XXXX XXXX to see if I could come and get my title so I could get my tags at the secretary of state that day. she tells me they didn't receive a title. I then call XXXX XXXX were the truck was purchase from to huntington bank. A lady name XXXX XXXX at XXXX said they sent the title and other documents on XX/XX/2018 and that someone at huntington bank name XXXX XXXX signed for it on the XX/XX/XXXX and that she would seen me a copy were he signed for it. I got the information and call XXXX back no answer no return call Friday so I went up there to Huntington bank Saturday morning she wasn't their, I talk with another branch employee name XXXX he new about the title situation and said he would look for it wild I was there and said he would call XXXX XXXX and leave a message for him to contact him or contact me concerning the title. I left the bank and call the main office of Huntington to see if they could help me get my title, they tells me that he's on vacation and that they would contact him by phone and email for him to contact me or the bank about the title, I never heard from him from beginning to the end of this situation, and time was running out. I was told to go to the social security office and they would directed me to apply for a lost title on XX/XX/2018, in the mean time I was back and forth at the bank I talk with XXXX at the bank on Tuesday XX/XX/18 I ask about where was XXXX she says he didn't come to work Monday and if the title came they can not leave documents laying around they would have to shred it they can't keep documents in that office.I received my lost title on the XX/XX/XXXX, by mail and XXXX for next day for XXXX to XXXX to start the process all over again. I receive my title back on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX..

Complaint: This is in regards to my dispute with Huntington Bank over transactions that are connected to a fraudulent brokerage scheme. This broker claims to be regulated by the CFTC and the SEC. Ive contacted both of these regulatory agencies and they told me that not only are they NOT REGULATED, but its illegal for them to even do business in the United States and that Ive been the victim of a scam. That makes any transaction with them fraudulent. I made deposits via my Huntington Mastercard to a brokerage firm called CloseOption either directly or through XXXX. These deposit transactions have either the description XXXX *XXXX or XXXX. Now, when you withdraw funds from this broker, they issue the withdrawal in the form of a refund directly back to your debit card or through XXXX to your debit card. Or so they say. Ive made deposits totaling {$16000.00} via my Huntington MasterCard. Ive only received {$2700.00} in withdrawals from these jokers. Im missing {$14000.00} in withdrawals/refunds. Thats not including any of my profits which I know Ill never see because this company is fraudulent. But I should at least be able to get my {$14000.00} back through Huntington. When I filed the dispute with Huntington, they closed my claim and only addressed the {$2700.00} in refunds that I received. They didnt address any of the other transactions. Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX I inquired about the process of becoming a home owner with Huntington Bank. I was provided with information to reach out to the Mortgage Loan Officer at Huntington Bank. My initial contact person was XXXX XXXX XXXX. I had a few questions he couldn't answer so, he referred me to XXXX XXXX. She did a credit check and told me that I had a bankruptcy that was showing up on my credit report from XX/XX/XXXX, so the computer would not allow a pre-approval letter to be generated for a Conventional loan and my student loans would not allow me to go FHA at this time. She told me to work on my credit while I waited for the bankruptcy to come off and we would revisit a pre-approval at the end of XXXX or the beginning of XXXX.
On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX reached out to me and emailed me a pre-approval letter for a FHA loan. At that point I started looking for houses because the letter stated I had until XX/XX/XXXX to find a house. When I spoke to her a few days later she told me that she had made a mistake because she forgot I had student loans. We did a three-way-call with XXXX, XXXX and I. XXXX and XXXX suggested that I wait until XX/XX/XXXX and they would run all of my information back through the computer and it show generated a pre-approval letter at that time.
On XX/XX/XXXX I received another pre-approval letter for a FHA loan with a deadline of XX/XX/XXXX. My realtor and I went out looking out houses again. I found a house at XXXX XXXX XXXX We began the process of purchasing the home with a estimated close date by XX/XX/XXXX. I did my first loan application on XX/XX/XXXX. I gave my apartment complex a notice to vacate on XX/XX/XXXX. I paid for a home inspection on XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$320.00}. I got a quote for home insurance on XX/XX/XXXX. Then I was told that I would need a co-borrower. XXXX spoke to my Father about being a co-borrower. My Father declined because he is close to retiring from his employment. There was talk about my Father placing the house in his name and then eventually doing a FHA Streamline Refinance. The problem with that was my Father 's name was not on the original agreement. Next he ran my Mother 's credit and her score was too low. Last, he ran my sister 's credit and added her to the loan. When my sister was added to the loan, I was generated a denial letter on XX/XX/XXXX. In that letter my credit was checked again for the second time on XX/XX/XXXX. Then my sister and I were told that she had a student loan in the amount of {$2000.00} that was in default on her credit report. We were advised to have her reach out to the agency and arrange payments. Once payments were arranged, they would send her a letter and we could proceed. My sister did as we were advised. We sent the letter of payment arrangements to XXXX and he then told us that we needed a letter stating the loan was removed from default. My sister contacted the credit agency and they informed her that they would not remove the loan from default until she made at least 3 payments on time. She then inquired how soon she would get a letter if she paid it in full. The told her it would still take 3 months. At this point we were days away from closing. I reached out to XXXX to advise him of what we had been told by the agency. He stated that we would need to close the loan process because it would be denied and there was nothing else we could do. The loan was supposed to be closed on XX/XX/XXXX. Almost 2 weeks had gone by and I never received a denial letter so I reached out to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. He told me that the file was in the denial process already and it should be out soon. I was confused because I was under the impression that the loan had already been denied.
All of this left me in a bad position and I could have been homeless. I had already given my apartment complex a notice to vacate, so they could have made me move and I had a child younger than one at the time. My apartment complex was going to raise my rent, but since I had been here so long that extended my lease. I also, missed out of the chance to rent the house I was trying to purchase because the seller had the option to rent and I could have revisited the option to buy within a year. The seller ended up placing the house back on the market to sell. This could have also resulted in me paying for movers twice. Once to move somewhere else then again to move once I was in the position to buy.
This whole process started in XX/XX/XXXX and ended in at the end on XX/XX/XXXX. After seven months, two pre-approval letters, three dings on my credit and three potential co-borrows, I am still no closer to owning my own home. Also, upon reaching out to another Mortgage Officer I was advised that I would have never been approved for a FHA due to the fact that I have student loans and that loan goes by 1 % of that debt. This would always cause be to be over my debt to income ratio. I feel as if my realtor and I wasted a lot of unnecessary time and effort, looking at houses, gathering information and phone calls.

