Complaint: I opened an account ( CD for {$25000.00} ) on XX/XX/2019. I was told that if I opened another checking account and deposited {$1500.00} that I would receive a {$200.00} bonus. About 2 months went buy and my bonus was not put into my account. I went back to the bank and talked to the man who set up the account ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ). He said I had to have the money in there for 90 days before the bonus would hit. We are now over 120 days and my bonus has not hit, XXXX XXXX XXXX no longer works there. They said he was transferred to XXXX Mi. and nobody else at that bank in XXXX XXXX has any knowledge of a bonus coming to me. I have 4 accounts at that bank and I sure did not need another one, I only opened it because of the bonus that he guaranteed I would get. I called the complaint department an XX/XX/2019 and lodged a complaint and have heard nothing from them.

Complaint: I am very upset with how I was treated by Huntington bank on XX/XX/XXXX. I had called in to figure out why I was charged with my car payment of {$470.00} and {$200.00}. I had called XX/XX/XXXX staying that I could not make my car payment. The man was like okay well can you at least pay {$200.00} today and {$270.00} another week. I agreed and he said my bank account would not be charged the {$470.00}. Well it was charged with both which at the time put my account at XXXX. My son has been battling XXXX XXXX and it has been so so hard to pay things lately due to our hospital bills. Obviously our son comes first. When I called XX/XX/XXXX I spoke to a man who named XXXX who was rude. He had no sympathy for me said that they would have to investigate instead of giving me my {$200.00} or {$470.00} back to me. I was bawling my eyes out on the phone and asked to speak to a manager instead and he said that would not do me any good. He literally did not even try to reassure me. At this point I do not even want to talk or deal with this loan company anymore. I made a complaint about my situation, a woman called me then never got back to me!!! I just want a huge apology and the company to say they will do whatever to help me through this tough time.

Complaint: Purchased Certificate of Deposit from XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX was merged with XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. At the time I made contact with the bank and was told my certificate was safe with them. XXXX was acquired by Huntington National Bank in XXXX. I contacted them and they confirmed the certificate was still valid. About 5 years ago I contacted the bank to cash my certificate and they refused to honor it. They told me they had no record of it. I have the certificate and have not been able to cash it. I am trying to clear credit card debts and other obligations. I have exhausted all options.

Complaint: I received an email notification from Huntington National Bank on XX/XX/2019 indicating that my credit limit on my credit card was being decreased. The email provided no further explanation, other than I would " receive a notice with more information by mail in the next few days. '' I have yet to receive said notice in the mail. I checked my account online and indeed confirmed my credit limit was reduced from {$24000.00} to {$21000.00}. The account has a {$0.00} balance. When I called to inquire, the representative informed me the change in credit limit was due to an evaluation of my FICO score, credit history, and relationship with the bank. I requested the limit be restored and was denied. I was also told it could not be re-evaluated for 6 months. Fearing that something was wrong with my credit report, I checked it immediately. My FICO score is XXXX. My credit summary shows I'm currently using only 4 % of my available credit, of which {$110000.00} is currently available. There was no unusual activity on my credit report. No changes or discrepancies. XXXX missed/late payments. Ever. My annual income of {$200000.00} remains unchanged, and I have weekly deposits directed into separate checking and savings accounts with Huntington National Bank. So, I have been unable to discern any other valid reason for the reduction in credit on the account, other than the card has a {$0.00} balance and I haven't used it for a purchase in at least 6 months. I called back a second time to dispute the reduction in credit limit and request a restoration to my original credit limit of {$24000.00}. I was again denied, and was dismissed by both the initial representative and subsequently, her manager, to whom I was transferred. The manager also refused to provide a copy of the bank 's decision criteria when requested. I believe the decision to reduce my credit limit was unfounded, arbitrary and unfair on the part of Huntington National Bank. Please consider this submission as my formal complaint against Huntington National Bank.

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I found that {$330.00} had been taken out of my Huntington Bank Checking Account opened at the XXXX XXXX in XXXX Michigan, without my permission. Customer representatives at the XXXX XXXX are investigating and will get back to me. I researched and called Huntington Bank Corporate office in XXXX Ohio, explained unauthorized {$330.00} debited from my checking account. I have no credit card, mortgage or loan account with Huntington. My safety deposit fee is {$77.00} annually. Mr. XXXX a Corporate Executive received my voicemail. I was contacted by Ms. XXXX XXXX, who informed me that she was assigned to find out who and why Huntington Bank took the {$330.00} from my checking account. Weeks later Ms. XXXX told me she sent a letter USPS explaining what happened. Her explanation was that I had 4 years of unpaid safety deposit fees owed to Huntington. I was assigned a safety deposit box in XXXX. I paid the year 1 rental fee or would not have received the 2 keys.I have not received any letter from Ms. XXXX XXXX, however I did a screenshot of her voice message and I have found 1 check that shows safety deposit payment. I am a Senior, who is tech savvy. I want my {$330.00} placed back into my checking account. My savings account with Huntington as of XX/XX/XXXX has the correct balance. My IRA with Huntington is FIDIC and SIPC insured and as of XX/XX/XXXX has the correct mutual fund shares and correct balance. I now moniter my Huntinton Accounts Weekly.! I can upload a copy of the check for {$77.00} and a screen shot of the voicemail from Ms. XXXX XXXX Corporate Huntington Executive.

Complaint: Huntington sold my account to XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. I have attempted 3 times to get statements from my Huntington account for XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX over 3 times, and each time I get passed around. By the time I reached someone, they said I needed to call XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. This makes no sense, because XXXX didn't have my account at the time. I've spent hours trying to do this, and it is preventing me from obtaining financing on a home purchase.
