Complaint: Huntington bank locked my accouont while I was ordering something on l ine! Now, it is frozen, and I can not use account at all!! And they are closed and ar too cheap to hire people to answer their phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This should be enough to FINE HUNTINGTON BANK ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And their location in XXXX, Ohio, always has a broken ATM!!! Either you can not deposit a check or cash, or withdraw money!! It is always broken in some way!! They are too cheap to get it replaced!!

Complaint: I am filing a complaint against XXXX and Huntington Bank because they are reporting a fraudulently opened account on my credit report. I have sent disputes regarding the opening of this fraudulent account with Huntington and XXXX a total of 3 times and it is still reporting on my credit report. I completed all of the necessary steps to get this matter resolved including filing an identity theft report with law enforcement which is attached to this complaint. XXXX and XXXX have already stopped the reporting of this fraudulent account form my credit report but XXXX remains to report it. This issue still remains open and my credit has been severely damaged because of this. This will be my final attempt to get this matter resolve before lawsuits are filed for damages agains XXXX and Huntington Bank for violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. The full credit card account number is XXXX which is also the number reporting on my credit report.

Complaint: I purchased tickets through XXXX post to a XXXX user XXXX XXXX email address XXXX. The transaction took place on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX. I used my XXXX account that was linked to XXXX. I sent {$130.00} for 3 tickets. The seller has since vanished. XXXX has said they aren't responsible to protect users against fraud. XXXX should have fraud protection in place if they are promoting this as a bank backed app.

Complaint: On XX/XX/2019, my girlfriend and I went into the Huntington Bank at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, MI XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX ( what is listed above in the form I filled out is the corporate office ). Waited over 30 minutes to see someone about setting up a new business account. Note : I'm already an existing 11 year customer with a healthy business account and personal account. We ended up getting the Branch Manager, XXXX XXXX. Get in her office and she stops me mid sentence and says and she won't deposit the check because " company '' was abbreviated to " comp '' ( which ended up being because of software character limits in the company name ). If that's not enough, she didn't even bother to setup the new business account or even offer to set one up, or look up my existing account. I need to be very clear here, she didn't even " wake '' up her computer or use it at all, she didn't even swivel around to look at her computer. We then went to the Huntington Bank on XXXX and the Branch Manager had no problem! Setup my new account and deposited my check. A week later, got my new debit card in the mail and the company name was abbreviated to " Comp '' - yes. Seriously! So according to XXXX XXXX, this debit card would not be valid. Right? Did I mention I had my girlfriend with me when I went in? That is discrimination. This lady needs a job that caters to her discrimination because at the end of the day, no training can remove her subconscious hatred that affects her ability to do her job fairly. I called the following week and filed a complaint with Huntington Bank. XXXX XXXX ( phone number XXXX ) called me back from the corporate office and basically just listened, in a later conversation, he admitted he took no action. There was some miscommunication and another person named " XXXX '' ( phone number XXXX ) called from a XXXX area code stating to be from Huntington Bank. He told me he spoke to XXXX XXXX and the reason she didn't setup the account is because the mailing address of the business was at a XXXX store. Remember I said she never once used her computer? I have a witness, she does not. That is her defense. It's an outright lie and falls flat when I say it is the same address of my business account that I've has with them for years. There is really no other explanation than discrimination if I am able to take the check and DBA across town and get the account setup and check deposited.

Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I purchased a travel trailer from XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, Ohio. The loan for the vehicle was arranged through XXXX XXXX Bank and the installment loan terms were set at 11.25 % for 144 months with the first payment due on XX/XX/XXXX. I have cancelled checks, bank statements and receipts that demonstrate that 144 consecutive payments of {$220.00} were made between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. All but one was made within the 10-day due date grace period. Due to prior commitments I was unable to make it to the bank before they closed and I was assessed a {$40.00} late fee the payment was made one day late on XX/XX/XXXX and the late fee was paid. The total amount paid over the 12 years was {$32000.00} ( i.e., 144 payments of {$220.00} for a total of {$32000.00} plus the {$40.00} late fee ). Not all payments were made on the due date so I anticipated a final balance of around {$50.00} to account for cumulative miscellaneous interest. However, in a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX, Huntington National Bank which took over the loan from XXXX after their merger a claim was made that I sill had an outstanding principal balance of {$480.00} and that I owed a further {$3.00} in interest on that balance. Repeat calls to Huntington have failed to resolve the discrepancy in payment history. Agents and supervisors for the bank have claimed that several payments were deferred or missed. On a few occasions, when the representative provided a date for an allegedly missed payment - and I indicated that I had a cancelled check and receipt that proves a payment was made - they simply stated that is not what the system shows. Nobody has been willing or able to provide documentation that a request to defer a payment was made or that shows a payment was missed. A statement provided by XXXX for tax purposes on XX/XX/XXXX indicates that the account was current and all payments made and applied. Please note : 1 ) I never received any notices by mail that suggested the loan was not current ; and 2 ) virtually all payments were made in-person at the local branch and I was never advised of an issue with the loan or the repayment schedule. It may also be important to note that the XXXX statement ledger from XXXX does not reflect a standard amortization schedule or simple interest formula - an issue that has persisted since the loan was arranged. The loan calculations fees, payment amount, and totals never matched the signed Promissory Note. As an example : their statement indicates that the first payment was dedicated fully to interest with none applied to the principal. When asked about this, I was advised that the system will catch-up something that apparently never happened. The issues with this loan may have been an isolated mistake but if habitual and applied to additional accounts it could be large scale fraud ( i.e., {$1.00} per installment for a single account is a rounding-error for a large company but if applied to millions of accounts with frequency it would be significant ). I have been advised that two cases were opened to reverse the deferral or investigate the misapplied payment but there has been no change in status. In fact, the last representative threatened me with additional late fees, interest and collection activity if I did not pay the balance they indicate in-full within the next 2 days. The agent refused to suspend the due date until the issue has been investigated and a proper balance calculated. At this point, it is clear that the customer service agents and supervisors representing Huntington National Bank have no interest in investigating let alone resolving - this issue. Attempts to escalate the problem within the company have failed. Unfortunately, it appears as though formal complaints and the threat of legal action may be required to gain proper attention to this problem. See attached : 1 ) list of all payments ; 2 ) the original purchase receipt ; and 3 ) the original promissory note.