Complaint: I was unable to reconcile the correct number of days that I was being charged interest using my transaction history. A date column appears in the transaction history for my account and one might reasonably assume that interest is calculated from that date. I have learned however ( after speaking with a bank representative ) that interest is in fact calculated from an earlier date than the date listed on the transaction history. I have made two advances on the credit line to date. The earliest date listed shows my PCL check advance for {$10000.00} to be XX/XX/2018 but interest is actually being charged from XX/XX/2018 according to a bank employee. The next advance date listed in my transaction history shows an additional PCL check advance for {$20000.00} to be XX/XX/2018 but interest is actually being charged from XX/XX/2018 according to a bank employee. I believe a consumer is entitled to see dates listed for credit line advances that correctly correspond with the date from which interest is being charged. Accordingly I can not determine if my interest charges are correctly calculated when the bank uses a date unknown to me that does not appear anywhere in my transaction history. A a consumer I believe we are entitled see the beginning date from which interest is being charged.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I open checking account at Huntington Bank located at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, Michigan XXXX. Bank representative opening account was XXXX XXXX XXXX. Deposit was only XXXX dollars with intent established I would add more as it became available dependent on my assets being released to me by Michigan Treasury Unclaimed Property ( MDTUP ). On XX/XX/XXXX Huntington Bank representative XXXX XXXX without giving notice or my approval ordered checks for me plus charged my account {$24.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX due to shortage of funds my account was charged overdraft fee of {$25.00} being it possessed only {$10.00} at time unauthorized check debt was charged. As of XX/XX/XXXX additional overdraft fee was charged due to funds for initial overdraft fee was not available.
At time all these transactions were made it was unknowing to owner of account unto XX/XX/XXXX. On that date owner of account after XX/XX/XXXX visit to bank where account owner shared information of his information concerning possessing assets at MDTUP was incorrect plus property of municipal bonds were not called ( matured ) plus were still being held by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX unto XX/XX/XXXX. Thereof account owner desired to obtained secured loan with insured municipal bonds as collateral. Huntington Bank representative acknowledged that bank only did secured loans on basis of cash bank held of applicant. At such time none of account charges were bought to my attention. With bank having refused six digit secured loan on XX/XX/XXXX sought to close account but could not do so with Ms. XXXX in error having created overdraft for account holder. Account number XXXX, XXXX XXXX. XXXX.
Ms. XXXX XXXX at best abused her authority to order checks I did not desire plus charged those checks to my account. At worst Ms. XXXX XXXX knowingly plus intentionally committed fraud that to this date equal to excess XXXX XXXX dollars charged to me in overdraft fees plus is still growing likely to become felony offense. bank representatives I talked to did not possess authority to correct this condition plus left me to discern that my only recourse for due action is complaint.
I believe we should remedy this matter without further delay or court action by having Huntington Bank erase debt plus return my XXXX dollars to account plus make it available to me. If bank so desire I possess plus will return in entirety unauthorized checks it forwarded to me.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I went to Huntington Bank Branch to Deposit {$200.00} cash and cash a check for {$9.00} or {$9.00}, The teller was ok with depositing my cash that was much greater than the check but ask for ID to cash the very small check because I was XXXX XXXX. He never ask the XXXX person for ID. I did file discrimination with Ohio Civil Rights. They are looking into that matter. However, my concern is that HUNTINGTON BANK went into my bank account without my authorization or being present for their selfish reason to see if I took that check and cash to another branch. They called that branch and inquired with all there about me and only one employee actually knew me and my name. They denied me service because I was treated different.

