Complaint: When purchasing a car from XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2019, I told the finance guy helping me that I only wanted my credit ran through one lender. I was aware that I might get a better rate from somewhere else, but I only wanted it ran once and through the lender I communicated. I never signed any paperwork about running my credit through multiple lenders. XXXX XXXX XXXX ran my credit 4 times when they were not authorized to. I only authorized them to run it once and they did not have my permission to run it multiple times.

Complaint: I have now had two overdraft fees with Huntington Bank and when I have tried to contact them regarding the timing and problem I have received an automated system message that there is a system error and that there is no assistance at the time and the machine hangs up on me. The first overdraft happened on XX/XX/2019, on XX/XX/2019 after my flight landed {$100.00} was transferred from my XXXX XXXX Primary Account in order to ensure the amount was positive within 24 hours. I received an email on XX/XX/2019 notifying me of the overdraft and that I was protected by Overdraft Protection however I had previously transferred the funds the day before. This resulted in a {$37.00} Overdraft fee accessed to my account ( though their messaging told me that I had protection for overdraft on the morning of XX/XX/2019. ) The second situation happened today on XX/XX/2019. I received notification when my flight landed that my account was overdrawn however I ( again ) had been traveling for work and was in the air most of the day unable to have internet access in order to transfer funds from my XXXX XXXX Primary Account into my Huntington Account. I called Huntington and each time I was greeted with an automated system that there was a system error and I could not be helped then hung up on. This is completely unacceptable as this is the second time I have tried to transfer money from my primary account to my Huntington Account ad have been denied and charged an Overdraft Fee though funds were sent the day of and communication was failing on Huntington 's part.

Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX I called them after a " server '' contacted me via my work phone to give me a case # that I was being sued. They gave me the phone number for the XXXX XXXX XXXX. The case number was just the case number for the XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX who identified themselves as a paralegal that works for the law offices that were taking me to court. that I was going to owe them over {$1800.00} if it went to court, but I could settle with them for {$360.00}. I asked XXXX if she worked for a collections agency or a Law firm. She confirmed again that she worked for the law firm. I asked to be emailed a copy of the proof of debt. She emailed me a page stating how much I owed, but not actual proof of debt. This page only had a company name and phone number, no address As soon as I mentioned that I needed proof I was told that I would only get it if we went to court. She quickly ended the conversation and hung up.

I do not want the account anymore, and it has a monthly fee. I can not make it to a branch during business hours, which I told the lady on the phone, but she refused to make an exception. I asked several more times to no avail. It seems very unethical to me that they are making it so difficult to close my account with them. I don't even know how I will do it.

Complaint: Due to inaccurate reporting of available funds by Huntington Bank I incurred an initial overdraft fee on a purchase of gasoline in the amount of {$57.00}. With my account now in the negative there were 2 more transactions processed by the bank in the amounts of {$12.00} ( XXXX ), {$5.00} ( XXXX XXXX ) and {$9.00} ( XXXX ). The overdraft fees associated with these transactions amounted to a total of {$150.00}. Now at an even larger negative balance on my account. The bank authorized wrongful charge from XXXX cable. Historically I always pay my XXXX bill with another account. The charge was processed to this account in XXXX error. To which they admitted fault. Upon learning of this I contacted XXXX and visited a local Huntington branch and spoke to reps about how to go about resolving this. I was told by both of them to file a wrongful charge claim. I did so on XX/XX/2019. I was told not to transfer any funds to offset anything while the bank was investigating the wrongful charge because the banking institution would be less inclined to refund the funds. That same day I called Huntingtons customer service to confirm that what the branch representative was telling were true and was told that it was. As a precaution, I paid XXXX again. Just in case the investigation had a negative impact on my billing. Upon finishing their investigation Huntington decided in the favor of XXXX. Although there should be a recording from my conversation with a rep where they're admitting fault. Folllwing the instructions of multiple bank reps I did not transfer any funds to offset the negative account and this resulted in the bank adding additional overdraft fees. Huntingtons determination resulted in even more overdraft fees. After everything had processed I had 11 overdraft fees totalling {$360.00} resulting from 4 transactions ; 3 of which being less than {$13.00}. To offset the full negative balance of {$470.00}. Funds were transferred from another account without authorization or notice. I read the disclosure statement and it does not support this. This situation is resulting in me being unable to pay my rent as I'd intended to on XX/XX/2019.

