Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, an employee of Huntington National Bank in XXXX, Ohio obtained unauthorized access to my credit report from XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. I learned of the unauthorized access on or about XX/XX/XXXX. Although I am an account holder at Huntington Bank, I never applied for any type of credit or loan from Huntington and I never authorized the release of my credit reports to Huntington or anyone associated with that bank. On XX/XX/XXXX I spoke to " XXXX '' and XXXX XXXX at Huntington Bank ( XXXX ) and was told by XXXX that the credit inquiry would be removed by the bank. XXXX told me that she had " sent a request '' to the credit bureaus to have the inquiry removed. On XX/XX/XXXX I spoke with XXXX XXXX, reportedly XXXX 's supervisor, at ( XXXX ) XXXX. He also told me that he would have the inquiry removed from my credit report. On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX changed his story and told me that I would need to sign a statement and include my approval for the inquiry to be removed. XXXX claimed this was the procedure required by each of the credit bureaus. I asked XXXX to provide proof from the credit bureaus of such a requirement. He has not done so. I have never believed XXXX 's claim about the credit bureaus ' alleged requirement. On XX/XX/XXXX I spoke with XXXX XXXX at the bank ( XXXX ). She is said to be the manager of the bank 's " customer advocacy ''. She claimed she did " not understand '' why I would not sign the statement I did not think was required. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a telephone call from XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ). He claimed he was another member of the bank 's customer advocacy " team ''. He stated that his primary goal was to " deal with removing the credit inquiry ''. All indications are that he has not even tried to do so. He has certainly not put anything in writing as I asked him to. Each of the above mentioned persons ( some more than others ) has a tendency to interrupt, be argumentative and make excuses. One thing they have not done is correct their unauthorized inquiry into my credit report. On XX/XX/XXXX I spoke to representatives of XXXX, XXXX and XXXX concerning this matter. To a person, they each unequivocally stated that their credit bureau requires the bank to remove the inquiry and that they do NOT require ME to do anything. Each credit bureau representative also confirmed that the bank has done nothing in that regard. The people I spoke with are XXXX, a supervisor at XXXX, I.D . XXXX at ( XXXX ) XXXX ; XXXX, a supervisor at XXXX, at ( XXXX ) XXXX ; and XXXX at XXXX at ( XXXX ) XXXX. XXXX offered to contact the bank on my behalf. The bank 's response, or lack thereof, to that contact should be interesting to note.

Complaint: I have a Huntington checking account ending in XXXX. The account is tied to my credit card that is also with Huntington.
If my checking account has a negative balance, there is a " cash advance '' that takes place making my account go positive. My credit card has and had availability of {$180.00}. That could have easily paid for a {$16.00} payment and {$19.00} payment. However, they did not let this feature take the course for no apparent reason and I lost {$75.00} in two NSF fees.

Complaint: XXXX XXXX is Charging me {$620.00} a month for Escrow.
My annual property taxes is {$3400.00} My annual homeowners insurance is {$820.00} That should make my escrow about {$350.00} a month.
they are overcharging me {$260.00} a month and I can not get them to reduce it.
I do have a year end statement and I also have a report from my insurance company. I have called before and ask your team what to do and I have can not get Huntington to stop taking so much.

Complaint: Around XX/XX/2018 I began discussions with XXXX XXXX, Branch Manager at Huntington Bank regarding opening a Business account to service my clients in Michigan. I reached out to the XXXX XXXX Branch of Huntington bank and began discussing the type of business I own and operate along with any and all requirements we would need in order to make sure the bank was willing to accept us as a client. I answered and provided all information requested by the branch manager, treasury manager, XXXX XXXX, and community manager, XXXX XXXX who assured me that there would be no problem opening my business account provided I set up a vault service. I was advised, given pricing, and contact information regarding " Huntington Vault Service Pricing and info '' which is an armored currier service I was told by Huntington would have to be set up in order for us to have a banking relationship. At the sole direction of Huntington Bank and for NO other reason, I reached out to their contacts, signed an agreement, and set up a Vault service for my account, which costs right around {$150.00} per month. I then flew to Michigan, in order to open my bank account and begin the relationship with Huntington. Longe story short, for NO reason, Huntington decided they did not want to honor anything I was told by their representatives, they would not allow me to use the Armored currier, they also would not allow me to withdrawal the funds I needed in order to operate my business. I lost and wasted time and money being lied to by a financial institution. I had to partner with a different bank in order to continue operating my business while Huntington took ZERO responsibility for the damage they caused. They are also requesting that I continue to pay the {$150.00} per month fee I'm being charge by an armored currier service and WILL NOT compensate me or pay the fee that was initiated at there demand for banking services. I feel they owe me at least that for the time, energy, and money I have wasted and been set back due to their negligence. Another example of big banks taking advantage of small business owners and consumers alike.