Complaint: I was alarmed once I reviewed my XXXX, XXXX and XXXX credit reports and found that I was reported as having a late payment on the date below : 30 days past due as of XX/XX/2016, XX/XX/2016 I already disputed this with the credit bureaus and they verified it as being accurate. I am not sure how this occurred, I believe that I had made my payments to you on time when I received my statements. My only thought is that my monthly statement did not get to me or maybe an error occurred where it wasn't recorded on time.

Complaint: a bank cashed a check with my name on it and the banks name. The bank is in another state so I mailed the check to them to endorse it. check was sent to me from auto insurance company for theft of my cars wheels tires.. the bank cashed the check and did not send it back to me .. I wrote a letter that I need the bank to endorse the check to pay for the wheels tires.. is it legal for a bank to cash this check with out my endorsing?
the bank took my payment for loss, and put it on the loan balance now I do not have that payment to buy my wheels.

Complaint: I purchased a phone from XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2018 for {$730.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX the phone quit working and was blacklisted as it was reported lost or stolen. The phone i bought was brand new and I'm supposed to be the only owner and I didn't report it lost or stolen. XXXX XXXX XXXX wouldn't do anything to help me. Complaint: My loan is NOT paid off. Huntington Bank is holding my title. I moved to Oregon, and contacted them on XX/XX/2018 and spoke to XXXX.. asked, per Oregon DMV , to have the title sent to them at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, OR XXXX so I can tag and title my vehicle within 30 days, as required by law and my insurance company. I was also asked for my new mailing address, which i gave. I was told it normally takes 2-3, but I rush would be requested and it should arrive within 10 business days. On XX/XX/XXXX, received a call from XXXX, supervisor, stating they were unable to send my title to DMV, because they didn't have my updated address. It was given again, was told tithe would be mailed on XX/XX/XXXX. By XX/XX/XXXX, title was still not received. I've called 4 times since, with broken promises of callbacks, and nothing. Told the title department isn't responding to emails. I've asked for email address, told was for internal use only. No direct line to call. Now, I'm 31 days. ... over a dozen calls, hours on hold and no title to be able to legally tag or insure my car. I've never been late on a payment. Feeling helpless ... worse customer service ever!

Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX - My friend XXXX ( from XXXX ) received a check in Utah from company Team Unlimited as a prize for an international tour events, he endorsed me as I live in XXXX.
XX/XX/XXXX - I did an on line deposit through mobile bank app.
XX/XX/XXXX - In the morning the money was approved to my account.
XX/XX/XXXX- Money was withdrawal from my account by Huntington Bank XX/XX/XXXX- My bank account was frozen ( card/internet/payments ) - I contacted the bank and I was informed the reason for frozen ( deposit that need to be investigated ) and the due date : XX/XX/XXXX - they also informed only the value of check was going to be frozen, all other functions was going to be unfrozen.
XX/XX/XXXX - Received a mail from bank informing the deposit I did was unavailable for withdrawal and that would be available only on XX/XX/2018 - letter enclosed.
XX/XX/XXXX - Payments I had scheduled on debit on my account or debit card was being approved and on next days rejected by bank - what created a lot of problems - I called the bank and also went to branch and was informed that all the account was put on hold and maximum I could do was withdrawal money I had in account before the deposit through my ID.
- After that I had several problems, payments appeared to be done by Huntington, later I received message saying payment was not done even the payment from the company that I work for the put on hold for 3 day and just after complain at branch and through phone they released.
- During a period I called to customer service and talked to people on branch trying to find a way to solve this issue, no one give me an answer said that I need to wait and that they don't have a date to conclude. Also informed that I was being investigated for fraud, I always informed I want to cooperate with this giving the contact of the person that wrote the check from Team Unlimited and if needed I could give the contact from the Bank even that both contacts are printed on check.
- I also contacted the Controller from Team Unlimited XXXX XXXX, explained him the situation and he informed the check was cashed from his account and he or his bank never received a contact from Huntington Bank to confirm if check is real or not e-mail enclosed.
XX/XX/XXXX I gave to XXXX XXXX / Relationship Banker from Huntington that I have being talked and who is supporting with withdrawals a letter from RJ endorsing the check again ( since he is back to XXXX ) and a copy of his passport to be included on the system.
XX/XX/XXXX Team Unlimiteds controller sent an e-mail to XXXX XXXX endorsing the check again including the background of check and contact from Vice President from The XXXX bank ( name / telephone ) than the bank could verify.
XX/XX/XXXXCalled again to the bank and they informed my account still on hold and check still unavailable without a date.
It is really sad that a Bank does not care for your customer and even with all my efforts to help to solve it is worthless, the VP from XXXX XXXX Bank is willing to call Huntignton Bank in order to support me but no one from Bank give me a contact or name to solve this, just say to call service contact today they hang up the call when I was calling.
I just want to solve this, if they send the money back for the Team Unlimited I am totally OK with that, since they will transfer the money for me.
