She took {$3600.00} from my account and my bank is expecting me to pay back. i filed a police report and everything, i even talked to the bank but they are refusing to help me out.

Complaint: I opened an asterisk-free checking online and electronically deposited funds into the account. On XX/XX/XXXX I removed all funds in the account leaving a XXXX balance. I called on XX/XX/XXXX to close the account. I was told the withdrawal of the funds had not fully cycled and that I would have to call back to close the account. I contacted the company on XX/XX/XXXX to close the account. The associate told me that it is " bank policy '' that based on my location that I had to come into the office to close the account. I informed the associate that given my circumstances it is less than convenient to do so and that I didn't understand how a fully virtual account opening, electronic deposit, and then electronic withdrawal would then require a physical presence to close a {$0.00} balance account after I had been fully authenticated on the call and instructed them to do so. He said simply that it was their policy. It seems unethical to require an inconvenience for customers who choose to stop doing business with them to have to physically show up at branch when all the preceding actions had all been virtual. Is it their policy to cause this inconvenience?

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I went into the Huntington Bank branch office in XXXX, MI to enroll in automatic payments for my personal line of credit. I was unable to do this task online. I signed the form on XX/XX/XXXX and it states that the start date of the withdrawals would start on XX/XX/XXXX. I called the bank today ( XX/XX/XXXX ) to determine why the payment had not come out and they said it would only be available to be withdrawn on the due date. I asked if interest would be charged daily since XX/XX/XXXX and they said yes. I expressed my concern that I should not have to pay the daily interest if I want the withdrawals to take place on the XXXX of the month. They said this was the bank practice and there was nothing I could do about. I don't think that is acceptable. I should not have to pay more interest than the form I signed indicated payments will come out on XX/XX/XXXX. Account Number XXXX

Complaint: On XX/XX/19, my mortgage payment for {$1800.00} was presented through ACH and overdrew my account {$40.00}. I immediately transferred from another bank {$100.00} on the same day. In addition, my payroll {$1900.00} plus a social security deposit of {$670.00} at midnight the same day. My mortgage payment was returned without payment and i was charged {$37.00} overdraft. I came to Huntington Bank over 10 years ago because of their " 24 hour Grace '' policy. I have used it through the years at various times. In the past two years, i have had issues as they did not allow 24 hour grace! Their advertisement is misleading. Per their advertisement, you are supposed to have until Midnight the following business day to cover the overdraft. My subsequent deposits MORE than covered the overdrafts!

Complaint: I'm having a problem with Huntington Bank I called in and updated my address for my new car to be shipped and this is my second time updating my address they never sent my card to the first address that I have one file which is my mailing address so by me not getting the card I called in again and gave him my current address or I just moved that they shipped my card and when I try to activate my card they told me there was a hold placed on my account so I called in and spoke to a supervisor the supervisor told me he see the problem with my account and the problem came from an employee at Huntington Bank where there was a hold placed on my account by one of Huntington Bank employees not putting the notes in the computer they are asking me to fly back to Kentucky just to walk in the branch to show me a photo of my ID to get my account back and I just spoke to them letting them know that I just had a XXXX child and that I can't make it back to Kentucky at the moment so everyone I'm speaking to his being very disrespectful the calls are recorded and I don't feel like I should be going through this XXXX because of a error made by the bank

Complaint: I have 3 accounts that have been fully paid off and i keep getting the run around. they jeep telling me it reports on the next billing cycle. they have been paid off for over a month now in full. i have contacted the companys several times and there have been no positive reporting witch is pulling down my credit. none of my reports are matching up XXXX never matches XXXX XXXX, so my scores are less when i should be over 6 on both my reports. its exstreamly fustrating especially when things are paid on time.

Complaint: I was contacted on Monday, XX/XX/XXXX by XXXX at Huntington Bank ( XXXX ) in regards to an account for XXXX XXXX. The account was short-paid last month and they have been trying to get in touch with the primary account holder, XXXX XXXX, but had been unsuccessful and needed to speak with me.
I returned their call on Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX and informed them that XXXX XXXX is my ex-husband 's business. We divorced in XX/XX/XXXX and I no longer have any interest in the business. I asked them to remove me from the account.
I was informed that I was a guarantor on the loan and they could not remove me. Again, I repeated that I have nothing to do with the business and am not on any loans. I was told that I was on a loan back in XXXX and they rolled that into new loans in XXXX and again in XXXX. As a result, I am still listed as a guarantor.
The XXXX loan was repaid, in full and on time, by XX/XX/XXXX. My divorce was approved by the court and I ceased to have any interest in my ex-husband 's company in XX/XX/XXXX.
My ex-husband requested the business funds in XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. I was not notified of any loans where I am listed as a guarantor and would not have approved this. I was never contacted by a loan officer to confirm that I wanted to be listed as a guarantor.
Now, Huntington is telling me that I need to seek legal help to get off the loan or have my ex-husband refinance it without my name to remove myself as a guarantor on a loan I never even knew about. I have been requesting copies of the XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX loans that show me as a guarantor and Huntington is not responding. I have contacted XXXX both via e-mail and phone. I have a copy of the original loan, which was provided by Huntington.

Complaint: To the Team Members who handle complaints ; I live in XXXX IN. My complaint is with Huntington Bank.
Issues that I have : 1. Funds deposited to my checking account with Huntington Bank from a check which cleared over a week ago ; are still withheld without any portion of the funds being released.
2. I was given multiple/conflicting time frames for which the funds from the check would be released. The policy for holding deposited checks appear to be arbitrary.
3. Huntington has had several issues with XXXX American customers over the past several months. My check coming from a XXXX Organization appears to follow some of the same unfair and difficult to follow rules that the bank has exhibited in the past few months.
I have had an account with this back since XXXX of XXXX. I have not had a XXXX balance on my checking or savings accounts. I have not had any NSF/Returned checks/ or fees to these accounts.
On Tuesday XX/XX/XXXX, I deposited a check for XXXX. These check was from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, from a XXXX XXXX XXXX checking account. I contacted Huntingtons call center on Wed because the funds were not available, to see when the funds would be available, I was told the funds would be available 48 hrs. from date of deposit.
On Friday XX/XX/XXXX, the funds were not showing in my account. I called the call center again. This time I was told the funds would be held for 7 days from deposit. I asked to speak with a supervisor.
The supervisor that I spoke with was XXXX from Michigan. She was extremely rude and uncaring about my situation. She told me that the bank could hold my check for up to 1 YEAR if they wanted.
I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX, to see when they would send the funds to Huntington Bank. To my surprise the check had cleared XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I decided to go to the branch where I had opened my account with Huntington to see if a manager there would be of assistance. I also brought with me the document showing that check # XXXX, for {$2700.00} had cleared, which was the check that was written to me.
I was told by the manager there that the check would be held for 10 business days from deposit and NONE of the funds would be made available before that time. The holding time for a deposited check appears arbitrary.
As of Today XX/XX/XXXX Huntington Bank has not released any of my funds.
Customer Service/Customer Caring surrounding my issue was/is non-existent.