Complaint: We have 2 parcels of property located in XXXX county, ohio. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, ohio XXXX ( XXXX ) and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Oh XXXX ( XXXX ) they are beside eachother.
Our physical house is located on XXXX but our address is XXXX. The bank knew the builder put it on the wrong parcel and corrected our taxes back in XX/XX/XXXX. Our original lender was XXXX XXXX XXXX. We paid our taxes accordingly.
Then the auditors office sent us a tax bill saying we were deliquent concerning our taxes, which we were not! They assessed us for over {$10000.00} in back taxes, and instead of contacting us concerning this matter, Huntington Bank ( whom aquired XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX) went ahead without contacting us via mail or by phone, and gave them the money and then jacked up our payment to XXXX per month! On a trailer!
We have proof of our payments tax wise and we were angry at Huntington, especially after we froze our escrow acct. in XX/XX/XXXX, that they would not hear that we were current on our taxes and we didn't owe this to the county.
Repeatedly, we have tried to contact them ( Huntington Bank ) and they've given us nothing but a run-around by switching us back and forth between different departments. We are now in a hurt locker because we own a small business and our customers are slow paying.
Huntington had no right doing what they did due to the auditors office mistake and we want our money back and are willing to go to court over it but are financially strapped due to their negligence!

Complaint: This is the second complaint regarding this bank ( Huntington Bank ). My first complaint was resolved after approx. 2 weeks of fumbled research and was well documented that Huntington made an error ( issuing cashiers checks from a line of credit that I didn't authorize ).
Now, I just received an alert that I set up regarding a transaction that exceeded a predetermined threshold. Upon investigating the transaction I discovered the account no longer exists and I am not sure where the withdrawal of {$550.00} went.
I spoke with 3 people at the Bank and none of which can tell me what happened and why the account was closed. I was sent to a phone number XXXX that is simply voicemail.
I have no idea if this was fraudulent or if there was another issue. However, I find it very unsettling that financial institution does not have anyone on hand to explain to the consumer what happened.
This closely mirrors the previous complaint in which I was told there is no one in the Bank to address my concern because it was around XXXX ( not on XXXX ) and there was no one of authority around to remove the hold on my account despite the facts pointing to Huntington as the cause of the error.

Complaint: On XXXX at approximately XXXX est while attempting to deposit a cash deposit using my atm debit card issued by Huntington Bank the kiosk experienced a system error and proceeded to shut down for no apparent reason. After contacting my bank located in XXXX, MI. XXXX immediately during this transaction a representative ( XXXX ) told me that the bank does not handle atm deposits they could not help and directed me to contact the phone number on the machine. After the machine shut down not returning my cash or my atm card and not issuing me a receipt I pulled away from the kiosk and contacted the number for customer service. The initial representation I spoke with was not able to answer my questions and concerns so I asked to speak to a supervisor and was transferred to ( XXXX XXXX ) who after speaking with for 15 mins began to open a case # ( XXXX ) in regards the error. I was informed that this sorta thing can happen and was likely due to a system update and the investigation process to return my funds and card can take up to 45 days. That is NOT acceptable! I stated to XXXX XXXX that I was not in a position financially to wait that long for them to due an investigation as I have obligations allocated for those funds. He ( XXXX XXXX ) also told me by filing a complaint with this agency, would lengthen the process and that they would not be held accountable for any fees or charges that I would incur because of the error in the machine. Again NOT acceptable! I am seeking the attention of this matter to be escalated to locate my deposit, my card and monetary damages associated with the company 's errors. I was not given the company 's name who handles the Atm kiosks by ( XXXX XXXX ) as he refused to provide me with that information repeatedly claiming it would be a security breach. ( XXXX XXXX ) also provided a false corporate phone number for Huntington bank and expressed to me that by bringing this matter to your attention and/or to the attention of the public via social media I would be risking the possibility of a possible unsuccessful return of the investigation. Given me an ultimatum to not voice my opinion is a violation of my rights NOT acceptable. So many things are wrong here I dont even know how this could ever happen to anyone and take so long to rectify, I'm absolutely horrified at how this bank operates and will be closing my account as soon as this matter is adjourned with compensation in my favor for having to undergo this whole process.