Complaint: Below is the events happening with Bank for last one year!! 1. XX/XX/XXXX : Based on the PMI guidelines published by the Huntington Bank ( Mortgage Company ), I paid {$17000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. I qualify all the condition mentioned. 2. XX/XX/XXXX : I called the bank and asked about next step and Operator asked me to write a letter to bank and fax the same as per instructions provided to me. 3. XX/XX/XXXX : I faxed everything as per instructions, report is attached 4. XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX : I made several calls to them and told its processing and normally take 60 days. They also share some more forms to complete, which I did and I also told them I am going out of country on XX/XX/XXXX so dont have access to letters, Operator assure adjustments will be reflected on line automaticaly. 5 XX/XX/XXXX : I left to XXXX, Ticket attached. 6. XX/XX/XXXX : I made next payment on-time. 7. XX/XX/XXXX : I had to change my return flight as I got query from US immigration and could not travel back due to non stamping of VISA. - Change Details attached. 8. XX/XX/XXXX : 60 Days timeline of process was complete, I havent heard anything from bank. I tried contacting bank several time but no luck from XXXX. I saw my online bank account no change in my Statement neither no updates or messages or email. 9. XX/XX/XXXX : I landed back in US and contacted the bank, I was told everything is fine and should be getting updates, and told sorry for the delay. However I also realized my XXXX payment is delayed due to lack of assurance from the bank and delay in service. 10. XX/XX/XXXX : I paid both the payments and called the bank for late payment waiver and cited the reason for delay. They were ok with that. Now onwards till XXXX I gave several calls to the PMI department of the bank and received no response. 11. XX/XX/XXXX : I was assured will get decision by XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX : I was asked to deposit {$150.00} to request home evaluation, I provided the details 13. XX/XX/XXXX : Bank send letter of denial Citing a reason as in point 9, That I missed one payment : ( With this detailed time line and story, I have been misguided by bank and they were not able to meet the following commitment. 1. Bank were not able to close the case in 60 days neither cited any reason. 2. Bank Misguided me that adjustments will be reflected in account any time soon and stated different time lines. 3. Bank took very silly excuse at the end which is not justified neither challenge any of my attention or ability to pay back the loan. 4. Bank services are very poor as their is no direct access to PMI department. With this experience I have lost my waiver I was qualifying to, means had paid {$290.00} every month even after completion of my 80 % LTV, Has lost faith in the system, Took overhead burden of something I dont deserve for. Here after I kept paying the regular installment and also paid extra principle amount reach 78 % LTV, Where I qualify for the PMI waver. XX/XX/XXXX : I raised fresh request to cancel my PMI, Bank again came with rejection over the phone siting same old reason.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX I received the email I copied below. I called Huntington after I read the email, and was told that their criteria for awarding credit has changed. When Huntington awarded credit to me, my credit score was at about 600 if my memory serves me right. They started me off with a {$4000.00} credit limit, and I was paying a 23 to 25 % Interest, that was based on the rewards program they offered, I accepted the terms and I've paid my bill, not the minimum, most of my disposable income goes into my credit card when I use it because I can use the card when I need to. Huntington 's reason for closing my account per the letter I received yesterday was for a 1. Lack of sufficient deposits with Huntington or another qualifying Huntington relationship. " This was not a term presented to me at the time credit was offered '', the credit was offered, I called them with the offer they made to me. 2. Frequency of revolving activity on the account, " the more I use their card the more money they make off me? ". Right! 3. Utilization level on the account, " same reason as the second and fourth reason they gave ''. Finally, my complaint is that I believe Huntington is discriminating against me, because of my race. The current political environment makes this fact clear. Per my estimation I have been a good paying consumer because ; 1 ) I pay my bill on time. I never pay the minimum, when I have the funds I pay off my balance. 2 ) My credit score is much better than it was when they offered credit, please be aware I do have derogatory reporting, but those existed when credit was offered and awarded. 3 ) Huntington never made a complaint to me regarding my account. I believe I am being targeted for no other reason than my name.