Complaint: Settled the account in XX/XX/XXXX the last transactions in the beginning of XX/XX/XXXX accompanied with a hand signed letter saying we would receive a satisfactory of the loan document along with the mortgage note and deed. Now the most recent letter from the bank is saying I'm in default and 30 days delinquent. I have went to the branch in person was told they applied the funds incorrectly on there end and promised me I was good and settled now we owe everything all over again I don't understand how they can do this and get away with it I'm XXXX and feel I have been taken advantage of me I'm still learning and contracts and law is complex and takes time and experience please help me. I want to know who holds the note to this mortgage and I want to know why the banks think they can steal all the escrow then re apply my principal curtilment payment s back to the outstanding balance!?

Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I applied by phone for a personal loan to purchase a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Class A motorhome ). The seller was in XXXX Ohio and I am in XXXX Ohio. The Huntington loan officer said it was okay if the sellers couldn't attend the closing. Huntington required sellers and me to sign a bill of sale with the amount, the vin number, etc. After doing that, my closing was set for XX/XX/XXXX. Huntington continually told us the checks for payoff and remainder for seller had been overnighted, then mailed, then no, it's stuck in our processing department, it will go tomorrow. On XX/XX/XXXX, they told me they overnighted it to XXXX for delivery on XX/XX/XXXX. The buyer got her check and allowed us to pick up the motorhome on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, seller found out the XXXX loan had not yet been paid off. After researching, Huntington said check was delivered on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX couldn't find it. Huntington then found out that XXXX had returned the check to Huntington because there was no paperwork with it. It took some time for them to get the check back. XXXX withdrew the XXXX automatic payment from seller 's account. I originally got a 45 day temporary tag. A full month goes by. Continued to follow-up. At the end of XXXX, Huntington asked seller to be home on a certain day to sign for the XXXX payoff check. It didn't arrive. A week later seller received it on a day she wasn't home. Check and new paperwork she needed to sign were soaking wet. She dried them out and overnighted them to XXXX in XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, we made our first payment. On XX/XX/XXXX, seller texted me to say that XXXX was finally showing the loan as paid off. It would take 5 to 8 business days for Huntington to get the docs needed to send to us so we could get permanent tags. Our tags expired so I renewed them for another 30 days. I waited until XX/XX/XXXX before contacting Huntington to give them time to get the document, process it and mail it to me. No reply to email. Most of the time, the sales manager that I was working with by this point didn't pick up when I called and didn't return phone calls. I emailed again on XXXX and was told it would be mailed that day or the next. our second set of tags expired on XX/XX/XXXX. I sent a follow-up email on XX/XX/XXXX after nothing came in the mail. On the XXXX, the sales manager emailed me and said their collateral department needed a letter signed by each of the sellers before they could release the note to us. I was stunned and sent an email that was very clear I was out of patience. He forwarded the collateral dept 's email which tells the sales manager that the collateral dept had repeatedly asked for these signed documents since XXXX and had never received responses. The email says they received the title from XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX but couldn't release it because the signed docs hadn't been provided. I once again provided the seller 's contact info because it was clear they weren't releasing anything until they had those docs. I tried going to the bmv to get a new temporary tag and was told they can't give a third temporary tag. We are supposed to leave for vacation day after tomorrow and now we have an unlicensed vehicle and no remedy in sight for what appears to be weeks. XX/XX/XXXX through XXXX XXXX and no end in sight. No title in hand.
